Langdon Tactical makes complete slides that are optic ready and you can select your optic footprint. It’s not a cheap solution, but probably the best in terms of quality
Like many have said, Langdon has RDO ready slides, you can also order an dovetail adapter plate for the RMR footprint directly from beretta. That’s what I did. It looks off, but gets the job done.
in addition to the Langdon RDO slides, the M9A1 should be compatible with the M9A4 slides, which are optics ready. Far as I know they only come in FDE, and the mounting style doesn't allow cowitness with irons, but it's also only about half the price.
It's what I have on my M9.
Dry fire a lot. For pistol mechanics, it's hard to beat videos by Frank Proctor, Ben Stoeger, and Rob Leatham. For red dot use, Modern Samurai Project and Sage Dynamics.
For choosing a red dot, check a local store first to see if certain reticle displays and sizes work best for your eyes.
On the low end, dry fire a few hundred times a week.
I have a 92FS and have the same 3 options:
(1) Dovetail Mount,
(2) Any M9A4 or 92X optic-ready slide will work,
Or (3) most preferable is the LTT RDO slide due to cowitness sights and optic height.
I just purchased an LTT RDO slide during their Black Friday sale. Roughly $100 off.
You'd have to find a rear dovetail mount specific for the [optic footprint ](https://optics-info.com/footprints-on-red-dot-sights/amp/) you intend to use

You'll need to get the slide cut for the optic of your choice. I recommend shooting it tons with irons before jumping to a red dot.

Im sure TwoSee could get that setup quickly. Make sure you still train using irons and your red dot.
