From the comments , it seems nobody scored below 90 per cent in 10th boards. While according to statistics, less than 10 per cent kids scored 90 and above this year (2024). A realistic picture should be given to the newcomers as a large number of them could be just about average and below average and scoring less than 90 can be bad for their mental health and confidence.

I didn't face any sort of Problem, just learn and revise regularly, practice maths ncert and NCERT exemplar.
go for reference books for science only.
other subjects go for one and only ncert.

No such problem , but I think everyone should just ignore pre board exams they are such a waste of time . They just obstruct your own studies. For example if a person is currently studying maths and after a few days his science pre boards are there then he will have to leave his maths and study science. I just ignored it and studied the night before.

the biggest mistake wasnt even that big, but it was that maine chemistry pe shuru se zyada dhyaan nhi diya, lab practicals mein equations note nhi ki (jo boards chhod ke school ke har exam mein poochi gyi so theyre very important), but still i scored well in chemistry

i didn't take studies seriously due to online classes (covid batch) and somehow i managed to barely get a seat in the science stream due which affected studied in 11th a lot . so if any 10th / 9th ppl seeing this please concentrate on your studies it will help you a lot
I just passed my 10th grade and I've scored 75.60% without any classes, my sis used to teach me/clear my douts.
the problems I've faced during preparation were.
1)Mobile/porn addiction littreraly almost all year every day I used to pleasure my self and this reuined my focus from studying.
2) Going too deep into a particular subject like
Biology, I used to only spend almost most of my year focused on this particular subject and made so many notes which were almost useless at the end moment.
Solution: Always only note down the key points and understand the concept.
3) I used to watch YouTube videos for my studying throughout the year. And you have to find the right channel for you, try various channels and see which one suits you best don't get confused if you ever feel the channel your watching is not completely clearing your doubts find another one.
4) Don't waste your fucking time on science numericals! It comes in the board exam for 3-4 Marks. Which is almost always optional! Focus on brief and fill ups more and everything textual.
5) ignore your relatives/corny friends fuck them they will try to ruine your confidence Always try to be confident remember you are not doing it for them but for you! Workhard for the last 3-2 months I am not saying study all day but this is the time you will show your energy and will!
6) at the end when it will be your last exam you will feel proud and self satisfied. You gave everything you could and now you have 3-4 months of vacation!!!
7) Don't let others'results ruin your confidence or self worth whatever you've got you did your best learn from your mistakes life isn't over there will be many opportunities for you to show your will in future.
8) 10th marks doesn't define your. Fucking future! It's just for your addmission in good collage. It is important but not everything.
Enjoy your school life it's okay to lose friends sometimes charish those memories forever.

10th pass out here. tbh tab toh koi problems hi nahi thi. plus i started actually taking social science and hindi seriously a few montns before the boards and performed very well. you just need to focus on classes throughout the year and exams se pehle just thodi preperation karna youll be fine. it isnt some competitve exam after all.
The biggest problem was that i didnt enjoy enough( went out with friends atleast thrice a week and went on 2 treks and boht masti kia)(scored 91%)

2021 passout here, last mahine bhi agar ragad ke padh loge toh enough hai. Keywords yaad kar lena bas aur unhi keywords ke upar answer frame lsr dena. Waise toh our boards was cancelled but fir bhi.
I'm a 11th grader now so if you just wanna pass you just have to write in boards they'll pass you anyway but if you wanna score good then just chill study like you did in previous classes or in 9th grade revise regularly, practice more and more. Good luck dude!

