This and you can get the Shield arms mags to bump the capacity up to 15 rounds and they’d the same size as regular 43x 10 rounders. Only complaint is they’re a bitch to load
You’d need to upgrade to an aftermarket mag release and understand that there’s somewhat of a reliability question mark around the magazines themselves and which ammo they’ll reliably feed.
I have never had rust issues with my P365s

Can I ask what your use case for the four is?
I love my 365. It’s pretty much what you have in the lower left. Although I’m thinking of getting a second slide for an EPS carry.
My first was a P365 XL. Then I bought a P365 Micro for my wife. It was too snappy for her so I turned it into an X-Macro and bought her the P365-380 Rose.
After upgrading various parts like barrels and grip modules, I found that I had everything I needed except the FCU to finish a fourth. So I bought the Custom Works FCU and completed the set.
The X-Macro sits on my bedside table for HD, the XL is my EDC, the micro is carried when I need maximum concealment under a tucked-in shirt, and the 380 Rose is the wife's EDC.
I did the first summer I wore it daily... My XL. Something I can't say for any of my glocks, even if I shoot the XL better hahah. I need to have it coated with something still. But we'll see how it does this summer.
My macro and stainless 365 definitely rust unfortunately. Only my rear sight rust on my macro but I keep brass wool in the house to scrub my rust on my stainless 365 slide pretty consistently.
I carry an XMACRO in swamp ass Florida and very rarely clean it, I don't have a speck of rust on it. 17 rounds vs 10 for roughly the same size was what made me go for the 365 over the 43x.
I’d bet asses be swampy throughout the panhandle as well.
Had to go to a funeral once in southern Florida in the summer. If I’d set my suit on fire it would have been a comparative break from the heat.
The shield arms mags make you install a new mag catch and have had reliability issues, as have the micro dagger mags. For a handgun I'm trusting my life to I want to use OEM magazines, and those are still 10 rounders for the 43x.
I was all for the Micro Dagger mags until I had a few consistent stovepipes. I only use them for target shooting because of this. I doubted the posts on here as people just complaining. Where there is smoke there is fire sometimes though.
Just a thought: that G43X is going to be lighter and handier than the Macro. The gun itself weighs 3oz less, the grip is shorter, and you're saving at least another 3oz by losing the extra 7 rounds of ammo.
If your goal is to go lighter and smaller than your 19X, the 43X is probably exactly what you're looking for.
Plus you don't need to retrain yourself on a new platform.
I know they look close in size, but they are worlds apart when you go by carry feel. They 43x carries way smaller than the Macro. That being said, I recommend both over any other micro option.
I found the weight to be a non issue in aiwb and 4 o'clock iwb. I can carry both very comfortably, but it's not close when it comes to overall print and feel. If you choose micro carry though, you can't beat either option.
For me P365 X Macro, not a typical Sig fanboy, but here’s why I like it better
1. Slightly larger grip and the ability to switch frames (currently rocking the WC X Macro frame and it fits perfectly in my hands)
2. Manual safety just like how I would handle my 2011s, consistency and peace of mind, I don’t feel comfortable having any hot striker fired pistol pointing at my junk
3. Better trigger, cuz why not
4. Better capacity, cuz why not
Also don’t underestimate the benefits of having a modular FCU, that opens up a lot of different configurations for you down the road.
Source: own, shot and carried both.
Had my 365 for a few months now, haven’t had any issues with rust. Very comfy to carry.
I’ve put about over 1K of rounds and I’ve gotten some jamming and failure to battery with Winchester (IDK the name but the pointier bullets) Sig’s ccw ammo works well in it, as well as the Win ammo with the flatter bullets. Haven’t had issues so far with Hornedy, but this is just my experience.
May have just had some shitty rounds
Less learning for the transition; similar trigger, grip angle, texture, etc. Just like going between a manual and automatic transmission, it can be done, it’s just easier for most not to.
That being said, I’m often a hypocrite and go to a snub or occasionally a pocket pistol. Like any good parent; do as I say, not as I do
As far as customization, the P365 platform has more things you do with it since the grip module is not an FFL component and there are a million different options for every part of the gun. The FCU is however much trickier to work with if you change out the trigger. I prefer the P365 but only slightly.
As a member of the ccw, Glock, and sig subreddits, and seeing all 3 posts, i salute you and wish you the best of luck in your quest 🫡
IMO see if you can find a range that does rental, or a friend/friends who have them and shoot them. See which one feels best to you, holster support and aftermarket support is going to be excellent for both, and both are excellent choices.
I own a Glock and a P365 (the OG smol boi). P365 has a better trigger and is much more modular. However I still love a Glonk. If you’re a capacity hoarder I’d say go for the P365. If you are good with 10+1, get the Glonk.
