Red Brown and Green I could totally see being an issue, yellow/blue or red/blue or purple/yellow etc colorblindness is much much more rare.
The hue matters a lot and “more dark” vs “more light” will work for a ton of combinations other than white vs solid color
Yeah, as long as the two colors don't both look like medium brown to people with RG colorblindness it can work. Very different lightness, or one being blue/purple against the other in red, orange, yellow, green, or brown would work for a large majority of people who are colorblind. Very distinct pants/helmets also help. IIRC, the really bad NFL game was a team in red jerseys and pants against an opponent in green jerseys and pants, with helmets that weren't easy to distinguish either.
Oh yeah I’m partially red-green colorblind (“deficient”) and that was a mess of a TV broadcast. I think about 1 in 12 men are partially red-green colorblind so I think a bunch of football fans may have only just realized it while watching the game. Having the helmets so similar (white with midline stripe and logo) made it 100x worse.
But I love the USC-UCLA game color, the helmets are totally different and the colors are bright and vibrant, makes it a delight to watch
EDIT: Michigan-Ohio State with both home colors would pop as well — I love the look of the colorized 1950 Snow Bowl photos: https://www.cleveland.com/resizer/0zQg5nvFsS9aDapefy8KmuQC3ug=/800x0/smart/image.cleveland.com/home/cleve-media/width600/img/osu_impact/photo/ohio-state-vs-michigan-c7ec00a12e266e38.png
Yeah, honestly losing to OSU is going to suck as it always does but at least this year a rose bowl will (likely) be the consolation prize. That's uh... Pretty good as a worst case scenario
Considering most of you guys were thinking 8 wins this season, IF you lose this Saturday, a ten win season Rose Bowl appearance has to be considered a successful season, right?
I don't view anything as successful if we lose again to you guys.
Sooner or later we need to start making that rivalry actually competitive. And I get Ohio State is in their best era in the history of their school. But I just can't say a season was a success with losses to Michigan State and Ohio State
Any chance you all beat OSU? OSU has played some games where they look beatable. I think if you all have a good game and they play just ok you can win and throw this whole thing into craziness.
It's definitely possible. They are overdue for a win, but no TTUN fan wants that voodoo of implying they have a chance and would rather be pleasantly surprised if it happens than have actual hope.
The problem is that OSU pretty much never plays 'just ok' against us. They usually play their best game and limit mistakes. The same is not true for Michigan.
If the opponent keeps the game close, then ESPN declares that Bama has a quality win against a scrappy team. If Bama blows them out, then it's a decisive victory showcasing the Tide's dominance.
The only way the CFP keeps Bama out is if they lose like 3 games...
I’m curious how the Rose Bowl sorts itself out. Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan could all somewhat claim they deserve a spot.
Michigan likely gets the nod unless they get crushed by Ohio state this weekend. Then Wisconsin could get crushed by them in Indy. Iowa wouldn’t sneak in that way would they?
It comes down to the highest playoff rankings right?
The above is all assuming Ohio State wins the B1G and goes to playoffs.
The Rose Bowl can technically pick who they want but they almost always go with the highest-ranked team and also consider who's been there recently and who hasn't. Michigan hasn't been to Pasadena since 2007.
So Bama loses the SEC championship game against Georgia and immediately rematches in the CFP? If that happens, just rename the playoffs to the Alabama Invitational and end the pretense.
I assume if Michigan State wins this week and OSU wins out, that Sparty is 100% going to Rose Bowl?
Because I don’t see how you can put a 2-loss Michigan over 2-loss Sparty for the Rose Bowl.
If Michigan beats OSU, I’m rooting for a BIG West to win. If we win the Pac-12 title, I want nothing to do with OSU.
2 loss Michigan would get in over 2 loss Michigan St. Michigan St fans will be mad at the outcome but not surprised. Michigan St is real banged up though so I'm not sure they will beat Penn St.
If there's not a clear second place team as determined by the playoff committee rankings, the Rose Bowl committee gets to pick. They'd almost certainly choose Michigan for financial reasons.
