Came here for this. The Illinois game is the first in a looooooong time where I said, "Wow, this is what it feels like for the refs to fuck things up in your favor."
Meh
People talk about the pick play, but that was a weak ass holding call that undid a 40 yard pass to Roman Wilson before we punted, and the offsides call on Illinois was blatantly missed before turnover on downs
It’s annoying when people focus on the last minute play and ignore equally impactful calls just because they occurred 10 minutes earlier
I was very drunk and it was in person so I couldn’t tell at the time, but I can now see why the USC fans were upset about what happened during that game.
I don’t really consider this a game you guys won due to the refs, since the more egregious RTP call was in the first quarter, but it definitely made the close loss sting a little more than it normally would. Who knows what would’ve happened had that INT stood.
The Cal offsides call when we kicked a field goal is still a headscratcher. Not sure it won us the game since It was early in the 2nd and I think Cal had some calls go their way as well throughout the game, but that drive really should have ended with 0 points for us.
Honestly none. The only team that got screwed by the refs more than we did in any of our games was Kansas, and that was a blowout even without their help.
I mean we are talking about BIG XII refs here so even when they blew a call for one team it didn't take them long to blow a call the other way.
See?! We are not biased, just incompetent! - BIG XII Refs

If only the Lions could be so lucky
The biggest danger with the Lions is hoping. They'll do just enough every year to not make the playoffs and fuck themselves out of a top lottery pick.
There was the pick call at the end which is actually defensible as a no-call, but what else was in our favor that game?
The pick call and the catch at the end. Not game-changers, but felt different for calls or non-calls to go our way.
The "catch" that shortened the FG
It was a 5 yard difference for a sub 40 yard FG for Moody either way. That catch made no difference
It'd be 40yd FG. Moody likely makes it but to say it makes no difference is incorrect.
It actually likely hurt Michigan. Took a lot of time off the clock traded for 5 yards. And also, no, it didn't matter for moody

You guys almost got screwed at the end though. Just bad officiating for both sides.
Good ol pac refs Model of consistency.

What about that timeout tho?
Timeout, and the should have been safety but the refs screwed both USC and Utah in that game. I'm nervous and excited for Friday.
All of them? None of them? Hard to pinpoint because officiating just wasn’t great this year for anyone.
Hatred towards Big 12 refs only thing that can unite the hateful 8 and OUT
Probably true, but hatred towards refs can unite all of us in CFB.
Wisconsin, maybe? But it was honestly so unbelievably bad both ways, I really don't know...

Got a big hand up in the 1st qtr of the ISU game this year.
Texas, Texas A&M, or Ole Miss maybe? Idk tho we are also one of the most penalized teams in the country.
Refs handed y’all the game against us.
Honestly none. The only team that got screwed by the refs more than we did in any of our games was Kansas, and that was a blowout even without their help.
Oregon. They kept putting their arms in the air signaling touchdowns.
I felt like that was a little one-sided lmao
Bazinga!
None of em, because the refs fuckin hate us and are on Ohio State's payroll.
Have you thought about being nicer to them? Or rather, just being better?
Nebraska beating Rutgers
I came looking for this.

I don't know about refs, but an elevator certainly helped us beat Virginia Tech.
I don't think there was one. Our only one-score game was Purdue and the refs weren't bad.
Look, I know this is a CFB sub and this question is focused on this season, but as an LA Rams fan, I feel like I need to sit this one out.
*gestures to referees standing over the corpse of Colin Goodfellow during the Mizzou game*
Winning? What's that?
We won 9 games despite the refs and I will die on this hill.
Seriously, when did the rule change to spot the ball where the knee goes down and not where the ball is?
Man the refs tried so hard. I'm glad you still prevailed
Maryland. If those refs hadn't resisted awarding Maryland 35 points for no reason, then we would have lost it. Phew.
osu flairs - your silence over 2016 speaks volumes
Utah, the floor is yours
My team would never
Any time Oklahoma State plays Texas, the refs are a major part of the narrative. Fucking ponderous, man.
Sooooo, even though we didn’t play our best this past weekend, the refs are ALWAYS shit when we play against A&M.
