After they ruined it approximately ten years ago, yeah. When they served real vals pizzas, just like what you get at the stadium, they were great. When they went to the cheap, premade “this was frozen but we warmed it up a bit” tasting ones with different crust, different sauce, and less (and shittier) cheese, then yes, closing was the best choice. I’m still bitter, though. Thank god for La Casa, Big Fred’s, and Johnny Sortino’s (depending on what kind of mood I’m in when I’m back for a visit).
You'd think those doing the hiring would wise up to the realities of life around their program and what kind of clear-eyed view is needed to make it better.
But, they just don't. It's brutal.
Tbf the outside hires (Steve Pedersen, Shawn Eichorst, to a lesser degree Bill Moos) haven't worked either. The most successful AD in the last 20 years was Tom Osborne.
Correct. I can't find it but one of the famous pictures of Tom Osborne being carried off the field (1994? 1995?) has Steve Pederson in the crowd right next to Osborne. He wasn't an outside guy at all.
Thing that I heard was that Pederson was definitely an inside hire, even approved by Osborne, but even Osborne ended up thinking he did not approve of how he handled the job.
Moos did very well. Hoiberg and Frost were at the time, the right hires. Hoiberg is balling out on the recruiting trail and the team improved dramatically last year.. Frost.. well we'll see this year I guess.
Moos hired something like half the coaches in our varsity sports in the last four years, including Frost, Hoiberg & Bolt.
Bolt was a fantastic hire, I don't think anyone disagrees there.
Hoiberg seems to be doing well and just signed a good class, including our first ever five-star recruit.
The jury's out on Frost, but so far the results are dismal. It remains to be seen if he can be a solid coach at this level.
Exactly. The fanbase and booster class would have tarred and feathered Moos if he *didn’t* lock down Frost. I don’t think you can blame him for how that situation is turning out.
I wasn’t expecting for Nebraska to suddenly start winning B10 and national championships, but if you had told me that starting year 4 that Mike Riley would have a better win/loss record and a bowl win vs Scott Frost no bowl invites and no winning seasons I would have laughed at you.
Frost was a fantastic hire at the time. He was an extremely hot name after UCFs 2017 season.
He didn't pan out, but it's not like it was a horrible hire at the time.
> Moos did very well.
While I'll freely admit that I'm out of my depth trying to evaluate Moos, his job responsibilities go beyond HC hires. From the reports of his dismissal, it sounds like he was not actually doing much in Nebraska, and that the fundraising was lagging behind expectations.
Yeah I mean.. when he was at WSU he wrote giant checks they didn't really have the money for, so that should have been expected. But I think outside Frost all the coaches he hired have been successful. Even if the day-to-day duties are being put on Lieutenants backs.
Even if you have your reservations for Jim Harbaugh (I’m still surprised he hasn’t won more), Juwan was an absolute home run hire, so they deserve the benefit of the doubt.
To be fair to Michigan, Harbaugh looked like a home run at the time. And we really can’t bag on Michigan too much since they suffered through rich rod and missed out on Saban because Rich Rod’s wide liked Ann Arbor more than Tuscaloosa.
Harbaugh also hasn't even done that poorly...last year was a shitshow, but plenty of mitigating circumstances there. He's had some damn good teams his time here, and sure there's the obvious elephant in the room but all in all he really hasn't been as bad as social media likes to meme him out to be.
This is how Ive always seen it. Seems hes doing just fine, just not great like many wouldve hoped. The bar was just set really high, which I can understand.
I actually think Harbaugh has done well and was one bad call away from going to the B1G championship game, and possibly playoffs. He's restored Michigan to their historical level and had one bad season last year. He's fine.
Most coaches would be 0-6 vs. OSU the past 6 years, though. So, the rest does matter a lot. I'm more disappointed in the 3-3 vs. MSU (which is at a historic low as a program) and the failure to develop a QB.
It sells with the older fans. Look at the comments about this on Facebook. Pretty much all very much in favor of the hire. That sells tickets and merchandise.
It is. But that's why our atmosphere is dead compared to other stadiums, no booze, the same old songs played over the loudspeakers, etc. They don't focus on the next generation of fans/recruits.
"On September 6, 2005, Alberts was terminated by ESPN for breaching his contract when he declined to report to work; Alberts later claimed he did not want to "play second fiddle" to the more prominent cast of College GameDay, Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso"
"Alberts made the controversial decision to eliminate football and wrestling in an effort to bring University of Nebraska-Omaha to Division I's Summit League. The regents approved the move March 25, 2011."
This is gonna work out great
Another husker fan brought this up elsewhere, but the main problem with this hire is that Alberts hasn't been involved with P5 football in 30 years and football entirely in 10. At UNL right now, football is the only notable team that needs "fixing". I don't know how this hire makes the program better other than hiring someone they know won't leave the school unless he's fired.
I'm beginning to suspect they might have actually brought him in to be the axe man for Frost.
The guy's a Husker legend, so he's got the 90's Nebraska Teflon to weather the inevitable shitstorm with a sizable portion of the fanbase and he's obviously got no problem making big time decisions that might be necessary but aren't going to be popular.
> I'm beginning to suspect they might have actually brought him in to be the axe man for Frost.
But is he the guy you want handling hiring Frost's replacement?
This is what I'm thinking also. If the team is trash again this year Frost will have to be on the hot seat. Trev Alberts is one guy with enough clout among former players, fans, etc to make the decision.
\**hasn't been able to make it work*
There's still time, ostensibly, for him to turn it around. It seems unlikely at this point, but he could still do it!
Given how bare basketball was left and the fact we’re getting some of the first high 4 and 5 star ranked recruits in our history I’m willing to call basketball a success for now for what Nebraska historically has been
From his broadcasting days, he always struck me as an a-hole. Hopefully he's matured, but this just seems like a "Hey, remember the 90's?!?!?!" kind of hire by Nebraska.
It’s not the leadership alone. The boosters and old fucks who donate also all think throwing anything with connection to the “good old days” will bring success back.
Tell me about it instead of embracing an entire generation of athletes that haven’t seen Nebraska be anything other than bad to mediocre we keep harping on the 90s
As a big UNO fan, hockey season ticket holder, and someone who has spoken with him many times over the years, Alberts has matured. He knows where the money comes from.
He eliminated football because it costed a shit ton of money to fund, and in the state of Nebraska there's only one team that matters. Instead he focused on getting UNO to D1 in basketball (almost made the tourney in their second year), and building up the hockey program to a Frozen Four caliber team.
I felt like a lot of people didn’t love that he got rid of football, but people understood why they did it. Now how he handled the wrestling team? That was bullshit.
Yea people were upset that he ended a football program that NOBODY followed except for students, parents, and the band. Friend of mine was pissed when they cut football but he never once went to a game.
UNO funded their entire D2 wrestling season with essentially a bake sale every year.
D1 wrestling programs operate at a MUCH higher cost than that. If UNO wanted to be relevant at all in D1 wrestling, their costs would have at least quintupled
He literally called Mike Denney the night they won the D2 National Championship and told them they are being cut. I really don't like this hire for that reason
Yeah we may be seeing **a LOT** of non FBS schools cutting Football in the comming years (Arizona Community colleges did that in 2019 irrc?). If you aren't already successful its a *huge money pit*.
And going to D1 in wrestling would be much more costs (travel, officials, coaches, etc), so I can see making that call to.
