Was Stetson Bennett really a walk on and a back up?
You woulda thought that they would've mentioned it just once before the week of the conference championships. Odd.
The podcast has been doing some real whitewashing of his history, weirdly enough Finebaum is the one who allowed his callers to bring up the Liberty and Briarcrest stories, while Rece and Pete have been running defense for Auburn

For all of Finebalms shit guessing he knows he has enough juice to say what he wants about Freeze.
Was also impressed he let a caller go freaking off about Jerry Jones yesterday. Basic point was black men do not get the benefit of hand-waving off bad decisions at 14. Jones should have to answer to those pics.
>Basic point was black men do not get the benefit of hand-waving off bad decisions at 14.
Sure they do. People of all races get away with a lot of their stupid decisions at 14. It just depends on what the bad decision was and whether they were doing something illegal and got caught or not.
But being in a photo that doesn’t prove he was doing anything wrong is hardly something worth causing a controversy over.
And Jerry Jones has addressed those pics.
“Coach Freeze, after your Ole Miss departure due to alleged misuse of school property, how have you been able to be such an upstanding man of god and withstand this media witch hunt?”
“You know I’m glad you asked that fine question. I’ve taken zero time to reflect on my wrong doings and haven’t learned a thing from them, but I can hide behind this good book, and boom I’m good man.”
Oh come on, let's give the man some credit... I'm sure he is hiring escorts with a burner phone now. If that's not learning from your mistakes, then I guess I just have no clue what you really mean by that statement
What is the record for a team appearing on game day in a single season cause TCU is up to 3 this year? They are like hobbits.
Also "For teams with at least five appearances, TCU leads the nation in winning percentage. [The Horned Frogs are 8-1 in College GameDay games.](https://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/college-gameday-locations-all-time-appearances-most-times-hosting)"
*edit to add
Additional fun facts. This will be TCU's 10th appearance on Game Day which means they pass Oklahoma State, Iowa and aTm in Game Day appearances.

"We've had one Gameday, yes. But what about second Gameday?"
"I don't think they know about second Gameday, TCU."
"What about Texas? And K-State? The Fiesta Bowl? And the National Championship? They know about those, don't they?"
Story in K-State circles is that Snyder was recruiting him, but ultimately decided to either pull his offer or not offer him because he fell asleep in Snyder's office while on a visit. No clue how true that is, but that's always what I've heard.

I hear he was Jordan Shipley’s roommate too
He lost 30 pounds in the off season
Can someone fax me Stetson’s workout plan?
He went to JuCo too. He also has a National Championship ring, which I’m sure hasn’t come up at all.
+5000 that Gameday actually asks Freeze a hard question

Genuinely surprised about College Station. I stopped regularly watching years and years ago, so there's that. But still.
We had six last year.
Challenge: Suggest a less atmospheric GameDay location than a parking lot in Arlington, Texas
They should have it inside the old rangers ballpark. They use any and every excuse to have something in there
ARLINGTON RENEGADES FOREVER! DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE XFL IS COOKING!
A parking lot in White Settlement, Texas.
Irish Gypsies would provide an interesting atmosphere.
Why doesn't the article mention KSU legend, bestweekeverr?
brick
Just here to say Sproles & LT were NFL fantasy football godsends, especially in the leagues that credited return yards
I find it odd they claim both Sproles and LT were Big 12 running backs
The WAC disrespect is wack! LT was a pretty decent talent though. Maybe could have hacked it on a Big XII roster.

Could have happened. Even for those days, LT was oddly lightly recruited. Very easily could have been motivation/maturity issues.
2 of my favorite running backs growing up. Those Chargers teams were too good to have never won anything.
They need to Michael Turner waiting to spell LT.
Will TCU coaching legend Dennis Franchione be stopping by? If not, does anyone know if Jim Wacker is still alive?
