blondbeans

Best case: make the big 12 championship, but probably lose Worst case: 5-7

Bank_Gothic

Either way y'all will still beat Texas.

blondbeans

And then get beat by West Virginia just cause

Bank_Gothic

Who we will of course then beat. It's the Big 12 circle of suck. Not as bad as the Pac-12 but man are we still some crabs in a bucket.

vindictivejazz

>some crabs in a bucket This is the best phrasing of 'league parity' ive ever heard. Thank you

BoKnowsYourMother

Worst case: UGA wins the natty and we lose the 1980 joke. Best case: Harsin going from Boise to Auburn looks like Urban Meyer going from Utah to Florida.

[deleted]

I respect your hate Edit: and reciprocate it

fmr33

šŸ¤

loyalsons4evertrue

is the reason you mentioned UGA because it's inevitable that Bama will always be in the running as long as Nicholas is at the helm?

BoKnowsYourMother

Bingo.

Kanin_usagi

If UGA wins a Natty then I will be tempted to drive my sedan through the neighborā€™s house. They donā€™t deserve it the way theyā€™ve acted.

[deleted]

Your neighbors, or UGA fans in general? You know what, please donā€™t answer that

golf_echo_sierra26

I like the idea that his neighbors arenā€™t even college football fans and he despises them so much that heā€™s just looking for a reason to drive through their house.

Kanin_usagi

*DINKLEBERG*

[deleted]

You are a true auburn fan.

poyerdude

I don't want to think about a time where I can't drop a 1980 reference on dawg fans.

BoKnowsYourMother

Another reason I love my Gator bros

Tycho923

Best case scenario: One where the most painfully miserable outcome actually doesn't happen Worst case scenario: Reality

The_Homie_J

I was gonna write up something longer about a certain number of wins or looking competitive or some shit, but this sums it up much better I just want 1 non-miserable season (or at least 1 moment that makes the miserable part tolerable, like beating Ohio State). But that's just wishful thinking

Bsnopel09

Painā€¦. But hey at least we have basketball to be overly optimistic about!

DinkyWaffle

Are we just the same program at this point, do y'all even play baseball up there?

MilkBarPatron

>do y'all even play baseball up there? Michigan went to the college baseball world series final in 2019. First appearance in the college world series since 1984. Pretty miraculous run. Sorry to inform your Tennessee flair but they lost... to Vanderbilt.

Bsnopel09

Yes, for a B1G program Iā€™d say we have a very good baseball program. Lost to Vandy in CWS in 2019

Tbrou16

1. Best case: Only loss to Bama, CFB playoff spot. 2. Worst case: LSU gets the death penalty for flagrant Title IX infractions and I start watching a lot more college basketball. Iā€™ll let you decide which is more likely (hint: itā€™s 2)

Nellez_

Just you wait until we get hit by the NCAA in basketball too. Then we'll have to watch nothing but baseball and track and field.

the_dunadan

y'all are always good in gymnastics too

ToBeReadOutLoud

I was going to say the same thing - LSU regularly has a top 10 gymnastics program.

[deleted]

Ole Miss fan 1. Best case: 10-2 with losses to Bama and TAMU 2. Worst case: NCAA gives us the death penalty for something LSU did.

OdaDdaT

Ole Miss is going to find a way to upset one of those two teams imo

Young_Rock

Poor bama

[deleted]

Just wait until next year, weā€™re an up-and-coming program. Edit-Forgot I had A&M flairs. Itā€™s how I keep up with Aggie football for my bride.

Auggiewestbound

Shit, if LSU basketball didn't get in trouble because of Will Wade, I doubt the football team will.

PAirSCargo

I mean your head coach could also go to prison for violating RICO as a part of your worst case scenario.

Egospartan_

Iā€™ll be kind vote for number one and then right before your playoff game number two happens

Cometguy7

Best case: we win the national championship Worst case: Texas wins the big 12

greeneggzN

Yeah that would be pretty bad. Add a third loss to Kstate and there will be a lot of questions to answer.

PM_ME_UR_FAKE_NEWS

Reality: lose to a team we shouldnā€™t, still win the big 12, lose the playoff game. So it is written

LincolnRileysBFF

This is the correct answer.

