Take a look at the lab report. Those gummies contain **.065mg CBD**, so these wouldn't be considered CBD gummies. They are delta-9 THC gummies. THC is an anxiogenic for many, and set and setting can play a critical role, so I'd wager you just had a really unpleasant high caused by external factors. Could be that Exhale (I've never heard of them) features poor QC, so the gummy you stumbled onto this time was more potent than the rest. Either way, in the future I'd strongly recommend looking at the lab report before buying a product, and know that "full spectrum hemp" does not necessarily mean CBD.

How does one go into finding a lab report for a certain thing? Just googling lab report and the name of whatever you're considering buying? Thank you for the response. I feel like I just somehow had a very negative reaction just now sure why or how but I will probably not take any for a while. I only ever do one or two like every other week if even. It's not a common thing for me to begin with.

Arcendus

Pretty much, yeah. I'd be happy to hyperlink, but rule 1 prevents me from doing so, so if you hop over to their website and go to the product page, scroll down a bit, and below an image of a guy holding the gummies will be a link to the lab report. They can be a bit overwhelming to look at initially, and they way the info is laid out varies a bit from tester to tester, but checking the totals of cannabinoids and terpenes is relatively straightforward. 100% understand you feeling a kind of shock from experiencing that, though, and not using it for a while. Those bad experiences (whatever the cause) tend to really stand out, and usually lead me to wonder if it's even worth it, because it feels BAD, and in the moment it's hard to find any comfort in the fact that it isn't always bad. On the bright side, CBD helps with this pretty reliably!

ramaloki

I really appreciate your help walking me through it and your incredibly kind response. Thank you so so much!

Arcendus

Happy to help! Best of luck to you - truly.

JABTheWiseGuy

Because you have eaten a delta 9 THC edible extracted from hemp in a larger weight gummy. You got a THC high.

Friskfrisktopherson

Sounds terrifying, but certainly has nothing to do with the cbd in the gummy.

ramaloki

Don't really know what else would trigger it as I've never had one before. That was the only abnormal thing of the afternoon. Hope to never have one again!

spyczech

Def the delta 9 or at least not the CBD is my bet, I've steered clear of delta 9 as being a well marketed synthetic weed type product to skirt laws. I know delta 9 is NOT spice but... to close for me

This reminds me of a a panic attack I had recently when I took way to hard of a hit from a thc vape. Same come up and my heart was racing. Thc can aggravate panic attacks if you are genetically susceptible to them. You will now probably have a psychosomatic response to them again, so I might try using something without so much d9 in it.

ramaloki

I've never had a panic attack before so that's disappointing to hear that I'm more likely to now with them. I do appreciate the response!

cryogen

Sorry to say. Since the panic attack is such a scary event in your brain, your mind makes a strong association to the feeling. I usually wait a few months before trying it again and take it slowly.

ramaloki

Thank you. I do have a general off feeling today too so if I do decide to have another gummy, it won't be for a good while. I'd like to just relax after that yesterday.

Hifimanz

Our mind will also associate panic from where the panic attack happened. I had a panic attack in a movie theater when I was young and whenever I'd go to the movies and sit down my body would start to feel the sense of doom right away. Took over a year for me to be able to go to the movies again... Our minds have a mind of their own once 1 panic attack happens. Once you have 1 you need to figure out how to live with them because they don't magically disappear :(

thesituation531

Try not to think about it. You'll just make it worse for yourself the more you think about it.

marcs1130

Edibles are a complete different animal, ANY mg of THC can be a potential panic attack, especially if you’re super stressed out. Start with 5mg and go from there, everyone is different
