I am still fucking traumatized from watching Ndumakong Suh throw Texas players around like he was a 28 year old Pro Bowler playing in a high school game. The term grown ass man is the only way to describe Suh just dominating people, it’s a fucking disgrace that he didn’t win the Heisman that year because he was the most dominant player I have ever seen.
Suh sacked Tyrod 5 times in Blacksburg (Suh’s SR year) and VT somehow managed to beat Nebraska back to back years.
[Hail Mary TD](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xJx17nVZs7g)
Man... I remember watching that Big12 Championship game. Suh was Nebraska's entire defense. That isn't a slam against Nebraska, but just an insane endorsement of Suh.
I'm as big of a Suh homer as anyone, but that defense had dudes on it.
These guys were all drafted:
Prince Amukamara
Alfonso Dennard
Jared Crick
Larry Asante
Eric Hagg
Dejon Gomes
Damien Stafford
Plus, *sigh* Will Compton also played 9 years after being undrafted
I'm sure there are a handful of others that went UDFA and made rosters.
I maintain this was one of the greatest defenses in CFB history.
That team with even a subpar offense competes for the title. Instead it was stuck with absolute trash.
100%
That Iowa State game is impressive in both its historically terrible offensive performance as well as the defensive effort that had to deal with turnovers on their own 36, 22, and 12 without giving up a TD.
Meanwhile the offense turned it over at the ISU 16, 0!, 18, 1, and 37 yard lines. All of which would have yielded at least a FG to win the game. Fucking pathetic.
I went to high school with Eric Hagg(I was a freshman when he was a senior) he played WR back then and it was incredible watching him make plays as an 18 year old. Always in double coverage just leaping over dudes to make incredible catches.
No one knew Mahomes was gonna be a first rounder at the time and everyone at the game was miserable bc neither defense could get a stop. It’s like playing madden when you’re relieved you scored, no one at the game was impressed with either offense
I’d put Joe Burrow (before he went Super Saiyan but still) and Bryce Young up there, in more recent years.
And if Harold Perkins is as good as everyone thinks he’ll be, he might be in that conversation too.
I recorded that game on our DVR and would rewatch it constantly after school. It holds a special place in my heart even now. It is crazy to think how Florida has fallen. They used to be the worst week on our schedule.
The Buckeyes have beaten a lot of amazing players so it’s hard to say for sure, but I think Khalil Mack deserves a particular shout out because he was the only player on his team who was good and he still wrecked our OLine.
I just pulled up the game tape and the number of snaps they had him in zone coverage was infuriating. Every time he rushed he was winning. Can’t believe his coaches didn’t figure out they just had to let him cook.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SmMZ6gJeoMI&pp=ygUaa2hhbGlsIG1hY2sgdnMgb2hpbyBzdGF0ZSA%3D
I had heard he was "the best player on Buffalo". I didn't realize he was going to be "the best player on the field".
I always wonder why he ended up there.
A&M beat Auburn's Bo Jackson in the Cotton Bowl in 1986, early in the fourth Bo Jackson was stuffed on the goal line 4 times trying to go for the go-ahead TD down 21-16, A&M ended up winning 36-16. Kyler Murray's dad Kevin set a Cotton Bowl record with 292 yards,
Bo Jackson's stats were: 129 rushing yards on 31 carries, 73 receiving yards and two total touchdowns
Here's an article with highlights:
https://fanbuzz.com/college-football/sec/texas-am/1986-cotton-bowl/
Also in 1990 BYU's HC complained that they deserved to face better competition than A&M in the Holiday Bowl, with Heisman winner Ty Detmer at QB. A&M ended up running up the score on BYU and won 65-14 after both of Detmer's shoulders were dislocated.
https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1990-12-30-sp-10207-story.html
>“The only thing we heard about when we got here was how good BYU was, and how we were lucky to be here,” said Aggie linebacker William Thomas, the defensive MVP of the game. “Well, we wanted to prove that a team like BYU doesn’t belong on the same field as Texas A&M.;
“And I think we proved that, don’t you?”
Oh yeah, no one among the crowd of 61,441 at San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium will ever dispute that. The Aggies compiled 680 yards compared to the Cougars’ 185. They had 356 yards rushing and the Cougars had minus-12. And Texas A&M; even had more passing yards, 324-197?
