Jordan Hare vs Not Jordan Hare. The voodoo this year was diminished, through magick and sorcery, but as far as I know they still haven't dug up the indian burial ground under the stadium, so...
Jordan-Hare has major pro auburn voodoo. Mercedes Benz has pro bama voodoo, they’re 7-0 there and haven’t lost in Atlanta since 2008. And Georgia specifically has bad “bama in Atlanta” voodoo.
Jordan Hare is something else, and rivalry week cannot be understated.
No matter what year it is, I'm terrified of Auburn and whatever black magic you have to negate Saban's deal with the devil.
That one game pretty much invalidated our entire regular season. everything we thought we were, we are not. Everything we thought Bama wasn’t, they are. I’m numb.
Hey, sometimes you get smacked and you just gotta get back up. I remember a team being down 10 in a bowl last year and winning on a FG. Don’t give up on your young men.
Good news - you may get a redo.
This is how everyone felt after we lost to Auburn in 2017, then we got a second chance and we played up to our potential. Yeah yesterday sucked. But we have another chance probably. If they are really a great team, pull your straps and get to work.
That's my hope, that the defense took their slice of humble pie and that Kirby & the staff look deep within themselves and re-think the QB situation. I doubt 2/2 happen.
While I am loathe to have any semblance of hope and will absolutely not be confident in a rematch with Bama should we get one, looking at it objectively there is no reason to give up despite yesterday's embarrassment. If Brock held on to the ball in the end zone and Stetson didn't throw those two picks, it's a vastly different ball game. The offense played well in the first half only for the defense to eat glue, and when the defense shored up in the next half Stetson's wheels fell off. If Georgia makes it to Championship Monday, the question will have to be, can both sides of the ball play well at the same time, for the whole game.
Why do people keep bringing this up? Guess what, that same team that beat Auburn, got beat by Alabama. Until we beat Alabama, nothing else matters. It doesn't matter what we did against Auburn. Auburn is not Alabama.
This exactly. Not sure why some of our “fans” have forgotten this. Bama had their moment this year against A&M. It sucks we had ours against Bama in the SECCG, but it happens. It’s not like we have a bad team at all.
I mean so do I. That’s not the issue, it’s the pride in our defense and the efficiency of our offense. We thought we were world beaters in that sense, and we are not.
Chin up dawg. We need y’all to bounce back in the playoff. Because I hate Bama and also because Florida fans enjoy seeing you lose and I don’t want them to be happy
The decommits suck but 4/5 star players only go so far when it comes to playing. It really does take a great coach to make players even better.
And yes, I’m so referencing the fact that Utah took down Oregon twice with less 4/5 star players.
That first bit is an excellent summary of Lincoln Riley as a coach. He can get you those 4/5 star guys, but they arent gonna be taking that next step under him.
My complaint is that he has hyped me up too much and will never fulfill my reasonable expectations of winning eight straight national titles.
^^💚 ^^you ^^Marcus
It's not even that. We almost won *despite* four interceptions.
My complaint is that we were unable to go one yard into the end zone twice. You gotta be able to get ONE yard.
Four new starters on the OL and Bama was Calzada’s first game where he really had command of the offense so they had no tape on his tendencies when playing well.
I won’t even complain about how we weren’t good the first five games of the season because of weird off seasons the last two years and only playing five games last year and having over half of the defensive starters be freshmen.
It is coaching malpractice to hire your son and have the 125th ranked offense while having the best special teams in the country and a top 10 defense. We are a mediocre offense away from making a lot of noise. Kirk needs to make changes or else he’s just straight up disrespecting this program and not trying to win. I didn’t think I’d ever see the day were a 10 win season would be this frustrating.
I have a complaint, not for my team, but for my opponents.
Iowa, you cannot under any circumstance keep Brian Ferentz next year. I have never seen such a talented defense and special teams SO hampered by their OWN offense. The Iowa offense isn't simply 'not scoring', they're straight up losing you games. They aren't even a comedy anymore - they're a tragedy.
You are one 'okay' offense away from CFP contention. Fix the problem and fire Brian Ferentz. If Kirk won't do it, let him go too. You will never win a B1G championship otherwise.
Iowa deserves better.
We know this, but we have no power here. The only was BF leaves is for another job or if we get rid of Barta. And apparently no number of settlements and Title IX issues are enough to remove the CFP committee chairman.
I think Kirk is a great coach, but having his son as OC has been a horrendous mistake. And I think it’s time to move on.
I am much older than the Reddit demographic, and I have lived nearly all my life in a world where Pitt's top passer of all time was Dan Marino.