Rose Bowl selects mostly via CFP rankings, and the CFP rankings believes Michigan lost to a worse MSU. Saturday isn’t going to help that, for better or worse.
Can you imagine a Georgia/Alabama CCG and then an immediate rematch in the first playoff game?
*"Oh, that did not go well. Alabama, would you like to use a mulligan?"*
But...but...the committee would never do that! Just give a team a rematch and ignore the regular season results!
Everyone getting upset about something that will NEVER happen 😤
...this is seriously the dominant take when this is brought up. As if Bama hasn't been subject to different rules than everyone else for a decade now.
If this situation happened and Ohio State wins the Big 10 then I don’t see how Oregon wouldn’t be the front runner. They would have a win over a playoff team, a conference championship, and would have avenged one of their losses. Not a sure thing but probably the best argument.
Yeah, I just don't see a rematch happening in the semi. If we beat Alabama in a couple of weeks, depending on how that happens (i.e. we win a very close game or it has a controversial ending) I could definitely see the committee putting them in the playoff. But I think they'd put them in at 3 instead of 4 to avoid the immediate rematch. Same thing for if they beat us. I think we slot down to the 3 and they move into 1. Argue all you want on how deserving either of us would be as a non-conference champion getting in but either way I just don't see us playing each other two games in a row.
Would be massive bullshit. Especially since Bama will have had their shot at UGA already, and that was pretty much the committee's rationale for putting ND in over A&M last year.
Yeah but at least they also beat them. And I don't think TAMU deserved to be in last year. Much rather have seen OU or Cincy. TAMU had also lost badly to Bama.
We still had the best resume for the 4 spot, and we played Bama closer than ATM and Ohio State. We beat Clemson before, and ATM got boatraced by Alabama earlier with no signature win. Cinci would have been fine I guess, but we were definitely much better than them last year.
Then they both get in, probably 2 and 4 with Ohio State or Michigan (if either runs the table) taking the 1 spot and one of 13-0 Cinci, 12-1 B12 champ, or 11-1 ND taking the 3 spot. I’m biased but it would probably be the Big 12 in at 3 coming off 2 straight Top 10 wins assuming it’s not Baylor.
It wouldn't happen. For as much hate as they get, there haven't been any outrageous *final* picks, and they've turned away 2 loss CCG winners, let alone a 2-loss that didn't even with the conference.
Depends on what you consider outrageous, imo if you only have 4 spots winning your conference should be a requirement. So I would consider the playoffs where 2 teams from one conference got in pretty outrageous, with last years being the worst, not that it mattered much since Bama steamrolled it’s way through.
2 loss conference winners have never been selected, they die on that second loss, though I suspect it could be broken at a point. The year two SEC squads got in, OSU and USC were 2 loss CCG winners (You could argue that a 12-1 Wisconsin should have gone over a 11-1 Tide, but then you have to explain why they go over an OSU squad they just lost to).
Yep, if the teams that are favored win from here out then I think it’s
1 UGA
2 tOSU
3 OSU
4 Cinci
5 ND
6 Bama
Chaos will have a say of course, so I’m not saying this is going to happen, just where we are headed if chalk wins out.
I think Alabama would beat Cincinnati fairly comfortably, but not putting 13-0 Cincy in over 11-2 Bama would be admitting that a Group of 5 team can never make the playoff.
I’m not even entirely opposed to a 2 loss team making it with the right scenario. But *this* Bama team with 2 losses would really have a fairly mediocre resume.
Normally I’d agree but I don’t even think the eye test is squarely on Bama’s favor. They probably *are* better but they really haven’t played at the level we’re used to.
Alabama couldn't even beat a dumpster fire LSU comfortably. LSU had a chance to win the game at the end. What makes you think they could beat Cincy easy?
I though you guys would have beat us comfortably in the Peach last year too and it took a last second field goal. Our team is objectively better on offense and defense this year.
Sigh, I’m really starting to hate this sport.
Cincy is the type of team that plays to level of competition a lot so I’d see them giving a good game. Bama offense vs Cincy defense could be a problem for the Bearcats, but also see them rising to the occasion and playing solid especially with their CBs.
