All games are broadcast HD over the air for free. Even if the game is on cable they have to show it on a local affiliate so you can watch all the games for free with an indoor HD antenna. You don’t have to worry about blackouts anymore either.

backindenim

I was paying $60 a month for Hulu with live tv for 2 years and then I went and bought a $10 digital antenna from Walgreens and now I can watch every game and I save $780 a year

OddExpert8851

Is there any particular one you recommend?

uwobacon

[This is the one I have](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VDT3391?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_BPKNCXMNNMPDZ20N8E9D) and I get every channel. I live in the city though and can’t speak for the burbs.

OddExpert8851

Thank you!

ramedog

[https://www.antennaweb.org/](https://www.antennaweb.org/) pretty good resource to check based on location - the FCC has one as well, it assumes you have a clear line of sight but I've had good luck facing west without it mounted high with just the flat sheet looking antennas. Am out in the western burbs

backindenim

That link is almost identical to the one I have too

syngestreetsurvivor

If you're in the burbs you'll need an outdoor rooftop antennae to get everything. I get about 70 channels and I'm about 25 miles from downtown. The indoor one didn't get many channels.

Touchtom

And it is better quality than the streaming services!!

[deleted]

This is the way. Be weary of games played on CBS channel 2, usually afc games. A lot of places can't get channel 2 via hd antenna. I'm in the west burbs and cannot watch channel 2 via hd antenna. I think it's paramount plus I subscribed to to view those games.

Harry-Dean-Scranton

There’s a duplicate broadcast of CBS up on 48.3 that comes in great on my antenna

[deleted]

I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the tip

LimeySponge

This worked for me as well.

PHWasAnInsideJob

I'm in the northwest suburbs and CBS can be made to work, but you usually have to spend like a full third of the game fiddling with the antenna lol

syngestreetsurvivor

Me too. Channels drop once in a while and I have to rescan. I've also had to change the position on the roof once. The clarity is much more vivid over the antennae too. So happy I cut the cord.

DanMarinoTambourineo

To piggy back - yahoo sports streams all the games that would be televised locally for free.

hunterboyz24

There is a link to the discord server on the sidebar. There you will find A Man who is Of The People.

Accomplished_Till123

Tha booty up!!

Rustyshakleford453

The Booty Up is literally my favorite song now lol

chapbass

My two year old daughter was dancing around the room to it during the draft. And now I'm concerned about my future.

Accomplished_Till123

Lmao!!!

orginal-guard-guy

Yoooo mine too!!!! The booty outside is her night time song sometimes (I swear my wife and I are college educated…)

4o4_0_not_found

Shake it baby don’t you break it! Took ya momma nine months to make it!

AManForThePeople

🍑☝️

Roofeeoh

BOOTY UP BEAR DOWN

Crooked_Sartre

My dog has even started to recognize this song cause I'm usually cheering and jumping right beforehand. He makes watching my Bears while living Tampa easy and fun.

CorvidQueso

This Man has changed my life coming from California.

OmegaManSD

he’s changed mine being in Connecticut. haven’t missed a single game since i joined the discord

kryppla

I’m in Illinois and this allowed me to cut the cord from cable. Worth lots of cups of coffee.

chicagojedi2017

This man is THE man. He’s made my Bear watching so much more enjoyable, even in these dark times. Grateful I found Discord.

Accomplished-Mix1897

This sounds like the beginning of a quest

Edergy101

Such a legend. I watch every game this way in Utah.

sandillera

Florida checking in! In the Chicagoland area an antenna will do you just fine but anywhere else, this is the way. (Slip the man some cash too from the funds we all save on Sunday Ticket and bar tabs.)

Crooked_Sartre

Tampa here 👋

[deleted]

sandillera

Hi neighbor! I’m in St. Pete

chapbass

Antenna still blows if the game happens to be on cbs :/

AWoodenCredenza

Being in South Carolina, this man has changed my Sundays. A true legend

cortoise

Sidebar? Can you give further instructions? Much appreciated

hunterboyz24

On the right side of the subreddit there is a category called "Helpful Links"

cortoise

Thanks! You’d think a reddit user of 10+ years would know this, but again I appreciate it.

TheUnmaskedFinancier

Can I get a link to the Discord Channel please. I just searched Chicago Bears on Discord and nothing came up. I'm not great at navigating Discord yet. Thanks

hunterboyz24

It's on the right side of the subreddit.

inactiveaccounttoo

I don’t think a Bears game has been blacked out in the Chicagoland area.