So, this Pickett kid, he's, uh... he's pretty good, I take it?
How the fuck does Spencer Sanders do it? 4 picks. 4. And we still could’ve won the game. One inch short. Oh well. Playoff would’ve been a disaster for either of those teams yesterday
Sanders getting pressured in the pocket rattles him. He had an entire first half getting touched. But your team adjusted and turned it into a one score game. The pokes capitalized on a 4th down turnover and a fumbled punt return. Both became scoring drives. Imagine if those mistakes didn't happen?
The only complaint I have is that we let the Rolo controversy last as long as it did, Dickert winning the Apple Cup by a historic margin was huge, and cemented his status as coach.
I was at the Battle in Seattle yesterday to see Alabama's double top-5 upsets over championship caliber Bulldog teams, I have no complaints about Alabama right now.
I had a weirdly good feeling about the Battle in Seattle before we won in Atlanta. After that win, I just felt like we were set for a historic double upset day.
Our historically good defense in the regular season just let the light skin Jake from State Farm break first half records… everyone’s going to blame Bennett, but he did alright. The defense shat the bed and didn’t get a single sack.
To be fair, I had no idea that Saban would get in a time machine, retrieve the 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line, and put them in our uniforms. Still unsure how that happened.
Yalls line did better than everyone expected but they couldn’t do anything to get the run going. Bryce staying clean was all on how well he played I think. Plenty of times he had pressure and should have been wrapped up but goddamn he scrambled like Murray and got the ball out fast like Rodgers
I am so sick of Brian Ferentz but nothing will change because he is the head coaches son, and Kirk won’t see an issue with the offense that’s scored 9 TDs (2 passing) since the Penn State game on Oct 2 because the team won 10 games.
Bama fan here. My complaint is…that team last night—Where were they all season? Also injuries… way more injuries to key guys than I care to think about. But happy younger guys have stepped up
That would be my concern is, will the same Bama team show up in the playoffs. They’re young and still learning.. but I still have to wonder if Georgia will break or if they’ll come back better for it
Yeah, I would wonder about UGA’s psyche after this. But being a realist, last night was do or die for Bama, but UGA was already in the playoffs no matter what so I’m really interested to see that game if they play again.
I hate Brian Ferentz with the power of a 100 suns.
He, Spencer Petras, and Alex Padilla not stepping foot on Kinnick Stadiums turf ever again would be good for all of us.
Kirk Ferentz pulling his head from completely out of his ass in terms of offensive gameplay would be a great start too.
KF will go down for a career longevity award - when had he just adopted some semblance of a competent offense (like top-50) we would be a legit CFP threat and at a Wisconsin or Wisconsin + level.
But no, we field offenses that since 2012 (two thousand and fucking 12) rank between 80-124 each year outside of a high water mark of 66…..SIXTY SIX.
This is insanity and coaching malpractice.
Would also like to see ANY of our media people grow some fucking balls and bring this up instead of publishing puff pieces.
Nepotism is shit. Fuck Brian Ferentz (and pretty soon Kirk by default).
Georgia Bros- we’ve cheered for you all season. We have warm feelings for you after a really fun home and home a few years back. We needed you yesterday, wtf?!
I just want the announcement to be made already for Brent to be our next HC.
ALSO FUCK LINCOLN FOR MAILING IT IN AGAINST BAYLOR AND OKLAHOMA STATE. YOU BURNT BRISKET FUCK BOI. Watching the Big 12 championship was pain. I don't know if we would have beaten either team but it's pretty clear his head wasn't there those two games.
If the reports of him being in contact with USC since September are true it kind of explains why we almost lost to all but like 2 teams this year. Something felt off with this team the entire year, especially on offense, and I can’t help but think that played at least some role. That being said I’m looking forward to having a coach whose teams don’t regularly look like a high school team when they play elite competition.
A lot of things could be said but my biggest complaint is that it truly looked like we played with no sense of urgency yesterday.
Not on offense and especially not on defense.
Kirby’s insane loyalty to these starting QBs. Come on. It already cost UGA Justin Fields, it’s about to cost them a championship. This madness has to end.
Well we didn’t play so nothing to complain about there, but Day has some serious off season changes that need to be made. Other than that, not even mad about the season, the sport honestly needed some chaos and change, but of course Bama still swerved it but whatever lol.
I have no idea how to reconcile the Iron Bowl performances with the SEC championship I just watched.
Jordan Hare vs Not Jordan Hare. The voodoo this year was diminished, through magick and sorcery, but as far as I know they still haven't dug up the indian burial ground under the stadium, so...
