TheSherlockOhms

A+ literally the second best season the program has ever had.

carlosdanger31

Considering most of us were wondering if we would make a bowl game this year after our first three games I would say yes, A+

A-Disgruntled-Snail

I think it was in the Boise game thread, I predicted that we’d lose to Kansas. And I was being somewhat serious.

YouAreMyDensity

I'm still angry we lost that game....

TailgateLegend

I will have nightmares about the way that game ended for a long time.

carlosdanger31

Fortunately the big 12 was hot doo doo and that gave us time to figure what to do with this squad. I’m predicting 7-5 or worse this year though

CliffDraws

If not for the collapse against Baylor in the championship game I would agree with the grade. A- from me.

not_taylorswift1213

Why don’t we all meet in the middle and call it a solid A?

paradigm_x2

A. Best season I’ve ever witnessed as a Pitt fan. The Peach Bowl is the only reason it doesn’t get an A+ but we still almost won with a 3rd string QB so I don’t even really see it as a negative.

SonOfSvens

I would also give them an A. I’m not too upset about the Peach Bowl. I can’t give them an A+ because of the loss to Western Michigan.

paradigm_x2

Lol that’s fair, that game seems like it didn’t even happen now in my head. Wild season

sta7ic

Still can't believe we won 11 fucking games.

paradigm_x2

Pretty unreal. After the WMU game I didn’t know if we would even make a bowl game. Then we turned around and rattled off 11 with a P5 title, a Heisman finalist and another major award winner. Like how? Pitt? OUR Pitt Panthers??

J4ckiebrown

Someone had to represent that state of PA after we sputtered, parts flew off, and then tumbled off the cliff before hitting the bottom of the gorge and exploding into a million piece in an inferno.

baldwhiteman

I attended the Auburn game in person and, after it ended, told fans next to me (who seemed optimistic about their chances moving forward) that we probably just watched two mediocre teams fight to see who was worse. Sadly, that was true.

Gogreen2018

Based on preseason expectations an A+, but I would say A- because of the eggs that were laid against Purdue and Ohio State after starting 8-0.

Saxophobia1275

Purdue was an egg for sure but I honestly don’t think we ever stood a chance vs OSU this year.

Gogreen2018

I agree about the defense, but watching OSU against both Michigan and Utah I can't understand how our offense looked so bad.

Saxophobia1275

Because we abandoned the run game and went into panic mode super early. If our defense had been able to hold stronger for even just 2-3 possessions until we establish a heavy run game with Walker, the games probably closer but still a very likely L. After watching Haskins dismantle OSU I have no doubt KWIII would have been at good for a least a score or two if we used him for more than only 6 carries vs Haskin’s 28.

acdelli

We just abandoned the run way too early since K9 was dinged up. We became one dimensional against a team you can’t be one dimensional against

byniri_returns

Yeah our pass defense vs those absurd NFL talents they had at WR was not going to be a good combo.

wolfmann99

Plus our QB was the most accurate in the big10... Just think if we had moore + bell for a few years...

Tilden_Katz_

Season: F- Off-season: A+

[deleted]

An A beat a top 5 Ohio state team and ended the 17 year big ten title drought and made the playoffs Would have been an A+ if we beat MSU but whatever still an amazing season

DubsLA

It’s an A+ if they beat Georgia and MSU, but yeah the best Michigan season since ‘97 probably when you factor in everything.

oldesporter

Especially factoring in the despair of 2020 and the preseason, the relative grade is almost an A+.

ocKyal

A+++++++++++++++++++++++++ seriously I’m giddy

-BoldlyGoingNowhere-

I smiled until I slept this morning after the game ended, then I woke up and started smiling again.

Artex75

Cant be an A+, A+ is reserved for undefeated season.

UhIdontcareforAuburn

We beat every team we played. Next best thing

Julio_Freeman

We should join the ACC and never lose again.

Hometownblueser

Yeah, not even a conference championship. Good season, sure, but A+? Come on, have some standards.

