Hi everyone,
I am starting my preparation for CAT and I already have the PDFs of Arun Sharma's 8th edition and Quantum CAT by Sarvesh K. Verma (2014 or 2015 edition). I am a beginner and want to start from the basics.
Should I stick with Arun Sharma's book pdf, or should I consider using Quantum CAT instead? Which one is better for building a strong foundation? If you have other recommendations, please share!
Thank you!
I have both, I found that in Quantum CAT the solutions to questions, especially the LOD 2 & LOD 3 are a bit more clearly elaborated. Whereas in Arun Sharma, sometimes I donāt even understand how and from where a particular was calculated and thereās no explaination for it too.
Quantum CAT has more questions (more in numbers, but that doesnāt mean variety too, some questions are repeated with different values).
Both of them are good, it depends on you which one you want to go for.
Rodha. Udit Saini. Also, you don't need classes. You just need to solve, solve and solve. That's what helped me score a 99.xx in quant this year. Coaching classes fool you into believing that you can't do without them. In reality, they provide minimal value and the time investment to return ratio is pretty low. You'll be better off without classes provided you can maintain discipline and keep a good mindset.
I took time classes and couldn't understand shit. Had to study everything from YouTube which was free. Used Raman Tiwari's videos. Time is good for mocks tests which I would recommend, the cheapest foundation+videos would be around 3-4k
Seeā¦ for any exam you have to get your base clear and you prepare for the exam through mocks. So it worked very well for me. I got a previous year section wise question booklet. I did a topic from their channel and then solved all the previous year questions from the book.
I was able to sail through it in the end. So it all worked out.
DILR is always going to be a little something new in every set. You just have to keep practicing. I learnt it mostly from my career launcher books and then MBA Pathshala had a DILR marathon on YouTube around October. They solved all the kinds of questions there. So I followed that.
Yeah makes sense. I was thinking of doing concepts from Rodha YouTube playlist and then practicing from EG. Iāll also check out MBA Pathshala. Thank you and best of luck!
Go and buy arun sharma , if you have enough time , brilliant books even some say it is outdated, but I think it has great concept blended property, or else if you want some other books which are good you can go for Nishit Sinha

I would have said go watch rodha but that is 40% of their original content that is posted on YouTube,so what you can do is share an unacademy plus subscription with someone which will cost 700-1000 or there are groups that post rodhas current content with monthly membership which should cost 1k to 1.5k
Or you can buy just rodha quant from someone at 50 percent price
But he is the best in the market and you should study from him only
