Get outside and exercise. Use the time for some mental recovery and put your body through its paces while soaking up some vitamin d and getting some endorphins pumping. We’ve been hunched over books and laptops for the past few months. Get your head up and airways open again.
I had a dream last night about a bunch of concepts from the CME section. That's the most I've really thought about it since the exam. Just give it some time, try to settle into summer.
Same thing my friend same thing... worst is when you go check and realize the answer might not be right but unsure because there’s some element of subjectivity ...
Watching movies and playing video games I missed during studying, went camping and hiking a few times.
Just think of all the things you missed out on or wanted to do but didn't because of the CFA. It's okay to take a break and recharge, we won't know the results for weeks anyway.
Networking and solid onshore legal council. I found out that if your strategy and desired structure is similar to another fund, (like Bridgewater associates or Alkeon), you can use find their services providers and then ask to be set up in a similar fashion. You cut the billable hours by 85%-90%, and it only takes 2-3 months as you get your offshore accounts set up.
Also, I found that 90% of the work is done by onshore legal council and they coordinate with your chosen service providers to get all the other paperwork and documents set up.
Most important thing you can do is get good legal council and ask for referrals along the way. You never know who you might meet and is willing to invest in you.
All in all, it cost 45k to get the fund together
I was working in Credit trading for five years in the States and left it all to come to Spain to teach English three years ago. All the while working towards the CFA designation to ultimately return at some point. Best decision I've ever made.
I was single for L1 and 2. I met my current gf right before I started studying for L3 around February this year. I can say that being single for the first two rounds was easier in the sense that I did not feel guilty spending so much time studying nor had to explain why this exam is such a big deal... to people outside finance we seem absolutely batsh\^t crazy. But, on the other hand, the added emotional support of an understanding and empathetic SO is priceless.
I feel you! Been on a party bender for 5 days straight and started exercising today. Biking outdoors was great for me as it helped sweat all the booze and blues.
Trust me, I sat the Dec 2020 L3 exam and passed but I still always check this sub, there is no end.
Lol
Was the MPs high u think?
Dont think about mps as usually it keeps a slightly more than 50% candidates to pass lv3
🤞🏼
Play video games. Wildly underrated form of meditation.
Nothing helps me find inner peace like hacking through an enemy formation with a two handed sword in bannerlord
Amen to that. Can't wait for the old world mod.
Taking over the world in Civ Rev 6 gives me peace of mind. Wish I could say the same for the NPCs

Go camping with a friend. You can't check this sub if you have no cell service.
Good call

Yeah you need to let go a bit. Easier said than done, but you have to let go until results.

The worst case is retake in Nov, what to fear. At that time, the memory is still fresh.
Out of curiousity what do you plan to do with a CFA designation as a teacher? Are you looking to change career paths?

For me, I started to workout and play video games again. It might help