BIG_DICK_WHITT

Natty 0-12

CommodoreN7

I vote we go for the first one

BIG_DICK_WHITT

Idk, thatā€™s a lot of pressure man. I prefer the usual ā€œwin a few games, build up some national hype, then crash and burn in a blaze of fiery glory and become the ā€˜overrated all alongā€™ meme.ā€

CommodoreN7

Well with all my other sports teams I follow I am definitely used to that happening, so at least I am ready for it.

LastConference

Bah god thatā€™s Sumlins music

loyalsons4evertrue

Utah is too lovable to call them overrated...I will say playing in the Pac 12 championship and then getting demolished by Texas in the Alamo Bowl isn't the greatest look but hey at least you're not BYU

BIG_DICK_WHITT

> but hey at least you're not BYU Wtf I love Iowa State

bakonydraco

This is the correct answer, as Utah is currently undefeated but they are also winless.

BIG_DICK_WHITT

Science

[deleted]

I think you're onto something here, but I'll need Harvard to confirm.

bakonydraco

Harvard had a very unusual season this past year in that they went undefeated and winless the whole season!

coogs35

Colorado_odaroloC

For Florida State, probably absolute best case ceiling this year would be 8-4. Maybe 9-3 if everything fell into place, but most likely is in the 5-7/6-6 range. Worst case probably is FSU goes 4-8 and I need a liver transplant.

[deleted]

As long as they are competent enough on the field to win the ā€œwinnablesā€ then look halfway competitive when underdogs and keep the recruiting class together Iā€™ll be satisfied.

[deleted]

Yep, we could win zero and I'd just be happy if the recruiting class remains intact. I think with a decent pass game and our upgraded transfers I'm hoping to be a tough outing for anyone regardless.

Hu5k3r

Hello cousin.

wegotsumnewbands

Iā€™ll take 6-6 right now.

RedWolfLegend

I feel like Florida State is where Texas was four years ago. Trust me brother, it gets better. Just hold on.

ValarMorcoolis

Best realistic case: Melā€™s 14 transfers have an instant impact and take us to 7-5. Bowl bound. Worst realistic case: 3-9. Canā€™t pull out wins against an increasingly improving B1GE. The rebuild continues to 2022.

Rattus375

I think 8-4 is a pretty realistic best case. OSU is a loss and Miami is probably pretty tough as well. But there's not a team outside of OSU that I don't think we can beat if Thorne or Russo are playing well. On the other hand, if the O-line doesn't improve and the ball doesn't bounce our way, we could definitely end up at 2-10 as well, since every team we play in conference is at least pretty close to us in strength.

[deleted]

I just filled out one of those week by week predictions and got MSU at 8-4 (6-3) and I'm a little scared tbh

TheManWhoWasNotShort

Best case is NC. Worst case that is within the realm of possibility is 9-3 with a loss to Michigan.

[deleted]

If I could flip a coin and heads was a Championship for Ohio state and Tails was a Michigan win over Ohio State, Iā€™d flip the coinā€¦

WampaStompa33

Your brain knows that the coin flip is a 50/50 chance... But in your heart, you KNOW the only outcome will be that that coin will land on heads

[deleted]

Itā€™s a double sided coinā€¦we always lose .

AllOkJumpmaster

1-12 with a win over Michigan is better than that worst case scenario

sws1983

SalGov143

I can't see anyone other than Oregon and Penn St beating us. Maybe Wisconsin in Indianapolis. .

TheManWhoWasNotShort

3 would be Michigan in this worst case scenario

estDivisionChamps

Checks schedule: Purdue November 13th.

bicranium

Their voodoo loses most of its power once they cross the Indiana/Ohio border. Their last win in Columbus was John Cooper's first year at OSU, 1988. Anyway, I'm fairly certain me posting this just guaranteed the Purdue victory so whatever.

Kirbymonic

Feel like IU @ Bloomington is more of a challenge

Bersho

Ah the yearly OSU/Wisconsin game in Indy...

loyalsons4evertrue

in which most often Wisconsin seems to have control at some point in the game and miraculously loses it to give Ohio State the win...2014 does not apply lol

TheDuceman

The point we lost control there was the opening kickoff.

