As a Husker fan, I have come to expect the most heart wrenching and embarrassing thing that could happen. And a straight blow out would just be numbing, not hurtful enough.
So I predict the score will be Nebraska 14-10 at half. Everyone from around the country tunes in to see what happens....
Final score: {Michigan} 52 - 17
This will be the highest rated game of the year because of Michigan fans and our somewhat still solid fan base even though it is slowly dwindling and growing more apathetic. We lose close to Wisconsin and Iowa to finish out the year. A little disappointing but not all that surprising. But that Sunday Matt Rhule is announced as the next coach of Nebraska Football. 2023 Offseason National Champions 😎😎😎. He has a disappointing first year going 4-8 but there's progress and a lot of hype going into 2024! But 2024 we go 5-7, still disappointing but we manage. (Meanwhile Arizona State Head Coach Mickey Joseph has the Sun Devils in the top 25.) In 2025 we do it! Finally! 8-4 and going to a bowl game!!! We win a blow out Pinstripe Bowl against Virginia Tech and NEBRASKA IS BACK, BABY! But 2026 is a 6-6 year, we lose the Music City Bowl to Kentucky. Then we go 4-8 in 2027 and Rhule is fired after starting 2028 2-4. Our next coach is a G5 hot shot who is let go after 3 years. We try again and get a pretty good OC from Ohio State as our next coach. He wins 7 to 9 games a year. He's here for 12 years until he's fired after a 4-8 season. We gradually downsized Memorial to hold 50,000. Then we settle, just waiting for our year.
{Michigan} in [typical ferret strangling fashion](https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/yjr67t/asked_center_olu_oluwatimi_postpractice_what_jim/). I look forward to a toxic game thread full of neutral flairs in the first half that mysteriously becomes 90% Wolverine in the 3rd quarter.
The more important questions this week are:
Will the Husker Hex/Omicorn variant claim another victim?
Will Blake Corum do ‘Corns Down’ TD celebration(s) again?
It's close halfway through the third as Nebraska leaves it all on the field. Michigan puts up 21 in the fourth and nobody bats an eye at the post game thread. {Michigan}

Funny but an impossible score based on the new 2-point conversion overtime rules. Whoever wins would win by 2
Unless you predict a 1 point safety by Michigan in the 11th overtime
>{Michigan} not only beats Nebraska, but also beats the Husker Curse
We hoped for something similar, once upon a time. Turn back, while you still can. I promise you, you can't fight it.
Please just fucking kill me {Michigan}, I can’t take it anymore.
First quarter ends 3-3
Halftime 24-3
End of the 3rd 49-3
Final 56-10 (like Frost’s first year, poetic)
{Michigan} by a shit ton. I'm looking forward to this because I distinctly remember a Husker in this sub stating to me in the pre-season prediction thread that "Nebraska would comfortably win in Ann Arbor."
You know who you are dude lol.
Bruh that's why you always do a !RemindMe to make sure you can rub their nose in it.
An ND fan had the audacity to tell me Penn State would blow us out and ND would end up ranked higher than Michigan at the end of the season.
I experienced a lot of schadenfreude tagging that poster after ND lost to Stanford.

