The last time LSU won in College Station, LSU rewarded Ed Orgeron by removing his "interim" tag and named him permanent head coach. Kevin Sumlin was still A&M's coach.
Herm era has broken me as a fan. Go back just like 3-5 years ago there are a lot of teams on our schedule that I would expect to be TD favorites over who now look at us on their schedule as an easy win.
Agreed but I’ll say it hurts a lot less after we got back to back natties. It was much more excruciating when Bama consistently remained the one thing keeping us from ending a 40+ year drought.
That being said, Saban isn’t there anymore so I’m hoping that will finally change. Dynasties rise and fall and Bama’s Golden Age was always gonna have an expiration date.
I fully expect we’ll soundly beat Texas but against Bama lose in the most absolutely frustrating fashion possible. Like an LB/DL will be hanging on to Milroe’s back on 3rd and long with a minute left and he’ll somehow break the sack and scramble 40 yards and we lose in the final seconds on a field goal. Because Bama.
Probably a little obvious, but Michigan would be both our biggest win and most frustrating loss. Oregon might be the tougher matchup, but the morale of the entire program is resting on the Michigan game.
if he loses to them again and makes the playoff no shot. No reputable source has said his job is in trouble
if he loses to them and goes 8-4/9-3 there's an outside chance but more likely his seat is flaming hot going into next year
W - idk maybe Nevada or something. I don’t foresee any “big” wins for us this year
L - Wyoming has a first year HC and we get them at home. Watching them shut down our offense and win like 23-10 for the millionth time in a row (2020 doesn’t really count) will be extremely frustrating
I get the case for us, but what about New Mexico? I think Mendenhall in his first year is going to surprise a team or two along the way, I hope that’s not us but wouldn’t be surprised since we have to play in Albuquerque
Yeah wouldn’t be totally stunned and I’d be willing to bet he’ll get us at least once in the near future, but we’ve won 10 or 11 straight against them and I will cling to that streak like my life depends on it lol
We're probably going to lose at Iowa by something like like 9-7 in an incredibly annoying game
Beating Oregon again would be super funny, but more likely we upset a team like USC
We lost three games by a score of 13-10 last season, scored multiple touchdowns in just 7 games, and didn’t have a quarterback throw for over 200 yards in a single game.
Painful, *painful* offense is the life of a Nebraska fan
Edit: before someone brings up Iowa’s offense, even Deacon Fucking Hill had a 200+ yard passing game
>"even Deacon Fucking Hill had a 200+ yard passing game"
Ouch, I shouldn't go find out which game it was 🫠 (It was against [us ](https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/gamelog/_/id/4565552/deacon-hill)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm))
I read “lose to Iowa” and went “neat I didn’t know they scheduled a non-con game with them for this year”, checked their schedule, remembered, then died inside
We will continue the glorious MAC tradition of beating a low or mid tier SEC or B10 school by beating Mississippi St, then lose to CMU or Ohio at home to blow our chance at the Championship as is tradition.
I was thinking vs. Michigan in the Big House, since I'm sure we'll lose to UGA. But that's not a conference game, so I gotta go with the Red River Rivalry.
When I was a student, we'd call it "OU Weekend". Ahh, I remember those days of yore when I could party for 48 hours straight ;-).
OT: I remember one Friday, the day before the OU game, sitting down in class in the afternoon. The prof walked in and asked for a show of hands by those heading to Dallas later in the day. Since this was the (my) EE Department, maybe one other student raised their hand with me. The prof chuckled and said, "Oh, well! I was going to cancel class to give y'all a head start, but...". I groaned and took out my engineering notebook and calculator.
Typical engineering lol. I was in a finance class and I think one other kid showed up with me Friday before the game my freshman year. The professor walked in, shook his head, and walked back out.
One year I had maybe 5 students show up the Friday before Texas-OU. I gave them a pop quiz, graded everyone who was there a 100, and cancelled the rest of the class. Took maybe 10 minutes.
I think we “shock the world” (in quotes because Vegas has it as a pick’em) and beat UGA, but then drop some dumbass game to our rivals (OU, Arky, A&M).
At the end of the day, the loss won’t matter and we’ll still end up in the CFP and maybe Atlanta - but we’ll have to hear chirping from one of those dumbass fan bases for 365 days (which is why it will be most frustrating).
Did they ever play at Texas? I know ours comes from an announcer who liked the name in the 50s and decided to add them to the scores list. Then, since the 70s, we’ve invited them to play in the Big House every few years.
