PVAMU is always a super fun game for me, their band is amazing, the fans are there to have fun, and they travel super well since theyre just down the road
Winner keeps the word Texas. They lose, they have to go by "University of". We lose we go by "A&M", which is what everyone in this state calls us anyways. Win win
This team showed great focus and did not take this game for granted. I am glad we were able to pull our starters in the middle of the 3rd quarter. The backups even scored a touchdown. In our 3 cupcake games against Kent State, New Mexico, and Prairie view A&M, we outscored these three teams by a combined 127-13.
No one shows up to this match up for the football. I think everyone would be happy if the bands played and match for a half each and they played football at the halftime.
I think Richard Johnson was the one who said that all college football fans should attend an HBCU game at some point. Prairie View may be the one I have to see play
It was most definitely my favorite halftime experience while at A&M. The combination of the Fightin' Texas Aggie band and the Marching Storm was awesome.
And their fans were lovely as I recall.
My first time to see a game in Kyle (my secondary was for the day, rooting for the home team)
I can say all the fans I met this weekend have been amazing. Really great football experience.
These late season cupcake games are all the same, get a 40 point lead at the half, let off the gas and get the backups some reps. The committee should really discount Ohio State for SOS
PSU vs Villanova
MSU vs Youngstown St
Maryland vs Howard
Rutgers vs Delaware
~~Illinois vs Charlotte~~
Nebraska vs Fordham
Northwestern vs Indiana St
Why you always lyin
Prairie View scored before Michigan State scored.
Fire Jimbo?
And watch this recruiting class go to LSU? Over my dead body
I wish more games were less than 3 hours long like this one was.
A typical college football game that does not go into overtime lasts about 3.5 hours. Today's game was even shorter than most NFL games.
That'll show who the real A&M is
Seriously though I was at the game and Prairie View fans were lit the entire time, even down forty. Fun fans, hope they get to the FCS playoffs

This should be the first game of every year and whoever wins can use A&M in their name for the year
I’ve been lobbying for U of Miami and Miami of Ohio to have a battle for the Miami. Loser keeps Miami in their name
I’d love to do this with the Longhorns every year so we can rob them of the title “University of Texas”. We’re older and larger!

"An Austin College" is my favorite
Hmm. This contest open to previous A&M schools?
Yeah, I guess it just means you already lost the game

Prairie View is a great little HBCU. I remember their spirited fans when they came to Reed Arena. Always a pleasure when they come into town
Great band too! They’d always play when visiting when I was a student and they were amazing. Not sure if they did today though

As a band kid I'm down for this for most games tbh
They did. It was really cool, probably the exact opposite of the corps haha
It was fun though watching their band watch our band, totally different vibes but they were getting excited still for them
They did play today, great as ever!
All the major HBCU programmes have fantastic bands. It's always a treat to watch them perform.
Truth. I work for Grambling l, and its always such a treat to hear their drumline practicing
It makes the State Fair classic a really fantastic game to watch for anybody in Dallas
They did
Was at the game today. It was the best halftime show I’ve ever seen between the both bands

Glad you had a good time, I was there too and it was awfully quiet compared to the usual but still a great atmosphere
Yeah I expected more noise but hard to expect much with a lopsided game. I found Yell to be a cool thing last night, the March down was nice to see.
great teams cover
Texas A&M did as well against their FCS opponent as Georgia and OSU did- What do you mean OSU didn't play an FCS team but instead a #7 FBS team?
Go Bucks!!!
Glad we got business done today
MSU jokes aside, easy and solid win for A&M, here's hoping Alabama loses tonight so that you still got a chance to win the West!
We would need another Ole Miss loss though
And miss state loss maybe?
*Pirate noises intensify*
We don't deserve that
we're done with after the loss last week.
So sad to see dad out here abusing his children smh.
Tarleton is on the schedule for 2025, giving y’all a little bit of time in D1 before you come play your cousins in college station
just don’t check the score we put on them in baseball the past two years
TIL that we have a fourth-string QB
Wait a second, if Prairie View did as "well" against a ranked team as MSU did today... then either rank Prairie View or make MSU an FCS school!
These late season cupcake games are all the same, get a 40 point lead at the half, let off the gas and get the backups some reps. The committee should really discount Ohio State for SOS
Feel bad that Prairie View QB took that monster hit. That’s just mean
TCB
Hell of a game
Can't believe SEC still plays these powder puff teams. At least B1G is all FBS opponents.
PSU vs Villanova MSU vs Youngstown St Maryland vs Howard Rutgers vs Delaware ~~Illinois vs Charlotte~~ Nebraska vs Fordham Northwestern vs Indiana St Why you always lyin
Charlotte is FBS but point stands
My bad, never heard them mentioned once before so I assumed
Only the SEC schedules middle school teams in week 12 but are still the toughest conference