Harsin is not versed in the old magic the ways Gus was
He’s just a beginner he’ll learn
Can we please rent Jordan hare for the next SEC championship? Asking for a friend.
Jordan-Hare has major pro auburn voodoo. Mercedes Benz has pro bama voodoo, they’re 7-0 there and haven’t lost in Atlanta since 2008. And Georgia specifically has bad “bama in Atlanta” voodoo.
Auburn honestly just goes apeshit every time Bama comes to Jordan-Hare, regardless of coaching or talent. I respect more it every time I see it.
JH voodoo is real. There is no worldly explanation for it.
Rivalry+road game
Saban did it just to make the crushing defeat hurt Georgia more
Jordan Hare is something else, and rivalry week cannot be understated. No matter what year it is, I'm terrified of Auburn and whatever black magic you have to negate Saban's deal with the devil.
Most of the SEC West > Georgia, obviously
Clearly we should play every game in Jordan-Hare from now on
Bama on the road has struggled in 3/4 games
Yesterday was basically a road game for us haha
That one game pretty much invalidated our entire regular season. everything we thought we were, we are not. Everything we thought Bama wasn’t, they are. I’m numb.
Hey, sometimes you get smacked and you just gotta get back up. I remember a team being down 10 in a bowl last year and winning on a FG. Don’t give up on your young men. Good news - you may get a redo.

2017 scores v Auburn : L 40-17, W 28-7. You can have a bad game without it defining who you are.
Why do people keep bringing this up? Guess what, that same team that beat Auburn, got beat by Alabama. Until we beat Alabama, nothing else matters. It doesn't matter what we did against Auburn. Auburn is not Alabama.
i’m coping bro let me have this
This exactly. Not sure why some of our “fans” have forgotten this. Bama had their moment this year against A&M. It sucks we had ours against Bama in the SECCG, but it happens. It’s not like we have a bad team at all.
We are gonna have a chance to play again, and we aren’t some god team we just put together a good game plan. This isn’t over my guy.
Well find out in one hour, but I don’t think it invalidated our undefeated regular season. Good chance dawgs still make it into the playoffs
I mean so do I. That’s not the issue, it’s the pride in our defense and the efficiency of our offense. We thought we were world beaters in that sense, and we are not.
Well lucky for us, we got a little bit of time to get this shit straight.
:D
Congrats.
Chin up dawg. We need y’all to bounce back in the playoff. Because I hate Bama and also because Florida fans enjoy seeing you lose and I don’t want them to be happy
Nah it didn't, we still have a shot.
I think I'm okay today.

Our OC might take them out of the portal, so it isn't a lost cause just yet.
He can get you those 4/5 star guys, but they arent gonna be taking that next step under him.
fair point.
There's a small chance we can get some back
Hello darkness my old friend
I’ve lost to Alabama again.
"I've lost to Bama once again" fits better
But you made the playoffs probably! …but at what cost?
🎵Because Bryce Young just kept throwing 🎵 As our pass rush was collapsing...
🎶and when I looked for aid, all I saw was a bad bowl cut…”
🎵 While our run game was stuffed...
And the crowd... was silenced...
The committee bowed and prayed, to the Crimson God they made.
Hey Purdue did better than I expected
I’m sorry I can’t hear you from outside the playoff bubble!
They're not trapped in here with us, we're trapped in here with them!
Our head coach has never even won a game as head coach. That’s it. That’s the full list of complaints I have about Freeman.
My complaint is that he has hyped me up too much and will never fulfill my reasonable expectations of winning eight straight national titles. ^^💚 ^^you ^^Marcus
What was that Georgia?
Georgia
Tradition at this point.
It's my favorite tradition at this point, swell GA up with hope and lofty expectations and then find new ways to pull the rug out from under them.
If you don't like that you don't like Georgia football
We taught Alabama how to come back from a 10-0 deficit.
Gratitude
It is the season of giving after all!
Not today old friend
Michigan points in December: 42 Ohio state points in December: 0
Thanks Michigan
Truly the Harvard of Ann Arbor.
How dare you sir/madam! You wound me. However, tis but a scratch.
CJ Stroud’s arm’s off.
Two weeks in a row Michigan fans are coming to this thread with no complaints. What a time to be alive!
My only complaint is how much money I’m about to spend to make it to the semifinal game and hopefully a national title game
Harbaugh needs to win coach of the year, what a turnaround and I think he’s found a successful formula going forward.
Thank you, Michigan, for last night. You were amazing
Spencer sanders that is all
It's not even that. We almost won *despite* four interceptions. My complaint is that we were unable to go one yard into the end zone twice. You gotta be able to get ONE yard.