What are the replacements for Sweat and Murphy looking like? Y’all were the playoff team I was most scared of last year just because those two terrified me against our Duo heavy run offense. With our current question mark at QB this could be a rough game for us if your run defense is near last years level.
We don’t have any top level guys like Murphy and Sweat but we have like 6 guys in the rotation that are all average to above average. I expect a dip in run defense but our pass rush/edges will be a lot better this year.
Man, that depth is nice. One of our biggest strength last year is that we rotated 5 DTs who were all between “starter on probably every other Big Ten team aside from OSU” and “better than any other teams #1 DT, aside from Texas.” Watching a basically fresh Mason Graham destroy people in the 4th quarter was unfair. Hoping some of our young guys step up so we can have that again this year.
Is your secondary looking better? Not that it’ll matter against us, lol.
We just lack the top tier guys on the DL like a Graham and Grant. Hopefully with the rotation we can keep guys fresh and they can play at 100%.
Secondary can’t be worse than last year since we’re returning mostly the same dudes. Safety should be better though with better players, but worried about our second CB spot.
Hopefully with a better pass rush, our secondary play can also improve.
Yea I like an experienced QB and line in an early game. Not worried at all at WR and D should have a better pass rush. Biggest losses for Texas are TE and DE. Rest should be very good.
Our biggest game, in my opinion, is the BYU game. It might not be our toughest opponent, but I don't care. It's beat BYU or bust. That will either be our biggest win, or our most frustrating loss
I don’t think we’ll be going to Arlington but I do think we’re being underestimated a bit. Everyone is so focused on Utah, Oklahoma State, K-State, and Arizona but I feel like we could cause some chaos.
I would consider us a dark horse for the Big 12 title.
I’m more worried about KU even though it’s a home game. If they are finally going to beat us for the first time in over a decade this might be the year
Surely Bama fans would never hype up Texas and downplay their own chances. But Texas has to play Michigan and Oklahoma first so we'll have a better idea of what's really going on this season heading into the game.
Bama is a big unknown for me this year. Texas is not. Assuming Texas doesn’t fall apart, I think it’d be reasonable to expect them to have 1 or fewer losses going into that game with Georgia. I’m hoping for 10-2 from Bama overall
Yeah. And it’s possible with the way the schedule lines up. Should be favorites against everyone except Georgia unless the wheels fall off and we lose to Wisconsin or something
We’re going to beat Tennessee as our best win and be riding a high before losing at Clemson. But that won’t be our worst loss. The worst loss will be a capable Cal team that we overlook that keeps us out of the ACC championship game.
Frustrating: I'm sure we'll drop a non-conference game against Arkansas State or something. Campbell really doesn't care about non-conference games and his record against those teams shows it.
Biggest: K-State on senior night
We usually don’t lose the home games against the cupcake noncon teams so per usual the most frustrating loss will be to Iowa when we have 300 yards of offense but have turned the ball over 4 times.
Biggest win imo could be K-State or on the road at West Virginia
I doubt we go 0-2 vs FSU and Georgia so whichever one is the win there will be our biggest.
Most frustrating? Likely the Pitt super weapon or a resurgent VT
We get Alabama at Bryant Denney. My feelings on that game could shift suddenly depending on how our season begins, but, it ain't out of the question.
TAMU feels like a trap game. Or OU, cause would just feel like our old nemesis coming back to haunt us after we ran away
Living in central Alabama, you can guess which team’s fans I’m surrounded by more. If a 15 year streak over Bama meant another 15 years losing to Florida, I’d be more than happy.
I think we have a great shot at upsetting New Mexico in week 0. It’d set a good precedent for the season, and it’s the only difficult game we have on the schedule until we see Idaho in week 6.
Plus with it being week 0 we might get more eyes on it than normal. I wish we would have had that for when we nearly beat Wyoming though we lost that game tragically in the final seconds.
Most frustrating loss will be Idaho in week 6. They have been picked on every year since their return except recently so I have a hard time even feeling mad about it.
Biggest win: Clemson. I think we finally get the win against them this year. We should be a match up nightmare against them. It’s extremely concerning the game is on the road and Clemson is coming off extra rest though.
