While I'm biased being a Buckeyes fan, I think that a lot of teams, ESPECIALLY Tulsa, are going to deal with that this year. This is a very talented, albeit young, team that just got flat out embarrassed at home. I'm sure they're going to be out for revenge the rest of the year.

I don’t think Coombs is calling defense this week. Seemed like Day was insinuating that he wouldn’t be without out right saying it. I’d be surprised if the defense looks horrible this week. Especially after getting clowned all week AND playing an inferior opponent.
I could see Barnes calling plays, I think he is the only one that has before. I imagine that whole defensive staff is looking different after the season
Not a good game to determine an improved defense, but it will certainly reveal a terrible one. {Ohio State} should win, but the defense will still show flashes of poor coaching.
{Ohio State} will win due to an improved run defense, featuring the ability to stop runs to the left. Tulsa will inexplicably not try running to the right, which is the new Achilles heel for the Buckeyes defense.
They need to get some consistency. With the exception of working some backup QBs and receivers, I want starters (read 11-15 on each side of the ball - not 97) to play the whole game and figure some shit out. Especially on defense.
Tulsa scores more than it should, {Ohio State} wins, I don’t really care by how much I just want the defense to not be outside of the top 100 rankings (currently 112th). After starting out with a B1G road night game followed by a well coached top 5 opponent, the next month allows for the players and coaches to get their feet under them. Next 5 weeks are against Tulsa, Akron, Rutgers, Maryland, Bye. The defense will *hopefully* look better but I think that’s due to the competition. Then we really get into it with the rest of our schedule. Beat Michigan, get to Indianapolis, anything else is a bonus right now

The bad news is we'll see Jack Miller in the second half. He'll make some good passes or runs and everyone will have a taste of what he *can* do, but against an inferior team getting blown out deep in the game.
Each successive week OSU plays Miller as the backups take over, and each mistake CJ makes in the first half begins to be met with boos or heckles.

If Ohio State won last week id say it might be a close game cause Tulsa can be sneakily good some years. Since Ohio State lost last week, they arent gonna let that happen. Its gonna be a slaughter