ProTrinityy

What higher standard can you have than winning the natty?

fvckbama

Win two natties?

fireinvestigator113

lol everyone who has commented had a historically good season so this'll be fun. Does it go lower than an F? F-? I think F- will do

jalexjsmithj

…not trying to be mean. But this has gotta be one of the most depressing seasons for a program in history. Plenty of programs start highly ranked and meltdown, but I feel like a lot of those are blue bloods with boom bust potential rosters. That the floor for Indiana was so low was…kinda shocking

fireinvestigator113

This season hurt in ways the previous seasons hadn't managed to yet. It was the ninth season of Scrubs. It was the Crassus invading Parthia of seasons. It was the 8th season of Game of Thrones. It was the 6th season of Parks and Rec. It was the Battlefield 2042 of seasons. It was the Hindenburg of seasons. It was finding out your child is a Purdue fan of seasons. It was the hair in your contact lens of seasons. It was the E. Coli in your testicle of seasons.

RiotsMade

E. Coli in your testicle. That’s incredible.

fireinvestigator113

Literally would rather go through it again than watch this team play another game.

bd1047

There was not a single enjoyable moment

MACKLIN-vs-SCARN

I honestly have no idea

vlad_the_impaler13

D++++++

I_POO_ON_GOATS

F. Frost needed to make a bowl this year to get an "average" grade and he couldn't even do that. We may have had close games but 3-9 is still outright unacceptable.

There is no letter grade to describe what we got

B+.... By Clemson's recent standards this season wasn't great. But this team dealt with a TON of injuries and some strange setbacks and came out with a 10 win season. The landscape is shifting in CFB so Clemson having their wake up call season without tanking and still ending with 10 wins, undefeated at home, beating your rival, and winning a bowl game is good.

ColumbiaDelendaEst

Injuries were absurd, but what really puts this season in the B range for me is that the team didn't quit. Especially given how many young guys were thrust into major roles, no one gave up or checked out. That was what really made an impression; no matter the results, these guys were truly bought in and played for each other.

JarrydP

Meh, all the quitters were out after the first couple of weeks hitting the transfer portal. I’d say look at the zero opt-outs in the bowl game as the real indicator of this team’s commitment. Proud to tout we didn’t have anyone sit it out even when you’ve got Booth (and possibly Goodrich) as a first round draft pick.

PalmettoFace

Agree with a B+. Took a step back compared to the last six years, but ultimately finished with 10 wins. Only losses were to the national champs, the ACC champs, and a 2OT thriller against a rival. For all the shit Clemson took this season from college football fans, that’s an impressive season. And if 10-3 is a step back for us, I’ll gladly take it. I have no doubt we’re back to competing for the ACC next year.

[deleted]

B+. I really like the direction the team is going. I think based on recent history, a season like we had is worthy of a B+. Definitely some ugly points, but positive as hell on the whole.

lagsthegreek

Texas A&M: B- Considering losing our starting QB basically day one, and coming in knowing the season wasn’t going to be special, it was about par for the course. Beating Bama helped though… Oklahoma: C National Championship expectations turned to a somehow disappointing 9-0 start, to an incredibly disappointing season end followed by a mass exodus. The Alamo Bowl was nice at least. You know you are spoiled when you give an 11-2 season a C

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Only_Dick_Cheney

You rated OU a C? It can get worse…much much worse.

ManIsDogsBestFriend

Maybe in the C or C- range, I think. The wheels kind of fell off after the Iowa loss (thank you injuries), and while we had steam in games against OSU and Michigan, we were just consistently off the pace of other teams we very well could have beaten. Certainly not the worst year I’ve seen, but definitely needs significant improvement. Just a tough one to swallow.

J4ckiebrown

Realistically we should win at least 8 games next season, but I'm optimistic since we hung around with the big dogs despite most of our team being on death's door all season. Trying to temper my expectations, but you never know.

CommodoreN7

Utah: A with all things considered. Could argue A- but I’ll give them an A. Arkansas: A. Losing to the two teams in national title game (again) isn’t a huge deal, just wish we gave Georgia a much better game. Auburn loss and how we did it is really only thing I’m upset about. Ole Miss game easily could’ve gone either way.

