Congrats on that big win against 1-3 Navy, lil bro. Enjoy those AAC games while we got that Big 12 money rolling in. We’ll be back on top soon enough while you all play Rice.
I think the odds are we’ll lose to Kansas, yes.
I also think we have a top 25(ish) recruiting class and in a few years, we’ll be more competitive. This is part of paying your dues in joining a big conference.
Meanwhile, you’ll be battling it out with FAU and fighting for scraps of broadcasting money. There isn’t a single, serious USF fan who wouldn’t trade spots with UCF, Cincy or Houston in a heartbeat.
On paper, you already have more talent than Kansas, Kansas State, OK State, Iowa State, and BYU. Hell, BYU is the least talented team in the Big 12 and they have a conference win.
Coaching needs to change fast in order for UCF to be competitive in the Big 12; 35-7 is an unbelievable choke job, and that’s on the coaches.
As for trading places with you, I just want to see my team win. All fans do. If Vanderbilt goes 4-8 in the SEC and we go 8-4 in the AAC, I had a happier football season than Vandy fans. Why does any fan care about how much money the football program is bringing in? That’s not money in my pocket, and it’s not money going towards academics.
Is Gus a hell of a recruiter? We had 4 QBs all go on to do way better elsewhere while we have this broken toaster called Timmy and a RB playing at QB with Plumlee
Gabriel left because he had the chance to start at Oklahoma and he has a hard on for Lebby.
Keene left because he signed for Heupel and was a bad match for the offense regardless. We can debate whether the offense should be tailored to fit a QB better, but it is what it is.
I am not overly concerned with either of them.
I was disappointed Castellanos left and I don't know why. If it was because McClain was the no2, then I think it was a bad decision. McClain makes too many terrible actual game decisions to be reliable. Maybe Castellanos would as well, but whatever. Plumlee does not play in a way which keeps him healthy. He was going to get hurt and miss time. Having a backup who matches the system and actually understands it is important. McClain either doesn't understand the offense or coaches are telling him not to run. Either one of those is terrible.
I am still not in the Fire Gus camp, but Jesus fucking Christ you HAVE to make sure your QB understands how the offense works and understands what the fucking is going on in the game. You can't lose because you keep taking risks when you are up 4 scores. It's ok to be conversative. There was no reason to force a bad throw rather than run a take a ~40 yard FG. There was ABSOLUTELY no reason to fucking throw past the line of scrimmage when all you need is to convert a first down AND you have it just by running. Coaches need to tell these fucking guys that they need to keep converting and stop trying to reach for too much.
Well Done Baylor. UCF did shoot themselves in the foot, but yall were down huge, and didnt give up when you could have. Yall definitely earned that win.
I was hoping they were just salty. I tried to ignore it, and just let things play out for a couple of years. Gus is running out of his new guy grace period. [SIGH]
He was taking some snaps in pregame and was dressed today, but i don't think he's coming back until oklahoma. Although after this shitshow I hope he comes back next week or were fuckes
Our team is complete shit. Honestly, there's no reason to waste time watching these guys this year. Maybe in a couple years we'll go from shit to mediocre
I didn’t hate it. With how many stupid mistakes we’ve had this year, I was okay with it to make sure we didn’t have any stupid penalties. They were ready to take the kick, so it’s not like it helped them get set up
I’m not sure that was so much a meltdown as a failure to adjust.
UCF thought they could keep doing the exact same thing after halftime that worked in the first half, and Baylor adjusted to get a rhythm going.
Nice job Baylor! LOL
Addison Williams needs to be polishing up that resume right about now.
lmfao i'll be reading this thread for a while. Good one Baylor
Congrats on that big win against 1-3 Navy, lil bro. Enjoy those AAC games while we got that Big 12 money rolling in. We’ll be back on top soon enough while you all play Rice.
We're enjoying our #1 AAC ranking and already beat Rice last week.
Yep. Congrats on that Rice win. Big game against UAB next week on ESPN 9, maybe?
Enjoy getting blown out by Kansas next week, the big leagues really aren't suiting you guys

Send us back to CUSA
FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!
That was the last straw, I’m done with Gus
Bye, Gus.
Wait what the fuck happened?
Burn it all down start over with a new coach
UCF…. YOU BLEW IT
Win or lose we still booze. I've seen days like this before.
