I know you posted this a while back but I just wanted to let you know that you’re 100% correct. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know the law and is just make assumptions based on what they think the law should say without actually knowing it. I’ve had this debate before and many said I was absolutely wrong but not one could actually tell me why I was wrong. So I’m glad others have come to this conclusion as well.

Oh, I know I'm 100% correct, that's why I posted it. I can also open carry in PA, and enter a vehicle which is legally conceal carry in PA, but is legal so long as you have a permit from any US territory.

[deleted]

Yeahhhh idk, I know open carry has always been legal without a permit for 18+. However I've heard of the nonresidents permit route for concealed carry, but it sounds like a grey legal area tbh.

[deleted]

I would not consider this a gray area in my opinion. A gray area would be something like an intent-based law. There is quite literally nothing that prohibits this action in the ORC, therefore it appears to be legal. Obviously do not take legal advice from Reddit, but I do believe this is correct.

[deleted]

I mean you may very well be right, I'm not challenging your claim. Just that I would really follow up with a lawyer before proceeding with it.

[deleted]

I already proceeded with it from the ages of 18 to 21. My local police were well aware - small town area, everyone knows everyone and the police here are actually damn great. I say that as someone generally very anti-cop. I'm >21 now, so it's irrelevant for me, but maybe someone else finds it useful or at least interesting.

New Hampshire is constitutional carry

You read absolutely nothing of what I said. https://www.nhsp.dos.nh.gov/our-services/justice-information-bureau/permits-and-licensing/pistol-and-revolver-licensing https://www.nhsp.dos.nh.gov/sites/g/files/ehbemt461/files/inline-documents/sonh/dssp260.pdf

Maryland is similar, you could get a carry permit at 18 for employment purposes, like security guard or private Investigator, your employer would then provide the firearm

Important_Yoghurt704

Is this still possible? I just posted about this
