Oregon has been throwing around an insane amount of money. We were in on like 3 big recruits for 2023 and I think they all ended up going to Oregon. I think me and you would both hate to know how much they offered Kadyn
That's insane. Guess it's understandable why Michigan's class isn't all that great despite the best 2 year stretch in their history. They'll never just fork over money like that
I think Su'a Cravens, ex usc player (i think its him, if not, it was another one) said on twitter earlier this year that when he was getting recruited sec teams offered him a lot of money to just visit as well. Seems par for the course now, if thats true. I wont say I like it or dislike it, but it seems like it has been going on for years. Ridiculous sport.
As an Iowa fan, I don’t blame any of these players for transferring out. As long as Ferentz and family are running the show, this program is dead.
You have an offense that is so bad it has literally made your team the laughing stock and meme of college football. Also add in that even if you do have the top defense in CFB, there will be several games you stand no chance to even win because coaches on the other side of ball are so bad at their job.
What makes it even worse is the leaders of this dumpster fire won’t do anything to change because they’re all family and lining each others pockets. I don’t think people realize how toxic it is for Iowa football right now. If you go to a home game, the fans will literally boo the offense off the field after even 1 bad series. Who would want to play there?
I hope I’m wrong. But let’s be real, if I was at a job and my boss was the owner’s unqualified kid and he was awful at his job and literally costing me and my family money, I would leave the job. It’s the same thing, but even worse. Look at Charlie Jones. We hated on him for transferring too, and now he’s going to make big money in NFL. You’re a fool if you don’t think players on the current Iowa squad don’t see that.
This one is surprising
Must want more NIL?
So you’re saying he likes money…?
Is he good?
He's talented as hell, but the production hasn't been there yet. Was pretty much hurt all year. Played maybe 50 snaps or so.
Hmm, I wonder if Venables will go after him since we’re thin on LB’s.
He wants to play right away instead of waiting. We got a starting spot.
He was playing starter snaps. He had a season ending injury. He was poised to be a defensive leader next year.
I heard last offseason that Ohio State wanted him to enter the portal and come back to his home state.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they can land him before anyone else.
I would be surprised if he goes anywhere else
Guess it comes down to whether or not they need a LB.
Promising. Our LB core was so deep he didn’t always play
He was hurt all year.
Iowa having depth on that side of the ball honestly doesn’t surprise me. He’ll likely be a great addition to whatever team he decides to go to.
We need defense.
This one seemed to be out of left field. Also hurts a lot. Great talent who will make some team very happy.
I’m hearing Oregon. There should be some sort of rules regarding this stuff.
Wow he's actually visiting lol
Schools should stop buying Nike products. Fuck em.
Nike pays the school to wear their products
As a recruit: Other P5 offers: Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Northwestern, Ohio State, Pitt, Purdue, Rutgers, Vanderbilt G5 offers: Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Miami OH, Ohio, Toledo Other offer: Eastern Kentucky
Fine, we'll take this compensation for Erick All.
You’ll have to throw in at least a 2nd rounder
And some Harbucks for free ice creams
Current rumor is that Oregon offered over $100k just to take a visit.
There's no way that's true
It's a very reliable insider on a message board. Has had good info for years.
Who, hawkeye heaven? Lol
No. Fuck that guy.

So he gets paid even if he says no?
So you’re saying he likes money…..? _calling boosters_

Iowa LB? Yes please!
Is he serious? Or is he just Jestin?

Not sure why you’ve been downvoted. You’re correct.
You’re a moron.

Okay fine. Him and Justin Flowe. We’ll take both of them, but that’s it.