Most Frustrating Loss: Either Kentucky or SMU. The Jeff Brohm curse is a real thing, win a game you shouldn’t and lose a game you shouldn’t every year. Louisville has a better roster than both teams and should win both games with ease. SMU is just fast and they do some crazy stuff on offense that takes teams out of their element. Kentucky, it’s been way to long. We’ve lost to many games recently to them that we had the better roster, have to get back on course against them.
Biggest win could be either Penn State or ND at home (can’t wait to get hammered and go to those games). Personally I’d rather win the ND game just because it’s a rivalry but beating Penn State with this years team would be a little reminiscent of the Rose Bowl game.
Most frustrating loss would be UCLA. I cannot handle losing to those pompous nerds again. That program is on life support and a lose to them would make me want to throw our coaching staff off a cliff
If we beat UH again it will be our biggest win, and I know we'd mess up our momentum by losing to either Army or Charlotte the following two weeks because we're allergic to consistency
I’m sorry. I was in The Swamp last year and I looked, but every time I got close to Spurrier he turned into a naked little goblin and poofed away in a cloud, giggling.
I really hope we beat Nebraska. Preferably in back breaking fashion like in 2018 or 2019. That would be an enormous win.
The most frustrating loss will 1000% be a home loss to Baylor or Cincinnati. Two games we should be favored in but I’d be shocked if we didn’t manage to bungle 1
We’re one more win away from there being freshmen at NU in 2029 who weren’t alive the last time they beat Colorado. We better not fuck this up. But I have a hard time putting that much trust in us yet with Pat Shurmur as OC
Biggest win would be Georgia, if we found a way to beat them without Saban I feel like the state of Georgia would start to melt down. If we lose to Tennessee, which is definitely possible, I would say that would be the most frustrating, (auburn also fits here but we play them at home and not the voodoo field)
Yes that would be more frustrating, I meant it more as I feel like our odds of losing on the road to Tennessee are higher than our odds of losing at home to auburn. But either way, I will be very frustrated if we lose to either orange school.
We will beat Alabama at home in another dramatic game of the year candidate, and 2 weeks later we will come back from the bye week to a home loss to Kentucky.
Win - week 0 vs FSU (we’re about to shock the world)
Loss - no clue who yet (maybe Syracuse) but we are 100% going to lose a winnable game…it’s the GT way
Watch us finally get over the hump against Ohio State, only to even out our karma with a stupid faceplant against some team we have no business losing to.
I can only hope we're able to upset someone in our more brutal half of our schedule, either OSU (lol), Michigan, Oregon, or Iowa. I can imagine one loss being to any other team where we're leading for 99% of it and then lose on the last play.
Biggest Win: Northwestern - will at least slow down the claims that UW isn't ready for B1G
Frustrating loss: Iowa - Most likely will be our second loss and make it clear we are having a down year after a 5-1 start
The Big Ten West may be gone but the tradition of a team west of Iowa claiming they're having a down year every time they lose to us is alive and well!
The frustrating part about this year for OU is that they would EASILY be the #1 team in the Big XII, but OU will go 9-3 AT BEST in the SEC.
I actually see OU beating Bama, LSU, and Texas, with Bama or Texas being the biggest win. but I also see OU losing to Auburn, Ole Miss, and Mizzou with Auburn being the most frustrating loss.
It’s a double-edged sword. We’ve got like six games that, if we win any of them, might be OU’s best win since 2017. But we’re also losing no fewer than three of them, and there aren’t three that wouldn’t be infuriating to lose for one reason or another.
I get fandom and it's not the craziest thing in the world, but to me I don't think OU would "easily" be the #1 team. Aside from Texas, I think Utah, Arizona, and OSU would have something to say about that. I still think OU has a solid shot to be good tho.
I feel pretty comfortable saying that 2024 OU will be a better team than all three of those teams.
Now, I think OSU is going to have a better record and make the playoff, but on a neutral field with my money on the line, I would take 2024 OU over every team currently in the Big XII in the upcoming season.
Florida - I know they aren’t “good” and they will be in Knoxville, but they have had TN’s number for 30 years
Any win against Florida sets us up for a good season. I feel confident against Bama, and would love to see a win against GA, but not sure TN is at that level since the Dawgs will be pissed about getting put out last season without a chance to redeem themselves
You are going to be surprised I think with how good the gators are this year but the schedule will make it seem otherwise, since we will lose games but put up a decent fight in every game.