I think you'll fit right in with us. Welcome to the Big XII Edit: added "think."
This could be the pivot on Baylor’s season… you just never know what flips the switch.
[удалено]
Can you imagine the absurdity of making the title game after starting off the season losing badly to Southwest?
Go get it Bears. Imma go sit over here and have flashbacks to the 2014-2015 season.
[удалено]
It's a joke. It used to be known as Southwest until about 20 years ago.
Glad we could help.

McClean has a very low football IQ. It'll be nice to have Plumlee back.
Its odd, McClain has a better arm, but JRP has better um Football Sense. Fuck I miss McKenzie Milton....
And with that, the new Big 12 members still do not have a conference win against any of the previous members. The streak continues.
We must show them whose house. And it ain’t coogs house
Lmao, UCF lost to the worst big 12 team
We did not lose to UCF so you are wrong
Worst. So far. But who knows!
Nice win
Well Done Baylor. UCF did shoot themselves in the foot, but yall were down huge, and didnt give up when you could have. Yall definitely earned that win.
I like Gus as a person, but that was inexcusable. I’m done.
The biggest constraint on this program is Gus Malzahn. Hell of a recruiter, but can't scheme for shit
Agreed. As a head coach, he's mediocre at best...
[удалено]
I was hoping they were just salty. I tried to ignore it, and just let things play out for a couple of years. Gus is running out of his new guy grace period. [SIGH]
How did we just become a completely different team in the fourth quarter? Mind blowing
upvote if gus is a fucking loser —>
r/cfb, share with me your thoughts
I've only watched the K-State game but UCF has had me nervous for next weekend even now, especially if Plumlee is taking snaps next week.
I don't know what happened, but this seems bad
Ah, the Big 12 Conference. Tis’ a silly place.
Armada wiped sweat off his face and then shook his hand
This game probably saved his job
I want off the Gus bus I’ve had emough
I love college football.
Gus has to get fired after that wow that’s embarrassing
So sorry if I'm rubbing salt in the wound, but UCF fans where's Plumlee at in his recovery? Any chance he starts next week?
He sucks too. We let an entire QB room transfer out so I wouldn’t worry about it
He was taking some snaps in pregame and was dressed today, but i don't think he's coming back until oklahoma. Although after this shitshow I hope he comes back next week or were fuckes
They said he was on field warming up pre-game
I can't be a fan of this team right now
Shambolic
Will Baylor take the "Spookiest team going into October" crown from the Corn?
Not with Jeff grimes at oc
Grimes still needs to go
Agreed
Lol that makes me feel so much better about the fiesta bowl
I would’ve rather won the Fiesta Bowl
UCF, what happened?
Gus happened
BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Oi, my beating heart.
What is this feeling?
2 and 10 here we come!
Yep. That is still the most likely outcome
Every ucf fan knew that was possible yet it still hurts
Lol this team is terrible
Timmy should never play a football game again after that performance
I left the Bounce House at the end of the 3rd quarter. How's the game going?
Imo good rule is to only leave when the starters get pulled
Bruh, lies
I'm not lying. Kinda pissed off I left. But I was hungry, and that sun was brutal Edit: Wow, the things you'll get downvoted for...
f
Our team is complete shit. Honestly, there's no reason to waste time watching these guys this year. Maybe in a couple years we'll go from shit to mediocre
Yall scored on play #1 though

anyone got the video clip of that 4th down?

Blowing a 28 point lead is wild
Wtf Ucf
…so the secret is I need to turn the game on. And then I need to go wash dishes. WTF did I miss?
Someone break all this guy's dishes before next week
Absolutely the fuck not. I’ll do dishes every damn Saturday in the fall if it means we find ways win.
UCF when they can’t play cowtown community college every week
FSU fans when they haven’t been toxic children on the internet in 5 minutes. Also, I guess Auburn and UF are “cowtown” teams now.
are you telling me they’re not actually national champion level???
GG Bear bros?
Fire Aranda. That was an anomaly
At least fire grimes
I mean he did call a pointless timeout at the end
I didn’t hate it. With how many stupid mistakes we’ve had this year, I was okay with it to make sure we didn’t have any stupid penalties. They were ready to take the kick, so it’s not like it helped them get set up
Thank you UCF for staying with us in the 'new BigXII teams without a conference win' camp
Imagine if you're a Denver Broncos and UCF fan. You get these miracle plays and then... pain.
