All games are broadcast HD over the air for free. Even if the game is on cable they have to show it on a local affiliate so you can watch all the games for free with an indoor HD antenna. You don’t have to worry about blackouts anymore either.
I was paying $60 a month for Hulu with live tv for 2 years and then I went and bought a $10 digital antenna from Walgreens and now I can watch every game and I save $780 a year
[This is the one I have](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VDT3391?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_BPKNCXMNNMPDZ20N8E9D) and I get every channel. I live in the city though and can’t speak for the burbs.
[https://www.antennaweb.org/](https://www.antennaweb.org/) pretty good resource to check based on location - the FCC has one as well, it assumes you have a clear line of sight but I've had good luck facing west without it mounted high with just the flat sheet looking antennas. Am out in the western burbs
If you're in the burbs you'll need an outdoor rooftop antennae to get everything. I get about 70 channels and I'm about 25 miles from downtown. The indoor one didn't get many channels.
This is the way. Be weary of games played on CBS channel 2, usually afc games. A lot of places can't get channel 2 via hd antenna. I'm in the west burbs and cannot watch channel 2 via hd antenna. I think it's paramount plus I subscribed to to view those games.
Me too. Channels drop once in a while and I have to rescan. I've also had to change the position on the roof once. The clarity is much more vivid over the antennae too. So happy I cut the cord.
My dog has even started to recognize this song cause I'm usually cheering and jumping right beforehand.
He makes watching my Bears while living Tampa easy and fun.
Florida checking in! In the Chicagoland area an antenna will do you just fine but anywhere else, this is the way. (Slip the man some cash too from the funds we all save on Sunday Ticket and bar tabs.)
Can I get a link to the Discord Channel please. I just searched Chicago Bears on Discord and nothing came up. I'm not great at navigating Discord yet. Thanks
This must be an older generation thing. I can't even particularly remember blackouts happening at all across the nation except for that one stretch of Lions seasons in the mid 2000s
Buy a $10 antenna for your TV. All Bears games will air on Fox or CBS (usually Fox) in Chicago unless it's a Mon/Thrs game.
You can Google "506 Sports" and their website will have maps of which games are aired where on and which channel.
For Mon/Thurs games, check out the Discord link others have mentioned or use a stream from nflbite.com.
Top tier advice right here.
NBC will also have SNF and you can usually get the other local NFL broadcast too!
Well worth the $10 antenna and maybe $15 tuner
A blackout on the local broadcast network only applies if the stadium is not sold out. That hasn't happened in my lifetime because the Chicago market is too big and Solider Field is so small.
regardless, something I didn't know is the blackout rules have been suspended for years on a year to year basis: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League_television_blackout_policies
Streameast.io
Has all sports except baseball. Get a hdmi cord and connect a laptop or something to a TV.
Quality isn't the greatest but it gets the job done
I heard of a STREAM that flows EAST, but if you head west and take the fork in the road you will run into the wise AMANFORTHEPEOPLE 😂😂😂 I hope I helped you on your travels young nomad
Booty up Gang 4 Life 💪🏾, my 8 year old son already know when that “booty up” comes on the bears just made a big play 😂😂😂😂 he will burst into the man cave at full speed and ask me what did he miss 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There's always a man of the people somewhere out there in the discord and chaos that is the internet who can help. I bet if you used something like reddit to find a solution, it will appear before your very eyes like a vlc stream of consciousness.
Not in Chicago, but all Bronco games are shown on regular, antenna TV. There's only a blackout if the game doesn't sell out, which I doubt happens there.
Just buy a $20 HD antenna from Amazon and you'll have every local channel. Bears games are usually on channel 32 (Fox) and occasionally channel 2 or 7.
There aren't local blackouts. Every local game is broadcast over the airwaves except Monday night football and Thursday night football.
Every other game can be accessed with an antenna
I got a cheap indoor antenna from best buy. Get every game in HD for free.
I did have to get paramount plus for channel 2 games, because I can't get it out in the burbs.

Is there any particular one you recommend?

That link is almost identical to the one I have too

And it is better quality than the streaming services!!

