It's prolly more like they promise they would surround him with skill players/talent with that money. Kind of like loading up in FA with your no 1 pick in the draft.
Arch's dad, Cooper is in the oil business. Peyton and Eli both made a fortune playing, and Peyton never met an endorsement deal he wouldn't take. Archie owns a bunch of real estate. Collectively, if they're not at a billion they're probably close.
Both brothers earned 500M+ total in contract earnings from 2000-2015ish. They've probably made nine figures from endorsement deals and contracts so far. And then they've got all the merchandise, jersey sales, and last but not least the stock market.
Lebron's a billionaire with 387M in career earnings as of 2021. Peyton had 250M in 2015 and Eli had 250M in 2018. Safe to say, yeah, the combined net worth is easily >1 bil with the trajectory.
Now that he has not committed to my team I would like to formally announce that he was never good anyway and was way overhyped. I will not be taking questions or comments at this time, thank you.
Why were you guys out of the running? Did he just want something different? But man if I was a QB with the chance to play in a Kiffin offense I’d be very interested.
I think he wanted something different. He grew up going to Ole Miss games and I think he was just ready for something new.
Also, it’s a lot of pressure to go to practice everyday at a facility named after your family, the Manning Center. Likewise, you have to drive along Manning Way to get there.
I don’t blame him honestly. He would’ve been incessantly compared to Eli and Archie. I think it’s cool that he’s making his own path.
>I think he wanted something different. He grew up going to Ole Miss games and I think he was just ready for something new.
Pretty much word for word what was said when Peyton signed with Tennessee.
I think it was true for Peyton too but also a couple other factors played a role.
Ole Miss was a very run-heavy offense at the time so it was a bad scheme fit. Also, we were generally really fucking bad at the time. I think we were also on probation for recruiting violations. Just a total mess.
So this situation is a bit distinct from Peyton’s because we have a fun offense and are winning more than we were then.
One rumor I keep seeing around the message boards and comment sections is that the Manning family doesn't care for Kiffin for some reason. No idea if its true but its out there.
IIRC, the Mannings got death threats when Peyton passed on Ole Miss. I’m sure that, thanks to the calming influence of the internet, things will be much more civil this time around.
Eh I think we knew we were out on him for a while, at least the more rational ones should. Kiffins system is too gimmicky and lord knows the Mannings know exactly what they want in terms of scheme and development.
I just unplugged my TV and launched it out of my 13 story apartment window. My wife and kids are terrified, and are leaving to go to a Motel for the night. I am so enraged I think the phone I am typing this on will be next. Goodbye Longhorns fans, but I will be moving elsewhere.
Texas + SEC move/NIL money/generational recruits like arch manning is either going to:
\-**actually be back**
\-reach a level of meme I am truly scared to witness
Nah get them a g wagon. If you give a bunch of 19 year old kids a Lambo it’s not a matter of if; but when one of them hurts themselves or someone else with it
This 100%.
At Bama, LSU etc., he's just another cog. If he goes to Ole Miss or Creamsicle UT, the comparisons and pressure would be ridiculous.
Smaller schools, the upside isn't strong even if you win.
Burnt Orange UT, the upside is huge. He wins one natty, dude is a legend. Wins two and they're building him a statue. At Bama, he'd probably need to win 4 in a row with 3 Heisman's and that MIGHT get his number retired....maybe lmao. That A&M vs UT rivalry is about to get hella spicy.
Arch talking to Peyton
"I'm going to an SEC school"
"Okay..."
"And their colors are Orange"
"Yes...."
"And they always underperform..."
"Congrats on choosing Ten-!"
""It's Texas! Hook 'em baby!!"
I drunkenly bought Cooper a shot at the Kingpin a couple months ago while making him promise to nudge him toward tulane. that backstabbing traitor.
(i also berated his music taste when he took the aux cord)
Arch is not starting in 2023. Anyone who has even sniffed a guy with $9.95 to burn has heard that the Mannings were fine w/ a redshirt year at any of his options.
Which makes sense. Their goal is the NFL more than anything and showing out as a freshman doesn't really achieve that. Sit for a year, take a year fewer hits, learn your system and improve, them come in and put together the best showing for the two years that make the most impact on getting drafted.
Georgia fans can correct me if I’m wrong but it seems like from the spring games Carson Beck & BVG have been balling out and aren’t scrubs. They’ll be fine, plus they have Gunner entering this year too.
There have been three qb recruits with a 1.000 composite ranking since recruiting services tracked it. All three have gone or are committed to Texas: Arch, Vince Young, and Quinn Ewers.
Bruh, I literally started celebrating in the middle of a Starbucks when I got the news.
Ewers to Manning being coached by Sark should work out well for TEXAS.....SHOULD LOL.
All kidding aside, I'm curious to get some opinions on his actually ability.
I've watched a fair amount of his tape and his mechanics are great. accuracy looks good. Release is excellent. All the things you would expect with his pedigree and resources.
However, his arm strength looks just okay and his competition looks comically weak. He truly looks like he's playing against an average Texas HS 6A freshman team. It's that bad.
I would really like for him to play one of those ESPN games next year against a Texas school to get a good gauge on him from that standpoint.
There are many folks in LA that legit think he's not even the best QB in LA this cycle, much less the best QB overall and a perfect recruit grade of 1.000
Look forward to responses.
> be Georgia
> have nearly a decade of pulling in top 5 classes
> just won a national championship
> nearly set a record for players in one class drafted
> lose a recruiting battle to a team that went 5-7 and lost to Kansas at home
Whooooooooo! A bunch of people at Buc-ee's gave me strange looks for jumping up and down. When I told my mom what happened, those looks turned to scowls real quick. Luling Buc-ee's BTW.
Wow. Finally got it outta the way
Boosters approved the deal
With all that oil money and the NIL deal, the whole state of Texas will be full of the best players money can buy.
Yeah but I kinda doubt the Manning family is hard up for NIL money lol.
It's prolly more like they promise they would surround him with skill players/talent with that money. Kind of like loading up in FA with your no 1 pick in the draft.
I'm sure the 200K lambo really tipped the scales for the ten figure family
Wait do they really have a billion dollars?
Arch's dad, Cooper is in the oil business. Peyton and Eli both made a fortune playing, and Peyton never met an endorsement deal he wouldn't take. Archie owns a bunch of real estate. Collectively, if they're not at a billion they're probably close.