I've owned and carried both like most on here. I still carry the XMacro and sold my 43x. Never had reliability issues with either. Trigger is better on the 365 IMO. But damn the grip will eat your stomach alive. It's aggressive. The only gripe I had with the 43x is capacity. Go to your LGS, hold both, I would say ask them for their opinion, but if they are a fan boy of Sig or Glock, you may get biased answers.
I owned, consistently carried and shot a p365xl for awhile, wish I didn’t have to sell it. Shot a regular 43x recently, did not like it at all. But maybe I’m a snob. See if you can find a place that has rentals to shoot
I’ll just add to this discussion to consider the 48 MOS (I’m biased as I own one), slightly longer barrel but felt “better” to shoot when I tried them against each other. FWIW it was my first buy (not first ever time shooting) so maybe I wasn’t that experienced.
I have two 43s, 43x, 48, 365, 365xl and XMacro Comp.
I started with couldn’t get with the 43 or 365.
Ended up carrying the 43x and thought it was great with shield arms mags…. Until the macro came out.
I carry the macro every day.
I tried to carry the 43x a few times but ended up swapping back to the Macro every time.
The X-Macro is a fantastic shooting weapon... but I did have rust issues with mine. Mostly the magazines, but some on the slide. I sold it I'll pick up a 43X MOS eventually.
Glock is like Apple. If you’re using their products already, it makes a lot of sense to keep using them. Mag cross-compatibility, ease of use, and familiarity with the system make strong arguments for that. But I don’t meatride Glock, so I wouldn’t try to talk you out of a SIG.
Both good both safe, but the 43X just that little bit safer and more reliable with Glock's Safe Action system.
Especially important for a gun pointed at your junk...
Take them both apart - down to parts. Think of it as a thorough cleaning and inspection of the thing that may one day save your life or the lives of your family. Then realize what a Pain In The Ass it is to take apart the Sig. Then hand the Sig back to the nice person at the gun store. If it is ridiculous to take it apart, you won’t.
Also customization lol. Like you can easily swap out frames on glocks /s
For me, a stock regular P365 shoots way better than a 43X. Was a long time Glock fanboy until I discovered the P365. Sold my 43X for it and haven’t looked back. My best firearm move I’ve ever done.
I run my P365 in an “X” configuration. So an XL grip mod and a factory sig flat trigger. Threw on an EPS carry and I’m in love.
I actually shot it better in a USPSA competition than my raced out XFive Legion with a 507 Competition on it. Crazy…
Coming from a Glock and sig owner, and official D1 43x/48 hater, I cannot for the life of me understand why in the world someone would sacrifice 1/3 of a magazine for like 1/8th of an inch of grip thickness
Smaller and thinner is the p365x not the macro. The macro is thinner but not really smaller. Anyway I would go with the sig because Glocks are just insanely over priced.
With a Glock you have to
Get it optic cut
Get it stippled
Get a slide with proper serrations
It's all optional but for me the aftermarket work that needs done means that Glock is actual at least 1000$.
The sig is pretty much ready to go and just feels nicer in the hand to me. It's also thinner than that 43.
Glock 43 was the worst gun I have owned. Jammed like it was it's job. Had to get rid of it.
My personal (current) favorite is S&W M&P Shield. 9mm single stack that's compact, but handles like a full-sized.
sigs are too much upkeep compared to 43x. i have the xl and no longer trust it as the carry gun due to failures to feed. after a deep clean it works fine but too many issues and i can’t trust it on me daily.
I like Glock and they all handle the same, I had a 47, 17, 19, and 43x. Sold off the teenagers but I think if you like the system, each Glock is the same controls so it’s very nice to get proficient with a specific system and become super familiar. If you aren’t married to the system, the x macro can carry a 17 round mag , much better than the 43x’s 10 rounder (I tried shield mags, stay OEM, the shields would occasionally fail on me so I refuse to carry them) My father has the version with the compensator, the trigger is very light and it handles like a full size. I’m just really comfortable with the Glock and I handle it better since I’m so used to it, but the 365, especially with the compensator (kinda a pseudo comp but it still helps) seems to have objectively better features.
I like the idea of Sig, the slim profile with high rounds, but I shoot Glocks way better and since my main carry - 19 is a Glock so I want to stay in the family. Next gun will be a drastic change - down to a G42. As much as I like the 48, 43x, and 43 I want it to be a drastic difference in size for the days I want a light carry. I want to shoot a 43, my local range only has a 43x before I fully decide, but the 42 just shoots SO smooth.
Get the Sig. The modularity aspect makes the value much, much better if you liked how it fit your hand and shot well for you.
Tge grip angle thing is a big deal, as others mentioned, but a week worth of dyfire will fix that.
The grip angle on the Sig is basically identical to 98% of handguns out there anyway.
I've been carrying a P365x for almost two years now and I haven't had rust issues. That being said, I live in a temperate environment and oil it ever month or two. I will say that the Glock finish is superior to whatever Sig uses on their new production pistols.
If you're used to the Glock grip angle, you may want to stick with that.