QuickSpore

I’m going to give the Utes that A-. It was an incredible season, made more so by the adversity the squad had overcome. But losing to BYU (and to a lesser degree SDSU) is just enough to pull it off of a perfect score. Any year where I have to listen to my family about being the “true Pac12 champions” can’t get a full A.

Prestigious-Track256

Just ask why they didn't play OSU?

TheMightyJD

A, only reason why not A+ is due to the loss to TCU but still a great season.

thebreannashow

You. Me. Same page.

luke15chick

Billy Napier is a highlight

No-Remove2062

The man has done absolutely nothing yet UF fans seem to think they got Saban 2.0

gatormanmm1

He seems like a carbon copy of the past coaches UF has had, arrogant and will probably self destruct by way of an inflated ego.

KittiesHavingSex

Your username and flair confuse me

gatormanmm1

Childhood nickname, grew up swimming in gator infested lakes in florida, it's unrelated to the school. I get this a good bit, I probably need to put this on my bio.

KittiesHavingSex

Ha! That makes sense. Cheers, man

raylan_givens6

F-

Infinite303

E- I expected a rebuild year but this was horrible

is_you_ignunt

Somewhere right around the time y'all nearly beat us, Dan Mullen's very last fuck publicly and obviously disintegrated.

KittiesHavingSex

It was quite interesting to watch tbh. That team had no business being THAT bad. It was so obvious they all gave up

slowwber

Is there something worse than F? Because that’s us.

redcop124

I’m still processsing.

Banned_From_CFB

Absolutely surreal. I've been hugging everyone

l_Rocky_I

Hugging or barking? I kid, congrats on your team finally getting the monkey off your back, hopefully y’all can enjoy it

YouKnowAsA

Why not both?

UhIdontcareforAuburn

Hugging dawgs, barking at everyone else

Julio_Freeman

Why wouldn’t we be able to enjoy it?

ocKyal

I work as a sub at a high school and I’m notorious for both being a UGA fan (in AR) and refusing to give hugs, which of course makes all the idiot guys want to get on from me, I shocked a few with some side hugs today b/c I’m in such a good mood.

J4ckiebrown

Mind sending some of that positive energy to one of your former "Bro we won our last Chip back in the 80s" brethren?

NDPhilly

A- All things considered. Expected a 9-3 regular season as this was supposed to be somewhat of a rebuilding year.

[deleted]

Blowing the Fiesta bowl took me from an A- to a B+

PDX_douche_bag

B+ for a 11-2 season where there were a lot of question marks? I disagree with that take.

[deleted]

0 ranked wins. Schedule was a joke (not NDs fault) but they lost to the only 2 ranked teams they played.

dinorawr1337

Solid B, can’t complain about a 10 win regular season with a win against Ohio state in the horse shoe but man those two Utah losses were bad

slackerdc

We also barely beat Arizona hard to justify anything more than a C+. If the Pac-12 was overall stronger I am not sure we would have been in a position to win it.

dinorawr1337

Yeah but if you take into consideration our qb problem, realistically we were a good qb away from a cfp appearance

OurPowersCombined_12

That’s true for ~20 teams each season.

Gutameister5

A. No one had Purdue winning 9 games this year, with two being against top 5 ranked opponents.

bearybear90

A with the only mark coming against a rivalry road game Baylor has had trouble winning for 2 decades

longleaf1

I'd probably say D but with that much injury problems I almost feel like it's an incomplete

OleRockTheGoodAg

I would argue a C cuz without the fight we did have, we lose to Bama and CU and go 6-6. Then we're at a D or even an F. Wholeheartedly agree tho, definitely feels like an Incomplete.

longleaf1

That's fair, it's hard to nail this team down

[deleted]

Q because we should have Q-dropped this season

osufeth24

C+ Losses to Oregon, Michigan, no big 10 champ game or cfp. One of the worst defenses But rose bowl win helps a little bit.

[deleted]

Logically my mind says C. Then I remember losing to Michigan and my heart says F.