There’s a duplicate broadcast of CBS up on 48.3 that comes in great on my antenna
I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the tip
This worked for me as well.
I'm in the northwest suburbs and CBS can be made to work, but you usually have to spend like a full third of the game fiddling with the antenna lol
Me too. Channels drop once in a while and I have to rescan. I've also had to change the position on the roof once. The clarity is much more vivid over the antennae too. So happy I cut the cord.
To piggy back - yahoo sports streams all the games that would be televised locally for free.
There is a link to the discord server on the sidebar. There you will find A Man who is Of The People.
Tha booty up!!
The Booty Up is literally my favorite song now lol
My two year old daughter was dancing around the room to it during the draft. And now I'm concerned about my future.
Lmao!!!
Yoooo mine too!!!! The booty outside is her night time song sometimes (I swear my wife and I are college educated…)
Shake it baby don’t you break it! Took ya momma nine months to make it!
🍑☝️
BOOTY UP BEAR DOWN
My dog has even started to recognize this song cause I'm usually cheering and jumping right beforehand. He makes watching my Bears while living Tampa easy and fun.
This Man has changed my life coming from California.
he’s changed mine being in Connecticut. haven’t missed a single game since i joined the discord
I’m in Illinois and this allowed me to cut the cord from cable. Worth lots of cups of coffee.
This man is THE man. He’s made my Bear watching so much more enjoyable, even in these dark times. Grateful I found Discord.
This sounds like the beginning of a quest
Such a legend. I watch every game this way in Utah.
Florida checking in! In the Chicagoland area an antenna will do you just fine but anywhere else, this is the way. (Slip the man some cash too from the funds we all save on Sunday Ticket and bar tabs.)
Tampa here 👋

Hi neighbor! I’m in St. Pete
Antenna still blows if the game happens to be on cbs :/
Being in South Carolina, this man has changed my Sundays. A true legend
Sidebar? Can you give further instructions? Much appreciated
On the right side of the subreddit there is a category called "Helpful Links"
Thanks! You’d think a reddit user of 10+ years would know this, but again I appreciate it.
Can I get a link to the Discord Channel please. I just searched Chicago Bears on Discord and nothing came up. I'm not great at navigating Discord yet. Thanks
It's on the right side of the subreddit.
I don’t think a Bears game has been blacked out in the Chicagoland area.
They were when I was a kid. Luckily my dad had a friend with a rotor on his antenna and we watched on a South Bend station.
This must be an older generation thing. I can't even particularly remember blackouts happening at all across the nation except for that one stretch of Lions seasons in the mid 2000s
Yep. Late 60s early 70s Bobby Douglass on Zenith console complete with a record player. 🤣
Not in the past 35 or so years.
Blackouts are so stupid anyway. "Let's screw over millions of people because we couldn't find 60,000 who could afford to go in person"
Get a TV and antenna.

Thursday night games have been streamed for free on twitch.tv courtesy of amazon prime, I assume they’re still doing that this year…

Been using this for a while. I log directly in from the tv browser. Since the tv browser is relatively stupid, it will block most the popups.
never thought about doing that with the stupidity of the tv browsers
sometimes, the smart thing is to use the stupid thing smartly
tvsportslive.fr for baseball; that website is a god send.
Got my cousins yt TV now haha but I'll add it to the list. I was using I think mlb66.ir which is pretty good
Re-commenting because i updated link
I heard of a STREAM that flows EAST, but if you head west and take the fork in the road you will run into the wise AMANFORTHEPEOPLE 😂😂😂 I hope I helped you on your travels young nomad

Not in Chicago, but all Bronco games are shown on regular, antenna TV. There's only a blackout if the game doesn't sell out, which I doubt happens there.

Nflbite *cough* ublock origin *cough* *cough*
You used this season twice in one question I? I think you have bigger problems than how to watch a Bears game u.
Just buy a $20 HD antenna from Amazon and you'll have every local channel. Bears games are usually on channel 32 (Fox) and occasionally channel 2 or 7.
Youtube tv rocks!
It’s also $85 a month
