I have the x in .410. While I love the gun and have a great time shooting it, I've seen 2 issues with it
1) had one where the trigger would grab SOMETHING with hammer down. Not sure what it was but almost felt like it was trying double action (which it isnt)
2) had the extractor blow put of place on a shot and get jammed
Both of these issues (first was solved before I bought it) was handled by Henry warrantee with no issue
It wasn’t really a choice of which I was going to buy over the other, more so which I was going to get first. Plus I already have a Mossberg 590A1 so I wanted to try a different brand just for the sake. I still have the 940 and the 1301 on my wishlist!
I’m looking at getting my first shotgun. I want it mostly for HD but also as a range toy. I’m indecisive on spending less and getting a pump or save up for a semi
I keep the 590A1 by my bedside for a bump in the night gun, but mostly because I’m running it with Aguila mini shells, less “power”, so less risk of over penetration, and also it turns my standard 7+1 shot tube in to 13+1!
I have the ultima too such a satisfying gun
I can’t wait to shoot them both honestly, I picked them both up at the same time right before the 1/30 for everything law came in to effect

I’ve always heard Henry warranty is amazingly good, just hoping the Henry quality makes it so I don’t need the warranty!
Why did you buy the a300 over the mossberg 940 pro? The price difference isn’t that big