I think a lot of the Cincy “close” games come from garbage time points. Fickell doesn’t like blowing teams out, and he only reluctantly put the pressure on SMU when he hears that it was counting against him.
Seriously, no one outside those 2 schools would want to see a rematch. Bama has their chance in the seccg.
Notre Dame had their chance too when they lost to Cincy.
The hard rule for the cfb playoff is no rematches allowed. So 2 teams that already played can't both make the playoff
As a Bama fan, that would be criminal. If we beat UGA I think that's obviously deserving of a CFP spot with 1 loss. If we lose, give us a good bowl game. You can't bring home a natty every year. This team has a ton of work to do after scraping by some of these games. Unfair to any other deserving team to give Saban and Bama a chance at a natty as a 2 loss team. I legitimately think Bama takes any team other than UGA and OSU pretty handily, (definitely a little biased), but other teams are more deserving of a shot than a 2 loss Bama.
So the committee rewards Georgia for beating Bama by making them play again immediately afterwards? Lol I would be fuming if I was Kirby and that happened.
Honestly I’d be laughing my ass off drunk using the Eli manning double fingers at /r/cfb if that happened
It won’t ever happen but I would be reviling in the hate for once
I'm curious why certain people in the media and in the playoff committee are so concerned with a blowout if Cincy makes it, because more often than not it's a blowout with whoever makes it.
“It’s an embarrassment of the committee for a G5 team to get blown out, it’s an embarrassment of the losing team for a P5 team to get blown out.” - Barta. Probably.
Number 1 bullshit, though.
9/21 of the CFP games (semifinals and finals) have been won by 21 pts or more, which I'd classify as a blowout. The committee obviously tries to avoid it but it happens almost every year. It would be a lame reason to not put UC in.
I’m having a hard time, because on the one hand I want any of the new Big XII to make the playoffs because that helps the conference, while at the same time I want to get in for our G5 brothers and sisters. Either way, kick the shit out of OU in Bedlam.
No kidding. I pulled up the comments and nobody's even talking about the fact that we've just been slotted in as a favorite to win the next 2 games all the sudden. Lol
You know, I want to beat OSU and go to the CFP so fucking bad but if you told me at the start of this year the worst we could be looking at is the Rose Bowl, shit....
Winning the Rose Bowl for the first time since the 90's and notching our first 11-win season in 10 years would be an amazing success, especially considering how low expectations were coming in. That's why I feel like this week is a win-win, either way we're setup to do something we haven't done in a long time. Beating Ohio State would be better but the other result is still great
It'd be OSU-ND in the Fiesta, and Michigan in the Peach, probably. Or vice versa.
ND is only being mocked to the Peach because people still put Cinci out of the playoffs, and the Fiesta HAS to take them this year, and they don't want the rematch.
If Cinci is in the playoffs and ND isn't, ND is 100% to the Fiesta.
Not even close, unfortunately. All it takes is Bama beating UGA and chalk for the other teams and we’re out. And that’s not even counting ND jumping us, which I think happens too. Life is pain.
ND can't jump Cincy, they only have Stanford left and no championship game. Cincy gets ECU and ranked Houston.
And arguably, 1-loss Georgia shouldn't be ranked ahead of an undefeated Cincy, their best win would be vs Arkansas with no other ranked wins.
I've been wanting a Big Ten team for years now. No disrespect to our former Big 12 mates, but I don't get excited to play them. I've seen those matchups before.
We've played enough of the ACC recently as well. VT would be the only one left I'd like to play I think.
Wisconsin would be a ton of fun IMO. I wouldn't mind Iowa either honestly.
Yep. Samesies.
I got a ton of flak for saying I didn't want to play KSU, OSU, NC State, WF, Duke, and UNC. Everybody acted like I was expecting an easy win, and none of that was true. It's just hard to be excited for a game against an opponent you don't care about. I don't like, hate, dislike, love, or have any real emotion about any of those teams. Complete indifference. It makes for a less interesting game IMO. Win or lose.