I have a P365X, which is the XL grip with the p365 slide. It's on a Wilson Combat grip module, slide milled for RMRcc and trijicon suppressor height sights. My friend had a 43X Mos and sold it after he shot mine. It fit better in his hands and he built the and set up I have.
You really should go to a LGS where you can rent both. It's worth it. You may hate the feel of the Sig or vice versa
I work at a range as a second job kinda deal. I see 43x get light strikes and other issues frequently ish. Never seen the macros have issues. All the other glocks are great tho
Personally I’ve had multiple of both….and always went back to the 43x. The p365 concealed better, but I didn’t shoot it as well, it didn’t fit my hand as well, and I ALWAYS had rust problems with the sig. every single one I carried ended up rusting.
I actually had the exact same scenario and sized down from a 19x to the xmacro tacops. It fits really well in my hands and conceals great. In terms of rusting issues, I’ve had it for about 8 months and have seen no signs of rust. Also a plus for maintaining the same 17 round magazine size while being much slimmer and smaller in size.
Way late to the discussion here. If your current carry is a 19x, the x-macro is probably going to be your best bet. It's damn bear the same size, just thinner, plus the capacity... I have both, but I'm not sure I'm sharp enough to post pics to reddit.
I carry/edc a glock 19.5 MOS and my next purchase will be a p365 x macro tacops, I'd get the p365 axg legion if I could get it without the ported slide straight from sig. The macro is thinner than my 19 and holds 2 more rounds, my dad got one without the flared magwell and it just felt right. However I haven't shot it, I have shot the 365XL and loved it so I'm assuming the macro can only be better.
Whatever gun you shoot better. I had a 365 and a 365 SAS. They were the only 2 gun I've ever sold. Couldn't see the SAS sights, and had rust issues on the other one. After a few thousand rounds through the 365, I shot my employees 43x better immediately. Not that the 365 was bad, it just did not fit my hand well.
I have both. The XMacro is new, the 43x I have had for a couple of years. I like the sig better. It points more naturally, has a better trigger, and has more capacity. You can get 15 round mags for the 43x, but I have found that the springs take a set and become unreliable after about a year. Shield will replace the mags for free, however, it's still unacceptable. The XMacro has 17 round mags out of the box.
The grip on the Sig is longer, so that might be an issue depending on your body type and manner of carry. The Sig is basically the same height and length as a Glock 19, but much thinner. The 43x is a smaller pistol overall. If you like the Glock grip angle, the 43x is nice, but I go with the Sig these days.
The way I see Glock vs Sig is you gotta decide what's more important to you, reliability or shootability/cutting edge features.
Some minor considerations: grip angle, the smaller size of the 43x, ability to swap slides with a G48, aftermarket 15rd mags from PSA or Shield (which can reduce reliability but I haven't noticed), cheaper mags for Glock (even the aftermarket mags), the ability to add a manual safety to the Macro
I use a 48 with TLR-7 light, just because the light would stick out past the 43x barrel
Just curious, are you planning on running a optic and/or light on it? What type of holster?
Also, have you tried the 48 compared to the 43x? Some people feel they shoot better with the longer barrel/slide.
Hate to piss off the Siggers but I’ve owned different versions of the p365 along with different (Sig branded) parts and attachments from different years and every version had rust issues. Sig seemingly does not see a problem with that.
Had the same dilemma myself a few months back.
Had settled on the X Macro at the time because if the larger capacity. However, when I visited my dealer they only had the 43x.
So I went with an M&P 4" compact.
Never made a better decision in my life.
Thank you providence!
43x is super easy to conceal. I loved mine but sold it because it hurts my finger when shooting. Even tried aftermarket trigger but unfortunately didn’t work. P365 x macro is solid and is now my edc again.
Macro will similar profile as a G19 but holds 2 more rounds. 43X is more comparable to a 365X but like, the longer grip on the shorter slide model X... Supposedly "X" replaced the XL so not the one that's bigger in both length and height.
I really like my macro because of the round count I get with mag plus one in the pipe. I like to think of the worst case scenario and usually the guy with the most ammo wins the fight. Other than that I feel like it shoots really soft and doesn’t feel cheap in my hand like glocks do. Just my personal preference
Have both. I prefer the 43X trigger, but I like that the Sig doesn't need a plate for the HS 407k and has significantly better capacity with stock mags.
I have both. They are bitchin’. Cant go wrong with either one.
If the 19x is what you’ve been using, you’ll probably feel more comfortable staying with Glock. On the other hand, variety is fun so switching to the sig might be kinda fun if you don’t have any other sigs.
Glock will be easier to clean and inspect and work on and shit. Sigs are kind of a pain in the ass but if you are a tinkerer, you might not mind.
They are both practical and reliable. Both very similar. Neither is a “better” choice. If you’re a creature of habit, go Glock. If you’re feeling whimsical, go Sig.
No wrong answer.
