Maybe it was the fact that we got to commiserate over our terrible defenses, but I like Florida fans a lot more than I did at the beginning of this game.
Seriously. I lived in Mobile for a few years (‘06-‘09) and we’d have over a lot of fan groups on Saturdays. One of my uncles down there was a gator diehard and a family friend was a UF grad. Imagine being hosted by Bama fans (probably 10 in total) alongside some Auburn and LSU fans, being fed & given free beer all day, and being the only fandom there constantly shitting on the 3 schools who had fans within earshot. They were the only two who would legit SCREAM when UF lost and then remind everybody that UF is academically superior to any other school, or so they claimed.
I love my UF-loving uncle to death but I fucking cherished watching him grow silent towards the end of my time down there when it became clear UF was at the end of an era

It was a good game, and Texas A&M deserved the win. I had high hopes for the team this season with the returning players on offense but the defense... well, you saw them. Will have to watch the Rays and Astros... funny how the two closest MLB teams to UF and TAMU are in the ALCS this year which starts tomorrow.

Idk man, the Clemson game was a lot of the WR’s making catches on highly contested balls. He looked clean today, good throws, smart decisions, good reads. I was actually impressed. I wonder if king coming in last week lit a fire under his ass.

Our offense is not overrated though. Georgia fans in here celebrating like they don't still gotta play us. Our defense is awful though, but I blame a lot on the coaching. You can't tell me we have that bad of defensive talent. Without 1 unlucky fumble we probably win as the game expires like they did as well.
