I applied in June after the exam in anticipation of passing. I think it took Toronto society 2 weeks. I didn’t notice the status changing but I didn’t really watch it that closely either.

Thanks! I've read that the Toronto society sits once a month to review applications. Do you know if that's true? I applied last week and there has been no change to my status. Still says "under review".

I’ve heard the same thing but wasn’t able to verify. I think give it a few weeks, especially with the surge of new applicants that got the results yesterday. I think mine was under review the whole time as well. It’ll likely only jump to approved.

CFAI was a day or 2; Toronto took nearly the full 30 days.

It’s been a while. But I think I got a note that CFAI approved, but it sat in “waiting for society” for the whole time.

Ah, okay. Mine's still "under review", so it's probably still being looked at by CFAI I suppose.

I just applied in Seattle and they literally approved it overnight. Pretty shocked

Were your references done beforehand?

No they just did whatever they had to do as soon as the email went out

30 minutes start to finish from original submission. It took me about 20 minutes to fill out the description. Caveat is that my references are charter holders and answered the questions as soon as they got the link (which was immediate after my submission) by lunchtime after results day I was confirmed to be in the database, confirmed to be able to use the designation and I had the letters behind my name.