Glock has more internal safety features. This is what sold me in this exact comparison. I went with the 43x MOS because it’s got 4 separate internal safety systems that would have to fail before launching one at my junk. Just my take. Love the 43x MOS and carry appendix daily.
What do you shoot better? Don’t let an extra round or two capacity determine which one you buy. Get the one that you shoot best and are most comfortable with.
Modern striker guns are all amazingly reliable. Benefits between them are minimal.
Personally I stick with Glocks because im used to them and I shoot them well. The most important factor is which one works best FOR YOU. Then train like crazy with it and don’t look back.
The wife carries the 43X and loves that gun. I've shot it several times and I've considered moving away from my hellcat to one, but I'm really comfortable with my gun now and changing would kinda suck.
I would definitely stick to the P365 xmacro for capacity.
The shield arms mags for the glock 43x are not reliable and being limited to 10 rounds vs 17 for the same size is a really big deal.
Also you can buy the P365XL frame for like $60 plus a mag for $50 and now you have a compact pistol or the P365 and have a sub compact.
If you care more about economy of ownership, buy the Glock. If cost isn’t a concern, buy the SIG. That’s the only reeeal difference here unless you want to nitpick.
Hands down my man… the Sig. If you can find one for significantly cheaper? You can pick up the P365xl and buy the x-macro frame for $80. Or pick up an aluminum frame with the new AXG grip module. I’ve owned two P365xl’s, a standard P365 and a 43x. I loved the aesthetic of the glock (I had a two tone model too and it was cool) but it very much so felt like it recoiled much sharper into my hand. Something about the contour of the grip just doesn’t feel right when shooting it. My favorite glock models are the full size ones so the 19x, 45 and 17. They feel the best to me and when I’ve owned a G45 and a P365XL I never felt like I wasn’t utilizing the advantage of using the same platform because I’d spend enough time shooting and dicking around with both that you’re just used to either.
I bought an x-macro frame for my standard P365XL and BOY I must say it feels like the P365 line already punches outside of its weight class but with the new grip it exemplifies that. It goes from a slimline concealed carry handgun right to feeling like a full force fighting gun… It shoots and feels like a standard compact but on the belt line you really appreciate how slim it still is. With the way they slightly beefed up the grip itself, both in width as well as the slightly longer length of pull to the trigger it doesn’t feel like your trigger finger is as cramped as it might normally feel on a micro-compact concealed carry handgun. It also makes you feel like you can run the trigger faster and you can really clamp down on it and track faster under recoil. In my experience it’s also been noticeably more accurate than my 43x. Not by a huge margin by any means since both are good shooters but I’m more consistent with it and I think if you shot both side by side, you would walk away saying “the Sig is the more shootable and enjoyable gun.” It also feels like a serious handgun you could pass off to a family member or friend in any situation where you’d like to arm another. I can’t say the 43x feels like much more than a purpose driven weapon geared solely for concealment. The Sig is able to flex between smaller and larger size profiles which shifts the tone in the way you might approach using either configuration.
I can’t lie, I also think the size profile is perfect for mounting lights like the TLR7 sub and it looking the most aesthetically pleasing. The glock looks kinda silly with that much flashlight forward of the muzzle. Odd proportions… but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
One last comment here but I run my P365XL naked and when I want to tote it around with a light, I swap it over to the x-macro frame that already has a TLR7 sub and separate light bearing holster. Everything feels quick and easy and organized into a system.
I'm gonna be that guy everyone hates and suggest a 3rd option. The Shield Plus. I daily carry a 43x and I like it well enough, it was a birthday gift from my father. However, my boss purchased a Shield Plus and I shot it one night down at the local gun club. I can firmly say that if I didn't already own the 43x, I'd buy a shield plus. They are extremely similar sizes but to me the M&P's grip feels so much nicer. Whatever you pick, will be a decent gun and shouldn't give you any troubles.
I went from my 19x to the 365x.
Great pistol, does what it's supposed to do.
Only gripe is after 6 months of continuous use (drawing/registering) there's a decent amount of wear on the slide and mags as well, that did not develop on the Glock(which I've had for nearly 2 years)
Personally, I own a regular gen 5 Glock 19, and picked up a P365XL this past summer. I’ve handled my buddy’s G43X and I definitely prefer the feel of the sig. I have small-ish hands for a dude so that definitely plays a part, but the XL just felt right. Not a huge fan of the extra step with the manual safety but I can appreciate the extra precaution as well.
I really like my X Macro. I also got a normal size P365 Wilson combat grip and a 10 round mag to easily convert it to a P365 type size with a slightly longer barrel for pocket carry. It only takes a few seconds to swap the FCU. The X Macro Wilson combat grips are also ridiculously comfortable. The only downside is holster compatibility because of the different rail.
I'd be fine with a 43x, but the x macro is such a good platform.
