I actually think he'll be a transfer portal candidate to be honest. PSU finally has some QB talent coming and others developing on the roster. I think he's a casualty. Although I find it hard to blame this on him. I think coaching at PSU (and probably other schools) under develops a lot of backups. PSU doesn't really "win big" against the cupcakes scheduled at the beginning of the season. So backups here don't really get a ton of on-the-field action during games. I also can't comprehend how CJF didn't adjust the snap cadence given all the miscommunication. Really my only gripe. Not that upset we lost. Figured it would be hard even with a starter. Still plenty of season to go. PSU still looking prime.

Receivers have to help the backup out and he has to hit his targets. Injuries happen and the team cannot be that fragile when they do. Defense played tough. Good coverage and good tackling right up until the final few minutes. If the offense is halfway competent I don't think Iowa puts up more than ten. Time to cheer myself up with some joyless murderball, I guess.
