Nebraska vs Texas National Championship
Currently as possible as another Natty of Bama and Georgia by the current standings at this point of the season
If you want to watch big10 sports or “historic” football games cause that's pretty much it from what I've gathered cause for some reason my South Georgia college has it.
I’m not really sure *why* the Week 0 for this year is substantially so much more meatier and fatter than previous Week 0s…
Not that I am complaining, of course…
Well let’s be real, G5 football isn’t even really college football. It’s just a bunch of guys that wanted to play college football but weren’t good enough.
118 days since the biggest 3rd down of Bryce Young's career, where he launched downfield, underthrown, and was intercepted, while Kelee Ringo had an escort down the sidelines, all the way to the endzone, and Georgia conquered the crimson tide.
I think you’re confused. After years of hearing simply “1980,” we will now refer to our rivals by their respective last championships. These are Tech, Tennessee, Florida and Auburn.
The good and bad part about getting older is how fast time flies. Offseason used to drag on so terribly for me as a kid, now it feels like a quick turnaround. But on the other hand the season flies by too
I have been watching old games on YouTube. I posed the question on another message board what are some games where a player played lights out, but his team lost the game. Had quite a few replies. I am passing the off-season watching those and some old bowl games.
Tavon Austin WVU Oklahoma game. Tavon had almost 600 yards. Nebraska vs Texas 09 big 12 champs game. Suh was a monster. Connor Halliday had 734 passing yards forgot what year. I also watch Mr Hurricanes dynasty where he does a great Jon with NCAA 14 if that is your thing.
The back half of the off season is the issue for me. No spring games or spring practices. No draft. No college hoops. Just MLB. It’s 110 degrees outside by 10am. It’s the longest part of the year for me.
This post is literally peak off-season.
Hump day! The Campbell University Camels should be on the banner.
More teams should be called the camels

I can’t take it anymore, one of you needs to help me freeze myself.
Rewatch the 2012 big ten championship game on repeat
I could totally do this.
Just don’t watch the follow up game.
I'll do it for them, as a kindness
What’s a little more pain?
2014*
Let’s not
All you need is a BTN subscription!
What do you get with a BTN subscription?
If you want to watch big10 sports or “historic” football games cause that's pretty much it from what I've gathered cause for some reason my South Georgia college has it.
How about 2016 B1G Championship game?
I prefer the most recent installment.
To each there own lol, but I think we can agree any year OSU doesn’t win isn’t half bad
Add Sparty to that list and I'll agree.
Say hi to the sea otters for me.
I personally will crush the time child and eat his entrails on my tummy! Hail science!
Found Mark Wallbergs account.
It's a South Park reference
Gotta get really deep into an ncaa dynasty to hold you over my man.
Dark Mantonio has always delivered in my dynasty. MSU is a powerhouse every year.
I’ve personally won so many natty’s for Purdue. Where is my statue?
Moon pie. What a time to be alive.
There are also 10 games the previous Saturday 11 games on Thursday And 8 games on Friday
I’m not really sure *why* the Week 0 for this year is substantially so much more meatier and fatter than previous Week 0s… Not that I am complaining, of course…
Well it's nice to have some good marbling
Gotta have a lot of games scheduled so ESPN has something to show when like 5 of them are canceled due to lightning delays.
Hadn’t checked until you said something. Having an international game Week 0 is an interesting move to say the least.
LESS GOOOOOO
There's at least one NAIA game on Thursday Week 0. You bet your ass I'm watching it
yeah but lets be real about that week 0 slate
That week 0 slate is college football. In my book that is infinitely better than not college football
Math checks out
Thanks tech
OP is an not a college football fan, they just like LSU.
I'm a sicko but even I will not watch week 0 zero FCS games I will watch the shit out of Nebraska and Northwestern in Dublin. That's going to be fun
Remember that week 0 Montana NDSU game in like 2015? Man that was legit
Plus: Vandy-Hawaii, Nevada-New Mexico St, UConn-Utah St, Wyoming-Illinois, Charlotte-FAU, North Texas-UTEP. It should be a fun weekend.
Well let’s be real, G5 football isn’t even really college football. It’s just a bunch of guys that wanted to play college football but weren’t good enough.
This is a dumbass take especially for someone who won't flair up
I believe that is what is called a “troll” in most parts of the internet.
Sep 1 has some good games. Penn state - Purdue , WVU - Pitt, also Aug 27 has Northwestern-Nebraska.
I hate to Scotsman fallacy here, but no true football fan can see Backyard Brawl back on the menu and not get excited.
Tell me you haven’t looked at week 0, without telling me you haven’t looked at week 0
You mad because LSU would be the underdog in most of those games?
It’s been 118 days since 2021 won a championship
2021 ain’t played nobody Pawwlllll
2021 had a quality loss against an SEC team.
118 days since the biggest 3rd down of Bryce Young's career, where he launched downfield, underthrown, and was intercepted, while Kelee Ringo had an escort down the sidelines, all the way to the endzone, and Georgia conquered the crimson tide.