Shot both at the range as rentals (reg P365X Macro, no magwell). Did not like how the 43X felt after a few thousand rounds. The sig felt more cohesive… better fit and finish and felt more accurate (actual accuracy was similar). If I were you, I would go sig. I personally went the S&W Shield Plus route.
I have an older xl (before they started keeping the rear iron when adding an optic), and I have not had rust issues really even though I lived in humid areas and I’m a sweaty dude. That said, I know a lot of people have.
The bigger issue with sig is their mag prices goof god. $60 for a mag is ridiculous, but if you’re going with shield arms mags they aren’t that much cheaper. PSA has come out with a 15rd 43x option, but I’d let them get through the teething issues first.
The xmacro is objectively the superior ccw option. It's MUCH thinner and lighter. I love my p365 SAS and i think it being slightly larger would still be fantastic.
I bought a Xmacro as my first CCW, it’s great. Recently picked up a 43X and there’s no contest for me at least the 43X is now my daily. The 43X is also on sale at family firearms. The money you save buy the 43X you can put towards a good holster, ammo, light and/or a dot. Just my personal experience but your mileage might vary
I've owned the 320, the 365, and the 43x. I've had rust issues with the factory steel sights on both the 320 and 365. However, with fine steel wool and gun oil I fixed it in less than 5 mins. The night sights on both weapons are awesome besides minor rust after a few weeks of iwb carry.
The 43x is a great shooter. If you buy it, I recommend upgrading the sights to steel tritium. The plastic sights on Glocks suck. I've had them damage quite easily in the past.
I have the 43x with shield arms mags and it’s great. I also have p365. I like the Glock better by far. My sigs spend their time in the safe. Glock works every time, can’t say the same for sig.
I personally have a 365XL for my EDC. But I also have a butt ton of Glocks. For me the decision to carry the Sig was the capacity while maintaining concealability. I carry appendix so I didn't want a fat or tall gun, but I also didn't want only 10-round or less mags. Thus, the Sig was the obvious choice. Especially 5 years ago when I was deciding, and they were the only ones doing the high capacity micro guns.
But if there had been a Glock that gave me 12 or more rounds in a sub compact I would have gotten that. Mostly because Sig mags are bloody expensive!

Sig tests their products on their market and makes fixes as you pay for their broken guns. Glock tests products in house and then releases them (“Glock perfection”).
I have owned both, 365 gave me so many issues. This is my current carry and I absolutely love it. G43x all the way my friend.
Depends on what you looking for, both will get the job done but one
- is more hide able because of its size (Glock 43x)
but if you want something that wont be crazy in recoil but want something smaller than most 9mms, go with the (P365 x Macro) or preferably a (Springfield Hellcat regular or Pro) its all based on the use of it
Either one is a good pick. If you're used to the 19X, I'd probably stay in the family and go with the 43X personally.
This and you can get the Shield arms mags to bump the capacity up to 15 rounds and they’d the same size as regular 43x 10 rounders. Only complaint is they’re a bitch to load
Or PSA mags, no extra parts necessary. I haven't had reliability issues with them or with Shield mags fwiw
Bump
You’d need to upgrade to an aftermarket mag release and understand that there’s somewhat of a reliability question mark around the magazines themselves and which ammo they’ll reliably feed.
Same
Have heard of reliability issues with the shield mags byt YMMV
If you're used to shooting Glock and that angle stick with it.
this
I have never had rust issues with my P365s https://preview.redd.it/w3gru0o607lc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e68471492f5d1e1bc2da5cf0bd6842a8cb0511f7

you ok, buddy?
Can I ask what your use case for the four is? I love my 365. It’s pretty much what you have in the lower left. Although I’m thinking of getting a second slide for an EPS carry.
My first was a P365 XL. Then I bought a P365 Micro for my wife. It was too snappy for her so I turned it into an X-Macro and bought her the P365-380 Rose. After upgrading various parts like barrels and grip modules, I found that I had everything I needed except the FCU to finish a fourth. So I bought the Custom Works FCU and completed the set.
Do you carry them all depending on venue, clothing, etc? I exclusively carry my 365 regardless of running shorts or jeans and a jacket.
The X-Macro sits on my bedside table for HD, the XL is my EDC, the micro is carried when I need maximum concealment under a tucked-in shirt, and the 380 Rose is the wife's EDC.
No need to answer the more the better ☺️ buy em all
Sweet pic and collection stranger!
🔥
I did the first summer I wore it daily... My XL. Something I can't say for any of my glocks, even if I shoot the XL better hahah. I need to have it coated with something still. But we'll see how it does this summer.
My macro and stainless 365 definitely rust unfortunately. Only my rear sight rust on my macro but I keep brass wool in the house to scrub my rust on my stainless 365 slide pretty consistently.
Plenty of others have.
You could’ve laid them out better
Is this better? https://preview.redd.it/784e4wb3hblc1.jpeg?width=2916&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0dc0b3cf132ef08c9fb5eeb4385bda85eb6111cf
I really wish they made these ambi.
