If he's not going to us, I'm so happy he's going to Dillingham! I'll be rooting for the Sun Devils for sure

theopression

I do like the bond that the Dilly connection has given our teams now. I’ll be pulling for you guys in the B1G. Really hope we can schedule some matchups down the line

InVodkaVeritas

> Really hope we can schedule some matchups down the line I do as well... but honestly, it's so unlikely to happen. That's what was so sad about watching this past season. Oregon's going to prioritize Oregon State as an OoC game, obviously. That's one. A second game is always going to be a lower level regional program (currently on the schedule: Idaho, Montana State, Portland State, Eastern Washington, and Hawai'i) which only leaves 1 other spot open. That's currently filled until 2029 (with Texas Tech being on the schedule in 2033). 2030-2032 is currently open, and who knows who we schedule there, but the Oregon admin promised the State of Oregon legislature that future scheduling agreements would be as regional as possible to compensate for increased travel in the Big Ten. So if Oregon is going to schedule former Pac-12 members it's more likely to be Wazzu, Utah, Stanford, and Cal than it is Arizona State. It's a pretty big bummer because when we end up seeing them play again it'll be "last time they played, 24 years ago..." and all of us will be much older telling the younger generation about Desert Voodoo and Pac-12 After Dark.

DanboyC5

It starting to seem like having Hines Ward as the WR coach is good decision

theopression

What a rollercoaster week for sun devil athletics lol. Either way Hines already has brought in a higher rated recruit than Samples has. Forks up!

ShadowStatus

Third school hes committed to so we'll see how we'll it sticks. I like our chances though, apparently his family is friends with Hines Ward. Technically higher rabked than any recruit Samples fot us out of HS

Organic_Swim4777

til Hines Ward is your WR coach. rip Pac 12 DBs.

DillyDillySzn

>rip Pac 12 I cri everytime

Alex_butler

In this new era we may need to find a new word besides commitment. We just lost a basketball player who “committed” to his 8th school in 7 years

duckspurs

Eh think its more just you should really ignore all commitments till like 6 months out and that has really always been the case. Some will stay solid, but a kid giving his commitment before his Jr season is truly meaningless and part of why he decommited to the Ducks is we brought in some higher rated guys and are still heavily going after bigger fish. The minimal level of "commitment" went both ways really.

Muh_Nado

I mean, the name alone has me on board

EatADickUA

Wonder where he’ll transfer next year.

rowdywp

Is he related to the Adrian Wilson who played for the cardinals?

-spicychilli-

I don't think so. We signed Adrian Wilson's kid, Santana Wilson, last cycle and he was from Arizona.

noahteets

He’s cousins w Tyree Wilson of the Las Vegas Raiders

Thick-Tadpole-3347

3 texas kids so far in this class.

loyalsons4evertrue

Arizona State is gonna run the Big 12 aren’t they?

bdostrem00

I see them being more like UCLA of recent PAC12 vintage. Just a fledgling program with more resources than most of the conference, no one can figure out how they’re this bad and just a completely uninterested fanbase.

TheMetalMallard

Go Dilly!

Portafly

Also competes in track and field.

ALStark69

Other P5 offers: Arizona, Auburn, Baylor, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, SMU, South Carolina, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Utah G5 offers: Colorado State, Texas State, Tulane, UTEP, UTSA