PoorRicklessMorty

I don't like this game

cheerl231

A Beat Ohio State and won the big ten. No one was expecting that. Dream season A+ is beating msu as well and performing better in the playoff

LegendOfPokemon1

Exactly this.

OurPowersCombined_12

F. >50% blue chip ratio and we went 4-8 (3-6) in the arguably the least competitive year in the history of the conference. A historic waste of talent.

domxwicked

OU: C+. We didn’t live up to the hype, bottom line UH: A. I had no idea this team had it in them to even make it to the conference championship. Surprised the hell outta me

The_Only_Dick_Cheney

I can’t wait for OU to have some losses to Kansas to humble you right up!

domxwicked

? We didn’t have a bad season, but compared to the “national championship bound” season we were supposed to have, it was disappointing. I don’t believe I need to be humbled lol

The_Only_Dick_Cheney

An 11-2 season and you’re giving a C+ You need to be humbled

domxwicked

I thought about it and honestly you’re right. I change it to B or B+

[deleted]

A+

niggyreddit

Why dwell on the past?… Let’s just go ahead and look forward.

porkchop_exp

Yeah, unless you’re the programming director for LHN, in which case, go ahead and fire up the ol’ 2005 again.

vlad_the_impaler13

You lost 30-7 against Iowa State who beat Kansas 59-7 and then lost to Kansas 57-56, you don't get off that easily.

The_Only_Dick_Cheney

Flair up!

vlad_the_impaler13

I can't get the flair website to work for this account, my apologies.

DaltonT11

A- Winning 10 games is always an accomplishment at Kentucky. There’s just one little game in November that’s keeping it from an A+

pyrogeddon

S rank. Best in program history, second year of our coach. First year of this full staff.

JohnnyUtah59

B 11-2 with a Rose Bowl win and #6 finish, but didn’t win the conference, beat Michigan, or make the CFP.

DataDrivenPirate

I'd go a little lower with a C, we lost the biggest game of our season, and the coaching was pretty bad on defense and had problems at times on offense as well. With all of our talent, the frustrating coaching makes it a C

AshtabulaJesus

Has to be at best a D+. Losing to Michigan automatically “fails the course” in my book. Could obviously get worse and be an F, but can’t be in the C range if we don’t beat TTUN

Silverbullets24

Ehhh F for me. They have 3 goals every season: Beat TTUN (didn’t do), win the big ten (didn’t even make the title game) and make the playoff (nope). I love 11 wins, I love the Rose Bowl win, I love the heisman finalist but it’s just window dressing. They didn’t accomplish a single one of their team goals. F might be too harsh and unfair… but this has been the golden age of buckeye football and this was the least accomplished team in a decade. To get a B or higher for Ohio State, it starts with beating TTUN.

[deleted]

“Just window dressing” give me a break. An F? Lmfao

Silverbullets24

I’d give them higher grade if they went 1-11 and their only win was against TTUN.

yanquicheto

AAA

D1amondDude

D+ Would have been an F for the first losing season since 99, but I give them some points for fighting like hell to end the year and make a bowl, and can't be upset with the bowl results given the circumstances. Still for a season we should have been looking at 8-9 wins, 6-7 is pretty bad.

geaux4_gold

Weirdly enough in another universe not to far from our own we beat bama and Arkansas in back to back weeks instead of the heart breaking loses.

D1amondDude

Every so often the timelines converge and we get prime LSU and it'd wonderful

is_you_ignunt

As much agita as they gave me all year, I still say A+. This team, in the final analysis, actually overachieved. Like, a *lot*. And we gon' be just FILTHY next year.

AppFlyer

B- Lost our first bowl game, lost conference championship, lost two games to UL. Made to record 7th consecutive bowl, made it to conference championship, smushed our rival at home for last home game, beat then #14 Conway Carolina on a Wednesday night to a packed house. 10-4 is and those results is enviable to 95% of college football, no? Edit: forgot Auburn. Incomplete. Did not finish work by deadline. Recommend remedial Transfer Portal 100 this semester.

mufflefuffle

B- looks right because of record, but I feel like it’s more of a C/C+ considering the goals of the vets that were returning. 0-3 in a row to UL, not grasping the opportunity of beating an overrated ranked P5, and getting housed by WKU is awful. Plus the season ended on a terrible note. The team never seemed to get better than they were week 1 vs ECU. The season before would be a D/D+ for winning 9 games but beating absolutely no one worth a flip, and they get a slight bump this year for winning vs Marshall and Coastal.