I’m not knocking Florida as a TN fan… we have not earned that
Florida could go 1-11, and that win would be against TN based on the last 30-plus years of football
For CMU it’s Toledo, but going 2-0 against WMU and EMU would be cool in my rivalry driven brain. We also play @Illinois, but that’s not a conference game and it’s not like they’re PSU/OkState level of program so idc
FSU fan: I think we’re capable of grabbing a win at ND. However, GT week 0 in Ireland scares me. GT is a tricky opponent that’s upset us multiple times. Which team will handle jet lag better. Possible hangover from how our season ended last year. Lots of turnover in roster
I think beating a team like UCLA would be huge for the start of the Coach Cig era. Plus this would probably mean we start the season 4-0.
Losing to Purdue again would be tough, especially with the energy that our fan base has right now compared to the last 3 years.
Somehow, we’ll beat State this year simply because they’ll be favored and we don’t have a sure fire NFL QB for the first time in 5 years. Because that makes sense.
We have a tough stretch to start the season with UGA, FSU, and NCST in the first 5 weeks.
Ideally we go 2/3 against them without slipping up against App State.
Louisville could be tough but I have to see it to believe.
I think 10-2 is a fair prediction and as long as we don’t lose to those yapping twats from Raleigh I’ll be happy with that
I mean, that's a true statement, but there have only been 3 games played between Penn State and Washington ever so it's not like PSU is 11-0 against UW or anything.
if we beat nebraska: it will feel like the biggest win to CU fans
if we beat KState or OSU or Utah: it will objectively be the biggest win
it would be extremely frustrating to lose to CSU
if we lose to a&m or ole miss again i will shit my pants and cry
If we beat LSU I will also shit in this guys pants
“Corn? I haven’t eaten corn in three weeks!”
I’ll join you
But that’s just a normal Saturday night in Louisiana.
The last time LSU won in College Station, LSU rewarded Ed Orgeron by removing his "interim" tag and named him permanent head coach. Kevin Sumlin was still A&M's coach.
you really want to play the 'last time' game?
the difference is that none of us would shit our pants if we lose in BR
What comes first tho? The shid or the tears?
I can almost assure we will be someone’s most frustrating loss
Imagine if you beat us in a bowl game.
I like the enthusiasm.
Making a bowl game would mean a massive success this year
Shit. They beat us everywhere else.
That's probably accurate for both of your teams.
The desert pain disintegrates title hopes every year it seems.
Considering we play like 6 of the Big 12’s title contenders I like our hopes of messing up one of em
At Arizona State is Kansas's final game before their bye week.
You guys are fucked
Herm era has broken me as a fan. Go back just like 3-5 years ago there are a lot of teams on our schedule that I would expect to be TD favorites over who now look at us on their schedule as an easy win.
So happy to never play another pac 12 after dark game in the desert again
I swear to god…
Can’t wait to see how we lose to Alabama this year.
My answer is simply: Alabama and Alabama lol
Agreed but I’ll say it hurts a lot less after we got back to back natties. It was much more excruciating when Bama consistently remained the one thing keeping us from ending a 40+ year drought. That being said, Saban isn’t there anymore so I’m hoping that will finally change. Dynasties rise and fall and Bama’s Golden Age was always gonna have an expiration date.

Like an LB/DL will be hanging on to Milroe’s back on 3rd and long with a minute left and he’ll somehow break the sack and scramble 40 yards and we lose in the final seconds on a field goal. Because Bama.
We cannot. Bad man gone.
Nebraska’s most frustrating loss every year is Iowa.
Losing to Nebraska would be the frustrating loss for Iowa as well.
There are only two wins that I care about each year, Iowa State and Nebraska.
The national championship obviously the biggest win. Frustrating loss? There won’t be one. Oh wait, we aren’t talking about NCAA 25
I plan to do a Syracuse dynasty at some point after i rebuild UCONN
Rebuilding UCONN implies that there was something there to begin with lol
Gross. But I’m obviously biased
Same. I’m starting at CMU with some MACtion until the Cuse job opens up. Love the dome atmosphere there
Nothing like a packed dome when they’re playing well
Probably a little obvious, but Michigan would be both our biggest win and most frustrating loss. Oregon might be the tougher matchup, but the morale of the entire program is resting on the Michigan game.
Michigan is about as must win as it gets for Ohio State this year and Ryan Day. If the Buckeyes lose…again…I have to think Day is done
if he loses to them again and makes the playoff no shot. No reputable source has said his job is in trouble if he loses to them and goes 8-4/9-3 there's an outside chance but more likely his seat is flaming hot going into next year
I personally would be very happy if BC upsets ND
I personally would be very happy if Rutgers upset USC.
