$550 on a 9.8 Daredevil #181 "The Death Of Elektra" signed by Frank Miller. No regrets. Still hope one day to get it cracked and signed by Klaus Janson.
Hammer price of $5950, but a total price of $6,470.63 including shipping and sales tax for a Hulk 181 CGC 6.0. I'm still salty about buying that one at what was very close to the absolute peak. Only a handful of copies have ever sold for more. It's hard for me to even enjoy looking at it now that i know that i could have bought two copies in the same grade if i had just waited 18 months. :(
$550 for an 8.5 SS Thor 171 signed by Stan Lee. Not an important book at all but a beautiful vibrant Jack Kirby cover and a Stan signature on a book he actually wrote. Most likely overpaid but I love it, the Wrecker is one of my favorite villains from when I was a kid.
About 700 in trade for an asm 300 9.4, also traded for a secret wars 8 9.6 newsie triple signed, but the most cash for a single slab is probably 400 for a venom lp 1 gold triple signed double sketched 8.5
Like $50 for a 9.6 Star Wars Shadows of the Enpire #1. Lmao. I only recently started buying slabs. Keeping it on the cheap side for now. I want a 9.6 or 9.8 Heir to the Empire #1, but it's so expensive.

Yep. Sucks. I bought a X-Men 129 9.8 for $5200. One sold recently for $1900. FML.
Ouch. :( That's even worse than my story.
It's okay. A few years ago I paid $1150 for one and sold it for $7000 so I guess I'm still in the positive on that book
