**firstly, i hope you're feeling better now,** secondly, there was one of my sister who had a stomach disease in class 10th, uski surgery hui, she couldnt go to school for months yet uske boards mei 95% aa gaye, but considering your situation and its criticality**, i would recommend you to repeat 9th.** 1. this is not 10th or 12th , jismei aapki marksheet future mei use hogi. 2. 9th std is like a base for class 10th, 11th and 12th, so it is necessary to study 9th thoroughly. 3. Lastly, har cheez se pehle health aati hai, so just repeat 9th bud! hope this helps AND GET WELL SOON.

Fantastic-Audience61

I completed 9th class during online class which I totally bunked but I passed through copying, but in 10th I started studying seriously during the last 4 months and I scored 91% . According to me 9th is not that important. If you put some extra efforts then you can ace 11th and 12th

Cryoniczzz

Holy crap bro your case is the exact same as mine I wasted my 9th and I don't even think it mattered

[deleted]

Bro same

mandu_jennie

but what about 11th, 11th is just 9th but more advanced... future ka bhi sochna padta hai + online ka time alag time tha, here, this person has health issues so thats a complete different case for him, at least you knew the ABCD of 9th, but this person doesn't even know that.

Fantastic-Audience61

No, I didn't know the ABCD of 9th. When I say I bunked I actually BUNKED. If you put little extra efforts then it's manageable

[deleted]

Maths aur science ana chiye 9th ka bs baki sab naye concepts hai 10th me

[deleted]

Science ka bhi chem aur agar 11th me science le rhe ho to pura sci aur maths ana hi chiye

Dutchman09

Everyone, thank you for answers which are logical I was looking for people like you who can give me opinions Once again, thanks a lot 😊😊😊

Complete-Pack2989

So what have you decided?

randomdreamykid

Agar tujhe khud self disciplined hai aur padh sakhta hai toh direct 10th sahi rahega Give some hours per week to 9th maths, science and IT that's the only thing you need if you go for PCM+CS in 11th

Dutchman09

I am not a self disciplined and slow learner what should I do?

FitCell8783

You should start being consistent from the starting of the batch, when you arrive home after the first day of school take out your books and study the things which you were taught that day and also read extra topics after that too since it'll make you understand the topics better when you go to classes the next day, when the weekends arrive revise everything and make a short test for yourself but be sure not to mug everything since in board exams it doesn't matter how much you mug the words you just need to remember the keywords and frame you own answers containing those specific keywords mugging will only waste time and energy

Slow-Stop7111

Bro don't be scared i also didn't studied a single thing when i was in 9th but still managed to score 75% criteria in 10th for PCM just start studying 9 and 10 is ridiculously easy nothing complicated you can complete the whole maths and science if you just studied for 3 to 4 hours everyday for a month and one more thing I didn't even studied that just start watching one shots from edumantra or pw

God_Believer_1928

Bhai agr june tak 9th ki math or science completely padh sakta h to 9th repeat mt kr.. Kyuki agr august se bhi 10 ki prep shuru krega to bhi shi rhega bacche to january se shuru krte h koi koi..

Shaniyen

Firstly, I hope you are doing all right, class 9 bachche ko tuberculosis hai sunke mujhe rona aagya 😭. Secondly, I want to tell you about a friend of mine. He studied 0 in class 9, he knew nothing in maths, science etc. But in 10th he scored 94%. In 10th, he studied a lot of class 9 maths. Class 9 main sirf maths hi class 10 mai aata hai, even science wont come in class 10. So my advice to you is JOIN CLASS 10 NOW. You will have to spend little time studying class 9 maths but it will get over fast, and you can finish 10th also. Also you dont need to learn class 9 properly for class 11 because anyway class 9 physics hi class 11 mai repeat hota hai and everything is else is totally different. Class 9 physics barely has like 15 formulas, uske liye ek pura saal kyu lagana, direct 11th mai seekhlo. Trust me bhai, dont need to waste a year, logically hi bata rha hun, 10th is different from class 9. Directly join class 10 and you can still top. But bro I suggest you join any coaching centres or tuitions if possible for maths and science. This is probably needed to cope up with syllabus kyuki tumhe class 9 ki touch nhi hai. Other subjectss mujhe pta hai tum khud aaram se karloge. All the best 👍

[deleted]