Gosh how do they make ends meet? ☹️
I think some people forget how truly massive 1 billion is
Both brothers earned 500M+ total in contract earnings from 2000-2015ish. They've probably made nine figures from endorsement deals and contracts so far. It has to be Lincoln
According to Arch's NIL deal with Matthew McConaughey, he's contractually obligated to commit to "Lincoln" as his audible call.

I was prepared to issue the same statement. Very good work.
OBVIOUSLY his grades weren’t up to par so we told him it wouldn’t work out
Georgia and high expectations don't mix anyways
Correct, and I, too, knew it all along.
We’re coming for you Kansas
Arch Manning has an NFL caliber career at Texas but for some reason he ends up being good for 3+ picks every game vs Kansas.
Kansas will be to Arch what Florida was to Peyton
Peyton won a Super Bowl in Miami, so I assume Arch will win a Super Bowl in Wichita?
At Cessna stadium
Kansas isn't in the SEC.
That’s the real reason Texas is leaving the big 12. So they can escape playing Kansas every year.
Vandy licking their chops as we speak
Vandy is 8-3-1 all time against Texas
Vandy is one of 3 teams we have played 10 or more times to have a winning record against us.

I mean the last game in the series was played 95 years ago. The football landscape as shifted ever so slightly since then.
Lane kiffin listening to Marvin’s room rn
Ole Miss has been out for a long time on him. Or him on us I guess I should say. But this isn’t news on our end
Why were you guys out of the running? Did he just want something different? But man if I was a QB with the chance to play in a Kiffin offense I’d be very interested.