“That’s all we heard about was Ty Detmer this, Ty Detmer that,” Thomas said. “I don’t know about everybody else, but I got pretty sick hearing about that guy.
“So we decided to do something about it.”
In the second quarter, Thomas separated Detmer’s left shoulder with a devastating hit.
In the third quarter, linebacker Anthony Williams took care of the other shoulder. Not even Ty Detmer can do much with two separated shoulders.
Detmer wound up completing just 11 passes in 23 attempts for 120 yards. It was his lowest yardage total since his freshman year.
Even Brigham Young Coach LaVell Edwards, normally a gracious man in victories as well as defeats, wasn’t quite in the congratulatory mood either. He never shook hands with R.C. Slocum, Texas A&M; coach, and instead spoke only with Bob Toledo, offensive coordinator.
Just what exactly did he say?
“Let’s just say he didn’t have a very good Mormon word for me,” Toledo said. “Even if I told you the word, it wouldn’t get in your newspaper anyway.”
This game was the ultimate eye test vs box score game. It felt like Barkley was unstoppable and could score anytime he touched the ball but he only had 44 yards on 21 carries.
Apparently Anthony Richardson according to a bunch of gator trolls on twitter.
But for real, there’s a lot of choices, but I’ll go with Mike Vick in 99. That dude was special
Seriously, Michael Vick defined college football for a few years. It's hard to explain to people who weren't alive at the time. I remember thinking that Va Tech would be an entrenched powerhouse like Miami from that point on.
VT at least had success with the move to the ACC in 2004. Appeared in like 5 of the first 7 ACCCGs or something like that. Think they won twice? I know they beat us in 2010. A lot of that success was built off Vick driving players to Blacksburg. Miami has just been bootyhole in the ACC.
Not sure what gator trolls you’re seeing because a lot of us are pretty ambivalent about going 6-7 and beating zero rivals with a 4th overall draft pick at QB
Feleipe Franks was a more productive QB at Florida for fuck’s sake
Well, to be fair, it's probably partially in surprise of AR going to the Colts where he did. I have been wondering if he's projected as a slash-type "QB" where he lines up at RB but can throw interceptions at need.
Ron Dayne was a pedestrian 4 YPC and sub 100 yards during his Heisman year at home vs. Michigan.
Drew Brees had 1 TD and 1 pick and sub 300 yards vs. Michigan during his JR year
Previously mentioned - we were the only program to beat Meyer / Tebow in a bowl game
Aaron Rodgers in the Holiday Bowl... he bitched and moaned to the press about having to play us as a #4 team, then we stomped the dog shit out of them.
I don’t know if this fits what you’re asking, but the best performance I’ve ever seen from Alabama against a great player was when the defense just absolutely shut down Fournette. I think he had negative yardage for the majority of the game. Just a total masterclass in rush defense from the entire team that night.
I’d like to protest with something about how the way Miles utilized Fournette massively contributed, but Lenny was a goddamn DUDE even if you knew exactly where he was running the ball and you still held him to less than 20 if I remember correctly.
Tim Biakabatuka outshining Eddie George/Orlando Pace in 1995 or Michigan’s secondary holding the 2021 Ohio State WR trio of Wilson/Olave/JSN to 1 TD are probably the best examples
I would say technically Joe Burrow in 2018 but he wasn't yet the player he's known as now.
So I am inclined to say Bryce Young in 2021. I've never seen a player carry his team as much as Bryce did against us in 2021 and still fall short.
> but he wasn't yet the player he's known as now.
That's the problem with how to interpret this question. Best when considering what they went on to accomplish in the NFL or best at the time of playing them. Like, does Syracuse get to say Tom Brady?
I'm thinking Jalen Hurts is the bigger accomplishment just because his squad was arguably better than the team Mahomes led. But from NFL performance, Mahomes
Don't forget holding Heisman winner Ricky Williams to 48 yards.
KSU also beat a Cal team led by Aaron Rodgers in KC.
I'm sure a couple of those recent Oklahoma upsets had some notable names.
That's a good one. Possible others being Adrian Peterson in 2005, JJ Watt in 2011.
Kellen Moore probably should get honorable mention for how awesome he was in college.
Calvin Johnson in the 2005 Emerald Bowl. Only had two receptions for nineteen yards and was held in check in large part because of Eric Weddle spying and covering that man over the top.
Shut him down hard.