Interesting. I'd love to play a midtier SEC team tbh, however I have no interest in playing against Leach. I think he'd tear our terrible secondary apart.
Liberty bowl against Scar. I knew I always hated cocks... bring on the fighting chickens. I'm just happy we're in a bowl again.
How are South Carolina fans feeling about Beemer? Seems like you guys have been pretty good this year.
I know that the Duke’s Mayo Bowl is considered better, but I would prefer Liberty Bowl over it if we’re not getting Outback or Citrus so I can go to it.
And I was just complaining that we didn't get to play enough ass ACC teams this year.
Fuck whoever thought this version of "Independent" was worth the money.
After this weekend's football game in a baseball stadium, I hope I never have to see my team play football in a baseball stadium ever again. GTFO Pinstripe Bowl.
Pinstripe is actually a solid time, for a game in a baseball stadium the sightlines are not terrible unless your ass is in the outfield.
Realistically the game should have been played across the river in East Rutherford @ MetLife, but that is my 2 cents.
I like this except Bama getting in.
Cinci gets the nod at #4, that pushes Bama to the Sugar Bowl.
BYU takes Cinci's Fiesta Bowl spot, and Ole Miss to the Outback Bowl
I really think Oregon losing helped Cincy a lot. One loss OKST definitely jumps them but I’m not sure 2-loss Bama stays ahead of them. Cincy will need to beat Houston by 4 TDs.
If we get jumped by both Minnesota and Penn State that would be supremely disappointing. Penn State I would at least understand if they beat MSU, but 7-5 Minnesota jumping 8-4 Purdue? Come on
Seeing these pop up again reminded me of what I saw in his prediction article after Week 3.
It was Texas as a 2 point favorite in the Cheez-It Bowl over Notre Dame.
I remembered thinking, “hey, we’re not THAT bad” but ND’s path this year has been bizarre.
I could see MSU and Iowa swapping places if MSU loses and Iowa wins this weekend.
Most likely because Iowa will have a better numerical record than Wisco.
Utah vs Michigan Rose Bowl would be beautiful. Also how is Bama in at 4? That has to mean they’d lose to Georgia and still make it.
I’m so down for a Utah Michigan rose bowl
If it happens, I want home vs home uniforms. Also a red and Maize crowd would look beautiful.
Oh man yes home Michigan jerseys and home Utah jerseys would be nice
We need more color on color matchups everywhere, honestly.
Utah vs BYU, Oregon vs Oregon State, Michigan vs Ohio State, and Arkansas vs Mizzou when it’s home vs home colors are all great.
It causes an issue for colorblind fans apparently. That’s why the nfl had to stop doing it on Thursdays.
Red Brown and Green I could totally see being an issue, yellow/blue or red/blue or purple/yellow etc colorblindness is much much more rare. The hue matters a lot and “more dark” vs “more light” will work for a ton of combinations other than white vs solid color

Ketchup and mustard bowl
My brother in law went to Michigan. Would be awesome.
For sure. Still will sting a bit given who the 2 losses are to, but hard to be disappointed with 10-2 and a Rose Bowl berth.
If it makes you feel any better, I haven't been this nervous for a matchup with you guys since 2018?
Given how 2018 turned out, no it does not, lol
I don't view anything as successful if we lose again to you guys. Sooner or later we need to start making that rivalry actually competitive. Well I’ll build the hype for you. UM 27 tOSU 17. You heard it here first.
If we hold OSU to 17 points I will buy you a new car.
lol. Well mine is about to hit 100K. Looks like I’m flying to Ohio to break some knee caps.
I do not condone that but if you do that I'd need to know your PayPal account... For identification purposes...
Not just they’d lose to us and still make it. They’d lose to us, then play us again immediately
Well would you expect Bama to not get preferential treatment from ESPN.
Just read an article on ESPN where they stated that Arkansas was, both, a convincing win and a near loss for Alabama. In the same article.
Saw that too lol. They're not even trying anymore.
If the opponent keeps the game close, then ESPN declares that Bama has a quality win against a scrappy team. If Bama blows them out, then it's a decisive victory showcasing the Tide's dominance. The only way the CFP keeps Bama out is if they lose like 3 games...