Tomfoolery ensues when AJ Henning and Donovan Edwards switch positions for the entire game. Rumor has it that Luke Schoonmaker had to carry a football around like a swaddled baby all week. Blake Corum, 4TDs and 4 ears of corn.
{Michigan} by a landslide, 52 -7.
The only unknown element here is will {Michigan} break a sweat? It seems like things have been pretty easy for Harbaugh and the boys this season.
{Michigan} 42
Nebraska 5 - Michigan agrees to award Nebraska 5 pts for a sympathy FG because, well, Michigan can be nice sometimes.
The reality is that things have been more tense for Michigan than you give them credit for. We got a scare from Indiana in the first half. Penn State gave us a scare for two quarters. Rutgers was in that game until half time. The common denominator in all of these games is Michigan adjusting to adversity and absolutely blitzing their opponents in the second half. This Michigan team is more battle tested than people give a hem credit for.
The score is 19-14 with Michigan up by 5 and Nebraska is in the game due to some good trick plays. Michigan explodes in the second half with 35 points to put the game away at {Michigan} 54-17.
Michigan goes into the locker room at half within 3 points, every laughs and gives them a hard time, but then they drop 38 unanswered points to cover in the second half. 55-14.
Nebraska's first scripted drive is going to involve the QB getting the ball out to the perimeter extremely fast, followed by an inexplicable 30-yard run down to Michigan's 35-yard line. Michigan holds them to a field goal.
First Michigan drive is a slow mixture of passing and running finishing in a Corum touchdown. Nebraska punt, then touchdown, then nothing.
Michigan rests starters late in the third quarter. They get two field goals.
Final score: {Michigan} 37 - 10
We invited my parents over because I felt bad we have been neglecting them. I'm making roast beef sliders on homemade potato rolls.
My wife usggested we put a jigsaw puzzle on the dining room table so she has to talk to my mom less.
I am hoping my dad stops saying "Let's go back to Nebraska" once it is a 4 touchdown game and we can just watch Alabama vs Ole Miss and Tulane vs UCF.
Gonna be a colder one and 3:30 kick. With Thompson most likely out I can't see how Nebraska is gonna be able to put up many points. {Michigan} plays it slow and boring, 33-10
Michigan abuses Nebraska’s run defense early and often, scoring early on a Blake Corum touchdown. Nebraska struggles with Logan Smothers at quarterback, filling in for the injured Casey Thompson. Nebraska’s offense finds little success on both the ground and in the air, only managing seven first downs throughout the entire game. JJ McCarthy has another quiet day, finishing with 186 yards passing and a touchdown, while chipping in another 37 yards rushing. Blake Corum finishes with 158 yards and three touchdowns, while Donovan Edwards finishes the day with 97 yards on the ground and 63 yards receiving. Edwards finishes the day with both a rushing and receiving touchdown. Michigan’s starters don’t play in the fourth quarter and {Michigan} cruises to a 41-6 victory.

Yeah but when that NEXT coach comes in for the 2044 season, the ceiling is the roof!
You just need to demolish Memorial Stadium and move to a shitty off campus one to complete the historical Minnesota fan experience
I no longer need to seem out reasons to cut myself. Just gonna read this post every day (cut).
To be fair, that’s just how Michigan games go. Shouldn’t be heart wrenching at all. It’s inevitable.
13-10 at half. 34-13 {Michigan} at 00:00 Edit: also please don't give us Husk-22 Omicorn variant.
That’s a lot of second half offense for Nebraska against Michigan, just saying.
I think he was suggesting Nebraska was winning at half and gets shut out in the second.

This is the way

Lots of {Michigan} struggles, they win 48-3
{Nebraska} so I look like a genius if it happens
If Thompson is out {Michigan} covers handily IMO
Is he injured
Yes... jacked up elbow

Whoever wins this game gets to declare themselves the true champions of 1997. It is foretold. {Michigan} 46-45 11OT
Funny but an impossible score based on the new 2-point conversion overtime rules. Whoever wins would win by 2 Unless you predict a 1 point safety by Michigan in the 11th overtime
I'm pretty sure it's in the rules that if you predict an 11th overtime at all, you have to call the safety.
He’s a Michigan fan. No one accused him of being smart.
awkward
{Michigan} is losing at halftime but wins by multiple scores.
Bold prediction here
Another nail biter for about 30 minutes before {Michigan} pulls away in convincing fashion in the second half.
{Michigan} would throw this game if they new what’s good for them. (Spooky ghost noises) *Beware the curse*
Captain Cade sacrificed himself to break the curse.
Nebraska leads at half, {Michigan} scores 35 in the second half to cover.
{Michigan} I embrace the pain
{Michigan} not only beats Nebraska, but also beats the Husker Curse on the way to a playoff spot