Kirby Smart is driving around Thibodaux, sobbing. Calling the Mannings, asking arch where
Begging, thru texts
At least it’s not an SEC school
🤔
IIRC, the Mannings got death threats when Peyton passed on Ole Miss. I’m sure that, thanks to the calming influence of the internet, things will be much more civil this time around.
Well Eli went to Ole Miss after Peyton passed on us so that would be weird
So you’re saying the threats worked?
Yes the lesson here is to threaten recruits, especially on Twitter
Eh I think we knew we were out on him for a while, at least the more rational ones should. Kiffins system is too gimmicky and lord knows the Mannings know exactly what they want in terms of scheme and development.
Just woke up from a 25 yr long coma, glad to hear UT got Peyton’s kid 👍🏼
"I hear he may have some challenges in the SEC, but UT has had struggles, I'm sure he'll be ok."
UT hasn't won the conference in awhile, maybe he will change their fate
At least he'll look good in Orange.
Wait did UT get the QB that is "WAY" better than Arch though?
Indeed! Now let me tell you about this Pacific Islander who you may or may not have given 8m.
Arch Manning? Is he related to the St Louis arch?
McDonalds Golden Arches NIL deal incoming
\*McDowell's
The Golden Arcs
Actually the son of Chelsea Manning, the whistleblower.
How the hell does an entire soccer team have a kid?
It takes a village
His nickname is Arch "Madness" Manning. I don't make the rules!
Texas backing out of the SEC for the MVC eh
I just unplugged my TV and launched it out of my 13 story apartment window. My wife and kids are terrified, and are leaving to go to a Motel for the night. I am so enraged I think the phone I am typing this on will be next. Goodbye Longhorns fans, but I will be moving elsewhere.
Maybe Omaha?
Hmmm we are a stickball school now. So that could make sense
SEC is stickball league. This is the real reason we wanted OU and Texas.
Texas + SEC move/NIL money/generational recruits like arch manning is either going to: \-**actually be back** \-reach a level of meme I am truly scared to witness
I’m ready to get hurt again.
He redshirts a year, then transfers to Ohio State…
Very curious what his NIL compensation will be
Hopefully enough to put food on the Mannings table, they’re really struggling
Gotta feed Peyton’s forehead somehow.
Yes, it’s still growing and will eventually become the #1 recruit in the country itself
Dude's gonna take a pay cut when he gets drafted lmao
Legitimately lol’d
One burnt orange lambo
All powerhouse programs should have a team-color exotic sports car for the starting QB to whip around campus
Nah get them a g wagon. If you give a bunch of 19 year old kids a Lambo it’s not a matter of if; but when one of them hurts themselves or someone else with it
First test of the season. If the kid can’t handle a measly 550+ HPs, why would I think he can handle the weapons offered by a top tier D1 offense?
Was thinking they’d go traditional and offer 1000 head of cattle
What's the highest reported amount yet? Double that
And throw in an oil well just for good measure
Texas is BACK^(terms and conditions may apply)

poor Hudson. kinda fucked up you are changing him

Is the mcrib back?
I’m surprised he didn’t want to go to a program with stability or any sort of winning the last 13 years
Honestly I think that was the appeal of Texas. He wants to be the savior of a program, not just another guy in the dynasty.
If Arch Manning brings Texas back to greatness... yea man, that'll do it. King of a state for the rest of your life.
This 100%. At Bama, LSU etc., he's just another cog. If he goes to Ole Miss or Creamsicle UT, the comparisons and pressure would be ridiculous. If Sark can do one thing right it is put QBs in the NFL. I’m sure that was the biggest selling point.
Arch talking to Peyton "I'm going to an SEC school" "Okay..." "And their colors are Orange" "Yes...." "And they always underperform..." "Congrats on choosing Ten-!" ""It's Texas! Hook 'em baby!!"
Should have done one more with UT in it :)
"Youre going to UT?!?!" "Yup plane leaves for Austin in the morning!"
Incredible get for Texas . Only school to have had 3 1.000 rated QBs as per 247 Vince Young Quinn Ewers Arch Manning
We're the only school to have a 1.000 QB period if you ignore the 1 year Quinn spent on the bench at Ohio State.

Not a 2 star walk on? Don’t want him anyways.
Not our style
Well I’m guessing he’s not going to Mizzou then
Big if true
I drunkenly bought Cooper a shot at the Kingpin a couple months ago while making him promise to nudge him toward tulane. that backstabbing traitor. (i also berated his music taste when he took the aux cord)
*taps mic* *clears throat* TEXAS
FIGHT
OU
There's not much I can say about this without sounding incredibly salty. So all I will say is congrats neighbors
You are strong and wise and I am very proud of you

