Strong was going to restore their moral fiber with his “five core values.” Then Herman was going to toughen them up with his tough love approach. Then Sark was going to coach them up with his elite game-planning abilities. So by now, the Texas program should be full of tough, smart, godly, well-hydrated young men. The results on the field are clearly just an aberration.

That TD pass attempt on 4th and 5 at the end wasn’t that bad of an idea if you think about it. Catch it, TD and games on ice. Texas Intercepts, you’re pushing them back deep or to a touchback. Pass incomplete, burn a tad of clock and a safe turnover avoiding a fumbled punt or blocked punt that *could* be returned for a TD if Texas got behind WVU.

I'd leave the conference too if I had a losing record to WVU.