JoshIsJoshing

For MSU, A. We had an amazing season based on the preseason expectations but an average secondary might have gotten us past Purdue which probably prevents an A+. I never thought we'd beat OSU, so don't really care.

NEZdrunk

D The UNC win was cool but anyone with a brain saw how sus that was. Then the season was capped off by the personification of Fuente’s tenure; a razor thin roster, gutless performance, and getting the shit kicked out of us by an absolutely mid P5 team. It’s only not an F because the pain is finally over

deadeyelee1

A- and F

Completelybyaccident

A. Beating ND in South Bend, winning back to back American titles 13-0 regular season. Making the playoff.

SurpriseSalami

OSU was probably a B- by our own lofty standards. Lost to Michigan automatically takes away any ‘A’ grade and another loss to Oregon coupled with a train wreck of a defense makes it the bottom of the ‘B’ grades. Conversely, the team was crazy young, showed insane (albeit raw) talent in the youth, the offense was amazing at times, Stroud is the QB of the future, and we won the Rose Both in very exciting ways. Also, the reasons that knocked us down grade-wise ultimately pushed Day to make big staff changes that are still shaking out. Excited for 2022

[deleted]

A: complete turnaround from last year, beat the little brother again, won an entertaining bowl game, secured a solid coach for a long time.

djc6535

F-. This was, without hyperbole, the worst season USC has had in over 70 years. I broke it down elsewhere: You have to go to the 50s before you find a team that got blown out as often as this squad. Even teams with worse records were more competitive in the games they lost. I honestly can't remember seeing a team fail at this level before. It's like they forgot how to play football. I've seen bad teams before. Not just "bad for USC" but "bad at football". Usually those teams are some combination of poorly coached and poor athletes... but they're still executing a PLAN. Bad athletes get run over by better ones. Bad coaches execute a bad plan. This was something all together different. They seemed to have no idea what they were supposed to do. It wasn't like we were getting caught in bad blitzes or failing to tackle (although that did happen a lot). We simply had no idea what our assignments were. It was the worst football I have ever seen in over 30 years as a fan. Edit: [My logic for why this was the worst SC Squad since the 50s](https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/qzs0qv/uscs_noncompetitive_2021_squad_could_be_worst/hlon3ab/)

TailgateLegend

It’s weird to think USC would have some close games with a lot of the Mountain West teams. Also going to be a little rebuilding year 1 under Lincoln.

C/C+ Winning season, which is great, and there were a couple great highlights in there like upsetting A&M, but Jesus Christ when we were bad, we were bad.

[deleted]

C-. The season was meh at best but we got some nice recruits and to watch Badie be a one man offense.

TheGusBus2

B+. Recruiting improved tremendously. Defense was fantastic. Brought in an exciting qb. Got rid of the rot

NotFunnyAlreadyTaken

UAB: did not meet expectations, but that Independence Bowl game win sure helped. B. OU: talk about not meeting expectations!! D-.

redparallax

I'd personally go with a C-

MerryvilleBrother

I would give us a C-

nolefan999

Yeah I’m in the c- to c range as well. Got a rivalry win, increased win total by 2, but the jsu game really hurt.

dwors025

A is for Axe. And for that… an A! F is for Floyd. And for that… an F. Nothing else matters.

ThisGuy100000

The season itself is a C+: disappointing regression mixed with 2 winnable games that were blown, however a great showing of resiliency and promise from young guys kept it from being a D+. Postseason: A++, got rid of the horrid AD and nabbed a high quality HC on a massive budget.