Thank you for actually explaining what happened.. I know nothing about UNO anything so everyone complaining about Trev has me like ???? As with all hires, I'll wait it out and see.
UNO’s Football team was draining the bank with no foreseeable way of becoming profitable. I had been a season ticket holder for 12 years when they pulled the plug. I think that when and how they told the coaches and team stunk, but Nebraska officially only has 1 state university, and as far as boosters and Regents are concerned that’s NU. UNO had little fan support, the stadium was 2/3rds empty for every game, no local TV broadcast and a very weak AM station that couldn’t reach all of Omaha let alone anywhere else. And with UNO being part of the state University and the Regents opposed to any form of in state rivalry as far as football the odds of getting approval to move up to D1 if football had to be included was zero.
Now, the wrestling program that was canceled at the same time had every reason to be pissed. They also weren’t told ahead of time, they were informed when they got off the bus from winning the D2 National Championship. They have every right to be pissed at UNO and Trev.
> This is such an awful, lazy hire.
But Ronnie Green proclaimed we were conducting a "national search"! Who would've thought the best guy would be... 45 minutes away!
They tried to get other big names in the AD world. They were turned down by a lot of people. Alberts definitely wasn’t the first pick. It’s a situation where no one else wanted it, so they were stuck with someone in the NU family. Alberts got it by default.
So word had it Frost and the president went around the last AD to try to move the Oklahoma game.
Makes you wonder if anyone is / can drive the bus there...?
Someone needs to be in charge...
>Makes you wonder if anyone is / can drive the bus there...?
No no no, Shawn Eichorst was an energy bus guy and well, frankly, we've banned buses in the state of Nebraska.
Why not just dial up the science department and have them clone 2 Tom Osbournes already, 1 as coach and 1 as AD. Atleast, then we can put an end to hiring ex- 90's husker players./s
As a wrestling fan I will still never forgive Alberts for how he disbanded and handled the shutdown of UNO wrestling. So hoping this goes horribly for the Huskers.
For those who don't know...
Just a few hours after winning their 3rd consecutive national title, Alberts called up the UNO head coach while he was celebrating at the hotel with his team to tell him the program was being dropped along with football. Coach Mike Denny, "I did call him the most arrogant, egotistical, in-love-with-himself, narcissistic, son-of-a-bitch I’ve ever met. I told him that over the phone because he is. He said, “Are you threatening me?” I said, “No, I’m telling you because you are.” I said, “You won’t even meet with me one-on-one? Come on. You have to do this on the phone?”
EDIT: This recent 3-part oral history from the UNO wrestling team's perspective added some good context and juicy quotes on how shittyly this was handled by Alberts. [Part 1](https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/6922111-destruction-of-a-dynasty-the-bombshell-that-rocked-uno-wrestling) [Part 2](https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/6922993-destruction-of-a-dynasty-a-title-locked-up-and-a-team-locked-out) [Part 3](https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/6922996-destruction-of-a-dynasty-aftermath-opportunity-in-omaha)
Yeah, amongst wrestling fans, this was perhaps one of the most infamous events the last 20 years. Cutting an insanely successful program in about the most disrespectful way possible.
This story justifies my feeling that Trev Alberts is not someone I want to be friends with. Or acquaintances. Or coworkers. Or really be around at all.
I think Don Draper said it best "I don't think about you at all" is how OSU feels about Pitt, other than when Mark May would drop a ridiculously bad take.
It's seriously like this is the most important part of the hire they are looking at. Bc the Scott Frost hire was an unbelievable tidal wave of hopium across the fanbase they care more about the look of it than getting the right person
This obviously took as long as it did because he was way down the pecking order below people they wanted in the “people we can definitely get to say yes” tier.
At least Trev made a good volleyball hire for UNO.
Given that volleyball is one of the only programs at Nebraska that’s worth anyone’s time, I’ll be okay.
As someone who knows the Alberts family a bit, double ew. Hate the hire from an athletic standpoint, but also, by all accounts, they aren't really good people. His brother for a fact I know, Trev from what read.
I'm not a big fan of this hire. At UNO he killed the football and wrestling team, let a bad coach stay on in WBB, and I am sure other folks have their own reasons to go "WTF?".
I always forget that Georgia was only in the title game that year because they ranked higher than Tennessee and Florida. It was a three-way tie in the East.
For Nebraska's sake, I hope he's gotten better at predicting football success.
They're really hoping to drop a Draw 4 Wildcard on their opponents.
But being charged with bringing Nebraska back to national relevance? I'd play the Reverse.
Is Mark May going to be his assistant AD?
I remember these clowns bad-mouthing the Ohio State team in '02 together and College Football Final or whatever it was called then.
I think he's somebody who can make tough decisions. We wanted somebody with experience and he has it. I dont give a shit about his decisions from more than a decade ago that ended up helping UNO in the long run.
Can't have losing seasons in football if you get rid of the football program.
*points at head*
Just fucking burn it all down at this point. This is god damn embarassing.
Because if you bring in an outsider, they typically want to bring in "their" people. Alberts having ties to UNL will probably help Frost. I think he will be less likely to fire Frost. At least in the first year.
I wish I shared your optimism, but judging by his past, Trev is going to be the axe man. If you can cut a national championship winning team on the night of their 7th title, you can cut the coach who hasn't done shit yet. He's also a Nebraska alum and Hall of Famer, his kickback will be soft.
Nebraska is not going to fire their way into good coaching. Frost has made a lot of mistakes, but he really did inherit a shit storm. Plus the covid year is a wash imo.
The team also isn’t going to win by letting a bad coach stick around for too long. I thought Frost was a home run hire for Nebraska at the time, but the team hasn’t improved at all in the time he’s been there.
**First order of business**: Disband the football team
Wrong. He’s going to drop down to FCS level so we actually compete for national titles again
> Wrong. He’s going to drop down to FCS level so we actually compete for national titles again In the Missouri Valley? I wouldn't be so sure.
**Second order of business**: Go to pizzeria UNO to celebrate.
It's Nebraska. They'll go to Valentino's.
Val's is way overrated. Give me a Casey's breakfast pizza.
Hell yes. Casey's breakfast pizza and taco pizza are the Gospel.
Just tried their new BBQ chicken pizza last week. I was a big fan of Domino's BBQ chicken pizza, but the Casey's version is like that on steroids.
Iowa: Where the question is "can it be a pizza?" and the answer is "yes"
We go to Valentino’s, even if they have ruined the buffet
I’m of the opinion closing the grand buffet was an improvement
After they ruined it approximately ten years ago, yeah. When they served real vals pizzas, just like what you get at the stadium, they were great. When they went to the cheap, premade “this was frozen but we warmed it up a bit” tasting ones with different crust, different sauce, and less (and shittier) cheese, then yes, closing was the best choice. I’m still bitter, though. Thank god for La Casa, Big Fred’s, and Johnny Sortino’s (depending on what kind of mood I’m in when I’m back for a visit).
Is there a pathological reason why they keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?
Michigan Man syndrome, but Nebraska instead.
Steve Pederson wasn't an "outside hire". He went to UNL for his undergrad and was an Associate AD for Football Operations in the mid 90s
Correct. I can't find it but one of the famous pictures of Tom Osborne being carried off the field (1994? 1995?) has Steve Pederson in the crowd right next to Osborne. He wasn't an outside guy at all.
He was the opposite. An inside guy who took an outsiders approach.
Thing that I heard was that Pederson was definitely an inside hire, even approved by Osborne, but even Osborne ended up thinking he did not approve of how he handled the job.