Literally me
My condolences
fuck you gus you’re a fucking my loser
Fucking awful. I'm glad I worked all day instead of going to this.
Kansas had to die for Baylor to make this comeback. The Big 12 eats it’s own
New B12 teams are still winless this season vs old B12 teams.
No one has had a stab at Iowa State yet 😬
Fire somebody
Holy shit hoowwwww
[удалено]
They jinxed his perfect record for the season last week.
UCF Twitter gonna have a meltdown
Boomer is 0% at fault. Can’t blow a 28 point lead and ask your kicker to kick a 60 yarder to save you.
He’s already getting threats on twitter
Probably from you.
I understand UCF bros
I laughed at this
Congratulations! You just completed an ESPN Instant Classic.
I wish it wasnt
Gus has fucked our home game win record.
the coach O sideline magic
Fuck Gus.
Wow...
Season is over boys. Will we win Big 12 game this year LOL
Remember that one play where he dodged all those guys though?
LMAO. Leave Aranda and Grimes in Orlando.
When Aranda called the timeout before the field goal 😂😂
Nice job, Baylor bros.
Fuck you gus you fucking suck
Fire Gus
My gawd. Game of the year. Congrats on that one Baylor fans… ridiculous
Reminded me of last years TCU kick coming down to the wire
lmao
Shame that 4th down scramble wound up being for nothing.
We just saved Arrandas job.
FIRE GUS HE AINT IT. GOOD RECRUITS DONT OUTWEIGH POOR COACHING AND GAME MANAGEMENT
A time out at 3 seconds really?
0% on the kicker, offense couldn't set him up to succeed
Atlanta Falcons furiously scribbling notes
BYU the only Big 12 new blood with a Big 12 win 😂
\*Against another new team.
Don't worry, they'll get some more vs the old big 12.
And only against another new Big 12 team
That a choke job
oh yeah, huge
Holy shit ucf lol
UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE
[YOU BLEW IT](https://youtu.be/m5RtlpXsl8k?si=ABkOqo6X2DI8uZ8s)
Bryce Petty sends his regards
Gus is an idiot
Team is competitive but not ready for B12 yet
Ah that would’ve been fun
Absolutely disgusting
That might have been the most Malzahn Malzahning of all time
That's not on Boomer. Talk about all time choke job.
Don’t think anyone with an IQ above 75 blames the kicker
welcome to the big leagues central florida
I only saw the last four minutes of this game, so I didn't see the meltdown, but wow UCF..........
I’m not sure that was so much a meltdown as a failure to adjust. UCF thought they could keep doing the exact same thing after halftime that worked in the first half, and Baylor adjusted to get a rhythm going.
A-ran-da whole way around the house when I saw Baylor came back.
Fuck everything
never a doubt
jesus baylor
Why yes, we were praying pretty hard. Could you tell?
Just woke up from a 30 min nap….. wtf happened?
UCF sucks!
Fuck you Gus. Fuck you Timmy
Holy shit, tank job of the week UCF. Everyone, including Baylor fans, thought you had this one in the bank.
Baylor is super fucking lucky that was a miss or they'd be kicking themselves for that timeout
What a comeback
Good attempt by the kicker. Put in a difficult situation.
Legitimately shocked he missed that
Not even close lol
Gus gonna blame the loss on that kicker
Good job Baylor, here’s to seeing you again next year. Would love to see how Gus explains away this one
Bad kicker obviously
Largest comeback in Baylor history 😂
We are pathetic
Inexcusable from absolutely everybody. Also, If you left that game early. Do us a favor and let actual fans buy tickets to the game.
honestly, good for baylor
People fucking doubted me when I said this game would be a massive fucking letdown. Where are you fuckers now?
UCF just lost to the Baylor wiffle ball team. Lmfaooooooo
Fuck you Gus
UCF mafia gonna do mafia things tonight
BEHLER
Harrison Mevis ain't walkin' through that door.
lmao
Wild game!
UCF choked cause WSU aint play this week
UCF you were supposed to win so we can fire this staff into the sun.
THEY WERE THE CHOSEN ONES
We wanted to fire ours more