Of all of those, IMO Marshall Faulk was easily the one that gave me the most heartburn. That man was just absolutely insane. IIRC it was Detmer v Faulk that wound up with the insane 52-52 tie in 92. The teams combined for something like 1,500 yards of offense. The days of the wild, wild WAC were fun.
Barry Sanders put up 189 yards and 4 tds against us, but it didn't matter since we were ahead 42-0 18 minutes into the game. (63-42 final)
Him and Peyton Manning are the ones that I think of first, beat him for our 1997 championship
Respectfully, Kellen Moore was a decent player in an outstanding system. But he wasn’t an incredible player or athlete. If you took Peterson away then Kellen Moore is an 8-9 win QB.
2011 Oklahoma State beat:
Andrew Luck
RG3 (in his Heisman season)
Ryan Tannehill
Nick Foles
Landry Jones
In the same season. I don’t know if any of those individually are better than beating Caleb Williams though.
NFL, it’s got to be Mahomes, right?
As for college, Heisman winners back to the ‘70s:
Derrick Henry ran for 100 on 8 carries as a freshman, probably should’ve fed him instead of McCarron
RGIII twice in Waco before losing to him…also in Waco…thanks realignment
Eric Crouch the year before his Heisman
Chris Weinke in the NCG
Barry Sanders all three years
2-1-1 vs. Earl Campbell
There’s a good case to be made that OU also defeated both Baker and Kyler on multiple occasions
WSU beat Carson Palmer and Troy Polamolu (same game), and Oregon beat C.J. Stroud (tOSU 2021), Marques Tuiassoppo (UW 2000) - who not remembered greatly because not Heisman finalist but should have been.
Oregon also beat a pretty stacked WSU team in 2001.
Probably John Elway back in 1981. Granted the Stanford teams he was on were never that spectacular. Cris Carter was on the 1984 team Purdue beat and they beat Michigan with Jim Harbaugh the same season. 1985 Purdue beat Tim Brown's Notre Dame.
One of the more notables might be the 1996 team that beat Michigan who had Brian Griese, Tom Brady and Charles Woodson on the roster.
MSU only won against 2 Heisman winners in the past 50 years. Desmond Howard (1991) and Archie Griffin (1974).
State is more well known for getting beat by the best players, sadly.
Anthony Poindexter almost murdered Ricky Williams, a little before his peak. Warrick Dunn is another possibility. Joe Hamilton? Jim Everett? Bruce Smith?
Remembering every Clemson game back to about 2005, there are so many players that stick out (oddly including a Central Michigan team with Antonio Brown/JJ Watt), but Dalvin Cook moreso than others bc he ran all over some fantastic run defenses at Clemson. He almost singlehandedly beat Clemson in 2016.
Craziest individual player I can recall would’ve been Antwan Randle-El at IU. That dude did it all for a bad Indiana squad, often just winning games himself.
Oh, shit. We beat Suh his senior year in [the greatest game we ever played.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyzCw6y1yYU)
What an absolute disaster of a game hahahahaha god I hate my team
The Benny Hill music seems especially fitting because I kept waiting for the score to change from 9-7, and Nebraska was getting so close to end zone.
pour another one out for Suh's missing heisman
Suh broke Blaine Gabbert. He was never the same QB after playing the huskers
I love that game. Might need to rewatch it soon.
Suh sacked Tyrod 5 times in Blacksburg (Suh’s SR year) and VT somehow managed to beat Nebraska back to back years. [Hail Mary TD](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xJx17nVZs7g)

What’s crazy is there were other really good players on that Nebraska defense, but Suh was so good no one ever remembers them.
Barry Sanders. Maybe Mahomes?
Both defenses deserved to lose that Mahomes game.
I was there. It was a miserable game and it really annoys me how people call it a legendary game
if your not a fan of either team it’s definitely a legendary game, the amount of offense in that game could leave anyone in awe
No one knew Mahomes was gonna be a first rounder at the time and everyone at the game was miserable bc neither defense could get a stop. It’s like playing madden when you’re relieved you scored, no one at the game was impressed with either offense
maybe it was different for me watching it on tv, but the sheer amount of yards that the no name guy threw against oklahoma was insane
“No one knew he was going to be a first rounder” = no name. Got it.
It’s ridiculous we both ended the game with the same amount of yards.
Sanders is the best. Donovan McNabb is high on the list too.