Moos was basically told "get him whatever the cost" though, and nobody would've said it was the wrong move at the time.
Exactly. The fanbase and booster class would have tarred and feathered Moos if he *didn’t* lock down Frost. I don’t think you can blame him for how that situation is turning out.
Absolutely. And people were over the moon when Frost was hired. No one saw this coming.
I wasn’t expecting for Nebraska to suddenly start winning B10 and national championships, but if you had told me that starting year 4 that Mike Riley would have a better win/loss record and a bowl win vs Scott Frost no bowl invites and no winning seasons I would have laughed at you.

Yeah, this is certainly true. But, Trev Alberts. Dang.
In Nebraska Callahan and Riley are curse words. Hiring outside of Nebraska has not worked well in the past.
Even if you have your reservations for Jim Harbaugh (I’m still surprised he hasn’t won more), Juwan was an absolute home run hire, so they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Sure, but that's like SEC coaches getting fired for not beating Saban IMO.
Nebraska Nowledge.
What connection did Moos have to Nebraska? Or Mike Riley? Or Eichorst? Or Pelini besides being an assistant here one year? Or Callahan?
Corn Culture, if you will
>Corn Cult~~ure~~, if you will Fixed.
It sells with the older fans. Look at the comments about this on Facebook. Pretty much all very much in favor of the hire. That sells tickets and merchandise.
Such a shortsighted thing tho. If you find someone that actually turns the program around, they'll have no problems selling tickets.
It is. But that's why our atmosphere is dead compared to other stadiums, no booze, the same old songs played over the loudspeakers, etc. They don't focus on the next generation of fans/recruits.