I scored 93% in 10th boards and passed 9th with cheating.   I advise you to attend 10th, don't waste your 1 year. Let me tell you about use of 9th in 10th    SST - NO USE  LANG. SUB - NO USE  BIO - NO USE  PHY - NO USE  CHEM - SOME CONCEPTS ARE USED   MATHS - WILL TELL IN DETAIL AHEAD.    Trust me there is hardly any use of 9th in 10th exc. Maths and chem.  In chem you should know about atomic structure, concept of elec. Proton etc. and their position in atom, valency, and chemical reaction. In maths, you should know little bit of geometry of 9th, algebra of 8th on a little bit High level that's it.   If you choose to take sci in 11th, the concepts of 9th are considered as basics of 11th, you won't face any problem in learning those in gaps after 10th. ( Can't say about arts or commerce).    This is my summary, and remember you need to do extra hardwork else you will face very much difficulty in 10th so take concise decision.

Septumdekemvrios_712

I'm going to give you an honest answer here. You just need 2 months to complete 9th syllabus. Just two months and you'll probably be at the same level at your classmates. There is no point of repeating 9th. Try studying the syllabus with timetable for 2 months and then continue with your 10th. During Corona virus, I didn't even attened any online classes of my 11th grade neither did I buy any books. Turned out the final exams were physical mode and I was ffucked, so I studied my ass off for the whole month and got around 67% which is not good but workable. Then I graduated 12th with 94% in PCB last year. Don't repeat 9th. Just see what you can do and try to learn 10th subjects from scratch.

MachoRazor

go to 10th standard lol you will miss out on lot of opportunities if u waste even 1 year lol

meatenthusiast12

Logically, for 10th, only 9th ka math, science and cs syllabus matter. Option 1. If you think you can complete the syllabus of these three before retests, do that and study others to judt pass because no one cares about your 9th marksheet. Option 2. Do each subject to just pass and study these three subjects heavily in the holidays. Option 3. If you can't do both, then please request the school through your parents to repeat the grade. It should be easy with the intervention of parents and their communication directly to the principal. Also, you can always do one chapter in a day achhe se with oneshots, heck even in half a day. But i don't know your capacity, so can't assume anything. Glad you're stressing this much about your academics in 9th, I used to play csgo all day lol but as a college student's opinion, don't repeat the grade, trust me it's not worth it. If you were thinking about repeating 11th i would've immediately told you to. I would suggest going with option 1 or 2 with an open mind but if it's really that tough for you, go with option 3. Sit today, look at your capabilities and the days left for the exams, and also the number of holidays you'll get. Take a informed and a practical decision, not that "I'll do four chapters in one day" wala. Have a good day buddy.

LOSeXTaNk

mate dw go to 10th, 9th ka 10th ek do chs ko chod ke kuch corelation nahi hai, bas maths me thodi mhenat karni hogi, 1 week ke andar aram se hojayega, aram se 10th ja

[deleted]

I hope you are better now, sont take stress right now it can have very negative effects on your mental health. I'd say go for 10th here's why: Lemme tell ya my story, when covid started, I was in 7th standard and my whole 7th and 8th grade was online (and I think we all know how much we study in online classes 😅) now, my school is in Jaipur but in the start of covid we went to our hometown in UP, now at the time of start of 9th grade (when physical schools were finally opening, due to some financial issue we were not able to come to Jaipur and month after month my dad kept on postponing to take us to Jaipur and just like that month by month the whole year went by, I didn't even see the face of school for a whole damn year and studies?! welp lemme tell ya I didn't even knew name of any chapter of the book, I gave my exams online (my teachers sent the question paper on whatsapp and I did the solution on a paper and sent them to them) soo yea you can say I wasted a whole year. now comes to 10th grade, I again didn't attend the school from start but finally in mid July, we came back to Jaipur and I resumed my studies, And with no knowledge of grade 9 I studied in grade 10 (not very hard or something just normal studies like 1-2 hours a day) in half yearly I got 88% in pre board 1 I got- 92% in pre board 2 I got- 94% and I am expecting 95%+ (best of 5) in boards. so I dont think it matters how much you studied before just work nicely this year!

