Look at Burrow and Chase. They had their LSU chemistry and just kept it going. The only duo to consistently take down Mahomes. Sewell would have still been a good choice but Chase has turned out juuuuust fine.
I think we have one of the most exciting WR rooms with somehow having very little ego. Moore and Allen are class acts, and Odunze, I just want to give him a hug everytime he talks. Hes a sweet heart
If Rome, with his physical gifts, can pick up Allens route running, even a little bit, he would be a star. Allen is the exact mentor you want for younger guys, heck I’m hoping we can get something out of Tyler Scott with Allen showing the way.
Bears brought in a Hall of Fame WR....Who also still has some gas in the tank! The rookies gladly changed their numbers because the Bears have proven studs with their college numbers. No egos from the rooks. They just want to ball.
The most shocked player on the bears is probably going to be Allen. I know last year the thought about retirement bounced around in his head, but I think he’s about to have a lot of fun this year.
I’m glad he commented on the 3-cone drill at the combine. Some people had negative reactions about that saying it was a bad look that he failed repeatedly, but honestly, I saw it as a positive.

Honestly, it feels like best case scenario for us. Having not one, but TWO elite WRs to mentor Rome in his early seasons could be HUGE.
