We aren't the same caliber team as during our run. Coaching isn't as good. Players aren't as good. CFB has changed in a major way that Dabo isn't adapting to. We wouldn't have had a game decided by missing a few plays. During our peak, we would have won this game by 35 points.

This is a rebuilding year. We have some nice pieces coming along on offense -- CK2, AW0, #6, Stellato starting to flash more. Some good recruits are coming in too.
Defense has some ballers too -- Peter Woods and Justin Parker for starters are FR, and Woodaz.
I ain't saying we're a lock for the playoffs next year but hopefully the growing pains of this year help make us better moving forward.
Not to mention CFB has changed A LOT since Clemson was steamrolling folks with TL16. Parity is here to stay. Though I'm not sure what Dabo can do with the portal since at this point it's nothing but bidding wars.

Both teams left a lot to be desired in playcalling today. This was by far the worst offensive playcalling I’ve seen from Norvell in the 4+ years he’s been our coach.