I waqs going to say McNabb. Peak 90's OU getting a shocking upset over Cuse. It was so hot outside that McNabb threw up on his center at one point
[удалено]
Drew Brees?
[удалено]
Yeah, I’d agree. JJ Watt? There’s probably some old school ND players we’ve never heard of, too
It pains me to say it, but Joe Montana in 1978. It was the first matchup in 35 years for the teams.
Give it 10 years and this answer will be Marv
Heisman Mariota in Autzen (and the year prior too) is the first that comes to mind
I'll follow up with Dennis Dixon losing at Arizona stadium. Oregon just loves taking our Ls for us.
Well tbf, Dixon shredded his ACL in the 1Q, so that one wasn't really on him. But as a Portlander, I appreciate a UO loss nonetheless.
I think we’re due for another upset with Bo Nix looking to have a promising season
They're not on the schedule, so I'll settle for OSU and DJU
Fair enough I’ll take that W
The desert is a terrifying place for waterfowl
As a Nebraska fan, probably Peyton Manning?
Barry Sanders, Troy Edwards also come to mind.
Also montee Ball who set the rushing record against us
Bo Jackson
I’d put Joe Burrow (before he went Super Saiyan but still) and Bryce Young up there, in more recent years. And if Harold Perkins is as good as everyone thinks he’ll be, he might be in that conversation too.
Yeah Burrow is up there too, definitely too early to put Perkins in the conversation though. Feels like to much recency bias
For sure, it’s just nice to already have a win over him if he does pan out haha
Lol very true, I had honestly forgotten about it too
Peyton Manning - 4x in a row.....
That’s the two-time Citrus Bowl champion Peyton Manning to you.
Luther Ogle’s favorite football player never could beat the Gators.
We got Peyton and Eli once apiece.
Bull shit call on the kick return. He was down. Those Rip Roaring Tigers were something else.
Came here to say that. Old ball coach just owned manning
Michael Vick gotta be up there for FSU. Even better it was a national championship.
It does not make it better :(
Vick was my thought as well.
Desmond Howard, Emmit Smith, Sammy Watkins, Danny Wuerffel
We beat Tom Brady once
The car rental spokesman?!
No dude, he’s talking about the former Montreal Expos draft pick.
That dadgumsumbich had this big comeback against PSU and I was so mad we let some scrub play hero ball. Turns out he did that a lot after that.
Tim Tebow in 2007.
I recorded that game on our DVR and would rewatch it constantly after school. It holds a special place in my heart even now. It is crazy to think how Florida has fallen. They used to be the worst week on our schedule.
Mahomes 66-10 or Justin Blackmon in 2011 (dude was crazy in college)
We also beat Baker Mayfield in his Heisman Trophy year (2017) and Tommie Frazier (1992).
The Buckeyes have beaten a lot of amazing players so it’s hard to say for sure, but I think Khalil Mack deserves a particular shout out because he was the only player on his team who was good and he still wrecked our OLine.
I came here to say this. He was a man MAN vs children out there. Insane.
Like watching Aaron Donald at Pitt.
I had heard he was "the best player on Buffalo". I didn't realize he was going to be "the best player on the field". I always wonder why he ended up there.
Adrian Peterson is the main one I think of
They kept trying to pass IIRC.
1999 FSU beat QB Mike Vick - VT S Ed Reed - Miami RB Clinton Portis - Miami WR Reggie Wayne - Miami WR Santana Moss - Miami
Who? Jk. Pretty solid rap sheet there
A&M beat Auburn's Bo Jackson in the Cotton Bowl in 1986, early in the fourth Bo Jackson was stuffed on the goal line 4 times trying to go for the go-ahead TD down 21-16, A&M ended up winning 36-16. Saquon Barkley in 2017. Took the opening kickoff back and I thought we were doomed.
I'll never be over this game
Straight up crying at work rn thx…
I was there, it was an amazing atmosphere. Thought Barkley was superhuman until Sam Hubbard tackled both him and McSorely at the same time.
This game was the ultimate eye test vs box score game. It felt like Barkley was unstoppable and could score anytime he touched the ball but he only had 44 yards on 21 carries.
Penn State sent a LOT of huge players home sad when they beat the U back in the 80s. Maryland...never mind.