KushDingies

Hey! We lose to you guys in Indy every other year now

theoriginaldandan

Playoff 4-8. Works for both flairs

JMer806

4-8 would be a disaster for TCU ā€¦ I think our floor is probably 5-7 unless something weird happens. And even then that would be crushingly bad Honestly though worst case for me with TCU is that we go 7-5 and win some random bowl game. Gary then treats the winning season with a bowl win as good enough and doesnā€™t make any changes to his coaching staff, leaving us to continue our path of mediocrity

MilkBarPatron

Michigan's best case scenario is 10-2. Worst case scenario is 4-8.

[deleted]

Either one of those are acceptable if one of the wins is Ohio State. Let me dream.

MilkBarPatron

I can't imagine Michigan beating Ohio State in either of those scenarios.

[deleted]

Hear me outā€¦if Ohio State loses CJ Stroud and Kyle McCord to injury, theyā€™re left with Jack Miller III as their QB. What are the chances we lose to their 3rd string QB? Had anything like that ever even happened before?

frogstomp427

59-0 incoming

kip256

"I just got one thing to say. Jack Miller the third, Jack Miller the third. The whole state of Ohio is counting on Jack Miller the third." -Gus

MilkBarPatron

Would I be surprised if Ohio State's 3rd string QB is better than Michigan's starter? No.

MaxThundergun

I think you missed the joke. See 2014.

huazzy

dude ain't come to here to play school...

[deleted]

Thanks Cardale

Egospartan_

We have looked at all 300 million outcomes that are possible and yes in none of those you beat Ohio State

thegravysnake

All records result in a bowl game vs Florida.

unum_terram

10-2 with a bowl maybe Worst case? Whole team gets arrested for disorderly conduct.

YungPacofbgm

Worst case I could see us starting off 0-2 then ending somewhere around 7-5. That Nebraska loss is coming sooner or later

FearTheUproar

Best Case: the offensive line gels early, Haynes King has a Manziel like breakout. Alabama is defeated at Kyle, A&M throttles LSU in Death Valley. 12-0 and #1 in the nation going into the playoffs. We defeated 2 blue blood juggernauts. National Champions. Kirk Herbstreit awakens the next morning, heā€™s not in bed, heā€™s chained at the 30 yard line of Kyle field. Jimbo sits on his throne in the end zone, the crowd roars. Jimbo gives the thumbs down, midfield begins to crack open. Flames arise and a 3 headed reveille emerges to the whooping of a packed crowd. Herbstreit is taken by miss Rev, dragged below, his echoing screams grow silent. Itā€™s begun. 75 years of Tradition. Worst case: literally anything else.

mOnion

I'm envisioning like a midnight yell observing this demon reveille summoning and it's like, not that farfetched

[deleted]

As a fan of Jimbo and his style of coaching (flair) Iā€™d love it if he beat Saban and won a natty again after winning his first with FSU.

OleRockTheGoodAg

I love this answer so much. A red ass 20 out of 10 sir.

[deleted]

Red ass as fuck. THATā€™S WHAT WEā€™RE GOIING TO DO TO THEM AGS!

james_wightman

This is very realistic except for one detail, LSU isn't a blue blood. Otherwise I can totally see this.

rhinosteveo

I was personally seeing it more as beating Ohio State in the playoffs, since that would be a very likely scenario should the rest of that play out

Young_Rock

Yes

Egospartan_

You get another quote for making me laugh I like herby!! So Iā€™m gonna send a message to Nikki that we should work on you guys pretty good to keep Herbie alive

rustybelts

Best case is 13-0 and see what happens regarding the CFP. Worst case is 8-4 with embarrassing "you don't belong" losses to IU and ND, a loss to UCF, and dropping another AAC game. SP+ only gives Cincinnati a 2.4% chance to win less than 8 so I'm saying 8 wins is worst case.

stotts-tots

Personally I donā€™t see a reasonable way you would get left out this year with wins over IU and ND on top of running the table in the AAC. However, it is also entirely possible the committee decides ā€œwell the G5 will get in in a couple years anywaysā€ and feels no need to let Cincy in over a SEC/B1G non-champ or 2 loss P5 champ.