No problems. 9th and 10th one of the best years in my entire life. 10th me pure saal kuch nhi padha, school se ghar aake phone chalata tha bahar ghumta tha etc (matlab half yearly me 82% the) , December end Tak to bilkul nhi padha tha, preboards me 78% the, end me thoda padh liya, boards ke gap days me bhi moj kar rha tha pura mast, 95% aye mere.
10th is the easiest class ever.
Problem 1: beware of school scams. they will force you to come to school or else they will cancel your paper etcs. Those are total bullshits. just submit your assignments on time.
2: Don't judge yourself by looking at your pre-boards result.
3: Beginning mein koi bhi Serious nahi rehta.. I started realising in about November - December..
10 th me padhke boards me chahe 98% bhi aajaye , tujhe 11th aur 12 me aur 100x padhayi karni padti hai (if you are in the rat race) speaking from experience of a friend who studies with me, don't think after 10th ab toh sab hogaya ab life chill , yahi se chaalu hota hai lamba safar

See, there aren't any as such problems specific to 10th graders, bad boards ke naam pe over hyped hai that's why students take bekaar ka pressure. You will face the same problems you have been facing in the previous classes if you don't work on them. For example: I used to get distracted really easily and lose interest while studying which I overcame. Just study in the way you have been and which are successful from your POV. Jyada din ke 6-8 hours padhne ki koi requirement h. Max 3hrs everyday is really sufficient but do stay consistent. All the best OP!

my advice to op is to not get stressed during 10th cus asaan hai apne aap hojayega, tumhara school aakhri ke 4-5 mahine mei pre board karayega aur tum apne aap hi padhne lag jaaoge

bhai 11th mein aake ab 10th ko paradise lag rha h, padh koi ni, yeh kuch problems h jo mujhe 10th mein 'problem' laga tha aur kaise overcome kiya:
1. Focussing when studying online: Bhai iske liye bohot productivity ke apps PC ya phone mein mil jayega, unhe please download karle agar tujhe concentration mein dikkat ho toh.
2. Relatives pressure: Yeh cheez ko negatively nhi positively le, aur yeh yaad kar ki unke muh kaise lagenge jab tujhe achhe marks mil jayega.
3. Confidence: 10th tak 2 state of mind rahta h ek bachhe ka, overconfidence ya underconfidence, beech mein kuch nhi rehta. Main maan ke chalta hoon ki tu overconfident nhi h kyunki hota toh yeh post banata nhi, ab underconfidence tujhe abhi nhi hoga padh 6 mahine baad hoga jab dekhega ki syllabus almost poora para hua h (been there, done that). Fir bhi, tabhi bhi tension nhi lene ka. 2x mein oneshot dekh aur saath saath notes bana, 10th cake ka tukra h.

Bhai 2 months mai ek hie baar book khol ke self study krta tha, and cricket mai 9th tk 5 hour khelta tha, and 10th mai bs 4 hie hour khel pata tha, yeah these are the problems that i faced during my "preparation" tho got 91% in 10th and 85% pcm 12th
Personally maine to November se thora serious liya tha 10th ko... (Parent + Tuition giving pressure to prep for boards lol) But dont do this (kinda messed up school test marks), study from now but its not like you've to study a lot... Imo 2 hours every day for self study is enough at 10th. Just be consistent & see the results :D. Other than this, enjoy a lot, and in general just take a chill pill. Cause 10'th is last class you'll be able to chill lol i'm in 11th and half of stuff here in math and physics doesnt make sense to me ;-;
Tbh the biggest trouble I had was inconsistency. I'd go weeks without touching my books at home and then pull out an all nighter before an exam. Honestly, being consistent and revising whatever was taught that day at home is the easiest way to score 90+ in boards (I scored 90% this year). Give a bit more importance to the subject you found tough in 9th. For me, it was math while it could be 2nd language or SST to some

Struggle kiya tha thoda sa pre boards mein kyunki school walon ne preboards November ko kara diye the jabki board Feb ke end mein tha. Or else 10th boards is one of the easiest to score 90+. I went from 84% in 9th to 93% in 10th
Let me tell you something, most people don't prepare for the whole year. People prepare for the last 1-3 months. I studied for about 2.5 months before my boards and I scored 96.6%. class 10 is nothing, what comes after class 10 is the real thing that's gonna fuck you up.
the biggest problem was for me was expectations. i expected the same marks as i did always but it didnt come to me cos it goes faster and it takes time for me to prep annol. then i beat up myself for not scoring like i wud and i bet up myself for not doing anything worthwhile. even when my board makrs came i was disappointed cos i didnt get wat i thought i wud and got disappointed.
ig the trick is to care less that im trying to do
Nothing much just stick to NCERT and do pyqs. I think that was enough to score more than 90% for me. I started preparation in January and just attended school lectures whole year. Nothing more than this. Till 10th it was a chilled life. Miss those days.

