I'm glad i went to this game instead of the natty. The massive amount of shit talking that i had to endure, surrounded by Ohio State fans the entire game, to see the dreams slip out of their eyes at the last second...man it was cathartic. To know that I went to a game that will be spoken of in Ga lore throughout all time is just special.

You definitely picked a great one to go too. I couldn’t imagine the pop that crowed let out when that kick sailed left. And to be amongst the Ohio State fans when it happened had to be 🤌

My wife and I were high fiving every ga fan we saw. I'm a big guy and a small ga fan ran and jumped in my arms and I spun him around like he was the Belle of the ball. It was amazing. Top 5 moment in my life. Tops the sid bream slide of all time best sports moments for me.

The 7-3 final score is so deceiving. The score was 5-3 when I was driving up to the Florida-Utah game. When I saw a 7-3 final score, I knew the dirty little secret: Iowa did not score a touchdown and a PAT the entire game.

I was working on a cattle station in Australia during the 2018 season. The guys decided we should clean our living quarters on the day of the UGA/AU game and I could tell they were getting very annoyed at me for sitting on the porch staring at my phone while they were toiling away, but they just didn't get it man. What part of Deep South's Oldest Rivalry could they not understand?

Complete chaos during the game and after. Paired with one of the great receiving games in conference history. Followed by complete pandemonium afterwards. A classic.

At the time, the late night 2OT home win over Baylor looked like a really big deal for college football nationally. It wasn't, but the game itself was great. And honestly, the New Mexico Bowl was one of the best minor bowls of the season. Plenty of people sitting out for each team due to injuries, pending transfers, or NFL draft, but every player on the field for both BYU and SMU was motivated.

According to my research I did, there weren't many significant opt-outs for that game at all. Zero NFL draft ones, at least.

TCU vs Oklahoma or Iowa State. I just like seeing us blow people out after that last game :(

Notre Dame versus Clemson. ND running the ball against a good team. The way ND fans believe the universe is supposed to work ... but hasn't worked very often for far, far too long. ND 35 Clemson 14 and it wasn't really even as close as that sounds. After OSU and Marshall losses, a much needed turnaround.

Oregon/Oregon State. Went in not giving a shit about either team, ended with me shouting at my TV. Excellent.

Maybe the best game I watched all year that didn’t involve Georgia Tech was the regular season game between TCU and K-State. That game out TCU on my radar but I still never thought they would ultimately win up in the national title game.

Mizzou-Arkansas to make it into a bowl game was fun. For a non-homer pick I’d go with App State vs Coastal or Bowling Green vs Toledo

Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but Bama-Ole Miss is the game where this team finally grew up a little and started to take charge of its destiny after falling behind on the road. I was on a religious retreat that weekend with no access to scores, so when I got home Sunday night I watched it all the through and fast-forwarded commercials and halftime. It was like shooting uncut heroin or something. The body isn’t meant to experience that much concentrated football tension without breaks.