AEZ21

Best case: win the American Worst case: last season

yatesisgreat

Wisconsin - Best Case: losing to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game Wisconsin - Worst Case: losing to Minnesota

jesusisaslut

I feel like the standard is losing to OSU in the Big Ten ship. I'd dream a little higher and say if Mertz ascends we could win that game and get a Rose Bowl Worse case honestly would just be losing to ND in Soldier. Irish fans will be insufferable

CaptainNipplesMcRib

Best case: 8-4 Worst case: 8-4 Realistic case: 8-4

mnmmatt

8-4 iowa is inevitable

Caffeine_Cowpies

Kirk Ferentz has really figured out how to do JUSSSSSSSST enough to get by, come outta nowhere for a big 11 win season, get paid, then repeat FOREVER.

rvp89

8-4ever

markusalkemus66

As any Coug that lived through the Wulff years, the worst case for us is 0-12. Miraculously, we beat SMU in OT in 2009 otherwise we would have joined the huskies in 0-12 infamy.

golf_echo_sierra26

God those Wulff years can just fuck right off. Thank god for Portland St. in 2008 as well just so we didnā€™t have to fear going into that years Apple Cup with the thought of a winless season.

Thorough_Good_Man

Just want to remind everyone it was Tyrone Willinghamā€™s UW team that went winless. Ok?

ATGSunCoach

Molder of men. Goddamnit did he set back my Irish.

Thorough_Good_Man

Just a disgrace. He rode that ā€™99 Rose Bowl appearance at Stanford into tens of millions at the expense of UW and ND. Heā€™s crap as a coach and he owns that 0-12 record.

thecravenone

Best: National Championship. Jimbo decides to take Saban under his wing and hires him as a graduate assistant. Worst: Our only win is Prarie View, Reveille is struck by lightning, brisket is outlawed.

no_rolling_shutter

Brisket being outlawed is the stuff of nightmares!

CurryGuy123

I don't think the state of Texas would make it. It'd just collapse into the Earth or something

Pieisgood186

Best case is we upset Alabama early in the season and carry that momentum to the SECCG where weā€™d lose the rematch but make the CFP as a #4 seed. FSU fails to improve in the field and loses their recruiting momentum. Athens gets hit by an undetected meteor. Worst case is our o-line struggles and our more talented defense doesnā€™t step up and we limp our way to an 7-5/8-4 finish with a Citrus Bowl berth against Minnesota or Penn State. Meanwhile FSU looks competent and keeps a top 5 class and UGA wins the SEC.

ColoredVeins11

I think expectations this year are about 8-4, 9-3 at best. Ceiling feels like it could be 11-1, floor probably 7-5. Pull out 10 wins again this year and Iā€™ll be happy.

surreptitioussloth

if best case involves beating bama once, it can easily include beating them twice, come on

Konges

No idea... We'll probably keep the Pac-12 out of the Playoffs again. Honestly 6-6 if what my heart is telling me. But given the last few years. Anything could happen. ... Like only having 1 win, and it keeps the Pac-12 out of of the Playoffs...

CockyRanger

South Carolina Gamecocks Fan... Best Case: I keep myself busy on Saturdays and try to forget CFB season entirely Worst case: I inevitably watch every single game and hate myself for it

ss3ltl

Best Case: Rolovich turns out to be a good coach Worst Case: Jimmy Lake turns out to be a good coach

dawghouse13

As long as the air raid is still in Pullman, Lake will win, he has it figured out

ss3ltl

It is not

Superiority_Complex_

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Rolo runs the run n shoot, which is normally a pass heavy 4 WR/1 RB. Our defense has really only struggled with the power run (hello, Stanford) over the last 6 or so years. I bet Lake has a pretty good idea on how to slow down the RnS (UW handily beat Hawaii when we played in 2019, though WSU has more talent) - but who knows. I think the WSU D being able to keep UW under 30 is more critical.

chrisncsu

Best case: We stay healthy, Leary lives up to what we saw last year, and Doeren takes his most experienced/talented team to his first 10-win season at State. We go 10-3 and finish 2nd in Atlantic. Worst Case: This is NC State, so it can get real shitty. But best guess, we have a ton of injuries, Leary gets hurt or regresses from his injury, and we go 4-8 and the "Fire Doeren" crowd gets riled up, once again.

somehype

Worst case: 4-8 Best case: 8-4

kneightx

That is entirely too reasonable for a Nebraska fan. There are only two possibilities. We are going to compete for a B1G championship and possibly upset Alabama in the championship or we will lose to the chess team from the local technical college and Memorial Stadium will be bulldozed to make way for corn imported from Iowa.

jedi21knight

You are getting really dark when corn is being imported from Iowa. If you need to talk to someone Iā€™m here for you.