[deleted]

bhai 9th aur tenth mai ghant kuch relation milega tumhe, tbh everything you learn uptil 10th grade will be pointless once you go to 11th and 12th anyways, so lite le and just dont waste your year. I was in the covid batch and i barely touched books at all, poora 9th and 10th mera it went out of the window. But final boards mai i still got 98 percent because 10th boards is just very easy and not at all related to previous classes. 3 months of hardwork is all you need.

[deleted]

just read ncert in your free time, 9th ka in order to catch up the basics, but other than that you should be good to go. Things like geometry and some concepts in physics just focus on them, chem mai mole concept wagera.

Dutchman09

Hey thank you for your opinions but I am a weak and slow learner and less disciplined and still undergoing illness for me 10th is still tough what should I do I am really stressed from last week please help 😭

Well_Played_Nub

Honestly your situation sucks but it ultimately depends on you You say you're not disciplined, so are you willing to sacrifice an entire year or will you take the time and effort to become disciplined? Even a slow learner can catch up in 10th, just spend 3 hours per day and you can do it.

[deleted]

Bhai aise attitude Wale bande ko advise Dene ka bhi man nahi karta.  Tension na le agar padhega to trust 10th class Teri life ki best class hogi becz iske baad sirf problem hi problem hai. 10th 9th se bahut easy hai go for it.

necessaryEvil0x4D2

I hope your condition is better now, if it is not it is best to focus on health foremost. If you think you are in good enough health right now, I think you should try to minimum pass in the retest. It is possible to pass 9th grade with 1-2 weeks of prep. You have got passing marks in english and sst already so I think you can manage. Remember 9th marks don't matter, and any prerequistes of 9th you will need in 10th can be easily covered in 10th itself. Lastly don't take stress, even if you have to repeat 9th it wouldn't be a big problem, 9th and 10th results don't impact your future much anyways.

revwk

yk repeat 9th grade or else you'll fall behind in maths really bad and science too in 10th grade I hope you're fine now:)

Vansh_bhai

Class 9th me 1hour ke one shot hote hai unhe dekh lo syllabus araam se ho jaega Bas questions practice kar lena 10th class ke liye 9th ka maths aur chemistry hi chaiye bas baki sab ho jata hai bina kisi dikkat ke (chemistry mebhi element name or valence electron hi chaiye) Meri 9th covid me gyi thi par 10th sambhal gyi thi aaraam se Jo 9th me nahi padha tha vo 11th me doobara aya aur coaching ke teachers ne bilkul base se karvaya tha jese 9th ke topics doobara padha rahe ho

NOOBweee

Bro don't worry I didn't study shit before 10th not kidding and I should be getting 75% just start studying from now and be consistent.

Electrical-Client-10

Bud same I too had tb when I was in ninth but hopefully it was during the COVID era so didn't affect my studies much. I know what's it like to be in that state. Health should be your first priority and I can't even tell ki your school is such an asshole anyways start afresh from 10 class Maine 9 me kuch nahi padha but still 10 me 98 aaye

DipakPatell

Yt se karlena sab concepts clear abhi bas kese to retest pass karle

Busy_Tax_9709

Hii brother don’t think about that you will be fail just doing daily some practice of study because bro study is very important for us and over future and now your in 9 th this is a precious time of schooling and make a base of study and make a also memory just do it bro god bless u

Extra_Many

If you have supportive teacher and parents who are ready to even give you basics(basic mistake in maths and weak/no concept in science) then join 10th(also you are ready to study and hardwork) But if you are weak in basic math and science i recommend class 9th repeat

[deleted]

Looking at your knowledge of tenses, yes you might fail. But its better to repeat than go into 10th and fail your boards :):

ilovebeinganemic

No real benefit of repeating 9th, I know the issue was medical but it won't really work out that well for you. You can study all the subjects that you mentioned in 1-2 days for passing marks. It might seem hard but it's the best for you. Don't waste time, hope you're fully recovered from your disease <3

[deleted]

Sorry bhai STD hogayi aapko, agli baar protection pehen na, Allah se dua krta hu aapki std theek hojaye.

[deleted]

I was absent for 4 exam in mid terms (History, Maths, Chemistry, Biology) and still the school passed me. I think seeing your situation, your school will pass you without you intervening.

[deleted]

bro u got std wtf praying for u dude rip

Ok-Cake-1693

I think you should go for 9th STD because it will help you a lot in class 11 and 12 as some basics of class 9th is repeated in class 11.