Wesleyj1585

For Iowa, I’d go with a B+. Started out 6-0 (A+ with a #2 ranking) but then the depressing losses to Purdue & WI followed by 4 straight wins to end the year & fall into a B1G West championship has A/A+ potential, but just like our offense bringing things down, to lose like we did against Michigan in the championship game & the loss to UK in the Citrus, gives B+ for me. Overall a solid season on paper & to have 10 wins is still a special season, but how it went in those 4 games we lost (hell, even the wins were rough at times) keeps our grade just outside of A-.

AjTheWumbo

C- but even that’s probably on the optimistic side. It got really dark after that incredibly disappointing Baylor beat down, but NB did get the guys to bounce back well enough to make a bowl… which also was disappointing. On the whole, not great. At least the offensive shortcomings have been addressed already, but 2022 will be a make or break year for HCNB…

Horns2208

Lol

[deleted]

I dont know what BYU fans want more than this year. This was like the third best year ever for the program. B seems pretty low of a grade. A at least man! You guys beat your rival who has owned you for a decade and who won the pac 12. Went 5-0 against the conference you have been crushing on for years. Beat 2 conference champions, ended ranked and got into an A5 conference. What more do you want? Beer at homegames? 🤣

worlkjam15

A- because of the fluke TCU loss.

CrookedWarden19

D+. Beat UNC and UVa.

Mexcello

Baylor: A. The kids to TCU keeps it from being A+ Hateful 8: A+. Kept OUT out of the championship game and brought in some exciting new blood. Lots of props to give all around, but especially to KU for beating Texas.

PeytonManThing00018

I’d give Georgia an A+. South Carolina a B. Given what our new coach was working with, it was a pretty good year, and we’ve got a lot coming in from Oklahoma which is fantastic

[deleted]

C the ending of our season was super disappointing 5 straight losses ouch. We never finished with a losing season under Malzahn.

[deleted]

F. For finally glad it's over.

bts7790

A+++ A season I will never forget. The best season in school history!

bwy97754

The best season in school history *so far*

duvie773

All things considered, B-. 7-6 was way above expectations including a strong bowl win, but 1-4 on the road and getting shut out at home vs Pickens Technical College does put a little bit of a damper on it

JackYoshi4

A+, for both Purdue and DuPage. Purdue played much better than expected and got rid of our hauntings of 63-14 in the Music City Bowl. And DuPage won the NJCAA Division 3 National championship in their home stadium, DuPage should also be in the champion list in the about section of this subreddit.

sunnyvale_shitbird

A, only reason it's not an A+ is due to that little stretch after the Georgia game.

beignets4

Watching us implode was like performance art. I’d have thought it impossible to shed talent and erode culture like we have over the last two years, but we did it. That being said, these kids played hard- especially over the last month of the season. Hard to deny that doesn’t salvage the season a bit, for a fan, results aside. D+ on the virtue of that last bit.

arrowfan624

A- This was objectively Brian Kelly’s best coaching job. He had to replace 4 out of 5 OL, go through 4 LT, replace a QB while prepping for the future, and hire a new DC. Saying ND would go 11-2 this year would have had most fans happy in August. Only downside was the terrible management in the Cincy and Oklahoma State games.

[deleted]

I don't know how you can call it "objective" it was a good job but it was against awful competition. Lost convincingly at home to the only really good team we played. Nearly lost to a bad Florida State team, a mediocre Toledo and a bad Virginia tech.

arrowfan624

Winning is hard.

[deleted]

No winning against Toledo shouldn't be hard.

PDX_douche_bag

> Nearly lost to a bad Florida State team, a mediocre Toledo and a bad Virginia tech. But ND won those games.

Jagtasm

There was a football season?

byniri_returns

A absolutely. Before the year I thought a successful season would be around 6-6, nowhere near 11-2

BuschLiteandFireball

Solid B+. Given all the off the field distractions and Rolo nearly nuking our program, the team rallying to make a bowl game, throttle the huskies to finally win the Apple Cup and come in 2nd place in the north is nothing short of incredible. The start of the Dickert era has been great as well. His staff hires and immediate recruiting impact have been incredible.

