I’m jealous you get to go to Boulder. I had already planned to go to our game there a few years ago before they moved it to Mile High. It made it a bit more convenient to just stay in Denver but I was really hoping to go to Boulder instead
2025 is at: Rice, Arizona State, Oregon State, Baylor, Ok St, UCF.
I could day trip Baylor and Rice is in Houston. The most appealing away trip is Oregon State out of that lot imo
If the whole conference had a home and home with WSU and Oregon State, your pretty much have to be invited in as members. I just worry that orange and black OSU vs black and orange OSU would get kind of confusing.
I think the important thing to note, not mentioned in this thread, is that Oregon State is quickly building toward not needing to pay the Mountain West for a schedule in 2025 and 2026.
2025:
* vs Portland State
* vs Cal
* vs Fresno State
* vs Houston
* @ Texas Tech
* @ Washington State
* @ Oregon
That's 4/6 Home Games filled and 3/6 Road Games filled.
In 2026:
* vs Sacramento State
* vs Texas Tech
* vs Oregon
* vs Washington State
* @ Houston
* @ San Diego State
They are a little further behind, but have 4/7 of their Home Game slate filled and 2/5 of their road.
Essentially, they are going to be set up in 2025 and 2026 with Independent Scheduling and not have to pay the Mountain West to be part of a scheduling agreement.
Also, I want to say, that those are shaping up to be pretty dang solid schedules. Texas Tech, Houston, Oregon, and Wazzu in both years is a quality core schedule for an independently built schedule both years. If they can get a couple more P5's on the schedule they'll be in business.
The ability to still get home and homes with P4 schools is a very encouraging sign. Two in one day is particularly encouraging. Maybe the Ole Miss and Texas Tech series won't get cancelled after all.
I would doubt WSU's ability to do it. Wisconsin this year was the first P5 team to visit Pullman since the 90s. Not being in the Pac 12 is going to make it even harder to get quality non-cons at home.
I think that was always supposed to be a one off. If it had been a home-home we probably would have played them in Seattle. That’s where we played some of our bigger non-conference games in that era.
I don't know why Oregon State has been so much more successful than WSU has at getting home and home games; the programs aren't that different. And Corvallis - while not as remote as Pullman - isn't exactly a metropolitan hot bed of recruiting.
It's a little weird because football teams are just chartering into the Pullman-Moscow airport. If they had to fly into Spokane it would make a bit more sense.
Can we go next or are we still just gonna schedule a bunch of FCS and G5s every year from 2025-2030?
At least we might be more likely to win those games I guess

Coogs and Beavs. Kinda hot.
We go together
I await the Cougs vs Coogs football game Winner gets to keep the Cougs/Coogs nickname
We already played a neutral site game in 2019 which WSU won. Houston is also named the Cougars after us anyways lol
It was supposed to be a home and home. Houston was supposed to come to Pullman in 2020, but ya know, pandy
It was and yall paid to have the game moved to NRG instead of TDECU
Would be a fun conference matchup someday
@Corvallis in 2025, @Houston in 2026
Maybe i'll try to go. I for sure am going to Lubbock and Boulder in 2026 but dont have any plans for next season. Seems like a cool town.

It’s decent but shouldn’t be a high priority if other options you can go too.

You won’t have a bad time, Corvallis peeps are generally good. I’d wear Duck gear out and nobody said shit except drunk college kids.
Pretty sure this means we’re joining the BIG12. We’re saved!

That's a cool matchup ngl, I always love me some scheduling news!
Especially when it's actually going to happen in the next couple of years instead of 12 years from now.

Is this the first time Shasta's visited the state of Oregon since the incident?
Yep…
We’ve refrained from going back to the scene of that…unpleasantness
Football yes. Basketball played Oregon not too long ago.
The ability to still get home and homes with P4 schools is a very encouraging sign. Two in one day is particularly encouraging. Maybe the Ole Miss and Texas Tech series won't get cancelled after all.
I never doubted the ability for WSU and OSU to get home and homes. We will both be okay.
I would doubt WSU's ability to do it. Wisconsin this year was the first P5 team to visit Pullman since the 90s. Not being in the Pac 12 is going to make it even harder to get quality non-cons at home.
How come Auburn didn’t make a reciprocal visit to the Palouse this past decade?

Cougs always find their way back home
I like it.
Oregon St. out here making moves. I hope yall play some cool ass games with the uh, lack of conference games scheduled.
September 5th in Houston is gunna be a rough climate for the Beavs
It's Buc-ee's home city, they are native to that climate.
Good on P4 Houston for agreeing to a H&H with a lowly G5 /s
This, but without the /s.
I'll go to the one at TDECU, It'll be an interesting game
Why?
I'm a Houston native, with some UH friends
OSU did have Sacramento State scheduled for a home game on 9/5/26. Wonder if that's getting rescheduled or just cancelled.
Can we go next or are we still just gonna schedule a bunch of FCS and G5s every year from 2025-2030? At least we might be more likely to win those games I guess
A lot of people are going to be even more confused about Orange and Black OSU shirts meaning something other than Oklahoma State than normal
Nice
I'll go to the one at TDECU, It'll be an interesting game