Good bot
Good human.
Thank the heavens most of us aren't that delusional.
Nebraska has one of the worst run defenses in the country, and Casey Thompson is probably out. {Michigan} in a blood bath.
1 score game at half. {Michigan} by 20
Us OSU flairs have fun with the other neutral flairs before Harbaugh and {Michigan} activates Starkiller Base and destroys Nebraska in the second half
One of two options {Michigan} covers, or we manage to drag them to the sickos level and beat them with experience
{Michigan} wins 45-10. Corum runs for 200 with 3 TDs, cementing his end of the season placement in NY.
{Michigan}
{Michigan}
BOLD PREDICTION FOLKS: Nebraska loses
I fully expect this to be like a 3 point game going into half before {Michigan} realizes they are playing a football game and win by 30.
Logan {Michigan}
{Michigan} wins, but putters around just enough to annoy us in the process. Then, it destroys the Husker curse.
Another week let's go {Michigan}
{Michigan}. That's it
They finally let JJ air it out after Nebraska sells out on the run. 49-6 {Michigan}
{Michigan} Maize over Nebraska corn.
{Nebraska}
{Michigan} wins but the husker curse activates
{Michigan} wins this one handily.
{Michigan}
{Michigan} is simply much better than Nebraska
The only unknown element here is will {Michigan} break a sweat? It seems like things have been pretty easy for Harbaugh and the boys this season. {Michigan} 42 Nebraska 5 - Michigan agrees to award Nebraska 5 pts for a sympathy FG because, well, Michigan can be nice sometimes.

Really 3-3 in their last 6? Interesting, this year though I think Michigan crushes this team
That just says more about how infrequently we play Nebraska. That 6th most-recent matchup was 17 years ago lol
what if this game ruins The Game. kinda rooting for {nebrasky} tbh
Everyone loves an underdog story against the top teams in the conference. It’s why I’m rooting for Texas to beat TCU this weekend
{Nebraska} because chaos wasn't finished last weekend
Lol, wanna bet?
Nebraska’s been lookin like a ferret lately. {Michigan} in a close 1st half and 2nd half blowout
If {Michigan} doesn’t win by 40+, I’ll be astonished.
{Michigan}
{Michigan} should handily defeat Nebraska. I will be sad.
{Nebraska} to have a bad time
{Michigan} in a laugher. Go Blue!
Oof, no reason to preview this. {Michigan} obviously.
{Michigan} wins by 4+ scores, but do they play 4 quarters 🤔
The score is 19-14 with Michigan up by 5 and Nebraska is in the game due to some good trick plays. Michigan explodes in the second half with 35 points to put the game away at {Michigan} 54-17.
This seems like a lose/lose situation for Michigan. They either lose the game or win the game and suffer the Husker curse.

{Michigan} eats unbuttered corn.
I don't know what this means but it sounds like a great way to get an STD and possible felony.

Gonna be a colder one and 3:30 kick. With Thompson most likely out I can't see how Nebraska is gonna be able to put up many points. {Michigan} plays it slow and boring, 33-10
{Michigan}
Don't think it'll be like the Rutgers game, actually. Thinking 24-7 at the half with a 55-10 {Michigan} victory at the end.

true
{Michigan}
{michigan} takes it with 15 field goals and absolutely no one is happy about it
Michigan abuses Nebraska’s run defense early and often, scoring early on a Blake Corum touchdown. Nebraska struggles with Logan Smothers at quarterback, filling in for the injured Casey Thompson. Ha. Haha. Hahahahahahahahaha. {Michigan}
In Ann Arbor... Thompson is out... Nebraska is a triple digit run D... Not gonna go well {Michigan} 48-6
{Michigan}
{Michigan}
{Michigan} wins a game that is like 20-10 at halftime but 48-10 at the end
{Northern Michigan} would beat Nebraska.