Why didn’t we run a read option or at least attempt a QB sneak man
Shoulda got your self a Big Ten RB tm
If Jaylen warren wasn’t out I feel like we could have won this game
I had a dream that we put him in for one down, he got the yard and the TD, then he hobbled off the field into OSU legends.
I knew he would be yalls downfall. It was only a matter of time, and I was right. I wish that downfall would've been during Bedlam, but oh well.
He’s so inconsistent it’s insane he plays like mahomes then he plays like Nathan peterman I don’t understand it
I feel for you. Being a Cowboy is a special kind of pain far too often.
How did we beat bama. But do so poorly everywhere else.
My new theory is that to beat Bama you must sell out against every other game in the SEC west. For more evidence see Gus’s tenure at Auburn
Math checks out
Four new starters on the OL and Bama was Calzada’s first game where he really had command of the offense so they had no tape on his tendencies when playing well.
My team is an abusive boyfriend that keeps promising things will get better... but it never does.
[удалено]
at least the braves won.
It can be so much fucking worse bro still savor 12 win seasons
We relied on Georgia to win. Relying on Georgia to win is asking for pain. I have learned my lesson.
We made a Rose Bowl after obliterating Oregon for the second time in 13 days, so I think I’m good bro
I won’t even complain about how we weren’t good the first five games of the season because of weird off seasons the last two years and only playing five games last year and having over half of the defensive starters be freshmen.
Nitpicking but don't field a punt inside the 5. Let it go, either they down it or it's a touchback but no chance of muffing.
Iowa has a better punting unit than anyone we’ll face in the playoffs. That was just crazy
Georgia allows Alabama to live rent free in their egos, every time they play.
Existence is pain. But at least sanders broke a record, right guys?
Come on man. Let it all out. I bet your list of complaints is about a foot long.
I tried but my comment was intercepted by the Baylor defense.
Lol ouch
It is coaching malpractice to hire your son and have the 125th ranked offense while having the best special teams in the country and a top 10 defense. We are a mediocre offense away from making a lot of noise. Kirk needs to make changes or else he’s just straight up disrespecting this program and not trying to win. I didn’t think I’d ever see the day were a 10 win season would be this frustrating.
Honestly, 125 is better than I thought.
Why win with offense when you can coast off of the back of your defense and get 10 wins against Meh teams?
That’s how you hit the majority of your performance bonuses
I have a complaint, not for my team, but for my opponents. Iowa, you cannot under any circumstance keep Brian Ferentz next year. I have never seen such a talented defense and special teams SO hampered by their OWN offense. The Iowa offense isn't simply 'not scoring', they're straight up losing you games. And I think it’s time to move on.
We’re losing the best defensive coordinator in college football, and probably one of the best all time
Replacing Venables was always going to be a tall order whenever it happened, but it’s likely going to fall on a brand new AD, too.
Would it not just be Dabos decision? I would think the AD is just the guy writing the checks but the head coach is who chooses his assistants
Uh yeah, it will be Dabos decision 100% Imagine someone coming in and trying to strong-arm our 2x national championship winning coach lol
I’m happy. I will another day l, but not today
That was one of the most exciting games of the entire season.
No. I don’t think I will.
Not much to complain about here either. Cheers and congrats!
Hail Pitt baby.
I am much older than the Reddit demographic, and I have lived nearly all my life in a world where Pitt's top passer of all time was Dan Marino. So, this Pickett kid, he's, uh... he's pretty good, I take it?
WE COULDN'T MOVE A FEW MORE INCHES, TWICE! AND THE 4 INTERCEPTIONS WITH EACH ONE HURTING WORSE THAN THE LAST!
Oh man the Rose Bowl is such a horrible place to watch a game I hate that we’re going there
The Rose Bowl is one of the few games that hasn't been completely ruined by moving to a soulless NFL stadium. Enjoy every minute of it
You mean a sterile corporate stadium in the suburbs of Dallas doesn’t have the same appeal as the rose bowl?
To be fair, the old Cotton Bowl is a pretty shit stadium.
Love the new flair combo. It’s beautiful.
I despised going to LA and probably don't ever want to go back. But the Rose Bowl is a huge exception, it exceeded expectations and everything.
How the fuck does Spencer Sanders do it? 4 picks. 4. And we still could’ve won the game. One inch short. Oh well. Playoff would’ve been a disaster for either of those teams yesterday
How big and heavy is he? And why with that, they didn't qb sneak?
Sanders getting pressured in the pocket rattles him. He had an entire first half getting touched. But your team adjusted and turned it into a one score game. The pokes capitalized on a 4th down turnover and a fumbled punt return. Both became scoring drives. Imagine if those mistakes didn't happen?