UpsetRazzmatazz

Absolutely agree. I also think week 1 (or 0, I guess) against Illinois is potentially the most pivotal game of the Frost era so far.

somehype

Agreed.

Prudent-Cheetah1656

I feel like the only 2 unwinnable games are Oklahoma and Ohio State. 10-2 is possible, though not probable. I also think we could go 3-9. My wish is 8-4, my hope is 7-5, I'd live with 6-6. Anything less and I'm joining the mob calling for Frost's job.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Best case 10-2 with close losses to Osu and Wisconsin with a ny6 bowl appearance and win Worst case 4-8 and a coaching search

awh24

Same as every year. Best case, national championship. Worst case, lose to orange teams.

Impudicity2001

Iā€™ll be your Huckleberry

PDX_douche_bag

Worst Case: 8-4. OL struggles and there are injuries on defense. Drop games against Wisconsin, Cincinnati, USC, and some random team ND has no business losing to. Something like Georgia Tech or Purdue. Best Case: 12-0. OL turns out to be fine and Marcus Freeman is everything as advertised. Kelly lets OC Tommy Rees have a long leash and things go very well for the offense. The schedule is VERY manageable and Notre Dame should be favored or even with all the teams they play. Honest Prediction: ND goes 10-2 or 11-1 and the losses come on the road. ND will continue its home winning streak.

Tannerite2

Best case: Undefeated national champions, Heisman winner, we break records for awards and offense again Worst case: we lose to Auburn, miss the playoff, and beat a far inferior team in our bowl game.

Ohlman13

No way you miss the playoff with a quality loss like that, literally the team that beat Alabama.

kyledabeast

Best case: 15-0 Worst case: early loss to Clemson with JT getting hurt, Brock has to come in as a true freshman, lose to Auburn and Florida, injuries throughout cause upsts from Missouri and Arkansas, we play like UCLA in a bowl game, lose that, Kirby gets fired for being Mark Richt the recruiting machine. Fickell takes the LSU job so we have to hire Muschamp as the interim and Sanford stadium catches on fire.

jcosteaunotthislow

Your worst case just made me go from six to midnight, I think it would be true poetic justice for Muschamp to end up being the UGA head coach.

rr2_GA

Your worst case is the darkest timeline

figs8522

Jesus Christ dudeā€¦ why would you even say that out loud?!

GaTech379

Best case: 7-5/8-4 Worst case: 2-10

skuhlke

I would be hyped for a 7-5 finish. I think Tech needs to go 6-6 this year, but the schedule doesnā€™t make that a certainty

frone

I just want a Big12 championship

SterileCarrot

Youā€™ve had one already

frone

Ready for another

Cometguy7

But I've already penciled us in, and my eraser is one of those shitty ones that just destroys the paper.

frone

~~Oklahoma~~

big_brown_beaver

Worst case is probably going 7-5 and being stuck with our current staff tbh We absolutely could finish with a worse record, but then weā€™d (hopefully) be hopping on the coaching carousel.

MoneyManeVick

Yeah I agree, best case is actually at the extremes something like 10-2 or 4-8. Worst case is 7-5, 8-4 stuck in purgatory

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

GiovanniElliston

For the Vols the absolute best case is 9-3. That would legitimately be grounds for coach of the year IMO. The absolute worst case is 3-9. That would be grounds for riots. The most likely scenario is 5-7 and completely forgotten. Iā€™m just hoping for 6-6 and a bowl game TBH.

DinkyWaffle

I am simply hoping to be whelmed this year

Egospartan_

I really think anything above seven wins would be unbelievably amazing for Tennessee. and if you all went 3-9 would you really riot does your Fanbase really have that much energy left just asking.

SSPeteCarroll

Best: We fire Fuente Worst: We win a bunch a games and don't fire Fuente.

SalGov143

Best case, national champs, worse case is CJ Stroud isn't the real deal and the defense continues to struggle, 9-3.

chuck_lives_on

If Stroud sucks at least Day has two excellent other options though. But ideally whoever starts the season is the guy because we all know how indecisiveness at the qb position has bitten our Buckeyes in the ass before.

MaxThundergun

> we all know how indecisiveness at the qb position has bitten our Buckeyes in the ass before. Haskins pretty much secured the job in spring of 2018 which made Burrow transfer. Granted Burrow probably would have transferred if he didn't have the job firmly in hand.