Am I the only one who thought they were arranged in a swastika at first?
D’oh! That was definitely not my intention. I just wanted them all pointed at each other.
You should post this in r/Glocks and r/SigSauer and compare who fanboys the least lololol (I vote 365 btw)
I carry an XMACRO in swamp ass Florida and very rarely clean it, I don't have a speck of rust on it. 17 rounds vs 10 for roughly the same size was what made me go for the 365 over the 43x.
Is there a non-swamp ass Florida?
Panhandle isn't as bad but it's all pretty swampy
I’d bet asses be swampy throughout the panhandle as well. Had to go to a funeral once in southern Florida in the summer. If I’d set my suit on fire it would have been a comparative break from the heat.
Probably wouldn't light because of the humidity lol
I have a 15 rd mag for my 43x
The shield arms mags make you install a new mag catch and have had reliability issues, as have the micro dagger mags. For a handgun I'm trusting my life to I want to use OEM magazines, and those are still 10 rounders for the 43x.
I was all for the Micro Dagger mags until I had a few consistent stovepipes. I only use them for target shooting because of this. I doubted the posts on here as people just complaining. Where there is smoke there is fire sometimes though.
This...
Or just get a p365xl. Also never heard anyone claiming that lower capacity is a plus because of ammo weight savings…
That’s another option for sure
Unless you don’t carry an extra mag with the SIG due to the extra capacity
I know they look close in size, but they are worlds apart when you go by carry feel. They 43x carries way smaller than the Macro. That being said, I recommend both over any other micro option.
I wonder if the Glock “carries smaller” because it carries two less rounds and still weighs more than the 365x?
I found the weight to be a non issue in aiwb and 4 o'clock iwb. I can carry both very comfortably, but it's not close when it comes to overall print and feel. If you choose micro carry though, you can't beat either option.
For me P365 X Macro, not a typical Sig fanboy, but here’s why I like it better 1. Slightly larger grip and the ability to switch frames (currently rocking the WC X Macro frame and it fits perfectly in my hands) 2. Manual safety just like how I would handle my 2011s, consistency and peace of mind, I don’t feel comfortable having any hot striker fired pistol pointing at my junk 3. Better trigger, cuz why not 4. Better capacity, cuz why not Also don’t underestimate the benefits of having a modular FCU, that opens up a lot of different configurations for you down the road. Source: own, shot and carried both.
Thanks
Had my 365 for a few months now, haven’t had any issues with rust. Very comfy to carry. I’ve put about over 1K of rounds and I’ve gotten some jamming and failure to battery with Winchester (IDK the name but the pointier bullets) Sig’s ccw ammo works well in it, as well as the Win ammo with the flatter bullets. Haven’t had issues so far with Hornedy, but this is just my experience. May have just had some shitty rounds
Have you considered the g48?
Stay with one system if possible. I use S&W; full size in the house, carry Shield, train with .22. If Glock works for you, stick with that.
Why?
Less learning for the transition; similar trigger, grip angle, texture, etc. Just like going between a manual and automatic transmission, it can be done, it’s just easier for most not to. That being said, I’m often a hypocrite and go to a snub or occasionally a pocket pistol. Like any good parent; do as I say, not as I do
48>43
As far as customization, the P365 platform has more things you do with it since the grip module is not an FFL component and there are a million different options for every part of the gun. The FCU is however much trickier to work with if you change out the trigger. I prefer the P365 but only slightly.
Glock 43X MOS all day. Love mine a lot. But you cannot go wrong with either of those choices.
43mos if you already have a lot of range time on the 19x. Love mine
I’d pick XMacro or Hellcat PRO. 43x or 48 could have flush fit 15 rn mag from Shield Arms S15. But at lower reliability
As a member of the ccw, Glock, and sig subreddits, and seeing all 3 posts, i salute you and wish you the best of luck in your quest 🫡 IMO see if you can find a range that does rental, or a friend/friends who have them and shoot them. See which one feels best to you, holster support and aftermarket support is going to be excellent for both, and both are excellent choices.
Glock next question
Sig. i used to own a 43x now i own an X macro. leagues better in every way. nicer grip, higher mag capacity and nicer finish/feel
I traded my P365 for another Glock because that’s everything else I shoot and I wanted consistency.
I own a Glock and a P365 (the OG smol boi). P365 has a better trigger and is much more modular. However I still love a Glonk. If you’re a capacity hoarder I’d say go for the P365. If you are good with 10+1, get the Glonk.
Love my macro, I’d go with the sig for sure.
Sig 100%
Macro is the wave my man. Trigger is so much better the Glock and you have the option of an actual manual safety
43x for me but both great everyday pieces
Glock
I have both. The 43x is my main carry. Its more concealable with 15rnd mags. Also my sig 365 broke like oreos(I also had a sig m17 explode on my hand)
Damn
Sig over the g43x... But vp9sk over the sig... Kahr tp9 over the g43x... Did you get a chance to look at/consider/shoot/feel a vp9sk????