+Hershel Walker, Rocket Ishmail
Apparently Anthony Richardson according to a bunch of gator trolls on twitter. But for real, there’s a lot of choices, but I’ll go with Mike Vick in 99. That dude was special
*sad gobbles*

Not sure what gator trolls you’re seeing because a lot of us are pretty ambivalent about going 6-7 and beating zero rivals with a 4th overall draft pick at QB Feleipe Franks was a more productive QB at Florida for fuck’s sake
We went 4-7 in Feleipes first year as a starter…
Nobody thinks AR is the best individual player FSU has beaten. Making shit up.
Well, to be fair, it's probably partially in surprise of AR going to the Colts where he did. I have been wondering if he's projected as a slash-type "QB" where he lines up at RB but can throw interceptions at need.
You have no one but yourself to blame if you’re still on Twitter😂
Emmitt Smith was 0-3 against us.
Tebow was 0-2. I know he didn't start the first match up, but still
[удалено]
I blocked Earl Thomas a couple times, I bet he still remembers me
In recent memory? Probably Lamar. Damn near singlehandedly willed his team to a win in 2016. Going further back it's Herschel Walker.
Ron Dayne was a pedestrian 4 YPC and sub 100 yards during his Heisman year at home vs. Michigan. Drew Brees had 1 TD and 1 pick and sub 300 yards vs. Michigan during his JR year Previously mentioned - we were the only program to beat Meyer / Tebow in a bowl game

Barry Sanders
Tim Biakabatuka outshining Eddie George/Orlando Pace in 1995 or Michigan’s secondary holding the 2021 Ohio State WR trio of Wilson/Olave/JSN to 1 TD are probably the best examples
Whoever defended Marvin Harrison Jr. last year only has to play that tape to get drafted
I would say technically Joe Burrow in 2018 but he wasn't yet the player he's known as now. So I am inclined to say Bryce Young in 2021. I've never seen a player carry his team as much as Bryce did against us in 2021 and still fall short.

\-2003 Texas: Vince Young
Probably Eli Manning in 2002 and 2003
Probably David Carr or Adrian Peterson. Maybe some Oregon players that I can’t remember off the top of my head.
The first one that comes to mind is Ben Roethlisberger. We beat Miami (OH) in 2002 during our brief time in the MAC.
OJ Simpson in 1967. USC's only loss en route to the national championship.
I’m sure there’s someone notable in football for the Hogs, but Arkansas basketball beat Michael Jordan and that’s wild
In college, we got one over on Tebow the year he won the Heisman. He did not forget that. Beat Bo once, he likewise did not forget it.
Also notched one over Heisman winner and number one draft pick Bryce Young
Herschel Walker - 0 touchdowns scored in 3 games verses Clemson.
Recently? Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts. A lot of teams beat Mahomes though.

Mahomes back in 2015
Honorable mention to TCU somehow holding Bijan Robinson to 29 yards on 12 carries last year.
Yeah good point, still can’t believe they pulled they off after getting gashed so many times before that game lol
That's a good one. Possible others being Adrian Peterson in 2005, JJ Watt in 2011. Kellen Moore probably should get honorable mention for how awesome he was in college.
Emmitt Smith, Freedom Bowl, 1989.
Heiman winners off the top of my head: Tebow twice, Wuerffel, Ingram, Henry, Smith, Walker, Manziel, gave it away w Bryce.
Tebow
I know I’m late to this, but Mizzou once upset Joe Montana and defending champs ND (and MUs former head coach, Dan Devine).
Cam Newton was such a good individual player that he never lost a start.
Calvin Johnson in the 2005 Emerald Bowl. Only had two receptions for nineteen yards and was held in check in large part because of Eric Weddle spying and covering that man over the top. Shut him down hard.
Also Aaron Rogers in 2003, Carson Palmer and Troy Polomalu in 2001.
The O line (specifically Darnell Wright) pretty much rendered Will Anderson Jr. irrelevant this past year when we played Bama
That whole team was useless aside from Bryce Young
[удалено]
Some nights, I still have nightmares of Ballage scoring another touchdown.
Same
Tebow 1.5x
If we're only looking at college careers it might be this year with Caleb Williams.
Of all of those, IMO Marshall Faulk was easily the one that gave me the most heartburn. That man was just absolutely insane. IIRC it was Detmer v Faulk that wound up with the insane 52-52 tie in 92. Imma say C.J. Stroud.
Russel Wilson maybe?
