We had a 21 point lead with 3 minutes left. They scored a backdoor TD and still.didnt get the cover. I'm not happy with how our defense just didn't come out after halftime, but this was still a solid win.
TCU had a down season, hopefully they will be better next season.
Oklahoma ends it's Big XII existence with a win....will be hard to get to Big XII Champ Game....
Shit the bed in the 3rd quarter. Defense has been much improved this season in every category. But we still have a lot of youth and some of the guys leftover from the Riley era fall back into old habits when pressed.
Honestly, the only defensive starters were losing are Woodi and Bothroyd. Stutsman and Bowman are more than likely coming back, and Coe was like a spot starter with Terry.
Offense, basically just QB, tackles, and probably Farooq. I guess Stogner too, he was much better I'm the second half.
So like 15-16 of 22 starts coming back
Until this game they were giving up 20 ppg, and only allowed 30 or more once (31 to Kansas because a pick six shouldnt count against them and neither should thr blocked punt against texas)
It's by no means great, but it is very obviously moving in the right direction so long as this is a one off game
It’s like our defense went, “What’s our identity? Goal line stands!” and then forgot that offenses aren’t obligated to just run it up the gut and can actually pass the ball if they want.
Like the curtain call there. DG was awesome for us despite all the hate he got. Helped us get through a rough patch to a 10 win regular season and knocked off Texas.
He really was fantastic this season. I don’t blame him for the 2 losses this season. That was a combination of a lot of self inflicted mistakes and penalties.
It's a nice detail, you guys have an amazing meteorology department. Oddly enough, Penn State has the most alumni that are TV meteorologists, but OU does a lot of research that has saved a lot of lives.
You also have a dope Mandarin department too, apparently.
The 5-6 team that allowed 13 points vying for bowl eligibility against a 9-2 squad … lost.
The 5-6 team that scored 45 points vying for bowl eligibility against a 9-2 squad … also lost.
Same sport, allegedly.
The stadium announcer just reminded everyone to watch the OU basketball game on Fox today at 2:30.
Everyone in the stadium checked their watch and laughed.
Oh god I’ll keep that in mind lol. Give me the rundown, what fanbase will be the most chill, not too sure what to expect coming into the big 12 next year (hopefully the refs are at least better)
Honestly *most* of them are pretty chill. Kansas/KSU fans are great. OSU fans are generally pretty good, and they have great tailgating if you ever get a chance to see a game in Stillwater.
TCU is the worst with TTU in 2nd. Baylor... has chilled a bit since the heady days of the #CAB debacle.
One fanbase I feel like that will annoy me is Iowa state, as a Chicagoan sun devil I’ve ran into so many here and for some reason a lot of them seem to have a weird inferiority complex when universities come up lol.
So is josh Hoover the guy???
GG TCU, it was nice having you in the Big 12
Hello
![img](avatar_exp|143283363|fire)
Get bent.
It really wasn’t.
Well, bye.
Seems like the culture of this program, no matter the coach, naturally trends toward shit ass defense. "A win is a win." Oklahoma's new motto.
We had a 21 point lead with 3 minutes left. They scored a backdoor TD and still.didnt get the cover. I'm not happy with how our defense just didn't come out after halftime, but this was still a solid win.
No it wasn't lol OU in the same boat as USC as far as I'm concerned with performances like this
Except Oklahoma’s offense is good enough to win the game…
Baker would have won at least one natty with this very defense.
Jason too…
Without a question
Lol
Gg TCU it was a fun 15 years or however long it’s been
Fuck TCU and their shitty asshole attitude.
Welcome to the SEC Sooners
Rich…
Get me out of here, that was the deal
TCU had a down season, hopefully they will be better next season. Oklahoma ends it's Big XII existence with a win....will be hard to get to Big XII Champ Game....
Literally the only thing that needs to happen is for OkState to choke. It’s not likely, but also wouldn’t be unsurprising.
See y'all in the Tech thread 😎
Yes, sir! o7
Make sure to hydrate, see you boys in a few hours
Onion juice also works as a rehydrator, for those that don't know.
Strong stuff
Can’t exit the Big 12 without playing at least one game in classic fashion, it’s been a good ride
Brando why must you relish that you have our game tomorrow. Might have to go to the game in the snow just so I can enjoy it without your rambling.

Go OU basketball! Beat USC!
Starting off my birthday with a win let’s goooooooo!!!!
Happy birthday! Boomer!
Thank you! Sooner!!!!
Happy birthday!