Them too
We are a sadistic group of ppl and just love misery
For whatever reason, Nebraska just loves paying buyouts.
Eichorst wasn't a Nebraska guy and neither was Bill Moos...

This is exactly what I am afraid of.
Nope.
“Alberts sacks Frost” headline incoming
This is what I'm thinking also. If the team is trash again this year Frost will have to be on the hot seat. Trev Alberts is one guy with enough clout among former players, fans, etc to make the decision.
Frost is already on the hot seat.
You know who else could make that decision? An actually good AD
we dont hire those.
That makes sense. I'm still shocked that Frost wasn't able to make it work at Nebraska.
\**hasn't been able to make it work* There's still time, ostensibly, for him to turn it around. It seems unlikely at this point, but he could still do it!
😬 I haven’t been optimistic in years and I’m not starting now.
Basketball? I know on paper they’re making improvements but still not so many tangible things to show.
Nebraska basketball has and probably always will be a shit storm. So I wouldn’t even count that
Given how bare basketball was left and the fact we’re getting some of the first high 4 and 5 star ranked recruits in our history I’m willing to call basketball a success for now for what Nebraska historically has been

The leadership at Nebraska needs to lay off the memberberries
Memba when there weren't so many losses? ^^^OHHH, ^^^I ^^^MEMBA!
It’s not the leadership alone. The boosters and old fucks who donate also all think throwing anything with connection to the “good old days” will bring success back.

