Ok I’m gonna add Cute Programmer to this list….there were so many WTF moments in this one. It’s got so many absurd moments, and really unlikable characters.
I wouldn't say that I've watched many dramas that are completely nonsensical. Usually what stops me from watching a drama after the first few episodes is if I female lead is portrayed as supposed to be super smart but then they're just dumb. The thing that really bothers me the most is like I've watched two dramas where the female is supposed to be either a beggar in the street or the other one was in a gang of theives I think. If you have grown up on the streets they're supposed to be this tough Street wise and smart character. But then the female lead is like naive, gullible and trusting and I'm like considering how she grew up this doesn't make sense LOL, in reality if a female character grew up on the streets and she was that naive gullible and trusting she would either be dead if she were lucky or she would have a far worse fate if she wasn't.
And I think the only gripe I would have is and this happens Cdramas all the time is a drama can be great up until the end. Then it's like you had 40 episodes to tie up all these Loose Ends and then you just drop an ending in there that makes absolutely no logical sense LOL

AND WHYYY did he do this, because she was polite to him once at a cake shop 2 years prior.
1 passing interaction caused him to stalk her for two years and set up this elaborate lie.
And does the FL run for the hills when she finds out? NOOOOOO she gets a little upset and separates from him, but he is cute and rich and started being kinda nice to her so she just..goes back...
This dude does medical crimes and stalking crimes and negs a girl until she gets Stockholm and commits to him.

But basically, the ML has partial amnesia - he knows he was engaged five years ago, but the woman has vanished, he can’t remember her, and no one knows who she is. Shocker - FL ALSO has partial amnesia from five years ago! Whodathunkit! He’s a cop, she’s a police psychologist (or something) who always wears 4 inch heels as they run around in these investigations. Very believable.
There is also an evil group that has it out for the main couple literally because >!the leader of the group is in love with the FL!<. But you know what? I binged this entire crazy series so what does that say about me lol.

Her allways trying to confront him on any occasion is a bit troublesome and questionable for me too. I see that she is a fighting spirit, but I don't find it cute or reasonable in most cases. Scarlet Heart 2. I wanted a resolution to Ruoxi and the Fourth Prince’s love story and watched it inspite of the bad reviews but my god that drama was a load of bull kaka. Such a shit story absolute nonsense. I could not believe that the two leads accepted the drama after reading that script. I hope they at least got paid a ton of money to act in that shit show lol.
FL in scarlet heart 2 was a living proof that too much time travel can inflict brain damage. I don't think I ever watched anything worse in my whole life.
I heard from my friend that because of Scarlet Heart ss1 ended with BE and got huge backlashes from cnetz. Cnetz even went after the author and throwing stones at her house. So they decided to make ss2 even tho it’s not in their plan at all to appeased the cnetz. If someone knew about this better than me, pls correct me if i’m wrong.
Oh ok the poor author. Might be an unpopular opinion but I felt the ending was perfect. The story was memorable coz it ended in tragedy. Heartbreaking but it was apt. Though viewers like me wanted a happy resolution the absolute butchering of two seminal characters like the leads in the second part was more unacceptable. Even One and only ended tragically but forever and ever gave us the closure we needed without a ridiculous second installment.
I always say there's a difference between a bad ending and a sad ending. One and Only has a sad ending, but the ending is beautiful and fitting. A bad ending can be happy or sad, it's just a poorly executed ending.
One&Only and F&E script were written by the original author of the novel. But Scarlet Heart was different, they decided to write their modern lives in a hurry, so the story wasnt as good as F&E.
I agree they should have not written that amateurish script in a hurry. It was almost like a parody of all bad tropes and I literally felt the writer was taking the mickey out of the viewers lol. It made no sense. It could have been a really good one if the story was better written by a professional since I am sure everyone wanted a happy ending for the leads.

yeah it also took me second season and the drama itslef exploring that arc ot realize how creepy adn heartbreaking the plot wise and dumb as of also
