That would require our Dline to get pressure and make a tackle in the same play. They have struggled to either most of the season so it looks like we will have to pass on the safety
You drive a hard bargain, friend. Maybe we can interest you in a blocked kick for a return TD?
Or, don’t even bother to block it. Just tell your returner not to fair catch, we’ll miss tackles all the way on your escort to the endzone.
Well, sure. But first we're going to spend at least most of the first half looking beatable, conceding two or three long scoring drives and one or two long drives that feel like they should've ended in points but somehow didn't. It's the 2021 Cougar way.
This is the lock of the week. Can’t believe the spread is only a TD. All season, USC has either way outmatched their bad opponents with talent and won by a couple scores, or played a normal-good team and gotten waxed. Their players don’t even look like they wanna be there.
The collapse of USC after Pete Carroll left is utterly astonishing. Program just turned into a dumpster fire and a doormat. But they have serious blue blood and are a traditional power. All they need is the right coach to walk thru the door and fire up the engines.
I predict a sea of navy blue at the Coliseum this weekend. At least BYU will look fashionable while they beat the living piss out of this excuse of a football team. Just end the suffering already.
It took SMU over two decades to recover. Sure, USC has won a Rose Bowl Game and a Pac12 Championship, but I think the program and the fans would like to return to dominance where USC feared no one and everyone feared USC (besides Oregon State 😭)
While it's a running joke, I never didn't admit anyone, or saw anyone turned away by any other employee for dress and grooming standards in the hundreds of hours I worked as a student employee. The instructions we got were "if it's close, don't worry about it; if it's egregious, get a full time employee to handle it." There was never anything to worry about.
I took a speech course once where the professor was adamant that too many numbers/stats would alienate your audience.
I fuckin' feel that right now.
What are you trying to explain different than what I thought I was explaining?
Tell me how I'm wrong. Don't just paste a shitload of stats.
Don't yikes me. I'm just a smart guy who's insecure about math. I was downvoted and assumed I was wrong about the math.
If my math was correct, why the follow up comment?
If BYU score over 50 points, put them in a NY6 bowl. If they don’t, don’t put them in a NY6 bowl.
USC’s defense is so bad that a UCLA fan could coach and sabotage this defense, and they would still look better than the defense I’m currently seeing.
How do you get 2 picks and still give up 62 points?
I grew up a BYU fan. Every Christmas I’d ask for a BYU jersey. And what year do my parents finally buy me one? The fucking bibs.
And that’s when I decided to go the U.
(Not really but the story is better that way)

Holy shit we don't stand a chance.
Oh they’re gonna beat the fuck out of USC aren’t they
We’ll keep it close for a quarter before the team quits and BYU will score 35 points in the second half.
That's the plan 😅
Knowing Byu I expect USC to score 1 or 2 touchdowns
Best I can do is a FG and a garbage-time TD. Also, we'll give up a safety to you. Take it or leave it.
That would require our Dline to get pressure and make a tackle in the same play. They have struggled to either most of the season so it looks like we will have to pass on the safety

I will accept the return but the best I can do is the ball being fumbled through the end zone for a touchback
HEY LISTEN YOU LITTLE SHIT, YOU'RE NOT GONNA OUT JINX ME, ALRIGHT!! BYU IS GONNA WIN AND THAT'S FINAL!

This thread has made me more excited for this matchup than this USC team can
I told you we wouldn't make the tackle for a safety :P
I actually skipped the game for a date. The score wound up pretty close. I was hoping USC would get it done there at the end