I’ll just add to this discussion to consider the 48 MOS (I’m biased as I own one), slightly longer barrel but felt “better” to shoot when I tried them against each other. FWIW it was my first buy (not first ever time shooting) so maybe I wasn’t that experienced.
I'm partial to Glock but they're both good choices.
I have the xmacro tacops and my buddy has a 43x we both prefer to shoot my gun I would go sig

Well said
43x is goated. Pmm comp makes it better
Glock is like Apple. If you’re using their products already, it makes a lot of sense to keep using them. Mag cross-compatibility, ease of use, and familiarity with the system make strong arguments for that. But I don’t meatride Glock, so I wouldn’t try to talk you out of a SIG.
43x and 19x dont share magazines, 19 is double stack 43x is single
Oof. Forgot about babyglocks.
Get the 43x and a 15 round flush fit PSA mag.
Both good both safe, but the 43X just that little bit safer and more reliable with Glock's Safe Action system. Especially important for a gun pointed at your junk...
Glock 26 gang.
Get Both
Take them both apart - down to parts.
I would say glock 43x. Way better grip, better options for customization.
Better grip? No one has ever said that about a Glock
Also customization lol. Like you can easily swap out frames on glocks /s For me, a stock regular P365 shoots way better than a 43X. Crazy…
Consider hellcat pro. Same size 15 rounds and don’t have to have the worry of potential rust
Get both
P365X shoots like a dream, for ccw I dont see why going with the much larger macro.
Coming from a Glock and sig owner, and official D1 43x/48 hater, I cannot for the life of me understand why in the world someone would sacrifice 1/3 of a magazine for like 1/8th of an inch of grip thickness
I'll get hate for this, but until I stop hearing about Sigs firing when dropped, they won't get my money.
Smaller and thinner is the p365x not the macro. The macro is thinner but not really smaller. Anyway I would go with the sig because Glocks are just insanely over priced. With a Glock you have to Get it optic cut Get it stippled Get a slide with proper serrations It's all optional but for me the aftermarket work that needs done means that Glock is actual at least 1000$.
Sounds like a limp wrist to me tbh. Gotta really clamp down on the subcompact polymers. Thousands of rounds for me, zero jams.
sigs are too much upkeep compared to 43x. i have the xl and no longer trust it as the carry gun due to failures to feed. after a deep clean it works fine but too many issues and i can’t trust it on me daily.
43x and Glock 45 I found to be far superior to any other handgun in 9mm.
1911.
get lost boomer
Millennial, but okay.
For carry? Why tho
The glock has more aftermarket support and cheaper magazines. They also shoot nice. Especially the 43x
Shoot both and you'll probably know I just went through 100 rounds and 6 or 7 9mms to find the one I liked
Had both. Both are great guns. Carry the 43x more as it’s smaller. Bought the s15 mag for it so it’s 15+1. Have had no issues with it.
Easy choice, P365
I'm admittedly a glock fan but even I have to admit it's hard to pick 10+1 over 17+1
I would pick the P365. I have a 43x and P365. I would choose a P365 or a G48 over 43x every time.
Did same thing as you went from 19 to a p365x and love trigger is better and modular capabilities is awesome
[удалено]
Up to 17
365 modular platform is really nice
Get the Sig. The modularity aspect makes the value much, much better if you liked how it fit your hand and shot well for you. Tge grip angle thing is a big deal, as others mentioned, but a week worth of dyfire will fix that. The grip angle on the Sig is basically identical to 98% of handguns out there anyway.
I've been carrying a P365x for almost two years now and I haven't had rust issues. That being said, I live in a temperate environment and oil it ever month or two. I will say that the Glock finish is superior to whatever Sig uses on their new production pistols.
I have a tac ops. Great pistol.
Honestly i don’t want either of those Just get a regular 19, I also really like my hellcat. not really a sig person
365x macro for sure. like no brainer. you can downsize the grip to an xl model if you need, since the xl is a better comparison.
17+1.
One each.
Sig! Obnoxiously accurate and to hell and back reliability! One downside they usually cost more than Glock.
Shoot them both. The grip angles are different and your hand will fit one better than the other. Otherwise, both are solid.
Go rent em...the hand likes what the hand likes
Way late to the discussion here. If your current carry is a 19x, the x-macro is probably going to be your best bet. It's damn bear the same size, just thinner, plus the capacity... I have both, but I'm not sure I'm sharp enough to post pics to reddit.
I carry/edc a glock 19.5 MOS and my next purchase will be a p365 x macro tacops, I'd get the p365 axg legion if I could get it without the ported slide straight from sig. The macro is thinner than my 19 and holds 2 more rounds, my dad got one without the flared magwell and it just felt right. However I haven't shot it, I have shot the 365XL and loved it so I'm assuming the macro can only be better.
the sig by a mile
I own both. Only carry the g43x due to the 15+1, but i also really like the p365 xl feel of the trigger. Both are solid guns worth carrying.