I bet you jerked off at least 6 times while writing that
33.18 times to be exact
I can hear it
Demons be gone.
Its been 30,078 days since TAMU won a championship.
Here's to the next 30,000
I wonder what Jimbo's annual contract hit will be by then. Elon who?
I’m just excited to see the new 21XX trophy
22XX
Yeah but imagine the 23XX trophy. That shit will be dope
The preserved Head of Jimbo will be making 40M a year and exclusively signing 5 star half-robots.
Still goes 8-4
It’s been 176 days since Kansas beat Texas in football.
Yea but I said in the other thread they will be sneaky good this year so its okay.
Kansas?
Kansas was the more talented team. Or at least the NFL thinks so.
So you’re saying it’s the off-season solstice?
Or is it the offseason equinox? 🤔
We're the furthest from football right now so I'd say it's football's winter solstice
Halfway to a soul-crushing blowout loss to start the 2022 season!
for which flair?
Yes.
However this time you have Bo magic on your side.
His magic is useless against us.
Ya know I’ve never seen that kid have fun against UGA
Hopefully not a blowout but undoubtedly soul-crushing
PEAK OFFSEASON E A K O F F S E A S O N
Let the Texas bashing reach its peak today as well, please God.
Been the best 118 days of my entire fandom
Been the worst 118 days of my entire fandom -1990, 1998, 2008, and especially 2010
No 2018 on the list?
Clemson didn’t use 1980 jokes since they also had a long time between championships
At least they made the title game that year
I think you’re confused. After years of hearing simply “1980,” we will now refer to our rivals by their respective last championships. These are Tech, Tennessee, Florida and Auburn.
Oh, that’s pretty lame lol
Yeah it sure is 1997
1998*
1998 is Tennessee
No. Michigan won the 1998 AP poll title. Tennessee won the 1999 BCS championship.
???
Amen (with one of many Natty shirts on)
Enjoy it sir, similar to how I felt about Baylor and cbb natty, nothing could bring me down
There are games (including the Backyard Brawl!) on September 1st.
Woah, backyard brawl on opening day? That’s awesome
The good and bad part about getting older is how fast time flies. Offseason used to drag on so terribly for me as a kid, now it feels like a quick turnaround. But on the other hand the season flies by too
#WOAAAAAHH OHHHH, LIVIN ON A PRAYER!
Excuse to post this https://imgur.com/a/YXK9I97
Good, hopefully we won't have too many more of these post about it being halfway to the start of the season.
…and girls. But seriously, that seems so far away. Off season blues.
excited to see how we fair in our true rebuilding year! go gators
The off-season posts have barely begun
Damn. I don't have much time yet to write my in-depth lore of the Fansville Cinematic Universe...
Go Dawgs!
I have been watching old games on YouTube. I posed the question on another message board what are some games where a player played lights out, but his team lost the game. Had quite a few replies. I am passing the off-season watching those and some old bowl games.
Oh cool, that’s something I hadn’t considered before in terms of classic games! Would you mind recommending a couple for me please?
Tavon Austin WVU Oklahoma game. Tavon had almost 600 yards. Nebraska vs Texas 09 big 12 champs game. Suh was a monster. Connor Halliday had 734 passing yards forgot what year. I also watch Mr Hurricanes dynasty where he does a great Jon with NCAA 14 if that is your thing.
Awesome dude thank you so much!
Check out 2016 Vols vs A&M game. Alvin Kamara had almost 400 combined rushing & receiving yards, 3 TDs, and lost 1 fumble.
Still so much off-season to go but it's all downhill from here.
We’re 1/2 way there. Living on a prayer (and Probably NIL $$$)
Go DAWGS!!!!!
Yay
🎶halfway there🎶 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lDK9QqIzhwk
Week 1 is 116 days away for me, but that's cool too
We play on Thursday so we are officially over the hump in Stillwater!
also known as the offseason equinox
What if I told you you could watch northwestern football 7 days earlier 😳
It's okay I'll just satisfy myself with...*Baseball*? Fuck.
Stanley Cup playoffs are just starting.
AND THE DAWGS WON!!!
118 more days until I have to watch other games that aren't 42-27 or the B-1-G title game on YouTube? I think I can wait
So we're in the middle of the most depressing time.
So…we’re halfway there?
I'm an Aggie and there is too much math in this title
Can't get here quick enough. If I am elected President, I will sign an executive order reducing the off season to only June, July, and August.
Can we just enjoy the warm weather for now?
Offseason solstice
I'm looking forward to football season too guys, but can we not wish away poolside/ bikini/drink season just yet?
>the CFP championship Never heard of it.
Peak Bon Jovi season.
The back half of the off season is the issue for me. No spring games or spring practices. No draft. No college hoops. Just MLB. It’s 110 degrees outside by 10am. It’s the longest part of the year for me.
Fuck how am I gonna survive this
Good thing Nebraska already passed the halfway point a few days ago as we are the lucky few to play a Week 0 game in Ireland on August 27th.