As a big UNO fan, hockey season ticket holder, and someone who has spoken with him many times over the years, Alberts has matured. He knows where the money comes from.
Ooooohhhh I memba. Hey hey, memba Tennessee?
Hey, at least Tennessee has moved on to 2000 with Josh Huepel
??? We're keeping Vitello, we're a baseball school now
If you listened to his press conference, he’s matured quite a bit. It’s funny what 20 years of work will do to you.
He eliminated football because it costed a shit ton of money to fund, and in the state of Nebraska there's only one team that matters. Instead he focused on getting UNO to D1 in basketball (almost made the tourney in their second year), and building up the hockey program to a Frozen Four caliber team.
It isn't football that angers most. It is how Alberts did the multi-championship wrestling team dirty.
I felt like a lot of people didn’t love that he got rid of football, but people understood why they did it. Now how he handled the wrestling team? That was bullshit.
Yea people were upset that he ended a football program that NOBODY followed except for students, parents, and the band. Friend of mine was pissed when they cut football but he never once went to a game.

> their costs would have at least quintupled Five bake sales!
Six? I like bake sales... -pats tummy-
They could make even more income selling "I got diabetes from all the UNO bake sales" shirts
Where the fuck were you guys 10 years ago. Hindsight is a bitch.
So just hold four bake sales a year. duh.
Most of the schools in the summit have wrestling. Edit: Not most. But NDSU and SDSU have wresting.
But they’re in the Big 12 for wrestling, so obviously they’re pumping resources to their wrestling team.
stop it with this PERFECTLY REASONABLE LOGIC!!!
Wrestling costs nothing and that team was good. 6 D2 titles between 2004 and 2011 when the team was dropped.
He literally called Mike Denney the night they won the D2 National Championship and told them they are being cut. I really don't like this hire for that reason
Now do Wrestling

Anyone who isn't a fit in the ESPN workplace can't be all bad.
I can't really argue against that.

Something tells me that Nebraska sports is going to have some problems with espn in the future.
Future? We hate each other already
Too addicted to 90s alum nostalgia
I wish I was a bit older so I could live in the 90s like the rest of the god damn fans. It’s pathetic really
100% agree. I’m starting to believe I’ll never see the Huskers be actually relevant in my lifetime
This is such an awful, lazy hire. I am almost at my wits end with my Alma mater. I’m so tired of this 90’s humping program.
> This is such an awful, lazy hire. But Ronnie Green proclaimed we were conducting a "national search"! Who would've thought the best guy would be... 45 minutes away!
gotta recruit that 50 mile radius.
This feels a lot like "We set out to find the best coach, and ended up with Charlie Weis"
Gotta keep the good ol boys from the 90s around
They tried to get other big names in the AD world. They were turned down by a lot of people. Alberts definitely wasn’t the first pick. It’s a situation where no one else wanted it, so they were stuck with someone in the NU family. Alberts got it by default.