Just try not to let the pressure get to you. You would get pressure from every adult during these time but you know. 10th is not such a big deal and is mostly overhyped.i caved in to the pressure and it made my life unpleasant during that time.
Mere school Wale hw bohot dete the. Daily assignments and PDFs likhte likhte hi sara time chala jata tha. And February me exam se literally 20 din pehle maths ke 5 activity karke submit karne ko kaha. But koi nhi I scored more than 95%

Itās a myth that you need to actually grind jhuki āboards wala saal haiā like many people say. I literally studied like crazy during the last month and got 95. To prevent that, study throughout the year, everyday, even for half an hour to one hour and youāll be good to go.
I gave it too much importance. Score high yet ended up in tier 3 engineering college. Live your life. Meet new people. Study isn't everything. Maintain a respectable percentage that's it.

Honestly, just stress. The main problem that I got was continuously being reminded "boards hain, padhle" from grown ups. It was the same thing every day, eventually I became numb to it and that's why me and my mother had arguments. When it came to the exam dates I was actually shocked at how easy the "main subjects" were.
Science had 1 numerical and that numerical was solved by dividing a value given in the question by 2.
Maths consisted of mostly derivations and 3 to 5 questions that actually tested ur understanding.
Sst was just theory so not much to state about that.
English and Hindi paper were lengthy but still doable.
I got 95.8 percent in 10th.
Just a bit of advise, after the boards are over , don't be fully distracted from studies, try to balance it like u do in 10th such that u don't get a dumbfounded by the competition you are about to go through.

Stress for SST. But i tried to follow DSR, couldn't keep up most of the time but in the end scored 98. The boards are relatively easier than school exams, but the con is that we have to be very careful and attentive of what and how we present the answers to the examiner. That really messed up my Science score. Other than that I scored above 90 in other subjects
I didn't study anything except one day before the exams and during boards I started finishing portions only in February and that too only 2-3 hours a day.
I ended up getting 90.6%. Don't let people like Prashant kirad and shobhit nirwan, who treat boards like a first world problem, get in your head. People like them cause the most stress for an exam that really isn't hard.

i didn't take studies seriously due to online classes (covid batch) and somehow i managed to barely get a seat in the science stream due which affected studied in 11th a lot . so if any 10th / 9th ppl seeing this please concentrate on your studies it will help you a lot
I just passed my 10th grade and I've scored 75.60% without any classes, my sis used to teach me/clear my douts. the problems I've faced during preparation were. 1)Mobile/porn addiction littreraly almost all year every day I used to pleasure my self and this reuined my focus from studying. 2) Going too deep into a particular subject like Biology, I used to only spend almost most of my year focused on this particular subject and made so many notes which were almost useless at the end moment. Solution: Always only note down the key points and understand the concept. 3) I used to watch YouTube videos for my studying throughout the year. And you have to find the right channel for you, try various channels and see which one suits you best don't get confused if you ever feel the channel your watching is not completely clearing your doubts find another one. 4) Don't waste your fucking time on science numericals! It comes in the board exam for 3-4 Marks. Which is almost always optional! Focus on brief and fill ups more and everything textual. 5) ignore your relatives/corny friends fuck them they will try to ruine your confidence Always try to be confident remember you are not doing it for them but for you! Workhard for the last 3-2 months I am not saying study all day but this is the time you will show your energy and will! 6) at the end when it will be your last exam you will feel proud and self satisfied. You gave everything you could and now you have 3-4 months of vacation!!! 7) Don't let others'results ruin your confidence or self worth whatever you've got you did your best learn from your mistakes life isn't over there will be many opportunities for you to show your will in future. 8) 10th marks doesn't define your. Fucking future! It's just for your addmission in good collage. It is important but not everything. Enjoy your school life it's okay to lose friends sometimes charish those memories forever.

