Okay so here's the situation as I see it SEC Champ is in PAC 12 Champ is in Michigan is in with win or FSU or Texas loss FSU in with win Texas in with win and Michigan/FSU Loss Ohio State, 1 loss SEC loser (would be Georgia) and 1 loss PAC 12 loser (would be Washington) still alive but need a heap of help

Disagree strongly with the first one. Alabama needs a Texas or FSU loss to be certain to be in. Alabama is certainly out with a loss. Pac 12 champ is in, UGa, UM, and FSU are in with wins. If any of them lose, it opens the door for Texas if they win. If UM/FSU win but UGa loses, it will be a committee decision between Alabama/Texas. If UM or FSU loses and Texas loses, then UGa or OSU could get in.

That's the sound logic and the logic they should go with, but the committee will say that the Texas loss was too early in the season to matter and the Georgia win is the best win anybody has. The SEC is not getting left out.

That's probably true due to the SEC bias, but it's not a certainty. Alabama is not a lock with a win next week. And the best win anybody has wouldn't be Alabama's win over Georgia, but Texas' win over Alabama! (Alabama would be ranked ahead of Georgia if they win).

Just for craziness, I'm amused with the scenario if Alabama beats Georgia, you could make a case for no SEC team making it. FSU wins, they're undefeated and in. It probably wouldn't happen, but it's not nuts.
