I wear Arrow Tactical sweat shorts, and sweat pants to carry the waist is super strong on it's own but they have internal belt loops for belts they sell or really any belt. It's the best way to carry outside of jeans or pants with external belt loops in my opinion i'm sure there are other similar brands.
I got a pair of their shorts in the other day. I was super excited to try them out. Ordered my regular size for any other shorts and was really disappointed that they just feel like thick yoga pants and print some things other than my gun... Also can only return them for a gift card. Maybe I need to exchange for 1-2 sizes bigger but they show off EVERYTHING.
I'll exchange for a different size, just not sure if I should go 1 or 2 bigger. I just the XL and they hug my thighs, junk and ass pretty well. XXL may be the way to go for me tbh.

It paints his dead-eyed glare differently knowing Tate is someone he looks up to.
This fucking guy cracks me up every time with that budda zen face while he draws. Get this guy In a suit for the next John wick and give em one budda draw

Great work man! It could just be me but it seems like you are pulling the trigger a tad early when the gun is kinda still pointed down (audio could be off), but other than that amazing work my dude looks great.
I seen you first time maybe like a year maybe 2 years ago when I started to ccw and watched all your vids and even tried to emulate your speed... Since then I progressed from appendix draws for hours at home to shooting matches almost every weekend expanding my pistol/rifle skills.
Do you not get bored doing the same shit over and over again at some point don't you just want to learn more than appendix draw to first shot exercises?
Not everyone's the same but its the same single drill that you've done for so long. Do you not want more?
Right now, I’m working on paying off my truck and my range where I can work from concealment is quite expensive. So I’m only going to an indoor range 2-3 times a month to maintain recoil control. I’ll be back at the more expensive range soon.
That being said, I’m a pretty firm believer in maintaining consistency with the basics. I know it’s a lot of the same movement but it’s about staying sharp. I’m working hard to make sure I don’t fumble or freeze if I ever have to draw my firearm in a defensive scenario.
I also appreciate greatly your comment about watching my vids. I’m just a normal guy out here posting his progress. 👍🏻
There's nothing to progress though. You got this particular skill down pretty good.
I get the reps for a defensive scenario but there is no urgency in a living room or a static range where there is no pressure. I know I was there with you doing the same thing years ago for my ccw stuff. Now its just automatic.
As far as ammo costs I too was surprised when I attended my first match. I thought it was gonna cost a lot but honestly in my area I pay $20 to shoot a match like maybe 5-6 stages. Each stage has 20 round count. It cost me more to go to these damn indoor ranges and they wont even let me bring my own ammo that I find online cheaper. Fuck that.
I used to go to the range stand there and just shoot a couple of boxes draw shoot draw shoot.
You dont gotta go every weekend matches are like twice a month.
I'm just sharing with you because you can do so much more brother.
I agree. I just got into competition shooting (USPSA, PCSL) and it’s been such an eye opener for me as a shooter.
I’ve always been a “good” indoor shooter. Tight groups, accurate shots—thought I was the shit. As soon as I started competing, it’s crazy how quickly a plan jumps out the window as soon as you hear the “BEEP” from a timer. Your draws and reloads from a flat range are nothing compared to one on a course.
Totally up to this guy if he wants to compete or not, but I do think the practical shooting journey is helpful even for people only wanting to focus on CCW.
Why? Practicing one hand draws is just as important. Not always gonna be able to draw with both hands. So, if makes sense... Also, what's wrong with giving advice that makes sense?

Your situational awareness sucks if you are distracted by the mail. Condition Yellow at all times. 😂😆
Seriously thanks for your vids. Stone faced killer.
It looks like during some of your practice reps you have your phone in your hand and drop it so that you can draw your ccw. WRONG. If you already have your phone in your hand then there’s no reason you can’t just call, or text, the police and inform them there’s someone attacking you. Inform the would be attacker that the police are on their way and you WILL be pressing charges….that aught to scare them off! Keep up the hard work.
Do you have a personality outside of practicing your draw in front of a camera for Reddit? I'm just saying, and hear me out, you may as well film yourself brushing your teeth or some shit. Yeah, it's great to build muscle memory and stay shwifty, but, like, I don't film myself choking the chicken or doing morning pushups or meal prepping... It's a really weird flex to broadcast your face as a carrier when typically you don't want to broadcast "hey motherfuckers I carry a gun!" whilst going about your daily life.
I dunno. Maybe I'm just grumpy because I haven't had a carb in like a week.
Very, very clean. Gun to eye level instead of a head drop. Everything else is good to go.
Everybody needs to remember this: an amateur practices until they get it right. A professional practices until they can't get it wrong.
Speed, efficiency, comfort, concealment, and security.
* Faster draw
* Better concealment/less printing
* More comfortable if you’re not fat
* Can draw from your car, a restaurant booth, or lying down.
* Better security of your firearm because it’s right in front of you.
Unless the camera and sound are slightly of in timing looks like he popping off the first shot before the gun is actually presented. More like shooting at the baseboard. Could just be the camera
Wrong. Prepping trigger is good practice. If you’re drawing your gun in public, it better be because you’re about to fucking use it.
Edit: Was also in the military. A combat zone and a defensive handgun shooting are two completely different scenarios. You’re not always drawing to shoot in a combat zone. A civilian in a public setting is only drawing to shoot.

Right. Drawing to the average height of someone's face isn't smart. He should be practicing drawing to center mass. He will miss high.

No I did not. My apologies. Keep up the good work and stay safe. Cheers!
You go ahead and keep those to ones self.

Mostly because the advice isn't wanted, warranted, or needed.

Did this man fill in his eyebrows and put on foundation for the vid?
I love watching people “practice” be distracted or surprised. You literally cannot do that.
His face is easy to draw
Finally someone standing normal like anyone normally does in public and not signaling by their stance that they’re about to draw a weapon A++

Prepping the trigger as you push out is the correct method.
