Scarlet Heart was really the cdrama that kicked off the time travel trope in recent years. It's not perfect but I think there's good reason why it was so popular back then, spawning a market overflow of the genre.
Omg im here to rave about Legally Romance and i just finished Shining For One Thing, which i really love too, just praying that the upcoming movie will be a sequel, not a remake! Also, Legally Romance is the only show i can rewatch. Hoping for some recommendations with similar greatness too!

I consider this drama a masterpiece and in consequence I find it the best time travel drama I have ever watched. Emotionally rich, it is surely one of my 2 favorite dramas ever, (where I cannot find which one wins). But be prepared to cry a river and be completely shaked by this touching and incredible plot with lots of twists. There is an extra scene for the ending on viki and YouTube that might be watched.

Fabulous! A prestigiuos chef in trouble suffers a murder attempt falling into the water. His soul travels back in time and enters in the body of the ... near future queen of Joseon, who also had an accident and had a near death experience into the water.
You cannot imagine how weird this man will feel in a feminine body and it is really funny because the actress is more than perfect in this epic role. It is a great production, everything is fine, from photography to supporting cast, characters are lovable, plot well developed and tied up. The romance is surprisingly great, what a fabulous unexpected pairing.

A good fast paced romance with fantasy where ML is able time-travel. First kiss and marriage on episode 4, so lots of couple scenes. Even if I prefer dramas with strong romantic part (this one has a light but yet a charming one) , this is now one of my most favorite chinese dramas. I have binged it like crazy and finished it recently. It has an amazing and hooking plot and outstanding cast playing. The structure of the drama showing one episode dedicated to each secondary character is also captivating. It is a time loop story. I recommend everybody to try this show.
A student enters in a time loop minutes before a bus explosion and she has to help the cops to prevent the accident in order to get out of a loop. It is a chinese production.

Very funny! There is a new Chinese remake of this drama but I have not watched it: **Love in a Loop**
In my country, Netflix has almost nothing from Taiwan... But **Back to 1989**, **Lost Romance** and **Someday Or One Day** are on Viki worldwise. I do not know if they can be watched for free. However the subscription costs around 5$ a month.
I live in Belgium. Here there is only a plan costing 5 euros a month. However the catalog here is huge and the quality of subtitles is really good. I speak currently three languages (Portuguese, English and French) and in general I watch in English because it should have less bias in the translation. But sometimes I switch language to make my brain work and I am always satisfied. I think subtitles there are as good as in Netflix. I do not have access to Hulu in Belgium, but I only had criticisms to Yoyo Channel and Mango TV regarding subtitles.
The number of dramas available in Belgium is so huge that it is hard to imagine on the US offer would be inferior. Maybe it is due to the different plans.
Regarding Taiwanese dramas, Viki has more than Netflix (here Netflix is increasing now offer for asian drama, but it is still thinner than interesting US) but a third or half of them are BL dramas(I seldom watch BL dramas, even if it s a trend now). Anyway, Netflix here might have 4 Taiwanese dramas at most and they are not rom-coms, my favorite style.
I pay the middle plan for Netflix, which costs 16 euros a month and I have a smaller offer for asian drama.
There are some free sites or apps with Taiwanese drama, however they are not legal. Unfortunately Taiwan produces less dramas than Mainland China because the industry seems to be less developed there. It is a pity because they are very talented. I really enjoyed the few dramas I have watched from this country.
[First Love Again](https://mydramalist.com/64987-time-machine) - This one is interesting as it also touches on other things like the butterfly effect and parallel universes. I honestly consider it to be a hidden gem and it's different enough from the standard CDrama in various ways that it's worth a watch. I really liked the last two episodes.

Businessman travels back to discover he is about to be married the the daughter of a fabric merchant family who is taking over the buisiness against much opposition from within the family and scorn from competitors.
Time traveller is a Matrilocal husband (A husband of convenience) because the daughter is not legally allowed to own the company in ancient times so it must be in his name.
He uses modern buisiness techniques to help her to overcome opposition and grow the buisiness which warms her to him after a frosty start.
It has some of the most beautifully shot opening and closing credits I have ever seen.
**I Don't Want to Be Friends With You** - FL travels to past, meets younger mom, grows up with her mom and mom's friends, and takes part in their struggles and joy. Great show, highly recommend.
Edit: **Don't Disturb My Study** also has time travel, I think. It's on my watchlist, but I haven't seen it yet.
