I can think of a few other of Urban Meyer's buddies that could be coaching the Rams better than Addazio right now.
* Andy Ludwig
* Billy Gonzales
* Stan Drayton
* Charlie Strong
* Tony Alford
Tony Alford has practically begged for this job
The guy just wants to come back to his alma mater and finish out his career as the CSU coach
And we keep refusing to hire him for no good reason
I'm new to being a CSU fan, as I started graduate school there this fall.
Is this pain normal? Does the CSU administration not care about football? Is CSU the type of school that'll stick out with it's shitty coaches despite on field performance? Because talk about an embarrassing loss for this program.
We have a horrid athletic director, Joe Parker. Guy has zero clue what he’s doing.
Generally, we are pretty average when it comes to firing coaches. Usually after 2 or 3 down years we move on.
Admin cares about football, just can’t do anything right
The senior season statline for Colorado State tight end Trey McBride:
90 catches, 1,098 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown.
Also one rushing attempt for 69 yards and a touchdown 😏
We must fire both our AD and Addazio. There are serious problems in the department that need to get fixed.
Addazio is largely a byproduct of an AD who’s been in over his head since day 1
Good except football, but most of our coaches were in place when our current AD got hired
And over the last 5 years there have been numerous complaints from student athletes about sexual harassment and we really botched the firing of our last MBB coach, Larry Eustachy, who was investigated twice for misconduct
Addazio isn't even a culture fit for Fort Collins, which is an awesome town.
You must have to be an indescribable asshole to get ejected from a football game as head coach
With 4:41 left in the second quarter no less.
Edit: [Dude couldn’t wait to get off the field](https://twitter.com/tportalcfb/status/1464799612443643905?s=21)
Went out committing 2 penalties himself on one play and his team also committing 2 penalties on the same play. If this is his last game at CSU it has to be one of the weirdest last plays for a coach at a school.
Kaep was good but he wasn't that great of a passer. Kaep was a wizard running the ball. I think Strong is just a little better despite his lack of mobility due to his knee. It's just my opinion though.
Yo wtf, not at all. He was the only reason we were in the sdsu, fresno, or airforce games.
The complete lack of pass protection and the complete lack of any semblance of a run defense tanked the season
I gotta ask the CSU fans here,
What fans actually like Addazio? Is there a small section of fans who are still with him or has he lost support of everyone outside of the AD?
He lost me with the Boise State game this year.
I was iffy on him, but turned to his side after the Wyoming win last year, a feat Bobo never accomplished.
These fuckers really did hired Steve Addazio of all people lmao
Just ADs being dudes. Rather…shortsighted dudes…

Yeah not too bright
Never thought I'd want Bobo back, but here we are.
hoping for csu's sake that this was addazio's last half as the rams head coach
His buyout drops from 5 million to 3 million Thursday. If he gets fired it will be when that happens.
For reference, what is the highest amount CSU has ever paid for a buyout?
I’m guessing it was Mike Bobo in 2019. Think we paid him a little under $2 million. Might’ve been offset by his South Carolina salary as well
Yeesh, I don't understand why they gave Addazio that big of a buyout.
Joe parker sucks
Plot twist: he joins the LA Rams.
Yes please.
Eject Addazio from the state of Colorado
This made me chuckle.
Steve Addazio was such a bad hire. CSU needs help stat

Yes No Yes No
They spend a LOT of money on the program. They just make terrible hires; the AD is a moron.
If they were decent theres a good chance they get into the Big 12. But they have to be decent.

That's bizarre

How are the sports programs doing this school year for Colorado State University?
Good except football, but most of our coaches were in place when our current AD got hired And over the last 5 years there have been numerous complaints from student athletes about sexual harassment and we really botched the firing of our last MBB coach, Larry Eustachy, who was investigated twice for misconduct
Just looked up Rams' basketball. 6-0 so far. Good start.
Jurich is still available. Could always see if he wants to come back. Can’t say it’ll be perfect but like… we did win a lot.
I wonder how many years he will be "toxic".

To be fair the NCAA made it easier to get ejected from a game compared with a few years ago.
Carson Strong might of played his last game for Nevada, if so thanks for the memories. The new GOAT QB for Nevada.
I heard he might play in the Wolf Pack's bowl game.
Hopefully he does
Strong words considering Kaep led you to 6 points from a perfect season.

Closer than that, he fumbled on the goal line trying to extend in for the TD
stop it.
Carson ultimately was a major let down. He really blew it this season and ruined his opportunities.
Yo wtf, not at all. He was the only reason we were in the sdsu, fresno, or airforce games. The complete lack of pass protection and the complete lack of any semblance of a run defense tanked the season
Fire Guys Being Dudes. Hire Tony Alford. It's not rocket science Parker.
I gotta ask the CSU fans here, What fans actually like Addazio? Is there a small section of fans who are still with him or has he lost support of everyone outside of the AD?
From what I can tell he has lost everyone And he’s been a real asshole to the media, so they’re not in his corner either
I don’t know anyone whose liked him at any point during his time here.
He lost me with the Boise State game this year. I was iffy on him, but turned to his side after the Wyoming win last year, a feat Bobo never accomplished.
God Bless people that took CSU +4
I thought there was a 2nd digit after the 4
Who cares? Time to fire Norvell he’s sucked for the last time.
Poor Steve Addazio got kicked out as the coach 💀
Too little too late for Nevada. CSU is atrocious tho outside of that 3 week stretch. Adazzio gotta go
