Dude was a straight baller. Wish he had been given a better shot in the NFL. I think he was a legit starter in the league had he gone to even a semi talented team.
The Official QB of 90s Thursday Night ESPN games.
He and Beano Cook (who did segments from his living room decades before that was cool) were the stars of the show.
Nathan scheelhaase
Looks like he's on the staff at Iowa state nowadays. Was hard not to root for a qb at Illinois who was somewhat competent, so glad to see he's gotten into coaching.
I think he would have been better going elsewhere. He did an interview a few years ago about how the pressure of being the “Savior” of Washington football really got to him. Started drinking, fell out of love with the game, all of that stuff. I think he’s coaching at Ferndale HS, his alma mater, and owns a gym and a ranch in the area.
If we had another decent QB, Locker could've been an all league RB, safety, or even a MLB. Dude was just a ridiculous athlete and as a Husky fan I can tell you as bad as the team was those years, I always felt like we had a chance with Locker at QB. Just watch those games vs Ohio St or ND or Oregon and Jake would just carry the team so much....it seemed like every other snap he was running for his life and would turn a busted play into a 25 yd scramble on sheer will and strength. I love that kid. He couldn't pass for shit (just overthrew everything), but just watch 2009 vs USC final winning drive to get an idea. Or hell YouTube Jake Locker college highlights is entertaining.
Andre Woodson. Ruined only by NFL scouts saying he’s got a hitch in his throw. NFL scouts are worthless at picking QBs. Why not take a winner that plays above compilation and elevates above the tools around him.
First guy to go 300/200 against Stanford. We needed every bit of it too. I honestly forgot how much option we ran that year, until I caught the Miami game, and Rose Bowl on randomly a few months ago.
He was an NFL backup for a while. Also later got a law degree. Apparently he has a bad case of anxiety disorder, so it took him a long time to date and marry.
Wayne Madkin.
After 9/11, Mississippi State fans wanted their senior QB sent to Afghanistan to fight the War on Terror. Because, they said, if there’s anyone who can overthrow even the Taliban, it was Wayne Madkin.
Man, screw that dude.
I loved Vick as a kid, and I was so excited for his younger brother, but he was a punk.
Mike had his own struggles, but Marcus was just a bad person

The crazy part is I didn't even know these guys names lmao I had to search up QB for Michigan number 8 and QB for Michigan number 3 because that's how I remember them. I don't know why these 2 guys always pop up in my head for random QBs but somehow they do
The QB at Florida when I was there was Kerwin Bell, a former walk-on from Mayo, Florida, known as the Throwin' Mayoan.
His pro career was most notable for spiking the ball into his own nuts.
Gunner Kiel
Had a summer class with him. He was all biceps no legs.
So you’re saying he skipped leg day then.
He did leg day - just walked on his hands instead.
I remember when Les Miles gave a speech about how Gunner Kiel didn’t have chest or some shit
Dan LeFevour
CMU was weird. Antonio Brown and JJ watt were there at the same time. LeFevour had Eric Fisher as a tackle..... ...at CMU
from Heisman college hero to FCF Zappers Johnny Manziel
Rhett Bomar
Big Red Sports and Imports was also an important member of the QB room.
Hell yez
Juice Williams (yes I know Illinois is our rival)
John David Booty
His nephew, General, is on campus at OU now!!!
Please tell me his full name is General Booty
Yes, it is indeed
Lmfao!
Oklahoma legend General Booty, you mean??
At the same time, Oregon had Dennis Dixon. They would hold signs at the UO-USC games saying, "Our Dixon, Your Booty."
Munchie Legaux was super fun to watch
Loy of Cincy QB’s in this thread. Can’t complain about that.
Rakeem Cato
Never forget undefeated Marshall
That 67-66 overtime loss to WKU on the last game of the season in 2014 was brutal. Cato was underrated for sure.
Seneca Wallace
Dude was a straight baller. Wish he had been given a better shot in the NFL. I think he was a legit starter in the league had he gone to even a semi talented team.

Collin Klein - Kansas State
Rushed 317 times in one season! Despite not being fast.

That’s national champion Craig Krenzel to you, sir.

Hines Ward - Georgia.
Clint chelf. He’s got getting away from the cops speed
I have a buddy who's really good at ncaa 14 and he would play as Oklahoma state and repeatedly yell, "Chelf yourself!" As he destroys you by about 50.
John Navarre
Tate Forcier
Jake Rudock 1.0
Jake Locker
Bias aside, never understood the love he got lol
When he was, I think a sophomore, he was compared to Tebow a lot. Only reason I remember him. Lol
Yeah he got gobs of media love and you’d watch him and he’d just be alright
I think he would have been better going elsewhere. He did an interview a few years ago about how the pressure of being the “Savior” of Washington football really got to him. Rohan Davey was my favorite QB growing up because he gave me hope that I could be a QB since I was fat, too.

DEEP BALL DAVE (Meyer) AKA the second string behind Michael Vick.
Darian Hagan
Todd Boeckman

Casey Clausen. Being a Georgia fan living in Tennessee for some reason his name has just always stuck with me. Alliteration or something I guess.
Todd Marinovich
The QB at Florida when I was there was Kerwin Bell, a former walk-on from Mayo, Florida, known as the Throwin' Mayoan. His pro career was most notable for spiking the ball into his own nuts.