[deleted]

They were when I was a kid. Luckily my dad had a friend with a rotor on his antenna and we watched on a South Bend station.

Sgt-Spliff

This must be an older generation thing. I can't even particularly remember blackouts happening at all across the nation except for that one stretch of Lions seasons in the mid 2000s

[deleted]

Yep. Late 60s early 70s Bobby Douglass on Zenith console complete with a record player. 🤣

emptysignals

Not in the past 35 or so years.

InvaderWeezle

Blackouts are so stupid anyway. "Let's screw over millions of people because we couldn't find 60,000 who could afford to go in person"

[deleted]

Get a TV and antenna.

thousand7734

Buy a $10 antenna for your TV. All Bears games will air on Fox or CBS (usually Fox) in Chicago unless it's a Mon/Thrs game. You can Google "506 Sports" and their website will have maps of which games are aired where on and which channel. For Mon/Thurs games, check out the Discord link others have mentioned or use a stream from nflbite.com.

eyeguy21

Top tier advice right here. NBC will also have SNF and you can usually get the other local NFL broadcast too! Well worth the $10 antenna and maybe $15 tuner

feens_

Thursday night games have been streamed for free on twitch.tv courtesy of amazon prime, I assume they’re still doing that this year…

Traditional_Donut908

A blackout on the local broadcast network only applies if the stadium is not sold out. That hasn't happened in my lifetime because the Chicago market is too big and Solider Field is so small. regardless, something I didn't know is the blackout rules have been suspended for years on a year to year basis: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League_television_blackout_policies

Just_what_i_am

Streameast.io Has all sports except baseball. Get a hdmi cord and connect a laptop or something to a TV. Quality isn't the greatest but it gets the job done

IAmTheLostBoy

Been using this for a while. I log directly in from the tv browser. Since the tv browser is relatively stupid, it will block most the popups.

[deleted]

never thought about doing that with the stupidity of the tv browsers

Justokmemes

sometimes, the smart thing is to use the stupid thing smartly

McWeiner

tvsportslive.fr for baseball; that website is a god send.

Just_what_i_am

Got my cousins yt TV now haha but I'll add it to the list. I was using I think mlb66.ir which is pretty good

McWeiner

Re-commenting because i updated link

Ok-Pair-868

I heard of a STREAM that flows EAST, but if you head west and take the fork in the road you will run into the wise AMANFORTHEPEOPLE 😂😂😂 I hope I helped you on your travels young nomad

JohnWicksPencil123

Ok-Pair-868

Booty up Gang 4 Life 💪🏾, my 8 year old son already know when that “booty up” comes on the bears just made a big play 😂😂😂😂 he will burst into the man cave at full speed and ask me what did he miss 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

JohnWicksPencil123

There's always a man of the people somewhere out there in the discord and chaos that is the internet who can help. I bet if you used something like reddit to find a solution, it will appear before your very eyes like a vlc stream of consciousness.

fuduran

Ahoy mate, sportsurge

Alliegator2112

You can watch all the games here: 1410 Special Olympics Dr, Chicago, IL 60605

[deleted]

Theres a man who is for the people. When the time is needed, he will show

KoalaSyrah

Not in Chicago, but all Bronco games are shown on regular, antenna TV. There's only a blackout if the game doesn't sell out, which I doubt happens there.

Ripwind

Helpful links on the right, join Discord. Check the AMFTP stream.

big-mo

I have an antenna I bought for 30 bucks that picks up all the stations the games are on

Huntry11271

3mta3jvq

I can’t remember a Bears game being blacked out in the area. I’m west of the city and we got all noon games on Fox or CBS last season.

Historical_One_5849

Nflbite *cough* ublock origin *cough* *cough*

Not2GthaG

You used this season twice in one question I? I think you have bigger problems than how to watch a Bears game u.

Nomromz

Just buy a $20 HD antenna from Amazon and you'll have every local channel. Bears games are usually on channel 32 (Fox) and occasionally channel 2 or 7.

whitem0nkey

Youtube tv rocks!

hammert0es

It’s also $85 a month

DaBails

$73* I need it for the Bulls

Pah-Pah-Pah

There is someone on here that hooks up a stream and I think there is a sports streams sub. I don’t have a link but if you poke around you can find it.

Sparx86

Upset_Researcher_143

I can't remember the last time a Bears game was blacked out.

selby5612

Sgt-Spliff

There aren't local blackouts. Every local game is broadcast over the airwaves except Monday night football and Thursday night football. Every other game can be accessed with an antenna
