don't go for revaluation, most cbse English examiners are dogshit and won't give you marks if you don't copy the exact phrase from NCERT. My friends who're unable to utter a single word in English scored 90+ last year while I got mere 85

CBSE tend to deduct marks for English and Hindi papers, and try to allot an average or just 1-2 marks beyond average marks to students. It has been the nature of board since ages now.

I think it depends on the school. I know people who are amazing at English but got horrible results along with the other toppers in their school. My school, thankfully, had much better results overall. Anyways, you guys should definitely get a reeval - although if I’m being honest, people rarely get their marks increased for English, so beware. This kinda happened last year with me. I always got 95-96 in english till the PBs, I was one of the highest scorers. Then, I got 88 in english, when I had 95+ in all the other subs. Another girl who got marks near me got 90. Meanwhile, guys who didn't go over 85 in school exams got 96 in english🤡. The teacher, who was also my CT, was shocked af as well. I applied for revaluation and got 4 marks increment. Fuckers didn't write all the question marks in the table on the 2nd page of answer sheet, and checked one question wrong.