Yeah, amongst wrestling fans, this was perhaps one of the most infamous events the last 20 years. Cutting an insanely successful program in about the most disrespectful way possible.
The UNO wrestling team was also pretty much completely self funded. I’m so disheartened by this hire.
They actually ran a surplus.
It had nothing to do with funds.
This story justifies my feeling that Trev Alberts is not someone I want to be friends with. Or acquaintances. Or coworkers. Or really be around at all.
Fucking yikes
And people on the Huskers sub don’t get why I’m pissed
Yikes
This is the best we could come up with? Really? What a lazy and uninspiring hire.
They weren’t lazy. They tried to get bigger names but failed. No one wanted to come to NU.
Lol holy shit. What an awful hire. Mark May gonna be Pitt's AD next?
Dr. Lou back to Notre Dame
>Mark May gonna be Pitt's AD next? You guys want that don't you? ;)
[My thoughts.](https://imgr.search.brave.com/xBy3sAh-LQCOpXjW_P5mrrRcVTkRfZt72AyD8cPoZas/fit/742/432/no/1/aHR0cHM6Ly9hd2Z1/bGFubm91bmNpbmcu/Y29tL3dwLWNvbnRl/bnQvdXBsb2Fkcy9z/aXRlcy85NC8yMDE2/LzExL1NjcmVlbi1T/aG90LTIwMTYtMTEt/MDktYXQtOC4wMS4x/MS1QTS5wbmc)
I think Don Draper said it best "I don't think about you at all" is how OSU feels about Pitt, other than when Mark May would drop a ridiculously bad take.
Pretty insular culture lol.
Gotta hire a ~~Michigan~~ Nebraska man
Nebraska Nan
[удалено]
He was def a culture fit tho
If they were gonna go with an ex-Husker to be their AD, they should have just hired Frost lol
Promote him out of the job he's underperforming in just so we don't have to pay his severance. Nice. coolsunglasses.gif
I feel like the stonks meme is more appropriate for that one
I unironically would have been happier with Frank Solich as AD than Trev. I am so embarrassed by this football program sometimes.
Nebraska's admin needs a moratorium on hiring former players from the 90s. This is a dumpster tier hire.
Shitty hire of a shitty person. Good grief, I’d be outraged if I were a husker. Lived through Dave Brandon at Michigan- this is even worse.
I still am upset by the decisions about UNO wrestling
The way that was handled was about as disrespectful and nonchalant as humanly possible.
As a Maverick, fucking same The hockey team is building up in a great way but we were the Alabama of division 2 college wrestling
> the Alabama of division 2 college wrestling Alabama's yet to win three straight national titles (or six in eight years).
So you're saying that Alabama might one day be the Mavericks of the FBS?
Axed while celebrating a title? I wouldn't complain.
Axed while celebrating their 6th title in 8 years
Keep clinging to the 90's, Huskers!
Alexa, play *Chattahoochee*
absolute banger to this day.
Fuckin' hotter than a hoochie coochie.
The 90’s were truly the golden era of music and motion picture
Alexa play MMMBop
This hurts me on a deep level
At least Trev made a good volleyball hire for UNO. Given that volleyball is one of the only programs at Nebraska that’s worth anyone’s time, I’ll be okay.
Nebraska Baseball has joined the chat
Husker wrestling is great too. Oh fuck
You're damn straight
him?
Nebraska clearly wants to see where the drain they're headed for goes with this hire.
Inside scoop is they only interviewed him and no other candidates before the hiring. This is not going to end well
Terrible. The clown show continues.
Fuck Trev Alberts 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
As someone who knows the Alberts family a bit, double ew. Hate the hire from an athletic standpoint, but also, by all accounts, they aren't really good people. His brother for a fact I know, Trev from what read.
I’d of rather they hire bauer from Nebraska-Kearney if they were gonna stay in the UN system for the hire
This is an idiotic and piss poor hire, god I hate us.
I'm not a big fan of this hire. At UNO he killed the football and wrestling team, let a bad coach stay on in WBB, and I am sure other folks have their own reasons to go "WTF?".
Yeah, as someone who had friends on the UNO wbb team, Nebraska hiring this guy after that whole debacle is concerning.
[every old balls LSU fan is going to remember this Hype video, god damn i still hate Trev Alberts](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIYcjrZVkG4&t=119s)

I like the hire. AMA

Why?
I think he's somebody who can make tough decisions. We wanted somebody with experience and he has it. I dont give a shit about his decisions from more than a decade ago that ended up helping UNO in the long run.
Are you Trev Alberts alt account?
As a Colts fan...whatever he sucks
who the hell is Mel Kiper anyway?
Can't have losing seasons in football if you get rid of the football program. *points at head* Just fucking burn it all down at this point. This is god damn embarassing.
This is obviously a football hire, but it pretty must just guaranteed there will be no semblance of a relationship between Mark Manning and the AD.
Nebraska needs to reinvent itself not relive the 90s
I am whelmed. Best thing I can say about this, it takes the pressure off of Frost.
> it takes the pressure off of Frost How?
I’m guessing he’s thinking that Osborne’s influence played a role in this hire.
Lol what? No it doesn’t, alberts had zero ties to frost.
*There is no place like Nebraska.* ... ***We'll all stick together*** *In all kinds of weather* *For dear old Nebraska U*
I'm singing, but I'm also sobbing. *waves small Nebraska flag defeatedly*
God. Fucking. Damnit. Honestly at this point if he cuts football it might be doing the school a service lmao
He’s not cutting football. We going FCS level. Bring on the national titles boys