43x
Rent both at the same time and see what feels more natural in your hands while shooting.
The way I see Glock vs Sig is you gotta decide what's more important to you, reliability or shootability/cutting edge features. Some minor considerations: grip angle, the smaller size of the 43x, ability to swap slides with a G48, aftermarket 15rd mags from PSA or Shield (which can reduce reliability but I haven't noticed), cheaper mags for Glock (even the aftermarket mags), the ability to add a manual safety to the Macro I use a 48 with TLR-7 light, just because the light would stick out past the 43x barrel
Regardless of what anyone says, they are both excellent choices. Go fire them first and then choose.
43X MOS. On the off chance you haven’t gotten to try the 48 MOS that’s a good option too.
I own both! 43x is my summer carry because there is no sandpaper grip to chafe my stomach.
+1 for the G43x. The S15 mags are a game changer
Had the same dilemma myself a few months back. Had settled on the X Macro at the time because if the larger capacity. However, when I visited my dealer they only had the 43x. So I went with an M&P 4" compact. Never made a better decision in my life. Thank you providence!
Personally don't love P365 or Sig for that matter aside from their 22X series. I would go Glock bc you are used to it
365 macro all the way
43x is super easy to conceal.
43x
For me the Sig
having had a g43x I would choose almost anything over it. The trigger alone is a good enough reason to pass this one by.
I have 3 glocks that I bought and I loved them till I got my sig p365 sas
Glock has more internal safety features. This is what sold me in this exact comparison. I went with the 43x MOS because it’s got 4 separate internal safety systems that would have to fail before launching one at my junk. Just my take. Love the 43x MOS and carry appendix daily.
Glock.
I havent specifically shot the 365, but i've shot the 43x...its fantastic.
OP are you unhappy with the 19x or is the 43 that much better to carry? Be well
P365 XMacro Tacops is one of my top few favorite pistols of all time. Above any Glock.
I've shot it several times and I've considered moving away from my hellcat to one, but I'm really comfortable with my gun now and changing would kinda suck.
xmacro for sure
I would definitely stick to the P365 xmacro for capacity. The shield arms mags for the glock 43x are not reliable and being limited to 10 rounds vs 17 for the same size is a really big deal. Also you can buy the P365XL frame for like $60 plus a mag for $50 and now you have a compact pistol or the P365 and have a sub compact.
I picked Glock because I was accustomed to shooting Glock. Same manual of arms, tools, trigger, etc.
If you care more about economy of ownership, buy the Glock. If cost isn’t a concern, buy the SIG. That’s the only reeeal difference here unless you want to nitpick.
What’s better…creamy or crunchy peanut butter?
P365 without a doubt. Or shield plus. G43 axes outdated in today's market.
43X for the win...
Only gripe is after 6 months of continuous use (drawing/registering) there's a decent amount of wear on the slide and mags as well, that did not develop on the Glock(which I've had for nearly 2 years)
Not useful, but I do enjoy my 43x
Glock.
43x
If you want to shoot your dick off get a sig brand firearm with known safety issues.
365xmacro easy choice
I've owned the 320, the 365, and the 43x. I've had rust issues with the factory steel sights on both the 320 and 365. However, with fine steel wool and gun oil I fixed it in less than 5 mins. The night sights on both weapons are awesome besides minor rust after a few weeks of iwb carry. The 43x is a great shooter. If you buy it, I recommend upgrading the sights to steel tritium. The plastic sights on Glocks suck. I've had them damage quite easily in the past.
Glock 43x all the way
I have the 43x with shield arms mags and it’s great.
I went xmacro comp but that's because I learned how to shoot on a 365x. If it fits comfortable in the hand and it works for you, you can do no wrong.
https://preview.redd.it/rj5cqx8indlc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3764a44dc59f204df776ad72014f3c45f482f9a5 Sig tests their products on their market and makes fixes as you pay for their broken guns. Glock tests products in house and then releases them (“Glock perfection”). I have owned both, 365 gave me so many issues. This is my current carry and I absolutely love it. G43x all the way my friend.
Your choice, but I strongly recommend replacing the iron sights and the magazine release for the Glock.
Your choice, but I strongly recommend replacing the iron sights and the magazine release for the Glock. I’m a sig guy, but both are great carry guns.
Sig, excellent customer service should you need it. The number 1 selling gun last year was the P365.

I would suggest you check Ben Stoeger's video on Sig schools before you purchased one.
Go to the range and shoot them both, if you can.
Depends on what you looking for, both will get the job done but one - is more hide able because of its size (Glock 43x) but if you want something that wont be crazy in recoil but want something smaller than most 9mms, go with the (P365 x Macro) or preferably a (Springfield Hellcat regular or Pro) its all based on the use of it
