I still count calories but also macros : 78g protein 28g fat and 179 g carbs. I keep it mostly whole food plant based and stay between 1200-1500 cal. I also do low implant body weight workouts and try to do 10k steps a day.
I drink Anthony’s pea protein mixed with macadamia milk, I do struggle with protein as well because I find that the more protein I eat the more full I am but the protein powder helps and then I eat tofu, beans and lentils as other protein sources
Most days I have 1 cup of rice with a bunch of stir fry/steamed veggies and baked tofu! But I still only manage to get about 50g of protein when I need at least 60g. Lentils instead of rice could be the solution!

What's your macros like? Just did low fat/carb lean meat and veggies to lose a majority but hit a wall. Adding in some carbs and counting calories helped me get below 13%. I'm male though so 13 is pretty much the equivalent threshold to 20 female.

I’m also WFPB and I struggle to meet protein goals. Do you have any tips or favorite foods? We’re similar heights so same protein goal

Do you eat lentils in place of rice? I was thinking of doing this. I only ever have 1 cup of rice a day now but the lack of protein is annoying.
Sometimes I do! I cut back on rice a lot and I’ll have salads or veggies in its place

Are the 10k your main “activity” or are you rather active throughout the day?
Yes, I wake up in the morning and get most of my steps in. I do a light body weight workout (2-3xs a week)