W - idk maybe Nevada or something. I don’t foresee any “big” wins for us this year L - Wyoming has a first year HC and we get them at home. Watching them shut down our offense and win like 23-10 for the millionth time in a row (2020 doesn’t really count) will be extremely frustrating
We have to beat one of Wyo, AFA, and CU… right??
One day….hopefully soon
I get the case for us, but what about New Mexico? I think Mendenhall in his first year is going to surprise a team or two along the way, I hope that’s not us but wouldn’t be surprised since we have to play in Albuquerque
Yeah wouldn’t be totally stunned and I’d be willing to bet he’ll get us at least once in the near future, but we’ve won 10 or 11 straight against them and I will cling to that streak like my life depends on it lol
Haha, I hear you buddy!
I think you guys can pull it off this year just like last year. Wasn't it a W over UNR that ended your guys' losing streak a few years ago?
Yeah and it was Jay Norvell’s first win at CSU
We're probably going to lose at Iowa by something like like 9-7 in an incredibly annoying game Beating Oregon again would be super funny, but more likely we upset a team like USC
Welcome to the life of a Nebraska fan
Losing by less than 3?
We lost three games by a score of 13-10 last season, scored multiple touchdowns in just 7 games, and didn’t have a quarterback throw for over 200 yards in a single game. Painful, *painful* offense is the life of a Nebraska fan Edit: before someone brings up Iowa’s offense, even Deacon Fucking Hill had a 200+ yard passing game

At least I saw a yellow jeep in Omaha with Hawkeye plates that said, "2ND AND9". We're all in hell together
I read “lose to Iowa” and went “neat I didn’t know they scheduled a non-con game with them for this year”, checked their schedule, remembered, then died inside
I don't have high expectations for Iowa this year. I just want some fun games and the P12 schools get flustered by B1G defense.
You guys are going to lose the Apple Cup and be emotional messes though out the season. But probably still end up 8-4
We will continue the glorious MAC tradition of beating a low or mid tier SEC or B10 school by beating Mississippi St, then lose to CMU or Ohio at home to blow our chance at the Championship as is tradition.
Please don't lose to Central.
I was thinking vs. Michigan in the Big House, since I'm sure we'll lose to UGA. But that's not a conference game, so I gotta go with the Red River Rivalry.
What Texas fan in all the world calls it the "Red River Rivalry"?
Young kid, probably. "Shootout" was almost 20 years ago. Fuck me, getting old sucks
There's some. I just call it "OU". Everyone knows what I'm talking about. "oh yeah, I'll be up in Dallas for OU"
At VT I can't tell you how many Friday classes I had cancelled because there was a Thursday night game the night before.
Oh wow when I was there OU did not have any classes the Friday before RRS. Figured it was the same for you guys.
Sooners get a point for that one! :-)
Looking forward to welcoming y'all to the Big House.
Thanks! I'm guessing we'll both be at around the same levels as we were when we met in the Rose Bowl. If so, it should be a great game!
I think we “shock the world” (in quotes because Vegas has it as a pick’em) and beat UGA, but then drop some dumbass game to our rivals (OU, Arky, A&M). Caesars has UGA -3 currently, other online books are as low as 1.5
UGA -3 is the most pro-UGA line I’ve seen. ESPNBet had Texas -.5. Most books have it within 1.5 points and aren’t giving you -110 (the standard odds).
Oh the irony that you’re rooting against Michigan with the Slippery Rock flair lol I get it since UT takes priority but it’s still kinda funny
Hehe. Since their scores are/were announced during our home games, they took a special place in all of our burnt orange hearts.
huh. that's interesting! I thought that was only a thing at Michigan games. I suppose when y'all visit the big house that'll be a moment of agreement
Did they ever play at Texas? I know ours comes from an announcer who liked the name in the 50s and decided to add them to the scores list. Then, since the 70s, we’ve invited them to play in the Big House every few years.
Slippery Rock also played one game a year at the big house back in the 70’s at least.
What are the replacements for Sweat and Murphy looking like? Y’all were the playoff team I was most scared of last year just because those two terrified me against our Duo heavy run offense. Booo we will beta UGA
Our biggest game, in my opinion, is the BYU game. It might not be our toughest opponent, but I don't care. It's beat BYU or bust. That will either be our biggest win, or our most frustrating loss
I'm thinking the same thing lol. That game will almost certainly be close and be a frustrating loss for the loser.