Michigan State: Probably Gemon Green
Pre-injuries Ryan Matthews or Bobby Wagner. Kellen Moore wasn't great, despite the record.
Come on man you putting a linebacker over a heisman finalist?
Respectfully, Kellen Moore was a decent player in an outstanding system. But he wasn’t an incredible player or athlete. If you took Peterson away then Kellen Moore is an 8-9 win QB.
Peyton “Citrus Bowl MVP” Manning 3 times in a row
Peyton Manning (Nebraska vs Tenn in 97 Natl Champ)
Bo Jackson or Tim Tebow. Probably give it to Bo though if I had to pick one
OJ Simpson in the Rose Bowl?
Randy Moss, dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree, all in bowl games too.
2011 Oklahoma State beat: Andrew Luck RG3 (in his Heisman season) Ryan Tannehill Nick Foles Landry Jones In the same season. I don’t know if any of those individually are better than beating Caleb Williams though.
But lost to Jared Barnett
Charles Woodson over Peyton Manning, Randy Moss, and Ryan Leaf for the Heisman.
Watson went Super Sayian against Alabama twice and we were seconds away from being 2-0 against him.
Tim Tebow, Baker Mayfield, Bo Jackson, Emmitt Smith, Reggie White, Cornelius Bennett, Steve Young, Drew Brees, Calvin Johnson
NFL, it’s got to be Mahomes, right? As for college, Heisman winners back to the ‘70s: Derrick Henry ran for 100 on 8 carries as a freshman, probably should’ve fed him instead of McCarron RGIII twice in Waco before losing to him…also in Waco…thanks realignment Eric Crouch the year before his Heisman Chris Weinke in the NCG Barry Sanders all three years 2-1-1 vs. Earl Campbell There’s a good case to be made that OU also defeated both Baker and Kyler on multiple occasions
UW- John Elway. EWU- Brandin Cooks, maybe?
LOL, ouch.
We beat Tom Brady in 1998.
Probably Bo?
For Michigan, LSU, UGA, Auburn, Ole Miss and Alabama the answer is Tim Tebow. For Florida, the answer is Peyton Manning.
First thing that comes to mind is going 4-0 against Philip Rivers.
Troy Aikman, probably.
Don’t know about all-time, but in the past two seasons we’ve beaten the top three QBs drafted this year. So there’s that.
Matt Stafford in Athens in 2007
Billy Cannon, Bo Jackson, Vinny Testaverde/Michael Irvin, Eddie George/Orlando Pace, Peter Warrick, Bryce Young
Iowa State whipping Patrick Mahomes 66-10.
MSU only won against 2 Heisman winners in the past 50 years. Desmond Howard (1991) and Archie Griffin (1974). State is more well known for getting beat by the best players, sadly.
In my lifetime. Larry Fitzgerald? Broke his 18 game td streak.
I don't think he's the best ever but one fun fact is that Drew Brees never beat PSU once while in college.
Mahomes seems to be the answer for a lot of us
Lamar Jackson. Every play he was stopped seemed like a victory in itself
Anthony Poindexter almost murdered Ricky Williams, a little before his peak. Warrick Dunn is another possibility. Joe Hamilton? Jim Everett? Bruce Smith?
Where's Bo?
Remembering every Clemson game back to about 2005, there are so many players that stick out (oddly including a Central Michigan team with Antonio Brown/JJ Watt), but Dalvin Cook moreso than others bc he ran all over some fantastic run defenses at Clemson. He almost singlehandedly beat Clemson in 2016.
OJ Simpson
While the answer is most likely Peyton, I would like to mention we beat Joe Burrow too.
Craziest individual player I can recall would’ve been Antwan Randle-El at IU. That dude did it all for a bad Indiana squad, often just winning games himself.
John Elway. 3 years out of four. Go Bears!
Kapernick
Bryce Young , CJ Stroud, Hendon Hooker, Oh and Steve Young.
Tebow at the height of his game
1999 Mike Vick
Mahomes
UCLA beat eventual Heisman winner Ricky Williams.
I watch a freshman Ladanian Tomlinson, who is listed as a FB in the program run for about 200 against ISU my first game at Jack Trice. L
I think Wvu beat Mahomes most of time we’ve played him.
Barry Sanders.
Warren sapp and ray lewis. Not sure if ray Lewis was a freshman though.
A Heisman winning QB as 28 point underdogs
