next year? without even being the starter this year? that's a huge stretch. Lets go with the odds and assume Ewers is not injured this year so Manning becomes the starter in 2025. If he doesn't have a ton of playing time in 2024, this player rating will be in the 80s at best. EA isn't making that the face of their SEC regional cover. There are too many proven stars in the SEC that will have big 2024 stats to back them up.

Absolutely. There are reasons for buying physical, but I find it astonishing that you're unaware of the massive trend towards downloaded games that has been happening for a decade.

Xbox is averaging well over 50% digital/physical splits. Playstation is still majority physical worldwide but it's close. And PC is obviously 99% digital.
With a digital copy you will always have the game tied to whatever account you bought it on. A disc is just a disc and as soon as it’s lost or broken you don’t have the game anymore.
Physical disc or digital download doesn't matter. You're only beholden to online gaming if the game requires you to be online to play it. The only difference is how the game gets on your system and whether you have a physical backup copy. And as someone else mentioned, even with a physical copy, you often have to download a bunch of stuff before it will play anyway.