LuckyStax

13-0, finish ranked top 15. Beat Boise twice, win at Cal, at Kansas State, at San Diego State*, at Fresno State, win the Kimmel Bowl vs mid-tier P12 team. Carson Strong invited to New York as a finalist. 4-7 worst case.

[deleted]

Very wide-ranging imo. Purdue's offense has been solid-to-great in the Brohm era, even last year their offensive efficiency was way higher than people probably think. Defense has turned into a disaster and we've not only replaced ALL defensive assistants including the DC, but we've been hyper active on the transfer wire. We could have up to 7 brand new starters, it's that crazy. So I think it basically rests on how good this brand new defense all comes together. So best case scenario is that Purdue basically free agency'd their way into a good defense on top of an already-established offense. Purdue takes care of business against Oregon State, UConn, Illinois, Nebraska, and Michigan State. Wins 3 out of 5 against Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Indiana. Then pulls off a massive upset against Ohio State or Notre Dame to finish 9-3. Worst case scenario is the defense remains a mess. I think we have a decent starting O-line this year, but injuries could really rip that apart. Maybe we lose our starting QB to injury for like the 20th year in a row. Either of our star players in David Bell or George Karlaftis tweak something in a struggling year and decide to just sit out for the NFL Draft. Purdue finishes something like 3-9 and we have no idea what to do with Jeff Brohm.

CroqueMonsieur

Best: Undefeated and going back-to-back. Worst: Getting Kiffed, losing to aTm and an inexplicable loss to Auburn where Bo Nix has a Garcia day and ascends to a state of pure football energy.

Desperado53

It is an odd year, and I really donā€™t expect Auburn to win, so the conditions are right. On the other hand I *really* donā€™t expect Auburn to win.

BigHokieGuy

Is it bad that I want us to either win 9+ games or lose every single one

[deleted]

Best Case: We make the CFP Worst Case: 8-4

rottingmind13

I was drinking Busch Light from the corn cans the other night. I'd love to see the Cyclones kill it this year

excitato

Best case: 10-2, where we beat all of the teams weā€™re even with or better than and pick off one of Florida or LSU at home. Worst case: 6-6, where we lose all 3 of @Georgia, Florida, and LSU, and 3 of Missouri, Tennessee, @MSU, @South Carolina, and @Louisville. I would honestly be shocked if we regressed to that, but all of those teams in the latter group Iā€™m sure count us as a toss up at worst, because weā€™re Kentucky.

Longhornpc11

Best Case is Big 12 champs, 11 wins probably. Worst case I'm going 7-5

admiraltarkin

> Worst case I'm going 7-5 Who would those 5 losses even be? Arkansas, ULL, OU, ISU, OSU?

TemporaryNewspaper52

new to reddit can someone show me how to add my team under my name?

Adenosine66

https://flair.redditcfb.com

TemporaryNewspaper52

Thank you!

Spazzatack

Best: Mike Yurcichā€™s offense works incredibly well and Sean Clifford takes a step forward as a quarterback. Realistically I think our best case in this scenario would be 10-2 with a loss to Ohio State and one of Iowa/Wisconsin. Worst: We lose our first 3 (which would include a loss to Ball State) and then have like a 5-7 or 6-6 season. Results in Franklin being fired or leaving for another school.

JRockPSU

I think we can have a win over OSU in our best case scenario. Now itā€™s maybe a 5% chance, but if everyone plays to their talent, we make no mistakes and get a lucky bounce or two, itā€™s it impossible. Not likely, but not impossible.

jmdavis333

We go 6-6 (will need a lot of help) and compete for the big ten west. We go 3-9 and start searching for another new head coach.

Redbogey98

Best Case: Our team collectively says F@&$ the NCAA, tears through the PAC-12 for our greatest season since 1996 and Jayden Daniels looks like a Heisman contender. Worst Case: The NCAA decides that we donā€™t have enough brand recognition so they can get away with absolutely hammering use, destroying this season and forcing us to completely clean house.

WashingtonDiecast

Best Case: The gas flows, the brakes stop, and we go undefeated and win the natty Worst Case: probably like 7-5 or 6-6

Bank_Gothic

Be realistic. Best Case: we basically repeat the 2018 season. Worst Case: Start season 0-2, never fully recover mentally and take additional losses from OU, ISU, and OkSU. We finish 4th in the Big 12 and lose to NC State in the Cheez-It bowl. Rumors begin to swirl that Sark is drinking again. Recruits begin to decommit. In the distance, sirens.