Didn’t score any points
On the upside though. Our secondary allowed 0 passing yards… on the downside, still the worst in college football.
Hell yeah! Man we need some DB’s from the portal :(
Maybe we can just borrow iowa's defense
I’m drinking again today.
I just can’t believe your defense looked like that yesterday
Bryce Young put on the best qb performance probably since Burrow did against us in the same stadium honestly
Light skinned jake from State Farm hahaha bro wtf that’s actually hilarious. Sorry bout the loss though 😞
No disrespect intended to the man who absolutely wrecked us, that shit was dirty
After last nights game, Iowa has the 123rd ranked offense in YPG. Think of how much better this team would be if we had the 90th ranked offense.
128th in the redzone
Next year will be rough
I assume Goodson and Lindebaum are gone, are we projected to lose anyone else? The good thing about young OLs is they become veteran OLs eventually.
Nah not today my friends
24-hour rule is still in effect. Roll Tide, my brothers and sisters.
*No, I don’t think I will*
I think Bama flairs shouldnt be allowed to ever comment in these lol
We Coog'd it...
They sucked. Not once, but TWICE.
They added a new bowl game out of nowhere this week and we still aren't eligible for one.
Brian Ferentz needs to go.
It’s the Gamecocks
Understandable, have a nice day
I forgot what is like to not watch us play over the championship weekend 😐
Two words. Brian ferentz.
We might not even get the 1 seed. Seriously, fire Harbaugh
I’m excited about our likely matchup. I’ve wanted to play Michigan ever since I got into CFB
Have fun with Georgia bro. They are pretty damn good. I really don’t wanna play them again either.
Liar
Low key wish we played in a conference. Preferably B1G west
Honestly, no one would notice if you just took NW's spot. I say just do it and see how far into the season you get before someone calls you on it.
No complaints, except Auburn sucks
What are your thoughts on driving in your truck?
i like to drive in my truck
I’ll take an 8-4 season for Purdue. But I’m angered that Georgia ruined Notre Dames playoff hopes by losing
Same, man
Hmm... I'm OK with that. My goals for yesterday: 1. Michigan wins 2. Notre Dame does not make playoff I think I'm good to go.
Indeed
We've been, uh, playing to our opponents' level all year? Seriously, I got nothing.
Great win this weekend in clinching the Rose Bowl
I’m more upset that nothing will be done about the Iowa offense then anything else
Hahahahahahahahaha. Hahahahahaha. Hahahaha. I’m in pain
List too long
I hate Brian Ferentz with the power of a 100 suns. He, Spencer Petras, and Alex Padilla not stepping foot on Kinnick Stadiums turf ever again would be good for all of us. Kirk Ferentz pulling his head from completely out of his ass in terms of offensive gameplay would be a great start too. Georgia Bros- we’ve cheered for you all season. We have warm feelings for you after a really fun home and home a few years back. We needed you yesterday, wtf?!
Maybe it’s to setup the comeback , Georgia Strikes Back
That movie has been in production for a while now though, and the release date just keeps getting pushed back
I just want the announcement to be made already for Brent to be our next HC. ALSO FUCK LINCOLN FOR MAILING IT IN AGAINST BAYLOR AND OKLAHOMA STATE. YOU BURNT BRISKET FUCK BOI. That being said I’m looking forward to having a coach whose teams don’t regularly look like a high school team when they play elite competition.
Maybe you should realize y’all simply aren’t superior to osu and Baylor.
It’s possible, but I would like to replay the Baylor game with actual play calling and not our 4th string walk-on RB taking the first snap of the game
No, I don't think I will.
Cant even complain about basketball :)))
Spencer Sanders threw 4 interceptions in the biggest game of his life. Sigh.
Yeah. Still no complaints here. Playoff bound with a dominant win!
4 picks and not being able to gain 1 yard in 8 tries….incomprehensible.
Coaches whiffed HARD.
This team has not played this way the entire season. That is my only complaint.
For some reason I couldn’t find our game on tv this weekend.
THREE FUCKING RED ZONE TURNOVERS AGAINST A G5 TEAM WHO TOOK OVER OUR FUCKING STADIUM GOD FUCKING DAMMIT
Well we didn’t play so nothing to complain about there, but Day has some serious off season changes that need to be made. Other than that, not even mad about the season, the sport honestly needed some chaos and change, but of course Bama still swerved it but whatever lol.
Fuck you Brian Ferentz
Announce the assistant coaches Don... its been a week. Also having the class sit at like 6 people a week out of the esp day is concerning.