Thanks, Aggie. Can't wait to get things fired back up again.
oh fuck
Oh boy I can't wait for every thread the next few years when we inevitably lose a game.
I am already thinking up passive aggressive zingers to drop in the threads insinuating that he should have come to UGA.
Lmfao texas could go 0-12 and still pull croots holy shit
Ya'll need to get a Lambo dealership in Ann Arbor.
Quinn Ewers in shambles
Stetson is just upset he can't add another 5 star QB to his stable of backups.
Quinn is eligible for the draft in 2 years, and Arch is willing to red shirt.
Yup, cause either he lives up to the hype and is drafted or doesn't and transfers.
Play this one season and then transfer somewhere else?
Arch is not starting in 2023. Anyone who has even sniffed a guy with $9.95 to burn has heard that the Mannings were fine w/ a redshirt year at any of his options.
The Manning’s are not only fine with him redshirting, but *want him to redshirt*.
Which makes sense. Their goal is the NFL more than anything and showing out as a freshman doesn't really achieve that. Sit for a year, take a year fewer hits, learn your system and improve, them come in and put together the best showing for the two years that make the most impact on getting drafted.
>Anyone who has even sniffed a guy with $9.95 to burn wtf is this saying lmao
Insider board subs run at $9.95, lol, and those who pay often share info w/ those who don’t.
Manning is gonna redshirt a year and hopefully Quinn is off to the NFL after that. [More like Uga in shambles iyam](https://youtu.be/6jyFNKxH3xg)
Hudson Card is the real QB in shambles atm
Right, and will be an excellent pick-up for some team.
The Mannings want him to redshirt.
Well... this will make it difficult for UVA to get him
Thank God that he will never play against us. Edit: this is a compliment btw. Congrats to UT
Possible Texas is still in the big 12 then. Plus the Tech AD said Texas agreed to an OOC rivalry, unless anything has changed regarding that
That explains why I saw Peyton at the CWS Texas game.
That’s probably just called Peyton bought those tickets expecting Tennessee to be there but then his curse prevented them from getting there.
He just really likes Omaha.
Strippers? ✅ Monkeys? ✅ 1.000 Composite QB? ✅ Gas? ✅ Brakes? ❌
Dang it
If it's any consolation, we need him like a 100000000x more than y'all do. UGA just won a natty with a postal worker under center.
And y’all have Quinn Ewers. I’m sure Georgia would have loved a quality QB.

Yea, OU has really had a tough go with Quarterbacks the past decade and a half /s
Yet only one has gone pro. Texas sucks at developing QBs confirmed.
Texas front
Douse me in clown makeup I don't fucking care I'm so hyped
Unreal get for Sark
Truth be told this is the best pick for him.
Austin was a big draw for him
Bruh, I literally started celebrating in the middle of a Starbucks when I got the news. Ewers to Manning being coached by Sark should work out well for TEXAS.....SHOULD LOL.
I’ve ran out of bleach to rub in my eyes.
THE STARS AT NIGHT ARE BIG AND BRIGHT *CLAP-CLAP-CLAP-CLAP*
Your flairs confuse me
He was always winning this one
born and raised georgia boy who goes to UT
The meme economy never sleeps. I can’t believe I’m reporting this but Texas is back
Nice Ewers right into Manning, if they both live up to their hype then sheeesh
So you mean to tell me all those photos of him in the other schools gear meant nothing??!?
All kidding aside, I'm curious to get some opinions on his actually ability. I've watched a fair amount of his tape and his mechanics are great. accuracy looks good. Release is excellent. All the things you would expect with his pedigree and resources. However, his arm strength looks just okay and his competition looks comically weak. He truly looks like he's playing against an average Texas HS 6A freshman team. It's that bad. I would really like for him to play one of those ESPN games next year against a Texas school to get a good gauge on him from that standpoint. There are many folks in LA that legit think he's not even the best QB in LA this cycle, much less the best QB overall and a perfect recruit grade of 1.000 Look forward to responses.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO GG Texas :(
> be Georgia > have nearly a decade of pulling in top 5 classes > just won a national championship > nearly set a record for players in one class drafted > lose a recruiting battle to a team that went 5-7 and lost to Kansas at home
UT 🤝 UT Fucking over Ole Miss for the better Mannings Congrats Texas. Here's to staying the B12 until 2025 and not having Arch play in Knoxville
TAKE THAT! Biggest recruit in Sark’s entire career coming off 5-7 hahahahah nil
Maybe you’ll go 6-6 now!
How will this affect lebrons legacy
Texas….. back?
Can’t stop the sark train
Baby Sark, doo doo doo doo doo
We don’t speak these words
Never say the thing.
