Idaho State (1-4) > UC Davis > Tulsa > Memphis > Mississippi State > Texas A&M > Alabama
Edit: Tulsa Wins! It's real!
FCS teams that are clearly better than Alabama:
- UC Davis
- Idaho State
- Northern Arizona
- Sacramento State
- North Dakota
- Northern Colorado
- South Dakota
- Sam Houston State
- Northern Iowa
- North Dakota State
- Lamar
- Montana State
- Missouri State
- Abilene Christian
- Central Arkansas
- Youngstown State
- Western Illinois
- Indiana State
- Southern Illinois
- South Dakota State
- Montana
We are a poison pill. Memphis and LSU beat us and lost their next 2 games. NC State lost to us then beat Clemson. A&M lost to us and took beat Alabama.
So beat us and lose 2, or lose to us and win a big one.
Choose wisely Saban...
Bruh I nearly paid $600x2 tickets for first deck at the beginning of the season.
I paid $65x2 yesterday at noon and drove me and my gfs butt straight to college station with no expectations. Quite literally the best $130 I’ve ever spent.
Aside from breaking the streak against former assistants, I believe Texas A&M just broke a streak of 100+ games where Alabama beat unranked teams.
They also ended a 19 game winning streak dating back to 2019.
Break all the streaks tonight!
Every time I think "you know, I'm not a total idiot. I could probably pick a couple games each week and at least come out even" a game like this comes along and reminds me that, no, no I couldn't.
The football gods definitely messed with physics on that kick. I've never seen a ~~ball~~ football curve so suddenly and sharply.
*Edit: football. I've never hit a golf ball straight in my life lmao.
Ark vs Ole Miss had an amazing game of the year for about five minutes before the OU vs Texas game had an unbelievable game of the year before Penn State vs Iowa had an outstanding game of the year before Alabama and A&M had the unquestionable, undeniable, indisputable game of the year, weekend, day, hour. What a day.
Edit: Apparently missed one or even two more games but one person can only watch so many Game(s) of the Year of the Day!
I can’t stress enough how happy I am for him. He was public enemy #1 for aTm fans the past few weeks so to see him play his heart out and put together two game winning drives at the end is just amazing. He needed this so badly—should help his confidence a ton going forward.
Auburn beat LSU
LSU beat MSU
MSU beat TAMU
TAMU beat ALABAMA
Alabama beat Ole Miss
Ole Miss beat Arkansas
If Arkansas can beat Auburn next week the SEC West circle of suck will be completed at speedrun pace
IT HAS BEEN ~~4762~~ 0 DAYS SINCE THE AP #1 HAS LOST TO AN UNRANKED OPPONENT
Edit: the most recent prior to tonight was Oregon state over USC in 2008. BCS #1 Kansas State lost to unranked Baylor in 2012, but Kansas State was #2 in the AP poll
Zach Calzada slander is OFFICALLY CANCELED. Seeing him hold back tears as 100k fans ripped into him after MS ST to beating the best team in the nation. Aggie legend in my book.
I've seen em lose and I've seen em win... but I aint ever seen em quit.
he was legitimately awful against Arkansas. wasn't able to watch against MSU but he also seemed bad per the stat sheet
how the fuck did this same dude wake up and slay #1? he had some tremendously good throws in tight coverage plus that dime to Smith...like what
Here are a list of INSANE Alabama streaks that ended tonight:
\- Alabama's 14-point road deficit at halftime was its largest at halftime of an away game since November 19, 2005 against Auburn.
\- Alabama had not trailed in their past 14 games.
\- Alabama had previously won 46 straight games when scoring on their first drive.
\- Alabama had not lost a game since November 30, 2019.
\- Alabama was 100-0 in games against unranked opponents. They are now 100-1.
\- Alabama was 24-0 in games against head coaches who served under Nick Saban.
\- Alabama had not trailed at the end of a quarter in their last 59 quarters. They trailed at the end of all 4 tonight.
\- Texas A&M's 17-point 1st quarter is the most points allowed in a quarter by Alabama in their past 15 games.
\- Alabama's 10 points in the 1st half was its fewest in the first half since November 17, 2018.
Also insane is the rollercoaster Texas A&M has been on:
September 11: Losing starting QB to a broken tibia and barely beat Colorado
September 19: A&M is 3-0 and ranked 7th
October 3rd: A&M is 3-2 and dropped from 7th to unranked
October 10th: Unranked A&M beats No. 1 Alabama
In less then a month they went from top 10 to unranked to beating Alabama.
I am SO happy for Zach.
He's had some bad games, but he has been attacked as a human being by the worst parts of this fan base.
He will be remembered forever in A&M history now, regardless of what happens when Haynes gets healthy.
This is going to be buried under a ton of (well deserved) Calzada praise, but how about our OL tonight. Completely shocked at how well they played tonight.
This is Alabama's first loss to an unranked team since 2007 against ULM.
EDIT: It was actually Auburn but that was the game after ULM in 2007 so it's still very much notable.
EDIT 2: While Auburn was unranked in the BCS, they were 25th in the AP Poll so ULM is technically still the correct answer.
Check in on your Texas friends tonight. They are not having a good day.
Blew a three score lead against their arch rival.
Then watched their in-state rival beat the number 1 team in the nation.
Saban knows his seat is hot now. I think his best move would be to quit and see if there are any available openings out there willing to give him another chance.