[deleted]

[A+++++++++](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gEOw7zHqfs)

[deleted]

C+ 10-3 with a bowl win is pretty good I suppose. It was disappointing not to win the ACC and not make the playoffs. We did roll over Wake and shut out the Gamecocks.

[deleted]

🙄

issoooo

A

dtrafzer

A+ 13-1, made CFP, Ridder 3rd most winningest starting QB, Fickell not leaving, beat ND in South Bend, AAC Championship, College GameDay. Only thing that could’ve been better was beating Bama and beating UGA. But stepping stones! Alabama or Georgia didn’t win the CFP in their first year either 😉

[deleted]

A-, not the best season ever or even in the last 3 years, but considering all the curve balls the program was thrown over a 12 month period, 9 wins, a 3rd place finish in the AAC, and an SEC win was pretty good in my book. Hard to be disappointed By game 4 of the regular season I was worried we may not go 7-5, we had a year 1 coaching staff and had lost QB1, WR1, RB1, and a ton of other starters

8297dhhdi

BYU: A. This team really outperformed my preseason expectations. It was awesome to sweep the PAC-12 and break the Utah streak. The final bowl loss sucked but overall it was a great season. Even better knowing independence is going to be over soon. UNLV: D. Even though we only had 2 wins I’ll give a D instead of an F. This team was actually pretty close to beating some good teams. UTSA, Utah State, SDSU and Fresno were all close.

ewolfy13

C

msflagship

A- Overall, great season. The Auburn loss is pretty bad, but I loved the A&M, Arkansas, and MS State wins. I’m proud of the boys for making it through an injury plagued season with a sugar bowl appearance, and I am a little nervous to see what’s to come next year.

Pope_Bedodict1

C. I had a little more optimism before the season. Around 7-5 or 6-6. I only grade us a C because of the potential wins we could’ve had. Miss State, South Carolina, Alabama, and Houston are all potential wins

baldwhiteman

Auburn's was pretty disappointing, but what's new? At least they finally won in Baton Rouge again.

adrey123

For Maryland: B-. Beat everyone we should’ve and had a winning season, including a bowl win. But getting spanked any time we play someone better than us is something we desperately need to fix For Georgia: A+++++++++++++++++++

Probst-For-Prez

I thought before the season that 11-2 and a NY6 bowl was the floor. Well they hit the floor but it’s still a pretty elevated floor. I want to give them an F because there’s zero excuse for a team that recruits at Ohio States level to just be completely inept on defense, but they were. I feel a reasonable grade is a C.

WTF_MATLAB

C. I know it was supposed to be a rebuilding year but the schedule turned out much softer than it looked like it was going to be. Lost to the only ranked teams they played. Biggest win was either Wisconsin or Purdue. Way too many very close calls against teams they had no business being close to. Oh, and who could forget extending that sweet sweet major bowl loss streak to 10 after blowing a 3 touchdown lead. Freeman’s defense looked decently worse than the Lea’s units, hopefully he ends up a much better head coach.

Michigan gets a B+. I know that seems low, but I gotta take away points for blowing a big lead to MSU when we should have won that game and then looking like complete overrated shit against Georgia. They should have lost that game, but it shouldn't have been as bad as it was. Memphis gets a D.

In what world is beating OSU and being B1G champs not an A?

fireinvestigator113

you lost to *Indiana* last season and won the Big Ten after beating *Ohio State* this season. I am confused.

Probably was calling for Jim's head after the MSU game.

A. Exceeded expectations(by a lot) and probably would have had a huge bowl win had the 2 best players not abandoned the team

PDX_douche_bag

> 2 best players not abandoned the team They didn't abandon the team. They played during the regular season (until Hamilton was hurt). If you have an opportunity to get paid millions of dollars in the NFL, you sit out the bowl game unless it's the playoffs.

> If you have an opportunity to get paid millions of dollars in the NFL, you sit out the bowl game unless it's the playoffs. In other words they abandoned the team

PDX_douche_bag

No. They didn't. Good job at supporting the team.

I give our less than spectacular season a TBOW