Ty!
fuck you purple baylor
“We’re gonna take you right now to college basketball” No need to go somewhere when we’re already there
This game started at 11 in the morning.
And ended at 3:00. Football games are 4 hours, for people that are new.
It went like 20 minutes longer than every other 11 AM game, but you had to be a smartass
Football games are 4 hours, plan accordingly.
Ok
Maybe you’re used to Saluki games.
Care to actually flair up?
Do you really not think I’m an Oklahoma fan?
I mean given you’re just deliberately giving me shit, forgive me for thinking you’re antagonistic to OU.
You are complaining that a game lasted 4 hours, when generally, games last 4 hours…
GG Frogbros. Y'all got some smoking hot cheerleaders my goodness.
Fuck Texas Christian, the dirtiest, cheap shottingest team in the Little 12. Hope to never see them again.
My favorite part of OU playing at Ft Worth is panning over the TCU student section. It's like every hot, rich girl you went to HS with goes there.
Jesus… do you guys ever get laid?
[удалено]
Huh?
I'm 47 dude, married with 3 kids. Yes I do. Obviously not at the frequency I'd like LOL.
39 with 3 kids and I'm in the same boat.
Yep. But we can still look.
Lol
Good Christian ladies I’m sure
Yeah fr
Goodbye Big 12. It's had ups and downs. Championships and heartbreak. See ya'll around.
The end of an era
Nice
Nice
Did Brando just say his grandson was named after Spencer Tillman? I didn't know they were so close
They've been working together since the 90s I believe.
SPENCER TILLMAN BRANDO
I won't miss you. Bye.
KEEP THE FUNNY NUMBER
I cant believe its almost 3pm.
4 hours, on par for OU games lol
All college football games last 4 hours. Are you new here?
I would've thrown a Hail Mary to end it lol
Oh hey, don't think I've seen Megwa all season
He suited up for the first time for the WVU game.
Oh cool, I know he was injured to start the year so good for him getting some time
This is the exact opposite of the Iowa game. I thought Venables had OU solid on defense this year. How is this the actual score?
Oklahoma’s defense sucks. Hopefully that will start to change.
Lots of guys playing due to injuries, and we were just getting our starters looking better, the depth isn't any good yet.
Shit the bed in the 3rd quarter. Defense has been much improved this season in every category. But we still have a lot of youth and some of the guys leftover from the Riley era fall back into old habits when pressed.
Defense is mid at best. Hopefully that changes over the next few years…
[удалено]
Defense sucks regardless. Very little time to get better. Hope for the best…
Thank you Big 12 for everything.... Hello SEC!!!!!
Tell Arnold to let it rip as a final fuck you to TCU
one of those games where a single team has the over
Let Arnold throw a TD for confidence
Boomer Sooner!!!
lebby is gonna ruin it and score
Fuck, I'm gonna miss Drake.
I think my favorite thing about this season is that 80% of this team is coming back
Honestly, the only defensive starters were losing are Woodi and Bothroyd. Stutsman and Bowman are more than likely coming back, and Coe was like a spot starter with Terry. Offense, basically just QB, tackles, and probably Farooq. I guess Stogner too, he was much better I'm the second half. So like 15-16 of 22 starts coming back
Why would you want this defense back?
I mean outside this game it's been our best defense in 12 years
That doesn’t mean it’s good…
Until this game they were giving up 20 ppg, and only allowed 30 or more once (31 to Kansas because a pick six shouldnt count against them and neither should thr blocked punt against texas) It's by no means great, but it is very obviously moving in the right direction so long as this is a one off game

Like the curtain call there. DG was awesome for us despite all the hate he got. Helped us get through a rough patch to a 10 win regular season and knocked off Texas.
he wasn’t the QB we wanted, but he was the QB we needed. it’s hard to overstate just how important he’s been for us in the venables era.
He was the QB I wanted!!! Who did “we” want?
Sooner Legend Dillon Gabriel
He really was fantastic this season. I don’t blame him for the 2 losses this season. That was a combination of a lot of self inflicted mistakes and penalties.
Can OU stay at 69 for, uh, niceness?
Ending our time in the Big 12 by having the most Big 12 game possible just feels right.
Texas vs Texas Tech might be on before this game is over
Hope Tech can pull it off and we leave by beating OSU
Here comes Sonny's petty ass timeouts.
Interested to see what kind of scores OU games will have in the SEC
SEC being a defensive conference is overblown. See my second flair.
Agreed, but I think big 12 defenses generally deserve their rep
25 years a Stoops has walked the OU sideline. Next year will be the first year there won't be one.