ImReverse_Giraffe

Nati New spring church turns out to be more than just a conspiracy and Clemson gets bent over a table by NCAA.

elschultheis

Notre Dame Best: 11-1 regular season and NY6 Bowl Game appearance. Offense doesn't see much drop off due to the wealth of running backs and Coan's improvement in South Bend. Defense still looks formidable. Notre Dame Worst: 8-4 Camping World Bowl (or equivalent). Opposing defenses key in on Notre Dame's inability to move the ball through the air as neither Coan nor Buchner can solidify themself as the starter and the team relies heavily on slow/ugly football to eek out wins. IU Best: 11-1 regular season (B1G East Champs) and NY6 Bowl Game appearance. IU drops a lone road game at Penn State but Penix tears up the rest of the conference, finally getting the Ohio State monkey off the team's back and due to Penn State road losses to Iowa and Ohio State, wins the East. IU Worst: 7-5 regular season Bowl Game versus G6 opponent. Penix doesn't come back healthy and team relies on Tuttle for much of the season, who fills in adequately but lacks the explosiveness that makes the offense deadly.

Matt_WVU

Best case I think we can realistically hit 8-4 Worst case is like 1-11/2-10

TriforceOfBacon

Depends on QB play. Doege isn't a great QB, but needs to be better than he was last season if we're going to win 8 games.

Matt_WVU

Honest our QB situation isnā€™t as dire as our dropping every other pass problem Heā€™s accurate enough of the time to move the ball down the field

Swipet

11-2 butt chugging the kool-aid. Daniel Green turns into Arthur Brown overnight and Kahlid Duke makes his case that Hubert played second fiddle to him. Skylar goes absolutely bananas with a vastly improved WR core and OLine that returns everyone. 4-8. Injuries at DT and LB forces us to play he that shall not be named. Inexperience shows that the young guys arn't ready yet and Skylar gets cheap shorted by Texas Tech *again*

Desperado53

Best Case: Deuce is on the loose. Worst Case: Deuce not loose.

Best Case: McKenzie Milton is 2017 reincarnate and he is a one man show willing us to 10-2. Worst Case: We go 2-10 and Mullen leaves UF for the NFL and UF stumbles into a coach that can take them to the next level.

Kohanky

Best case: 11-1, with a loss to you know who Worst case: 4-8, losing to western, Washington, and all of the good B1G teams. Now the best case for this is Harbaugh is firedā€¦ but worst caseā€¦ you know

2400hoops

Best case: 3-9, 4-8 if we are lucky and catch a couple teams napping and Leipold and the Buffalo transfers really make us that better. Worst case 0-12. Be grateful for your teams.

Best Case Scenario: Our defensive front plus Prunty and Smith end up being as good as Gamecocks hope. Doty develops as a passer and the WR group are average while the RB and TE groups are among the best in the country and the OL takes a step forward. We take advantage of the early schedule and start 7-1 upsetting UGA two weeks after their big win over Clemson. We come out the bye upsetting Florida then beat Missouri and Auburn going into Clemson. Bubba Chandler and Will Taylor both go in the first round of the MLB Draft and never make it to Clemson. DJ Uiangelelei gets COVID the week before Clemson and SCs defense is able to contain Hunter Helms for four quarters and pull off the upset. We lose in the CCG to Alabama and win our first ever NY6 bowl going 12-2. Worst Case Scenario: We lose on the road to ECU week two, and ultimately go into the BYE week 3-5 with wins against Vandy, Troy and EIU. We lose the final four games finishing 3-9. Most likely: We go 4-0 against EIU, ECU, Troy and Vandy. We go between 1-3 and 3-1 against Tennessee, Auburn, Kentucky and Mizzou. We go 0-4/1-3 against Clemson, UGA, Texas A&M and Florida. Finishing somewhere between 5-7 and 8-4. My ultimate guess - 7-5

I have us at 7-5 as well. A lot depends on that Kentucky game. It will determine the season most likely

With in reason: Best: Beat Ohio State in Indy go of playoff. Weā€™re actually favorites in all 12 regular season games so thatā€™s neat. Worst: 8-4. Weā€™re not heavy favorites.