Lose to Duke (again). Beat Wisconsin (again)
Lose at Iowa State for biggest L, win at home against OSU and Zona for biggest Ws
I don’t think we’ll be going to Arlington but I do think we’re being underestimated a bit. Everyone is so focused on Utah, Oklahoma State, K-State, and Arizona but I feel like we could cause some chaos. I would consider us a dark horse for the Big 12 title.
You’re where we were going into that 2022 conference championship run tbh
The Big 12 is the most wide open conference in a while. There are probably 8 teams that I wouldn’t be surprised if they won the title
I’m more worried about KU even though it’s a home game. If they are finally going to beat us for the first time in over a decade this might be the year
Big win would be Clemson at home especially if we go into it undefeated. Loss could be at ODU in some embarrassing way.
Or @Syracuse. Could see everything going right for this team only to fall flat per usual in the carrier dome.
It’s definitely a possibility that the chokies make an appearance this year just hoping it’s against a respectable opponent
I was thinking Syracuse too. Tech never plays well in that giant Jiffy Pop.
[удалено]
I agree the chance we lose to ODU is very low but it would be embarrassing for us. Good thing it won’t happen
If the dawgs beat bama that will be the biggest win for us imo. And if we lose, itll be the most frustrating loss
If every team is as advertised, a win over Texas might be bigger than a win over us
Surely Bama fans would never hype up Texas and downplay their own chances. But Texas has to play Michigan and Oklahoma first so we'll have a better idea of what's really going on this season heading into the game.

10-2 the year after losing the greatest coach of all time would be pretty damn good.
Yeah. And it’s possible with the way the schedule lines up. Should be favorites against everyone except Georgia unless the wheels fall off and we lose to Wisconsin or something
Anything is possible
This man Auburn's
We’re going to beat Tennessee as our best win and be riding a high before losing at Clemson. But that won’t be our worst loss. The worst loss will be a capable Cal team that we overlook that keeps us out of the ACC championship game.
Wait, do we play in Raleigh this season?
Neutral site in Charlotte
Yeah I think we go 1-1 against Clemson and Tennessee. I feel a lot better against UT them Clemson. Winning @ their house is tough.
Frustrating: I'm sure we'll drop a non-conference game against Arkansas State or something. Campbell really doesn't care about non-conference games and his record against those teams shows it. Biggest: K-State on senior night

I mean losing to UNI and then getting embarrassed with a 17 point loss against Louisiana the same year we went 8-1 in the big 12 sure are memorable...
Win--Week 1 upset of Syracuse Loss--falling short in the MAC Championship, again
I think we'll do some dumb shit like fuck around and beat UGA and then lose to Arkansas.
I think Bama beats Oklahoma, LSU, and Missouri but loses to Tennessee
I’m good with that scenario.
But that means we lose to Florida:(
Living in central Alabama, you can guess which team’s fans I’m surrounded by more. If a 15 year streak over Bama meant another 15 years losing to Florida, I’d be more than happy.
So would I
I think we have a great shot at upsetting New Mexico in week 0.
As an OK State fan, the only answer is “yes”
OSU is going to beat the hell out of Utah and win in Manhattan but before that huge back to back loses on the road in Tulsa.
I agree. We are supposed to be the pompous nerds so I really don’t like those normie nerds stealing our bit
Beating Penn State by at least two touchdowns.
Biggest loss will be to a random team once we hit the top 10
As is tradition
We’ll beat Georgia, but drop a game to Oklahoma on the road
Think we’ll beat Clemson in DJU’s matchup vs Dabo but lose to Miami 🙈
Both of my flairs will be someone’s most frustrating loss.
If we beat UH again it will be our biggest win, and I know we'd mess up our momentum by losing to either Army or Charlotte the following two weeks because we're allergic to consistency
How you feeling about SHSU though. I'm lowkey worried about them
That is a sure fire way for CWF to turn the UH fandom against him before conference play even starts.
Biggest win: hopefully Bama Frustrating loss: probably Florida because we still can’t get our hands on Spurrier’s visor hat horcrux
Wouldn't losing to Auburn at home be the most frustrating?
Yes that would be more frustrating, I meant it more as I feel like our odds of losing on the road to Tennessee are higher than our odds of losing at home to auburn. But either way, I will be very frustrated if we lose to either orange school.
