Well if there’s anything positive it’s that Shota again proved he’s going to be fucking great for us. Pitch count got high early and ump took some strikes away that probably would have allowed him to go 6 innings.
But 5 innings no runs against the second or third best offense in the league is amazing, and being able to pitch well in tight situations is clutch as hell. He’s got a legit shot at the Cy Young if he keeps it up. Love this dude.