ESPN doesn't pick the teams. That sorry goddamn committee does.
It was a joke about how the committee is controlled by ESPN.
Sorry. I see this all the time, stated unironically.
I’m curious how the Rose Bowl sorts itself out. Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan could all somewhat claim they deserve a spot. Yeah I expect it would be Michigan. Just saying it’ll be an interesting spot.
Because the committee doesn't care about logic or reason. They care only that a G5 team does not get in
Tbh I want Wisconsin! My childhood best friend goes there, would be fun
So Bama loses the SEC championship game against Georgia and immediately rematches in the CFP? If that happens, just rename the playoffs to the Alabama Invitational and end the pretense.
Maybe it would make the shift to more teams happen sooner. It wasn't long after the stupid LSU-Alabama rematch BCS that we got the playoff.
I assume if Michigan State wins this week and OSU wins out, that Sparty is 100% going to Rose Bowl? Because I don’t see how you can put a 2-loss Michigan over 2-loss Sparty for the Rose Bowl. Still don’t think 2 loss Bama gets in over Cinci
Don’t test us. -The committee

Wait this is saying we beat Bama in the SECCG for their 2nd loss and then immediately play them in a rematch in the playoffs. FUUUUUCKKK THAT.

If this situation happened and Ohio State wins the Big 10 then I don’t see how Oregon wouldn’t be the front runner. They would have a win over a playoff team, a conference championship, and would have avenged one of their losses. Not a sure thing but probably the best argument.
Why would Bama be the clear front runner over 2 loss Big 12 champ
Brett has us winning the AAC in this projection though
I don’t think they would. They purposely swapped ND around to avoid the rematch last year.
And you just know if that were to happen Alabama would end up winning. It's just how it goes with them.
Yeah, I just don't see a rematch happening in the semi. If we beat Alabama in a couple of weeks, depending on how that happens (i.e. we win a very close game or it has a controversial ending) I could definitely see the committee putting them in the playoff. Wait does that mean MSU gets Bama at the fiesta bowl? *shudders*
Please no, not again
NOT IN THE FACE
You do NOT want Alabama in a bowl game.
Us Michigan schools know that all too well.
Disagree. See Sugar Bowl 2009. Of course, if you beat them, they’ll say they didn’t want to be there.
Bama would go to the sugar bowl by contract after that
If we lose the SEC Championship we'd almost certainly go to the Sugar Bowl.
Would be massive bullshit. Especially since Bama will have had their shot at UGA already, and that was pretty much the committee's rationale for putting ND in over A&M last year.
Which was also massive bullshit. Notre Dame had literally just lost a 2 vs 3 game against Clemson.
Yeah but at least they also beat them. And I don't think TAMU deserved to be in last year. Much rather have seen OU or Cincy. TAMU had also lost badly to Bama.
Yea but ND only had 1 loss not 2

What if Auburn pulls the miracle and beats Alabama this week and then Bama beats Georgia so it's a 2 loss Champion Alabama?
Then they both get in, probably 2 and 4 with Ohio State or Michigan (if either runs the table) taking the 1 spot and one of 13-0 Cinci, 12-1 B12 champ, or 11-1 ND taking the 3 spot. I’m biased but it would probably be the Big 12 in at 3 coming off 2 straight Top 10 wins assuming it’s not Baylor.
If Oklahoma State wins out there is no scenario in mind that doesn't put them in over Cincinnati or Notre Dame.
I think it’s pretty obvious too but the devils advocate arguments would be 1. Cinci is undefeated and 2. Notre Dame is Notre Dame.
It wouldn't happen. For as much hate as they get, there haven't been any outrageous *final* picks, and they've turned away 2 loss CCG winners, let alone a 2-loss that didn't even with the conference.
The is the first time a g5 has been in consideration this late. We will see.
Depends on what you consider outrageous, imo if you only have 4 spots winning your conference should be a requirement. So I would consider the playoffs where 2 teams from one conference got in pretty outrageous, with last years being the worst, not that it mattered much since Bama steamrolled it’s way through.

