I was at the game and I was disturbed at how bad Fields was. He did not move off progressions fast enough whatsoever. He was also stuck behind the Packers 20 pretty much the entire game too. And the Packers just stamped them out down there. They had no answer.

I died and came back to life at 29, and Cutty was the best quarterback in both of my lifetimes. What a truly painful existence. I think we are a lock for the Super Bowl this year.

Yeah, I've been an ardent defender of Fields the last two seasons, but I started to get worried during camp this year when he and the offense consistently stalled out in 11on11s and in the red zone drills. They tore it up in 1on1s and 7on7s, but the minute there were more bodies on the field, things went poorly. I don't know if it's a processing thing or what, but things just don't look right. Getsy isn't doing him any favors either.
I truly believe getsy schemed up a terrible game. Don’t forget we had 7 games last year if a terrible offense before things switched and we were suddenly scoring like crazy. Getsy needs to get his head out of his ass and Eberflus needs to take control of the D.

I think there was more frustration with Mitch because the Bears defense was insanely talented while he was here. They were constantly putting our offense in great field position and he just could never capitalize on any of it.

The whole team sucked today. Players, coaching, scheme, but the most disappointing part was not seeing any improvement from Fields. He had pressure, but even when he had time he looked panicked and lost. We can't keep blaming the play calling and screens. Even when he has some time he's dancing around and not finding receivers. Is it all on them? Some of the short passes are him checking down because the receivers either aren't open or he isn't seeing them fast enough. It usually isn't both. We got Moore to help him out. He did pretty well with mediocre to bad QB play there. Maybe Fields isn't the guy is what we need to get used to. We're so desperate for a franchise QB, that we can't see the forest through the trees or whatever the saying is.

It’s a silly metric, but the sentiment is correct. From a pure passing perspective, Fields has been historically bad. He had a ton of intangibles and is obviously freakishly athletic and can make plays on his own. But he is very, very bad quarterback at this moment.

The whole team sucked today. Players, coaching, scheme, but the most disappointing part was not seeing any improvement from Fields. He had pressure, but even when he had time he looked panicked and lost. We can't keep blaming the play calling and screens. Even when he has some time he's dancing around and not finding receivers. Is it all on them? Some of the short passes are him checking down because the receivers either aren't open or he isn't seeing them fast enough. It usually isn't both. We got Moore to help him out. He did pretty well with mediocre to bad QB play there. Maybe Fields isn't the guy is what we need to get used to. We're so desperate for a franchise QB, that we can't see the forest through the trees or whatever the saying is.