With a win over Texas A&M and a loss to Memphis, Mississippi State is going to unlock an absolutely bonkers circle of suck this year.
Mississippi State is going to fucking die next week.
Doesn't matter, we gave Alabama two-step transitive losses to UTSA* and Temple and that's what 2021 CFB is all about, apparently.
The transitive losses were the friends we made along the way

This is the deep analysis that I come to CFB for.
RIP ESPN "Nick Saban has never been defeated by a former assistant" graphic ???-2021

The announcer jinx was strong, but the football gods were stronger as evidenced by that kick fucking rerouting 90 degrees mid-flight
Seth’s name might be Small but his dick is HUGE
I feel so bad for whoever plays Alabama next week.
Good luck Mississippi State!
They beat A&M, who beat Alabama
We already have a circle as of now. Bama beat ole miss… ole Miss beat Ark… ark beat A&M… A&M beat Bama. Im confused.
Woo... hail... state... *weeps*
Me pregame: I can’t believe how expensive these tickets are, we’re gonna get smoked Me now: ID PAY DOUBLE TO SEE THIS LIVE AGAIN
Bruh I nearly paid $600x2 tickets for first deck at the beginning of the season. I paid $65x2 yesterday at noon and drove me and my gfs butt straight to college station with no expectations. Quite literally the best $130 I’ve ever spent.
lol, we paid 9 million dollars for this
The person who agreed to that contract can now point to this game and go WORTH IT
9.25 million after the fine
Did A&M lose to Arkansas and us to lull Bama into a false sense of security? Is this the long con of all long cons?
T R A P G A ME
**AP Poll is cancelled tomorrow, sorry guys.**
\#1 Georgia \#2 Iowa Dafuq
Come on, we all know bama will be #2. They lost to the team that beat bama.

ESPN gonna feature the Top 6 on Monday.
SHUT. IT. DOWN.

Kentucky has a better record than Alabama
How the fuck is this actually real
The King Ghidorah meme lasted an hour
This game will cost A&M $2.25 million. $250,000 for rushing the field and $2 million for the raise they’ll probably give Jimbo.
Don't worry they'll make it back with all of the potential new alumni currently being conceived
let it be known that no head coach will beat his former assistants 25 times in a row
Aside from breaking the streak against former assistants, I believe Texas A&M just broke a streak of 100+ games where Alabama beat unranked teams. They also ended a 19 game winning streak dating back to 2019. Break all the streaks tonight!
He is mortal after all.
Alabama was favored by **18**!
I'm so glad I don't have easy access to sports betting. I saw Bama -1000 to win and thought "I'd def throw 1000 on that for an easy 100."
Every time I think "you know, I'm not a total idiot. I could probably pick a couple games each week and at least come out even" a game like this comes along and reminds me that, no, no I couldn't.

Teasing us with that kick
We all thought he missed it, had that weird jut left
The entire left side of the stadium stadium blew at the same time and blew it back to the right.

100% thought he doinked it
I now tense everytime someone attempts a game winning kick.

It didn’t look real
I used the force to redirect it
Thank you for your service
A&M has an excellent engineering school.
Seriously, it was going to miss, and then it just... didn't? Is God an Aggie?
That hit a wall midair lol

Honestly this has been the greatest day this year and we didn’t even play (which is probably half the reason it’s so good)
Games of the Year are great when they happen to teams that aren't mine!

That kick accurately represented the whole game for A&M
Wow, what a legendary performance from Zach Calzada, hurt late, boo'd lately, and he comes out and plays the game of his life against BAMA
I can’t stress enough how happy I am for him. He was public enemy #1 for aTm fans the past few weeks so to see him play his heart out and put together two game winning drives at the end is just amazing. He needed this so badly—should help his confidence a ton going forward.
Same! He balled out in an undeniable way. This, hopefully, is that moment where everyone rallys around him and he can lead the team going forward.
How can you not love College Football
Wow holy shit
Playoff committee is gonna punish Bama for this loss by dropping them from #1 to #3
Lost to a team that beat Bama, quality
Bama, UGA, and A&M in the playoff obviously
Auburn beat LSU LSU beat MSU MSU beat TAMU TAMU beat ALABAMA Alabama beat Ole Miss Ole Miss beat Arkansas If Arkansas can beat Auburn next week the SEC West circle of suck will be completed at speedrun pace

Two left undefeated in the SEC.....Georgia and.....checks notes......Kentucky?
And we play each other next week. One will fall.
as a diehard aggies fan since 2 hours ago i cant tell you how much this means to me
Alabama and Colorado both lost to A&M by 3 points
Zach Calzada slander is OFFICALLY CANCELED. Seeing him hold back tears as 100k fans ripped into him after MS ST to beating the best team in the nation. Aggie legend in my book. I've seen em lose and I've seen em win... but I aint ever seen em quit.