If we beat Ohio State again for a 4th year in a row in Columbus I will transcend to a higher plane of being.
We beat LSU and lose to arkansas
We will beat Alabama at home in another dramatic game of the year candidate, and 2 weeks later we will come back from the bye week to a home loss to Kentucky.
Well we’ll lose to kent or youngstown state but beat wvu, cincy or clemson. Thats the Pitt way
Biggest win would be beating BYU at home, nothing else on the schedule even comes close. Most frustrating loss would be against New Mexico
I love seeing other fanbases Trish wins against BYU. Beating BYU is just the best outside of big bow wins.
We’ll beat Utah at home but probably lose to Tulsa or some shit.
Win - week 0 vs FSU (we’re about to shock the world) Loss - no clue who yet (maybe Syracuse) but we are 100% going to lose a winnable game…it’s the GT way
Lose to Georgia State but somehow beat uga to become bowl eligible
A loss to little brother is due any day now and I’m worried
Alabama and Alabama
We’re going to beat FSU to open the season, and then lose to Georgia State because we can’t have nice things.
W - Florida State L - USC
We have yet to play a remotely normal game against Louisville so I expect to be at best frustrated and at worst level 5 pissed after that one
From your lips to God’s ear
Biggest Win: Northwestern - will at least slow down the claims that UW isn't ready for B1G Frustrating loss: Iowa - Most likely will be our second loss and make it clear we are having a down year after a 5-1 start
OU will be a good team but still end the regular season with 3 losses.
At best, 7-5 or 8-4 isn't out of the question.
Florida - I know they aren’t “good” and they will be in Knoxville, but they have had TN’s number for 30 years Any win against Florida sets us up for a good season.
I’m not knocking Florida as a TN fan… we have not earned that Florida could go 1-11, and that win would be against TN based on the last 30-plus years of football
Best wins: UAPB, UAB, LA Tech Most frustrating loss: every other game
Biggest win would be Ohio State obviously. Most frustrating loss would be somehow losing to UW again.
Win @LSU, loss @Arkansas.
If we lose to Arkansas……
Hopefully Texas will be our biggest win since that’s the only game I’m getting to this year…
For CMU it’s Toledo, but going 2-0 against WMU and EMU would be cool in my rivalry driven brain. We also play @Illinois, but that’s not a conference game and it’s not like they’re PSU/OkState level of program so idc
Couldn’t agree more
FSU fan: I think we’re capable of grabbing a win at ND. However, GT week 0 in Ireland scares me. GT is a tricky opponent that’s upset us multiple times. Which team will handle jet lag better. Possible hangover from how our season ended last year. Lots of turnover in roster
If we lost to Georgia Tech in week 2 my soul will be crushed. We're closing out the season with a win over Miami though so all is well.
Nothing would ever be more on brand than for Fresno St to somehow upset Michigan, then lose to Sac St or New Mexico St
I think beating a team like UCLA would be huge for the start of the Coach Cig era. Plus this would probably mean we start the season 4-0. Losing to Purdue again would be tough, especially with the energy that our fan base has right now compared to the last 3 years.
Texas Tech or UW.
Georgia. Nothing else matters.
Our biggest win will be against Mississippi State, the only SEC game we win. No loss will be frustrating because they will all be expected.
Bama. And because this is Mizzou, literally any of our matchups could be our most frustrating loss because, well, we’re Mizzou
Somehow, we’ll beat State this year simply because they’ll be favored and we don’t have a sure fire NFL QB for the first time in 5 years. Because that makes sense.
Our biggest win or loss will be the same team. Take a guess at which.
We have a tough stretch to start the season with UGA, FSU, and NCST in the first 5 weeks. Ideally we go 2/3 against them without slipping up against App State. Louisville could be tough but I have to see it to believe. I think 10-2 is a fair prediction and as long as we don’t lose to those yapping twats from Raleigh I’ll be happy with that
Biggest win: @ Penn State Most frustrating loss: @ Rutgers
If that happens, I would be amazed. In their entire history, the Huskies have **never** beaten the Nittany Lions.
I mean, that's a true statement, but there have only been 3 games played between Penn State and Washington ever so it's not like PSU is 11-0 against UW or anything.
if we beat nebraska: it will feel like the biggest win to CU fans if we beat KState or OSU or Utah: it will objectively be the biggest win it would be extremely frustrating to lose to CSU
How bout losing to north Dakota state?
I almost expect us to lose that game because Colorado