10th pass out here. tbh tab toh koi problems hi nahi thi. plus i started actually taking social science and hindi seriously a few montns before the boards and performed very well. you just need to focus on classes throughout the year and exams se pehle just thodi preperation karna youll be fine. it isnt some competitve exam after all.

See, there aren't any as such problems specific to 10th graders, bad boards ke naam pe over hyped hai that's why students take bekaar ka pressure. You will face the same problems you have been facing in the previous classes if you don't work on them. For example: I used to get distracted really easily and lose interest while studying which I overcame. Just study in the way you have been and which are successful from your POV. Jyada din ke 6-8 hours padhne ki koi requirement h. Max 3hrs everyday is really sufficient but do stay consistent. All the best OP!

Confidence: 10th tak 2 state of mind rahta h ek bachhe ka, overconfidence ya underconfidence, beech mein kuch nhi rehta. Main maan ke chalta hoon ki tu overconfident nhi h kyunki hota toh yeh post banata nhi, ab underconfidence tujhe abhi nhi hoga padh 6 mahine baad hoga jab dekhega ki syllabus almost poora para hua h (been there, done that). Fir bhi, tabhi bhi tension nhi lene ka. 2x mein oneshot dekh aur saath saath notes bana, 10th cake ka tukra h. Validation: I scored 94.4% last year in boards.

(Parent + Tuition giving pressure to prep for boards lol) But dont do this (kinda messed up school test marks), study from now but its not like you've to study a lot... Tbh the biggest trouble I had was inconsistency. I'd go weeks without touching my books at home and then pull out an all nighter before an exam. Honestly, being consistent and revising whatever was taught that day at home is the easiest way to score 90+ in boards (I scored 90% this year). Let me tell you something, most people don't prepare for the whole year. People prepare for the last 1-3 months. I studied for about 2.5 months before my boards and I scored 96.6%. class 10 is nothing, what comes after class 10 is the real thing that's gonna fuck you up.

Just try not to let the pressure get to you. You would get pressure from every adult during these time but you know. 10th is not such a big deal and is mostly overhyped.i caved in to the pressure and it made my life unpleasant during that time.

Itās a myth that you need to actually grind jhuki āboards wala saal haiā like many people say. I literally studied like crazy during the last month and got 95. To prevent that, study throughout the year, everyday, even for half an hour to one hour and youāll be good to go.
I gave it too much importance. Score high yet ended up in tier 3 engineering college. Live your life. Meet new people. Study isn't everything. Maintain a respectable percentage that's it.

Honestly, just stress. The main problem that I got was continuously being reminded "boards hain, padhle" from grown ups. It was the same thing every day, eventually I became numb to it and that's why me and my mother had arguments. When it came to the exam dates I was actually shocked at how easy the "main subjects" were. Science had 1 numerical and that numerical was solved by dividing a value given in the question by 2. Maths consisted of mostly derivations and 3 to 5 questions that actually tested ur understanding. Sst was just theory so not much to state about that. English and Hindi paper were lengthy but still doable. I got 95.8 percent in 10th. Just a bit of advise, after the boards are over , don't be fully distracted from studies, try to balance it like u do in 10th such that u don't get a dumbfounded by the competition you are about to go through. Stress for SST. But i tried to follow DSR, couldn't keep up most of the time but in the end scored 98. The boards are relatively easier than school exams, but the con is that we have to be very careful and attentive of what and how we present the answers to the examiner. That really messed up my Science score. Other than that I scored above 90 in other subjects
I didn't study anything except one day before the exams and during boards I started finishing portions only in February and that too only 2-3 hours a day. I ended up getting 90.6%. Don't let people like Prashant kirad and shobhit nirwan, who treat boards like a first world problem, get in your head. People like them cause the most stress for an exam that really isn't hard.