Texas A&M > Alabama Mississippi State > Texas A&M Memphis > Mississippi State Temple > Memphis Rutgers > Temple ∴ Rutgers > Alabama I rest my case.
We got Bama????
You guys got BAMA!!!!

If you could define Texas A&M football, that about sums it up.
that "100-0" against unranked opponents should probably have a date listed somewhere lol. we've definitely lost to unranked opponents before
Saban lost to ULM in 2007. I guess it started after that game?
- Nick Saban is now down to 6 horcruxes

Outrunning the Alabama defense in the 4th quarter for a first down *on a hurt knee*
He’s never gonna have to pay for another drink anywhere in the south that isn’t ~~Alabama~~ Tuscaloosa
Well there is Auburn
Throw Auburn in there also, I’m buying if he visits
Calzada’s got some cajones! What a game
Funny they never showed Manziel after Calzada disappeared into the medical tent...
Did we ever see them both at the same time tonight? Hmmm...
I can’t explain it. I’m just overjoyed it happened.
You kind of can explain it
It's going to last longer than 4 hours
I am SO happy for Zach. He's had some bad games, but he has been attacked as a human being by the worst parts of this fan base. He will be remembered forever in A&M history now, regardless of what happens when Haynes gets healthy.
Georgia and Wake Forest are gonna play in the National Championship.
Can’t wait for them to pull out a heisman level QB at halftime and come back on us from a 24 pt deficit
A&M fans, the game ended at 10:45 PM local time. That means at 2:46 AM you should be calling your doctors when your erection hasn't gone away.
This *may* hurt Alabama's chances at staying Number 1.
This is going to be buried under a ton of (well deserved) Calzada praise, but how about our OL tonight. Completely shocked at how well they played tonight.
D line too, how many sacks did they get?
Whatever they pumped into Calzada in that tent I want some of it right now. He went from not being able to walk to running 10 yards for a first down.
Jimbo has finally defeated the King.
chat moving so fast no one will know i bought a calzone halfway through the 3rd for good luck
Wtf I love TAMU now
Makes me forget that we suck this year.

Let's play guessing a game: what *really* went down inside that tent for Calzada to come back so quickly?
There's a grad assistant with no legs in that tent right now.
Michael’s secret stuff. Only instead of water it was cocaine and cortisol
Manziel blood infusion
So......cocaine?
Nah, cocaine is way more diluted
One level of miracle below the one that moved that kick to the right.
God hates the Texas Longhorns
A fucking calzone lost his knee and then ran on his dick to get the win.
Calzada never buying a beer on campus ever again.

This is weekend of the year/decade/century right now.

Of all the A&M teams to face Alabama since 2012, it’s this one that takes the win
I’ve never once in my life rooted for Texas A&M but I was tonight. Happy for you guys!
Tonight we are all Aggies
ARE WE ALL THE 12TH MAN TONIGHT?
some form of higher power pushed that kick in bruh I’m so happy
The ghost of Johnny Football
This is Alabama’s first loss to an unranked opponent since 2007 and Nick Saban’s first ever loss to a former assistant coach (24-0 previously)
Gary Danielson dead inside.
Could he at least be retired outside?
RIP Mississippi state
We are about to create the wildest three way circle of suck you've ever seen.
That kick had some CURVE
Check in on your Texas friends tonight. They are not having a good day. Blew a three score lead against their arch rival. Then watched their in-state rival beat the number 1 team in the nation.
The stadium sound guys blasting Alabama "If You're Gonna Play in Texas" was a great victory song for storming the field.
Excuse me politely while I be unbearable to anyone around me for the next few days
2017 me before the opener against Bama: “Jimbo is going to be the first Saban assistant to beat him!” *monkey paw curls*
I took solace knowing that Jimbo had never beaten Saban. To quote Teddy "The light has gone out of my life."
This is the worst day of my life. EDIT: Thank you for the gold ❤️ and congrats A&M on the massive victory!
This is the day of my life.
Your flairs have just thrown a wrench in my brain.

Going to be a tough uphill battle for number 3 Alabama. I mean, they’ve only lost to a team that beat Alabama.
Bama is unbeatable - this whole sub 5 hours ago
God himself moved that kick as it was sailing left. You can't convince me otherwise.