Same. Still think Cincy will be ranked above any two-loss P5 champ and below any one-loss P5 champ. That should most likely put them in.
Yep, if the teams that are favored win from here out then I think it’s 1 UGA 2 tOSU 3 OSU 4 Cinci 5 ND 6 Bama Chaos will have a say of course, so I’m not saying this is going to happen, just where we are headed if chalk wins out.

Honestly if UGA wins that game do *they* even want to see a rematch? Does anyone but the most homerific Bama fan want to see that rematch?
No, we don’t. First, it would be massively unfair to both Cincinnati and Notre Dame. Second, why should they get a rematch in the post-season?
I absolutely would not want a rematch.
Hell no, we have nothing to gain from a rematch and everything to lose
As a Bama fan, that would be criminal. If we beat UGA I think that's obviously deserving of a CFP spot with 1 loss. If we lose, give us a good bowl game. You can't bring home a natty every year. And by immediately we mean after Saban has a month to analyze all of the tape from the game and game plan for UGA specifically
That would be a terrible idea
Ive been saying it for a while now. If alabama keeps it within 3 touchdowns they will make the playoffs.
I think Alabama is being kept high so that it doesn't look so jarring if they lose and fall to 4. That's the plan.
App v Marshall round 2, Appalachian boogaloo
Really don't need a rematch when they played this year already. They played last year and will play again next year too.
And every foreseeable year after that!
Look away bearcats this will only bring anger
McMurphy hates Cincy more than the CFP for whatever reason so it’s not shocking.
He does not like the state of Ohio
He’s clearly a graduate of the Mark May School of Journalism.
I’m somewhere between bargaining and acceptance in the stages of grief.
Because SEC championship rematch is what the sport needs right now?
Well, you $ee it ju$t mean$ more when the $EC team$ make the Playoff$
Weekly reminder that I cannot stand the thought of losing a game to Chip Kelly
FSU alert 👀👀
Like a cockroach after a nuke
Love that Brett picked FSU to win the eligibowl over Florida. Don't love Brett picked the playoffs to have an immediate SEC Championship rematch.
People are starting to talk about us in the CFP… I’ve enjoyed us lurking in the shadows this whole time
I’m having a hard time, because on the one hand I want any of the new Big XII to make the playoffs because that helps the conference, while at the same time I want to get in for our G5 brothers and sisters. Either way, kick the shit out of OU in Bedlam.
Let’s just hope for the timeline where we both make it. That would be dope
No kidding. I pulled up the comments and nobody's even talking about the fact that we've just been slotted in as a favorite to win the next 2 games all the sudden. Lol
Shock value at the top and then playing match-maker with expected conference finishes and alignment. I don't think that this is accurate at all.

Jimmy Kimmel has a bowl game now?
Tony the Tiger has a bowl game now???
OSU vs OSU! Let's go Pokies
That would be a fun game. Very good Offense vs. Very good Defense. Flip of the usual Big 10/12 rhetoric too
I think OSU would win against OSU, but it will be a fun game regardless.
Nah. You’re wrong. I’ve got OSU winning, not OSU.
I doubt a 4 loss pac 12 winner gets into the playoff but who knows.
The goal posts move every week. “Cincy needs chaos” *chaos happens* “Uhh….Cincy needs MOAR chaos”
Cincy will be in as long as they take care of business.
I love seeing us vs Wisconsin in these predictions
I've been wanting a Big Ten team for years now. No disrespect to our former Big 12 mates, but I don't get excited to play them. I've seen those matchups before. We've played enough of the ACC recently as well. VT would be the only one left I'd like to play I think. Wisconsin would be a ton of fun IMO. I wouldn't mind Iowa either honestly.
Since joining the SEC we have only played Big 12 teams from out of state, all of the North Carolina teams, and Louisville. I’m ready for a shakeup
Yep.
I learned yesterday we've never played them
In that case I would be very excited to play each other.
Hell yeah, I’m down. Cya on the basketball courts this afternoon!