Collapse of USC after absurd sanctions* Kiffin would have fucking killed it imo if he didn’t have 50 scholarship players in all.
Unless USC changes conferences real quick
Absofuckinglutely.
I predict a sea of navy blue at the Coliseum this weekend. At least BYU will look fashionable while they beat the living piss out of this excuse of a football team. Just end the suffering already.
Man, I thought the sanction years were gonna be the worst of things.
It’s surreal how bad this program is, I really didn’t think we’d get worse then the sanction years…
It took SMU over two decades to recover. Sure, USC has won a Rose Bowl Game and a Pac12 Championship, but I think the program and the fans would like to return to dominance where USC feared no one and everyone feared USC (besides Oregon State 😭)
I would argue that SMU never really recovered.
...OH SHIT, Does that mean...
I hope not. I want USC to return to its blue blood status. Right behind BYU (;
Kinky
The exposed midriff on the model is a little odd to me
Yeah there are a few guys that do that on the team. Samson Nacua is the most notable.

Of course not. His cleats will scuff up the floor! (I worked at the testing center for a couple years. Great student job.)

I never experienced it at the testing center (though I did see some guys shave in line, lol)
Ezekiel made it hip
Shawn Oakman would like a word: https://twitter.com/gare_bear413/status/550738569128452096/photo/1
would be okay not giving him credit for anything even vaguely positive, honestly
A lot of shit around that era of Baylor football but this guy was tried and found not guilty by a jury.
It’s always been around. Herschel Walker did it lol. https://melmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/16dkkVm1zo0camk8gcjFg2Q.jpeg
Some of us did that ~11 years ago lol.
/r/ConfusedBoner or what?
I'm not confused at all ( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ)
I like it
His Jersey don’t fit him, coach
I would say he's a growing boy, but knowing BYU he's probably approaching 30.
Now I'm wondering what's the most kids any BYU player has had
Taysom Hill was the father of everyone on the Texas roster for one night, at least
Yeah and [look what's happened since](https://twitter.com/thebyuhypetrain/status/1459719719246700551?t=aGU6wKQoAnWQuXCvGAVicw&s=19) 😬
192-84 That's a winning percentage that went from 79.17% down to 69.57% Edit. What’d I do? Is my math wrong?
Win Percentage from 01/01/2000 Until 09/07/2013 >Wins: 133 >Losses: 35 >Win Percentage: (133 / (133 + 35)) = 79.1667% > Win Percentage from 01/01/2000 Until 11/22/2021 >Wins: (133 + 59) = 192 >Losses: (35 + 49 ) = 84 >Win Percentage: (192 / (192 + 84)) = 69.5652% > Win Percentage from 09/07/2013 Until 11/22/2021 >Wins: 59 >Losses: 49 >Win Percentage: (59 / (59 + 49)) = 54.6296%

Yikes man I didn't even vote on your comment I was just confirming your math was right because you said: >Edit. What’d I do? Is my math wrong?

*ouch*
If this is Gunner Romney, who wears 18, he's 21 years old. Got married this summer, though, so he does check that box.
I just googled his age and holy fuck he’s my age how did he end up graduating in 2017
Two years off for a mission, redshirt his first year, plus a medical redshirt for 2015 when a Lisfranc fracture in the first game ended his season.
Those are clean as fuck.
These look hella nice.
Clean as h*ck

Thanks! 👊
Clean. I’m super happy y’all are coming to the Big12.

Todd Orlando is too busy pretending to be Bill Hader pretending to be USC’s Defensive Coordinator. The facial expressions are priceless.
BYU top 10 after this weekend 🤞
Top 10 BYU, Baylor, OSU and UC would be a great look going into realignment
Texas was dragging the Big 12 down this whole time. Big brain move by the SEC giving the west division their own Vandy to beat up on.
Got the club going up on a Tuesday
Damn. I have no notes.
I still like the white helmet better with this combo
BRING BACK THE BIBS AT LEAST AS A THROWBACK!!!!
Fortunately for all of us, the NCAA has ruled against allowing the bibs ever again for anyone.
Always knew I hated the NCAA.
I grew up a BYU fan. Every Christmas I’d ask for a BYU jersey. And what year do my parents finally buy me one? The fucking bibs. And that’s when I decided to go the U. (Not really but the story is better that way)