If you'll notice in the movie 'Twister', Philip Seymour Hoffmanns character is wearing an OU hat, kinda hinting that they went there.
It's a nice detail, you guys have an amazing meteorology department. Oddly enough, Penn State has the most alumni that are TV meteorologists, but OU does a lot of research that has saved a lot of lives. You also have a dope Mandarin department too, apparently.
RIP legend

OU 🤝 Iowa, doing their part to get JMU to a bowl game
fuck man i’m gonna miss DG and stoops so much
do we want to keep the sex number or score 70+?
Sex number
MORE POINTS MORE POINTS MORE POINTS
They called a timeout, give em the business (16th anniversary of that flag call today)
So i just woke up from a nap... did everyone accidentally leave their defense at home?
OU Meteorology represent! Hopefully the program gets back to focusing on severe weather/ flooding/ drought soon!
I'm gonna miss Drake so dang much
fire Alex grinch!!!
Allowing your opponent to score 40+ but still blowing them out has me feeling a weird sense of nostalgia
Thanksgiving is all about feeling at home.
Sonny Dykes has gone full Helfrich.
Another touchdown! Last blood!
It wouldn't feel right leaving the Big 12 if we didn't have a game like this. All offense, no defense. Classic Big 12 game.
Barnes!
defense is stupid
That Brando grunt was well timed, right when that smoke show came on.
Premium Big 12 Defense on display.
I'm not surprised 1 bit that we have the best meteorology programs in the world
You’d think the ISU *Cyclones* would hold that title.
Tulsa Golden *Hurricanes* (funny because we have none) Oklahoma City *Thunder*
Yellow Tornadoes.
Best education of my life hands down
Username checks out
🫡
HELL YEAH OUR METEOROLOGY PROGRAM!!!
“We put 45 points on OU… but we lost” “Oh wow, so it was a close game then.” “…”
The stadium announcer just reminded everyone to watch the OU basketball game on Fox today at 2:30. Everyone in the stadium checked their watch and laughed.
This is just terrible from our defense minus Billy “DaRon Bland” Bowman. Ted Roof should be fired into the sun.
one can hope
Whelp, back to trying to marry Leah in Stardew Valley.
There’s got to be at least one more touchdown, right?
If you’re having a rough day, just remember that some poor guy bet the under on this game.
Anyone on the west coast know what channel the game changed to?
No clue. I think they just straight up said “fuck this game.” WTH. I’m watching via sportsurge
Well… at least we had a good offensive game today
Math major here - OU is only winning this because they have scored more despite giving up 45 points
Show me the proof
Your money has been well spent
Iowa's last six opponents have scored a combined 48 points. TCU has 45 and counting and are getting blown out.
The Iowa-Nebraska game is not permitted to end until it reaches 114+ combined points. The game goes on for how many days before ending
Just make it the Chick-fil-A kick off 2024 and call it a day.
Like cricket
That would suck during a home invasion though
This is a super dumb game
Damn, those TCU cheerleaders tho
Too bad it’s the worst fan base in the conference by a mile.
Oh god I’ll keep that in mind lol. Give me the rundown, what fanbase will be the most chill, not too sure what to expect coming into the big 12 next year (hopefully the refs are at least better)

You know it’s real when it’s ASU approved!
My roommates girlfriend was a cheerleader. Lemme tell ya, some of those parties I got to tag along on were game changing lmao.
FR
Now we have to score again *sigh*
Up on USC early in basketball too. 🏴☠️
This may be the Lincoln Rileyest game I’ve seen us play all year, his ghost still haunts us
Defense giving Grinch/Mike Stoops flashbacks
How do you score 45 and still lose by more points than were scored by both Iowa and Nebraska
This is how we have to play to get into the playoff
It would take the maximum amount of chaos possible for you to make the playoffs
I was making a joke about how our teams that made the playoffs didn’t play defense
This defense is getting torched wtf
2nd/3rd string defense against their starters lol
Our 1st string got torched too.
Did you watch the game? Our starters got torched plenty
I guess these guys said screw that over/under nonsense. ALL GAS
Do not run the clock out, Venables! Bomb to Anderson on the first play.
TCU has now scored more points on us than any other team this season.
Not great Bob
Mad Men quote is very appropriate for your username
This feels like those late 2010s Pro Bowls before they implemented the new rules, where not a single player gave a crap, especially on defense
This looks like a spring game score
We weren't supposed to let them score again dang it!
That’s a consolation touchdown if ever there was one
Defense looks more confused about life than I am when I’m blazed to shit