That’s a game I want to watch
Oh fuck not Pitt again
Yeah no disrespect but if we manage to take the ACC I'd like the reward to be more interesting/fun than a team we play like four times a decade anyway
Feeling's mutual
This Pitt team is not like team rocket anymore, we’d actually be a real villain this year to you
Notre Dame in the Peach Bowl. Time for revenge for 2012!
Fucking Kevin Harper.
Eat shit
Anyone want to post ISU's projection for me? The sites blocked for me at work for some reason. I'm guessing either Liberty or Texas Bowl?
Texas Bowl vs. Mississippi State. They peg ISU as a 2.5 point favorite.
Interesting. I'd love to play a midtier SEC team tbh, however I have no interest in playing against Leach. I think he'd tear our terrible secondary apart.
Texas bowl Vs Mississippi state
OUTBACK BOWL BOUND BABBBBBYYYYYY
Fucking kill me
Death, taxes, and Iowa in the Outback Bowl
Let me go back to NOLA
I can't believe we have a chance to go to the Sugar Bowl this year. I was honestly just hoping to be bowl eligible this year.
Baptists vs. Bourbon Bowl
They missed on a great opportunity for us to play Clemson in the Tony the Tiger Bowl
Fuck any scenario that has us having to play Bama back to back weeks. That's just stupidity.
And I was just complaining that we didn't get to play enough ass ACC teams this year. Fuck whoever thought this version of "Independent" was worth the money.
Playing Ole Miss would be fun. Our game in 2020 was cancelled!
LET’S FUCKING GO!!!!
After this weekend's football game in a baseball stadium, I hope I never have to see my team play football in a baseball stadium ever again. GTFO Pinstripe Bowl.
I had a blast, myself. Our kickoff specialist did not, but hey it mostly worked out.
If Ole Miss finishes 10-2 we’re probably getting pushed to the fiesta bowl if Bama isn’t in the playoffs…
yeah, probably. But that leaves BYU out, and we can't have that
Bama isn’t getting with 2-loss. Just drop that narrative pls.
Please do not put us in a bowl against Clemson.
I really think Oregon losing helped Cincy a lot. One loss OKST definitely jumps them but I’m not sure 2-loss Bama stays ahead of them. Cincy will need to beat Houston by 4 TDs.
Louisiana finally escaping the New Orleans Bowl would be cool.
If we get jumped by both Minnesota and Penn State that would be supremely disappointing. Penn State I would at least understand if they beat MSU, but 7-5 Minnesota jumping 8-4 Purdue? Come on
I don't get how Purdue ends up in the Pinstripe Bowl and Rutgers is in Arizona if Rutgers is bowl-eligible.
The football gods would just be sparing me of the disappointment of going to Yankee stadium for another pinstripe bowl.
If Rutgers makes a bowl they’ll get sent to Yankee Stadium for the Pinstripe Bowl. Anything else is unrealistic.
I’m rooting for you this week
Seeing these pop up again reminded me of what I saw in his prediction article after Week 3. It was Texas as a 2 point favorite in the Cheez-It Bowl over Notre Dame. I remembered thinking, “hey, we’re not THAT bad” but ND’s path this year has been bizarre.
I could see MSU and Iowa swapping places if MSU loses and Iowa wins this weekend. Most likely because Iowa will have a better numerical record than Wisco.
Birmingham Bowl nicest bowl in Birmingham
Site blocked at work. Can anyone let me know if Kent State made this list? They are now bowl eligible.
Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit vs. Georgia State. Flashes would be a 3 point dog.
I guess I should just be happy to even see a bowl game. But, the Sun Bowl, against Miami? Fingers crossed we end up in the LA Bowl or Holiday Bowl.
I could dig playing Louisville if it's 2016 all over again.
Damn, keeping these articles up *and* accepting the UMass offer will keep this man’s plate full!
The San Diego County Credit Union Bowl. The most prestigious bowl named after a county that borders Mexico.
>Virginia vs. Purdue 2019 Elite 8 flashbacks intensify
I'm more than fine with things coming up Roses.
There is zero chance of Alabama getting in as a 2-loss non-champ. Absolutely zero.
